I realky love the smell of this conditioner and it works amazing on my oily hair. I only use this on the bottom half of my hair since the top of my head produces too much oil. I received this product for free in exchange for a review. It was super easy to assemble and use. Batteries are not included. I had a lot of fun customizing the different hair extensions by drawing on them. Make sure to color on top of something like cardboard cuz you can draw outside the lines or it leaks through. I would like to have had a variety of extension lengths like a really long one, thicker ones, and more marker colors. I feel like the markers might dry out fast, so I tried to conserve them by not pressing down very hard. They stay clipped in my hair all day. The machine is very loud. The curling part is a time commitment as it takes 2 hours for the curls to dry and set. The curls I tried to do came out small when I wanted them to be chunkier. It did hold the curl though. I overall really liked this product. I would consider buying their add on refill packages.
My 4.5 year old daughter really liked the Hollywood Hair Extension Maker. Since it is designed for ages 8 , she did need a lot of help using this product. I was surprised that the extension maker was much smaller than it looks on the box. It comes with 12 different extensions. Some already have designs and some are blank so that you can use the markers to draw or write on them first. I would have given this a higher rating, but we tried using the heatless curling iron to curl the extensions and it didn't hold a curl even though we let it sit for the entire 2 hours. I received the Cool Maker Hollywood Hair Extension Maker today and my kids (8, 6, 4) tore into it. The idea (turning ribbons into colorful hair extensions) was too much for them to handle. When we opened the package they were in love with how many options of ribbons there were. I needed to help with the set up and loading it for the first time, but after that, the 8 and 6 year old were able to do it themselves (and they helped the 4 year old). I got this for free but this would be the perfect gift for that age range (8-10) where it seems like all they want are crafts, and this was as hands free from my perspective as it gets. They always ask to play salon and usually want to make nailpolish or soap, so I can see this becoming part of our normal salon/sleepover craft that doesn't involve much mess.
