It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. One of my favorite things Ive ever bought. Its so easy to use. I absolutely love it. I love that I can use my own cloths on it instead of purchasing the expensive pads. It does come with 3. My only complaints are I wish the hose detached and it would be nice if there was a safety switch so I could lock the trigger so my 2 year old cant mess with it. I have tile floors only in a few rooms of my house and used to use a steam mop to clean them. The hassle of steam mopping meant that I didn’t get around to cleaning them as often as I should, so I decided to go back to basics and try a spin mop with this Method cleaner and I’ve been really happy with the results. Two of the rooms are visible from a staircase – meaning I can get a great eye-level view of any scum on the ground as I go up and down the stairs. Since using this Method cleaner I’ve noticed a marked difference in the cleanliness of the floors. It obviously helps that I’m actually mopping, but it really cleans any spills very well. In a bathroom that often had marks from lotion and hair products that the steam mop couldn’t touch I now see shining floors every day! It also smells very, very good. Although I'm still not crazy about some of Method's ingredient choices, I really love how well this product works and how time-saving it is compared to other methods. I typically use water, vinegar and some essential oils on our faux wood plank vinyl and stone tile, and occasionally some dish soap for rougher days, along with a Rubbermaid Reveal Mop several times a week. Once a month, I do the same, only with our Mopnado for a deeper cleaning. However, I feel that this product gets or floors just a touch cleaner than homemade, or even many conventional, floor cleaners. I occasionally use this as directed (squirting directly) when the floor needs a lot of help, typically when our Instant Pot (a.k.a Magic Cauldron) spews whatever deliciousness it holds while quick releasing, but I find that directly squirting can sometimes leave a slight residue. Otherwise, I usually prefer to dilute this in the Rubbermaid Reveal mop bottle, using about a 1/4 cup or less and filling the rest with warm water to spray as I mop, which works great, doesn't leave residue, and it stretches out the product more while diluting some of the ingredients I'm not too keen on. Best of all, I love the Lemon Ginger scent, which I was worried about since Method's almond-scented products are way too overpowering for me. I plan to try Spearimint Sage as well. Between the fresh yet light lemon scent that's not at all like Pinesol, and the effectiveness and ease-of-use of the product, it's enough that I feel more motivated to mop more regularly. LOVE this hard floor cleaner! My favorite scent is the Ginger Yuzu, I can see why they're often sold out of this scent. I had to try it after reading all the reviews and one woman wrote "she loves the scent of Ginger Yuzu so much, she finds herself wanting to mop the floors more often" and I thought, I could use some of that motivation! So happy I tried it, it's definitely my go to floor cleaner. Just squirt and mop!! I have dark, laminate flooring and other cleaners leave behind mop marks and residue but not this cleaner, it simply leaves behind a nice, clean, matte finish just the way I like it! This product was recommended by a grout restoration company that did some work at our home to prepare it for sale. I had white tile and white grout and even with careful routine cleaning the grout discolored over time. I've cleaned it in the past with every type of product imaginable, including products with bleach. After the recommendation by the grout restoration company I used this cleaner and it worked wonders. The grout looked like new and discolorations I thought were permanent wiped up cleanly on the cloth. If I could give this no stars, I would. This product leaves HORRIBLE build up. We have spent the last month on our hands and knees scraping build up off my wood floors with pizza cutters. I’ve actually been using this for years before I discovered Grove. I have a house full of antique hardwood floors, so not sealed. I use the Bona mop system for daily cleaning because it was recommended by flooring experts. But, when a deeper cleaning is needed, that product falls short. Method floor cleaner for wood has enough safe, gentle surfactants to get the floor really clean, especially if there’s a really dirty spot or some mysterious sticky spill. The almond scent is not overpowering. It’s not my favorite scent. But, it’s not objectionable. I do truly wish Method made refills since the plastic squirt bottle would be easily reusable. I’m very impressed with this product! Although I didn’t notice a smell (I don’t care about the scent part), this cleaned my old imperfect wood floors fantastically! I used to use Murphy’s wood oil cleaner but have seen a lot of negative comments about their new formula so I figured I would try this and I’m impressed! When I lived in a house with almost all hardwood floors there was a lot of sweeping and mopping involved to keep them looking good. As a fan of method products and environmentally-friendly items in general I immediately bought and started using method's Almond Squirt and Mop Hardwood Floor cleaner in conjunction with their now-defunct O-Mop. Yes this squirt and mop liquid was environmentally friendly and smelled lovely. Yes it was easy enough to find at the local Target and even in some grocery stores. That being said it was good really only for a quick touch-up or spot-clean. I still had to get on my hands and knees with a cloth to remove any type of dried stain. It also didn't leave the floors with any type of long-lasting shine like Murphy's Oil Soap did. Eventually I stopped buying this method hardwood floor cleaner and returned to Murphy's Oil Soap. I’ve used Bona on my laminate & ceramic tile for 15 + years & was always happy with the look & feel of the floors after cleaning, but not any more! I bought theBona hard surface antibacterial formula & it leaves my floors sticky, streaky, & dull! I have read the directions several times, tried using less product& rinsed out the microfiber cleaning pad constantly. I gave this product lots of opportunity to shine, but it doesn’t work! have to rinse the floors with plain water to get the residue off. So I ask myself “why am I still using this product?” No more! I do not recommend the antibacterial formula! Now I need to research how to get this product off my floors & start over! I bought the96 oz bottle with a spray bottle, that never worked! The Bona brand floor cleaner has been a standard in our house since we got the wood floors put it a few years back. It was recommended by the installer so that was an easy buy. Well, now that they came out with the Bona PowerPlus Antibacterial Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner, I jumped at the chance to use this. The main reason is that it's antibacterial and that's a must have with 4 kids and a cat. The house is a mish mosh of different floors and being able to use one cleaner for all of them is a winner. It's easy to use, either a straight stream or spray on the floor. The only negative is they recommend you wait 10 minutes for the antibacterial solution to do it's job before moping it up. I can wait, there's always something to do . After moping the floors, I just toss the microfiber mop pad in the washer and it's clean and ready for the next use. It kills 99.9 % of germs, that's a lot and it is good for this Corona virus we're dealing with now. Wish I could find a Bona all purpose cleaner, I'd buy stock in the company. This brand is really good, cleans without scrubbing and I feel good knowing that the surface our feet are on is sanitized. You can buy a large bottle and refill the sprayer, great money saver..trlmrc

I figured I would try this because I liked the regular Bona pretty well. We have pets and I thought this formula might keep the floors cleaner. It does an ok job of cleaning, but your house will smell like a hospital for hours afterward. Even after opening the windows, my daughter was complaining about the smell. I have been using it for about two months and noticed some sticky build-up on my vinyl floors. Turns out it is from the disinfectant used in the formula. I tried this product in the utility room and adjoining bathroom used to enter from outdoors. It worked wonderfully on the vinyl tiles on the floor. Road tar often gets tracked in and is nearly impossible to get off. I let it soak a bit then scrubbed with the machine and presto- gone. Also used the solution with a hand brush on the bathroom tile counter. The yellowed grout is sparkling again. Directions How to: mix 1/2 cup (4 oz) of Aunt Fannie's floor cleaner vinegar wash concentrate into 2 gallons of water. Soak mop head in solution as appropriate. Repeat as necessary. Haziness or cloudiness with our formulations will often occur naturally. While vinegar can tackle a majority of the household, it's important to test first on an inconspicuous spot. Enjoy!

I really love this cleaner, I got the lemon scent and it smells really great. I love that it doesn’t smell of chemicals. We have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidents on our wood floors (misses pee pads) and this cleaner is great at mopping that up. Unfortunately for the price I think the bottle is just too small. I use it nearly every day on my floors and this little bottle is not going to last a month. When I can buy a large bottle of vinegar for a few dollars I’m not sure I can justify spending $12 on something so small. If the bottle was larger or the price was cheaper I’d be buying this all the time. Plus the way my husband pours in cleaner, I nearly had a heart attack. I have light pine colored laminate flooring and everything I have used in the past has left a sticky residue or a streaky finish. This product did NOT leave a residue and left a shiny, clean (non-streaked) finish! I am so pleased! I had read some of the negative reviews about smell and am happy to report the only smell I could detect was fresh and clean (I bought the lemon kind!). I diluted 1 oz in 1 gallon of warm water and it made a wonderfully pleasing sudsy bucket of cleaner that dried quickly and to a perfect finish. It also worked beautifully on glazed ceramic bathroom tile floor and left it so shiny, I thought the floor was still wet after it was dry. I am very happy with this purchase after one use. I wanted it for deep cleaning a shower stall with hard to get to areas. I have not used all of the brushes yet but I assume I will find uses for them. The results were stellar. The shower grout looked like new. I took off one star, due to the fact that it is so powerful, it can get away from you. Perhaps it needs a better grip on the handle. The only other suggestion I would have for the manufacturer is that a storage bag for the heads would have been handy. I am also curious if there will be a way to replace the heads when they wear out. I imagine that will happen fairly soon due to the power of the machine. Even with my few complaints, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I just got mine today. I ordered it because I have a composite floor in my garage that is very difficult to clean. I've tried every possible kind of mop and scrub brush to remove the ground in tire tracks, but it never did a good job because I don't have the muscle power to scrub hard enough or push a heavy scrubbing machine around. I was surprised at how lightweight this is. It only weighs 4 lbs, assembles in just a few moments, charges quickly and does a very good job. I don't know what the total run time is, but I spent about an hour cleaning the floor and it was still going strong. It's tall enough that you can stand up straight while you clean and adjust the angle of the bottom to suit your purpose and your height.

I wiped it up with towels. The results were amazing. Cleaned out of the little "pits" in my floor tile and the grout areas.
