"I have only owned this shaver (model LK-6300) for two weeks. I will write an update after some time. However, my preliminary review is as follows:I have shaved 4 times, roughly every three days seems a good routine for me. I am greatly surprised at how quick and easy it is to shave. You could likely manage to shave without looking, while watching a movie. I have tried both wet and dry shaving, and both were equally easy; depends on your preference. The first time I shaved I did quickly, perhaps 2 minutes. But I prefer going slower and taking my time. I actually timed myself at 4 minutes, which is lightning fast compared to shaving with a straight razor.Regarding the smoothness of the shave, it is a little smoother than sandpaper. So perhaps it is as low as a one-direction straight razor shave…but not quite as smooth as a 15-20 minute, full on, straight razor shave; if that makes any sense. Ha ha!Cleaning is easy, flip the little blades open and rinse. Voila. Also, while shaving, there is no mess. I have always used a safety razor since my days in college but got tired of the old-man, bald-on-top, fringed-sidewalls look, so went for the bowling-ball cut. And after reading lots of reviews, I decided on the AidallsWellup.Here’s the deal: If you’re OK with the look but not the feel, this is a good product for the money. A lot of plastic, not metal parts, so you’re not going to get 100,000 miles out of it. It comes with a lot of attachments that are easy to insert and use for those tiny-crevices and hard-to-get-at areas with the six-bladed, primary head, but I have to admit I only use two of those. The Primary head is nice to use; contours comfortably to the head, face, and neck (and other areas you might want to denude). It and the other attachments are easy to clean under running water. "I've been shaving my head for about a decade, and was getting tired of my old Wahl razor (which also plugged in). After looking at some reviews, I found this one–everything seemed great until I tried to use it.The first time I put this thing on my head, I had to rip it away–I felt tons of tiny little pain points, and I thought for sure something was wrong with the razor, and that it had cut up my head. After checking the mirror–nope. What I did notice is, my slight-longer-than-bald hair was still there. So I experimented; did it again, applying more pressure. Same little "pain spots." After some repeated experimentation, I figured it out: it was literally pulling my hair because the blades were so dull. Huh?I tried taking a piece of hair and just "inserting" it into the razor while it was on. It literally got ripped out of my hand. It did not cut a single piece of hair on my head. I don't even have special hair–it's not tough or thick, nor is it thin and light. The fact that the blades would pull my hair made me believe that either the blades were way too dull, or they were not spinning fast enough.I've never returned an item so fast. This has definitely made me reconsider these head shavers in general, but I think if I try it again, it'll be a name brand version."

Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. Although my scalp hair has receded over the years, my beard is still quite thick and this thing cuts right through it quickly leaving my face smooth and unirritated. Cannot recommend highly enough! Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you're in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won't be disappointed I promise.Elias
I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here's my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision. First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still performing as it did the first day. It's very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform. I've tried many of these head shavers over the last few years with various results. The Pitbull has been the best of them by far and for a few reasons. First, the overall performance. I shave my head every fourth day and have always had issues with these electric razors not being able to pick up the hair on the very back of my head, where it still grows in relatively thick. The Pitbull doesn't seem to struggle nearly as much to actually pick up and cut the hair there. Second – Ease of cleaning. Because the whole blade assembly pops off, it makes it very easy to rinse out the heads. Others i've tried that only flip open and don't easily detach are much more difficult to clean. The worst offender of this was the Freedom grooming razor. That one had 4 separate heads to open and then a center head that is supposed to unlock and open but the whole cleaning process took almost as long as the shave. Third: Hair storage. There is plenty of space under the blades to shave your entire head, even with four days of growth, without needing to stop and empty it. Others i've tried didn't seem to take this into account… again with Freedom Grooming being the worst offender with only a tiny ring of space for hair under each head. I don't want to stop halfway through to clean out the hair. Finally, overall build quality and ergonomics seem spot on. I also like that you can see what percentage of battery you have left instead of just an led light. Overall, this was more than I wanted to spend on a head shaver, but at the end of the day, when it's a product you're going to use hundreds if not thousands of times, it's worth the cost to get something that performs well.Kyle B.
Honest and truly I've been shaving my head with a razor like a knub for the past 2 years dealing with razor burn every two days having my whole head look like I just got attacked by a swarm of angry Hornets. I brush my teeth and shave my head every morning. It takes me less time to shave my head than it does to brush my teeth. Extremely easy to maintain. Multiple shaving heads available unlike other brands. Super super easy to clean. And the best part you don't have to worry about some flesh eating bacteria that's living on your razor blade entering your body from a tiniest Little knick that will eat half of the skin off your head. And along those lines you don't have to worry about slipping wrong position of the blade. Just rub this skull conforming device around your head for just a few seconds and you're good to go. And the cool thing is at the end of the day when you got a little 5:00 shadow on your head going on and makes you look a little bit more rugged and that much more dashing and handsome. It’s awesome. I accepted my inevitable baldness two years ago but never out thought into how to truly shave my head—-like many, I just used my cheap electric razor…which I thought worked fine, until I discovered this amazing tool! I shave my head in like three minutes instead of fifteen, and there’s zero hair on the floor/bathtub after because this thing catches all the hair. Best of all, my head is incredibly smooth—like honestly, I had no idea my head could feel so smooth. I used to have little cuts and flakes on my head but this thing smoothed them all out. There’s no flakes, no hair, just smooth bald skin. It doesn’t hurt my head at all. However, I’ve been disappointed by how it irritates my neck. I have very sensitive skin below my chin and each time I’ve used this shaver there, it results in red scarred skin and razor burn/bumps that hurt. Never on my head, just the neck. I may later buy the blade they sell for sensitive skin to try that (I really wish that could have just come standard with the shaver, like I wish I could choose blades instead of only having one option). But until then, I can’t use this below my chin since it breaks out in red bumps and pain—even when I use shaving cream. But that’s only 5% of my shaving need. The other 95%, my head, is shaved masterfully and quickly and painlessly by this shaver. It’s so quick! Loving it. If you shave your head then you need this item. It gives a razor blade cut without the added worry of cuts on your shiny dome. Your head literally looks polished when you are done so if your aren’t into that then this shaver is not for you. They said in the directions it may take some time getting your skin used to it. For me personally it never bothered my head at all in fact it made the bumps clear up. Also in the directions it says clean well during and after use. I do this religiously and so far I’m on my original blades. It did take once or twice to get comfortable using it because it’s kind of top heavy compared to an old two bladed razor but after a couple of uses I was an old hand. Purchased this hoping to find a quick and easy alternative to only shaving with a blade. Couldn’t wait to try it as soon as it was delivered. It far surpassed my expectations in closeness and comfort on every part of my head, UNTIL… I got to the base of my neck… The included Forte blade chewed my neck up in a way I didn’t know was possible with an electric razor. To the point that my shirt collars had blood on them for a few days. After my neck healed up I decided to give it another try in case I was using too much pressure the first time. Unfortunately I experienced the same results on my neck. I didn’t think I had sensitive skin. I shave my head against the grain with a blade a few times a week and never get razor burn. Decided to give this shaver one more try so I purchased the Baron blade for sensitive skin hoping this would solve the issue. Fortunately, it did and I now love the Platinum Pro. Zero pain or discomfort after using the Baron. If you are still on the fence about purchasing, don’t hesitate. Super close shave, very convenient and easy to use. If you think there might be even a slight chance you have sensitive skin though, get the Baron blade. At first I thought this would be a gimmick type of purchase. But instead I was pleasantly surprised how nicely designed and effective this shaver really is. The blades cut with accuracy and are very smooth on my scalp. With small circular motions the hair just disappears. The shave is also much closer than I figured it would be which is a huge plus. The battery life is long and visible with the digital display on top. It's easy to rinse with the included rinse stand and just as easy to access the blade compartment for additional rinsing. The only set back is the cost of replacing the blades. That will cost as much as the shaver in a years time. So it is yet to be determined if I continue to purchase them long term. I bought this item off of TikTok to purchase for my husband for Christmas. It was $65 which I felt was way overpriced but whatever we’ll see if it’s a good razor. So it ended up giving my husband pimples on his face which he never gets and ingrown hairs. So surprise! A month later my account is charged for an an additional $18.75 for which I didn’t authorize. So I dispute the charge on PayPal and they deny is saying it was an authorized charge. So I had to email the company and find out why they charged my account and they proceed to tell me when I purchased the razor I signed up for the monthly membership which mind you I never saw, must have been tiny printing. So they sent me a “ refill” got the razor. When I get it I want to return it bc I never wanted this item. It says they don’t pay for shipping returns and they’ll only take the package if unopened and you have to mark the package “refused” or “return to sender” to be eligible for a 50% refund! Also you have to email them you’re returning the package along with the tracking number. So by the time I do all this I would basically have wasted my time and get back a refund in which I basically spent shipping the item back and the gas spent taking it to the post office! As far the unit and the 5 blade shaving attachment I give it 5 stars but very unhappy with the precision trimmer as I occasionally don't keep shaving everyday living in my van and dealing with heart failure and working full-time . So when the first time came to trim the hair down so the shaver could handle the stubble it made about half an inch cut then went through my hair like a comb . Took it apart everything inside the head looked fine reassemble unit and now just an hour ago I'm at the gym for a shave and shower and trimmer attachment did the same cut for half an inch then acted like a comb again . Underpowered – Bogs down when cutting more than light stubble Pulls hair – Pulled my facial hair constantly. Got to the point I was timid to pull it across my face. Locks up – If you don't clean it constantly it will go into a lock mode and it will force you to clean it. Problem is after you rinse it out, the motor won't start back up. It will still stay locked in cleaning mode. I had to bang it on the counter to finally release the motor. Fair product. I was excited to use it as soon as i got it and it did a reasonable job. 5 days later i went to use it again only to find that it is not working. Still has substantial charge and the brush works, but some mechanism in the actual shaver has caused the blades to not spin. I will be upgrading to a different brand/model as i do love the concept, but sadly the Barbasol was defective and not worth a second chance.MattW
