I received this product for free from Influenster and Dr. Berg Haircare in exchange for my honest review of the product. I tried using the product several times, alternating how much of the serum I used each time. I did not like the feeling of the serum in my hair, and it seemed difficult to get wash out. The serum felt very oily and greasy feeling while in my hair and it took several washes to get it out. The instructions say to massage it into your scalp for 10-15 minutes. I’m not sure about others, but there was no way I was going to spend 10-15 minutes massaging it in. I have used other serums and never had to massage it in for that long. Okay so first off, the directions are a bit of a turn off. Massage it for 10-15 mins on your scalp? That’s a long time. I did maybe 3 and that was enough for me. Next the scent, not my favorite but bearable. The feel, well…. It’s oil so I expected it to feel oily but this coated my skin and I had to wash my hands twice pretty thoroughly and they still felt a bit oily afterwards. Didn’t really sink in, just sits on top. DO NOT use this product more than twice a week. Before using this product, I should have looked at the note on their website. Seeking the great reviews I decided to purchase from this brand for the first time getting the growth drops, shampoo, and conditioner. Shampoo is insanely liquidy which is not mentioned anywhere including a skngle review but once actually managing to get it fromyour hand to to you hair trying to not spill, it is a great product and doesn't strip my hair instantly like most keratin or protein shampoos. I apply this oil to my roots and pull through to the ends about 3 to 4 times a week before bed and wash out in the morning. The smell is not the greatest so I added about 20 drops of lavender EO to the mix, which works well because lavender helps with sleeping so, win win lol. I wash out with Organix Sea moisture SH/Cond. My hair is thin, straight and light blonde, and highly over processed. I was afraid overuse would make my hair build up and become greasy. At first I noticed my hair was softer and well nourished, but now that its been about 3 weeks I have about one and a half inches of growth and my hair feels thicker and not built up at all.
