The sound quality is amazing and the 8 subwoofer is mind blowing. The bass this little box puts out is incredible I have always owned Bose systems and this system absolutely blows away the Bose system I paid over a thousand dollars for. You will not go wrong with this system. Dont waste your money on expensive over priced systems. This will get the job done and then some. We just moved in to our new house and I’m finally getting my home theater set up. These are NOT wireless speakers! Each speaker needs to be wired to a separately-purchased amplifier. There is no power input on the speakers to set them on the side of the room without running wires along the floor or ceiling. In my open room, I can’t use these without laying a throw rug across the floor alongside the sofa. I have no idea of the quality of sound because they’re not usable.Jburke

Excellent speakers, perfect for a small to medium room (or maybe even a larger room, depending on your amp/receiver). The subwoofer seems small but it's more than enough, but maybe for a bigger room you'll need a second subwoofer. Totally recommended if this is the first screening room/area that you're building. You can get a separate pair of speakers either for the height/atmos channels or front speakers. I'm using it with the Sony STR-DH790 receiver, perfect if you don't want to spend over $1K on the audio setup altogether.tonyojeda

Extremely happy with this purchase. Am I very particular on what I spend my money on, and usually spend days if not weeks researching products before I buy them. I don't like having gizmos and gadgets that are smarter than they need to be, so having voice assistant features, extra connectivity options, etc, was not a priority for me. I wanted a no-frills 5.1 sound system that was geared towards a wide range of music and movies, not just thundering bass. These speakers have a wonderfully neutral sound, but can still really make the living room shake if you want them to. A lot of easy to access sound options to fine tune, the UX is well thought out, the remote looks high end, and I find myself using the dialogue enchantment more than I thought I would. Very well implemented feature. I would consider this a consumer entry level sound bar that would give anything in the prosumer category a run for its money. With what this setup offers, I would stop looking here. Not worth it to spend any more money, unless your jumping right up to the high end stuff.Felipe

This surround sound setup, while not super impressive and lacking Atmos support, is really quite incredible for its price, especially when on sale. The sound bar alone is better than most in its price bracket, offering a center channel for better voice clarity. The best part, though, are the rear channel speakers and subwoofer, offering a true 5.1 surround sound experience. Whether you're getting into home theater audio for the first time or just want an affordable movie theater experience, you really can't beat the price of this kit. It's easy to set up, the wireless subwoofer and connected rear speakers pair with no hassle, and I haven't had an issue with them disconnecting at all. Rear channels can be mounted on the wall with the included brackets. The remote has plenty of features and is easy to adjust with, thank to its illuminated LCD screen. I had the older model (VIZIO – SmartCast 5.1 Channel Sound) and sadly the bar broke so i decided to get a newer one. I would love to say how awesome the upgrade is but then i would be lying. This V-Series has been nothing but a pain in the butt. From getting it setup to wall-mounting and just down right disappointing sound. Out of the box the default sound is almost as bad as my Tv audio. After hours of tweaking and changing settings I finally got it to a half decent sound but by no means Good. The wall-mount setup is like 2 steps back from the older model. Once mounted you can not easily remove it. This is a big problem when needing to add cables. The so called Virtual:X that they even place in the title is completely useless. The Virtual:X does nothing but muddy the sound and make things less clear. The Vizio Mobile app no longer works and there is no way that after hours and hours of looking you can connect the bar to wifi. This should not cost more money and have less features. Having the old soundbar connected to Wifi made things simple and easy. Like changing setting on my phone or updating the firmware with 1 click. I know this seems like a good buy for the money but please save your money and find a better system.Kyla666

I can't express how disappointed I am with this product except to say that I got what I paid for. I bought this product based on positive third-party reviews as well as previous positive experiences with Monoprice products and customer service. I had high hopes for this system, but based on my experiences with it, I feel very let down. As others have mentioned, the subwoofer buzzes. I am now on my THIRD replacement subwoofer from Monoprice. Not only does it still buzz, but now it has developed a clicking noise. This can be quite disconcerting (and disturbing) when listening to a lovely piece of music that goes soft. The same for quiet moments in movies. The extraneous noise from the subwoofer completely and utterly ruins the experience. This is all when there is no input and my amp is powered off. Oh, speaking of the amp being powered off, this subwoofer is supposed to automatically power on and off based on input from the amp this doesn't work either. Also, in working with Monoprice tech support, I was asked to try the speaker in another power outlet – no change. In fact, when I bought my home, it was split into two apartments, so I have two separate electric services coming in. No matter where the subwoofer is plugged in or what it is connected to it makes these irritating noises. I'm not sure what recourse I have at this point. Monoprice refuses to refund my money and the 1-year warranty expires in March 2015. So very disappointed . . . PROS: Price (but the cons outweigh the pros.) I've been using this system for about 6 months now, and am mostly happy with it. The satellites are reasonably small, easy to mount, and sound great. As many other reviews mention, the sub-woofer is definitely the weak point in this system. Because of many of the reviews here that I read before purchasing, I never bothered trying the "Auto Off" function and have always left it fully On. When it works, it sounds great, and I'm quite happy with it. A couple months after setting it up there was a period of about a week where it would hum, pop, crackle, etc. in a very disconcerting way and I was afraid that it had succumbed to the same problems that plague so many other reviewers here. I unplugged it, and left it unplugged for a few days while I debated purchasing a replacement. After deciding that I really didn't want to spend the money for a replacement, I plugged it back in and to my surprise, it worked great again! It has been fine for 3 months now, which I"m glad for, but there's always a nagging feeling that it could die at any time again. Great value bundle if you need all of the speakers. Sub has more than enough thump for small and medium rooms. Center and front speakers a little undersized, but they work well with the sub and the system delivers a nice theater surround if you set up the speakers properly. Very easy to install- straight forward old-fashioned style wired stereo and sub, nothing wireless (no interference!), no proprietary wires needed. Bluetooth pairs easily with one device at a time. System is recognized with no setup needed by Roku smart TV. Get the bundle if you need a complete system with all of the speakers, hassle free with easy setup. The included front and center speakers are serviceable, but if you already have better ones, then consider getting the standalone receiver instead.adfel

I just want to sayOMG! This thing is amazing. If you like going to the movies and enjoy the great sound then you’ll want this in your home. The sound makes it seem like you at the theater. Do not be fooled, this is an entry level home theater in a box solution. This is a $300 Yamaha RX-V385 receiver paired with speakers and a subwoofer that would cost $200-250. Do not expect audiophile quality sound just because it is from Yamaha. The sound quality is good enough from its price point. The subwoofer requires an active power source, a nice touch, in case the speakers are not to your liking. There is no output for a "B" set of speakers, which does bring the cost of entry down. There are also no audio streaming services built in, you must stream from your phone. Yamaha has a step up model that includes streaming for Pandora, SXM, etc. The jump is $150. If this is going in a man cave or the kids game room???? I installed this system in my friend's rec-room at his vacation rental. It filled the space well. I really did not tweak the sound at all after the setup mic. Everything sounded "fine" out of the box. But a bigger room would overwhelm the speakers otherwise. As far as video, you may see there are yellow RCA inputs for standard definition video signals. Don't let that fool you, at all. The receiver doesn't convert analog video for the HDMI/ARC signal. So if you are looking to use this receiver to hook up a VCR, you will need to buy an analog to digital converter box, which are roughly $15. The other work around is if your TV still has an RCA input, you can hook the "monitor out" to that. The remote feels kind of cheap, but then again, many remotes now days feel cheap compared to the wonderful ones of the 1990s. I tried out the FM radio tuner. It is hooked to an amplified TV antenna. The Yamaha tuner performed better than the Onkyo FM tuner upstairs, hooked to the same antenna. Sony's kit got over looked by me, is the fact their receivers use a proprietary connector and just a wire for their FM connection. That setup would render FM reception to nothing in the rural area blocked by a mountain. I saw no degradation of quality on a Ultra 4K disc between direct wiring the player to the TV versus passing through the receiver.MPP80

Remodeled the bedroom turning it into a bedroom/den. Purchased a Klipsch Sound Bar 40 with wireless subwoofer for the bedroom and had an old Klipsch HD Theater 300 system I installed in the living room that I have had a great experience with. I snagged up a Harmon Kardon 1610S reciever for the new space and wanted a little more sound for my front speakers and center channel. Got with the folks with Klipsch and they packaged me out with a set of R-41M to replace my old front speakers and an R-34C center channel to replace the center channel. I couldn't be happier. Have had a wonderful experience with tech support, they were very informative and patient working with me on optimizing the settings to get them paired into my system and the sound quality leaves nothing to be desired. Will most likely upgrade my old subwoofer for a little more punch and then I should be good to go. The sound quality is phenomenal, the sounds envelope the room and are so crisp and clear. Finally upgraded my surround system to Atmos and these speakers were the final pieces of the puzzle. I up-fires these towards the ceiling and it changed everything. Now with movies with an Atmos track you can hear the environmental effects. Raining in a forest? You can hear the rai falling from above. Passing aircraft approach from behind, fly over your head and then appear on screen to exit stage right. These speakers reproduce those overhead sounds flawlessly. Whether its high frequency sounds or deep bass for impacts, the speakers repoduce these sounds flawlessly when activated. These are perfect for smaller rooms because of their size and works well with simple Atmos setups (I’m only running a 5.1.2 Setup) But I dont doubt these speakers could handle a larger room with a more complex setup. Such a great addition to my system. Has great sound quality. Sadly, just not exactly what I am looking for from my system. That's not to say anything negative about the actual quality of this speaker. That is a personal observation and buyer-specific to my choice. Simply a preference on my part. I could use them and still have a first quality experience and never miss a beat. It most definitely is a great speaker. The price was on point at a 50% sale. I wasn't finished paying for my previous floor speakers when these went on sale. Klipsch sale speakers have a reputation and sometimes are hard to get when on sale. They do sell out fast. So I went ahead and grabbed them while I could. It does what it's supposed to do. It's attractive and blends well with my existing system. Has the quality one would expect from Klipsch. For the short time, I have had them I'm going to upgrade to the RP-500SA. Only because I want that little extra oomph from the slightly larger speaker. If you are looking for Atmos speakers this could serve your system very well. I am just an average Joe. Not by any stretch a tech whiz. Kinda like the guy next door type. I do know enough to tell what might be missing in the sound I'm after. I just know these speakers are giving me exactly what I want from my system. For too many years I had to take the lower quality systems simply because I couldn't afford anything better. Now, I started watching the sales offerings. I know what this system costs when they aren't on sale. I kept an eye out for the "open Box" offers and over the course of a few months was able to assemble just what I want. Don't be deterred by the open box offers. Best Buy stands 100% behind their open box. If you find yourself unhappy with your choice they will gladly accept it back. You buy a box that hasn't been opened and you will remove it from the carton anyway when you get it home. So don't let a box determine if you have a good system or not. The box has no sound quality at all. The item inside is first-rate and comes with the same manufacturers' warranty. Imperfections however slight are clearly stated. Rarely any obvious difference in the quality. I do buy an open box item when I can. For me, being on a budget, it translates into savings. That said when you can save $50 – $100 or sometimes more on one speaker that savings can put you into another speaker you may not be ordinarily able to afford on the same budget. I hope this helps those of you like me. They are budget confined yet want something a little better than what they previously had. This was a steal first of all. we moved into a new house and even though the media room is larger I thought I needed something smaller. I swapped out Definitive 2002, 2 BP6B, I have 2 450's that I couldn't use in the previous room which made it only a 3.1. I'm not the least big sorry. A Bose system couldn't have done this. I know, I own one. The sound is very crisp and truly encompasses the full range. They ate hooked up to a Sony STR-DN1080 rated at 165w/ch RMS. If you like great sound but are not a fan of huge speakers, this is your system.Pappy

Amazing sound. I have this 5.1 setup paired with Denon and the sound is absolutely mesmerizing. The sub is smaller than I expected but it is LOUD. The speakers are definitely bigger than I thought they would be. I have the speakers wired with 16 AWG and the rear speakers are tied to the Rocketfish wireless speaker kit. It seems to be working fine. I do think it is a bit hefty on price for a 5.1 system. Granted it is DefTech, I didn't mind paying for it but for some, the price may be a big factor.SMAS

The Polk Audio MagniFi Max SR Home Theater Surround Sound Bar is a complete all-in-one surround sound system that comes with everything you need to greatly improve your TV sound experience – it even comes with HDMI and optical input sound cables. Well packed in a funky looking box. The soundbar is about 43” long, but very slim and sleek looking, and it has all the connectivity inputs in the back and control buttons discreetly on top. The system also includes an 8” powered subwoofer and two satellite/surround speakers. Both the sub and the rear speakers connect wirelessly to the soundbar, all they need is power, so that makes their placement very easy. The initial setup is very easy, just plug-in the soundbar, the subwoofer and the surround speakers and turn the system on, which will automatically pair all components together. If for some reason there is a glitch in your setup process, the sub and satellites have a small button you can press to pair with the soundbar and a green LED light will be lit when connected. There are 3 HDMI inputs, one HDMI ARC input, as well as optical in and headphone jack AUX input, as well as an RJ-45 Ehternet jack, which is a nice to have if you don’t want to rely on a potentially slower/less reliable Wi-Fi connection. The network connection is used for firmware updates and Chrome casting music from your other compatible devices. Since Chromecast is built-in, you can use Google Home for the setup and voice commands. The soundbar has a row of small LEDs that are used as visual indicators for power on, volume level, input type, bluetooth and chromecast connection, etc. I would have loved it if it had an on-screen menu and indicators that you could see on your TV, but may only be available on much more expensive setups. The remote control is pretty sleek looking and has quite a few buttons, you can control the full array of soundbar features, especially volume, bass and voice levels, surround speakers volume and balance, input source, 3-preset sound modes and basic playback controls for Chromecast music. It also works out of the box with most major TV brands and has an Infrared learning option, if it doesn’t automatically recognize your TV. It worked instantly with my 4 year old Samsung TV. It also worked with a Sharp Roku TV that will get this soundbar as a permanent fixture. The default sound levels coming out of such a compact system is quite loud – impressive. I found myself having to turn the volume down quite frequently. The small-ish 8” subwoofer provides plenty of kick to satisfy most movie buffs. I was quite pleased with the surround sound field that was very crisp and more pronounced than my Yamaha receiver with much larger 5.1 discrete speakers. All in all this is a solid mid-range sound system that would make a great addition to any TV, especially in smaller to medium sized rooms. Nice to haves for an upgraded model: Smartphone App that could be used instead of the remote control. On-screen menu that could display a numerical sound level, input selection, etc.SUHD

Selecting the Polk MagniFi MAX SR 5.1 Maximum Performance Sound Bar System was in part based on Polk’s long-standing reputation for excellent audio equipment, and largely based on the impressive specifications for the system. Unfortunately, it proved to be problematic. Not because the sound bar does not sound good, but rather, because the system has flaws which have been documented since at least 2018. I was initially very impressed by many aspects of the MagniFi MAX system, however the problems discovered during initial installation were frustrating. I only learned of the long history of these issues after I received the sound bar, encountered the problems, and in researching them discovered on Polk’s forums several years of user complaints pertaining to these same issues. The MagniFi MAX is comprised of a sleek sound bar which is 43” wide, just over 2” high and just over 3.75” deep. The sound bar has 7 drivers comprised of 4 – 1” x 3” oval drivers, 2 – 0.75” round tweeters and 1 – 1” round midrange driver for the center channel. The 120VAC to low voltage power supply is an inline unit, with a 50” low voltage cord to the sound bar, and a 59” line voltage cord with a conventional plug to the AC outlet. This avoids a “wall wart” power supply which would block multiple taps on a surge protector. The rear panel of the sound bar is equipped with 1 HDMI ARC output, 3 – HDMI (HDCP 2.2) inputs with 4k HDR pass-through, 1 optical input, 1 – 3.5mm analog, stereo auxiliary input an Ethernet port (RJ-45), and a USB for maintenance purposes. The top panel controls are flush mounted and inconspicuous. The front panel LED indicator lamps are concealed behind the front grill cloth, and are only visible when illuminated. There are additional LED indicators on the rear panel, as well. The compact remote control has a high-quality appearance and feel, provides a full complement of system controls and audio controls, and via CEC functionality, worked with my Sony smart TV without codes or learning. The remote control measures approximately 1.75” wide x 5.75” long x 0.75” thick, and is powered by two, AAA batteries which were included. The MagfniFi MAX system also includes a wireless, Bluetooth connected subwoofer with a down-firing 8” round driver and a conventional line power cord to the internal power supply. The subwoofer measures just over 12” wide, 14.5” high and just over 14.5” deep. Rounding out the system are 2 wireless, Bluetooth connected surround sound speakers each of which is equipped with a 3” round driver. The surround speaker power is supplied by “wall wart” power supplies with 9.5’ long low voltage cables for each speaker. Each compact surround speaker measures 7.75” wide x 4.5” high x 3.5” deep. The surround speakers are marked “L” and “R” for their respective channels. All of the components have a sleek and modern appearance and a solid and substantial feel to them. Every cable which might possibly be needed is also included. A 6.5’ HDMI cable, 6’ optical cable, 6’ 3.5mm plug auxiliary input cable, wall mounting brackets, wall mount templates and batteries for the remote control are all included. Polk also includes a printed User Manual, which most companies no longer provide. The MagniFi MAX system is rated at 180 watts RMS power, 400 watts peak music power. Wi-Fi is dual band (2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz) 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC. The frequency response specification is 35Hz – 20kHz. The system includes three sound modes with selectable preset EQ settings for Movies, Music and Sports, as well as Polk VoiceAdjust Technology to enhance dialog, and Polk SDA Surround Technology to create an enhanced spatial sound experience. True 5.1 channel Dolby Digital and DTS are supported. Speaker setup could not possibly be any simpler or faster. Once the sound bar is connected to the television HDMI ARC port via the provided HDMI cable, and all three satellite speakers are connected to AC power, they automatically pair via Bluetooth. No user interaction whatsoever is needed. Solid green LED lamps on the rear panels of each component confirm active Bluetooth connectivity. The MagniFi MAX must be connected to a Wi-Fi network both for receiving automatically downloaded firmware updates, as well as for enjoying the useful benefits of Chromecast Built-in functionality including wireless streaming from other devices and sources, and for sound bar control via the Google Home app. Connecting the MagniFi MAX to Wi-Fi and configuring and using Chromecast Built-in requires the use of the Google Home smartphone app. However, after very extensive efforts consuming many hours, the MagniFi MAX could never be connected to Wi-Fi with the Google Home app, which is the only means of accomplishing that function. During attempts to configure the sound bar with the Google Home app, once the app found the sound bar via Bluetooth and attempted to connect to the Wi-Fi network, it failed and produced an error message that it could not connect. I usually have good luck when it comes to products with reviews about faulty equipment. Unfortunately my luck ran out with this one.

Overpriced at 600 bucks. it has plenty of issues:
– advertised that it connects with google home but it fails to do so
– Because the soundbar does not connect to google home, the firmware cant be updated.
– Popping sound from the surround speakers (specifically the right side, which apparently is a common problem)
– very limited sound adjustments (sometimes I have to turn the volume up really high to get good bass. Otherwise I have to adjust my tv or pc sound settings.)
– Soundbar audio doesnt sound like it's in front you, it sounds like the audio is traveling up. (Could be placement issues on my end, but this is the only sound bar that I have had this issue with)
– To top it off. These problems have been apparent for YEARS and Polk hasnt acknowledged it.

I only bought this because my Vizio 5.1 soundbar surged during a blackout and warranty couldnt cover it. After trying this soundbar, I returned it and bought another vizio. Much better in your face sound, lots of sound setting freedom, and good bass for a subwoofer half the size of the one by Polk. The best part? The vizio is more than half the price for the Polk Magnifi Max SR.Joe Gooderz

Pros: Very happy with these speakers, just what we wanted for Atmos sound. Clear, crisp and cinematic sound. Interestingly, when set up, we watched a couple of older "mono" TV programmes with them and were amazed at the clarity – music was nicely spaced and separated. Purchased these about a week ago and was anxious to get them installed on my new Yamaha receiver. Sound is great and the Atmos speakers really make a difference. My one gripe is the plastic feet that some with the speakers. They are held on with very frail screws. You are warned not to overtighten them and you best heed that warning. Of the 8 screws I installed, 2 of them broke off at the screw head leaving part of the screw stuck in the hole. For the cost and weight of these speakers you would think Klipsch would provide a more robust set of feet.BRW9100

When purchased I decided on the 6inch version instead of the 8inch version simply because my Marantz receiver only puts out 100 watts per channel. Couldn't help to be skeptical with the smaller woofers but when paring with a woofer they do pretty well. Very happy with the clean sound that I get with the R-625FA speakers !Bull62

Took awhile to get these. I was on a wait list for about 3 months with 3 different companies and got lucky one night when it showed available on the Sony website. I bought the sub from best buy. Opened box for $100 off. It was the only one available about 15 miles away. I had random drop outs and scooted the hta9 receiver about a foot further away from my router (which in now about 5 feet apart) and now no drop outs. I get the occasional drop outs when someone walks in between speakers but it is wireless so it makes sense. Deal with it. But so far so good. My living room is pretty big and the hta9 fills the room. The phantom center is the highlight of the system. The dialogue is clear and bright. No more subtitles….. finally. Coming from a traditional atmos 5.1.2 setup with SVS PB200 sub setup, I’ll give this sound system a solid 8. If Sony ever patches and implements an option to adjust tone such as treble etc or even add our own sub then it’ll be 10. I’ll throw in a few more: better volume response (it’s slow/delayed) and an option to increase atmos up firing volume. Until then it’s an 8. These speakers are bright (a tad bit high-pitched). Give us an option to correct it and it’s golden. If you’re coming from a soundbar with wireless sub setup (or soundbar with rears + sub) then it’s a 10. They look great too. Blends in well. Wifey approved. I was on the fence to return these at one point due to the fact there’s minimal tonality adjustment options. The reasoning that tilt the scales to keep them were cosmetics and wireless capabilities. My wife would not want my traditional floor standing speakers in our new home living room. Let me start off by saying that i have a traditional 5.1.4 setup in my bedroom and this thing is impressive! I watched alot of 4K blurays and never have i heard immersion like I am with the sony. I’ve compared this to many soudbars(Sonos Arc + Sub & Ones, Sennheiser Ambeo, Q990B, Bose 900 w/ sub and surrounds). None of them come close to this with the level of immersion however the Ambeo is a beast and does a fair job for being a soudbar. If the speakers arent too far apart the phantom center does an excellent job, i have them about 8 ft from each other. The atmos is so good and very close to a proper atmos setup. The roar in jurrasic park will send chills down your spine. The moment batman starts up his batmobile in new batman movie will put a smile on your face. Dune will completely make your jaw drop. Hereditary will have you looking over your shoulder.. and so on. The level of immersion this system provides blows me away, i havent had any disconnect issues and it’s worked great so far. HOWEVER, if you buy this system make sure you get the SW5 sub, if you fail to do so you will not have the same experience. With that being said, I highly recommend this for movies 100%.iimprovisee

I orignally purchased the A7000 along with sw3 sub and rs5 rear speakers. My living room is a open layout connected to the dining area. While I enjoyed this setup with great center cannel dialogue and rear atmos speakers, it wasn’t as immersive as i expected which I belive is due to my open room layout(understand sound bars will never provide true front separation) Missing a side wall to reflect acoustics doesn’t fully utilize the A7000’s abilities. Those with smaller rooms and side walls could have a better experience. After much research, HTA9 seems to fit the part, better front separation. While, these systems can never replace a true HT Setup, it really serves its purpose and provide more flexibility to without wires. Sound quality is fantastic and with the right content, you really feel the full immersion. It’s as if you are wearing a headset. The phantom center does a great job at simulating the center channel but this would be the only negative. Ive paired this with my A80J as the center channel which is certainly helps with center dialogue. This will be personal preference based on how it sounds. Between the sw3 and sw5 sub, the latter provides deeper bass and wider range to suit your needs. SW3 at level 10-12 is equivalent to a 3-4 on the SW5. If you live in a small apartment, recommend the SW3, other wise go for the Sw5.Rich

A good set speakers. The reason for four stars is that one of the two packages is missing the rubber feet for the speaker. Contacted the seller (World Wide Stereo). But at end, WWS said that Klipsch would not send the missing rubber feet and WWS wouldn't help either.Jingshan

These speakers sound amazing. They do not need a lot of power to achieve superb clarity and detail. I was amazed with them as rear surrounds in a 5.2 setup on movies, but they also shine while using them in a 5.2 stereo setup for music as well. They can handle everything my Denon 3300x can throw at them, while still staying detailed and clear.mordrid1010

Speakers sound decent. Makes sure the room is small if you want them in the corners. the company only has that size interconnect cable about 8-10 feet the bass isn't as deep as i like it for the subwoofers but there's a audio output if you want to add one.MrSmithJR

First off, I need to explain that the primary reason I bought these is for music production and editing. Not gaming or movie watching. I also do almost all of my "fine tuning" with Sennheiser HD 25's. That said, It's more than adequate for my purposes in that after I do my production and editing, I can get a good feel for what the public will hear when I do my DJ gigs by playing the tracks on these speakers. The biggest reason I like these is because of the way the control module is set up. All my IO jacks are in the back of an IP rack mount computer. It's a long way back there and a real pain to access This control module allows me hands on adjustment at the front of the computer with a headphone jack. In other words, I no longer have to stretch my headphone cable to the back of the computer, and I can control everything by hand adjustment or remote control. To me, sound quality is like spaghetti sauce or pizza. What tastes great to one person may only be average to another. The sub woofer is more than capable of reproducing deep bass with a good quality sound. Likewise, the 5 other speakers (left and right rear, left and right front, and center) put out a surprisingly good mid and high end sound. Are they (fill in your personal all time favorite best sounding speakers)? Probably not. I will, however tell you unequivocally that I got a better than average set of speakers at a fair price. Although social media seemed to be all abuzz about these being "all that", I'd say they're "almost all that". To REALLY get "all that" would cost me thousands! Happy listening!TheMadDoctor

As an Online Video Editor (Finishing Artist) working remotely, I was looking for decent speakers to evaluate and do lite mixing of audio for broadcast. I was looking at everything from Adam to Yamaha, Genelec and others for a good surround set up. This system was pretty easy to install and start using almost right away. This was a very inexpensive way to improve what I had for $399. The other systems would've been about $2,000 including a USB DAC. I also sprung for a pair of speaker stands for the rear speakers. The Front and Center speaker are sitting on my desk. Couple of things I'm not a fan of? The speakers have a slight curve in the back and sit angled on a desk or speaker stand. Not bad, but not like the other higher end speakers costing much more. I thought there was a way to adjust the levels of the individual speakers like in a more expensive 5.1 setup. You can not set the speakers the way you can with better systems. All you can adjust are the output levels of the Center, Sub and Rear Surrounds. No reference mic is used to help with room acoustics. There are no settings on the speakers themselves. Not even the Sub for things like Near Field and frequency cutoffs. Speaking of the sub, I found that using the Computer Cable provided worked best for me. It plugged right into my motherboard. On the Sub, the cables are color coded to match the colors of the inputs on the back of the Sub. There are 3 cables. one for the Front Pair, one for the Rear Pair and one for the Center and Sub. Unfortunately, the connectors on the Sub are NOT marked! I had to do an internet search to find out that Green was Front, Black for Rear Surrounds and Tan for Center and Sub. Even a sticker on the Sub or cables would have been a help. Since I use these with Adobe Premiere, I found I spent some time setting up the preferences in Audio Hardware and Playback to get me what I needed. It turns out that I used Asio instead of MME for Device Class and the Device set to: ASIO4ALL v2. Had to download ASIO4ALL a while back to use with Izotope RX. All in all, for what I do, I'm happy with the system and glad I got it. If you're not an Audio Engineer and just want good clean sound from your computer, these are a good way to go. I purchased the system with confidence that B&H would accept a return if need be, and I used my Payboo Card to avoid paying Sales Tax. A good deal all around.Robert

My old Z506 speakers finally died after about a decade of constant use. These are SO costly and don't seem to benefit from a separate tweeter. I tried Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and while they sound great for gaming and video they really need a center channel. These sound fantastic. In fact, almost transparent. I hoped more applications would support Dolby Digital or Dolby Live but Win 10 and 11 abandoned this. I use both the optical connection and the regular (color coded pc jacks). They sound identical but the Optical will send uncompressed audio from DVD's and .mkv video files and the light will show it is decoding the stream. Otherwise unless you use a very old Realtek driver or have a Soundblaster Z soundcard you will have to live with "3D audio" which is still pretty great. As far as far as gaming goes the positional audio is great even without paying for a Dolby codec. Are they worth almost $400?? Well they don't sound much better than the $100-$150 Z506. You do get a decoder and a digital input as well as multiple inputs, so if money is no object this is the way to go.Fraamus

Sonos bills the Ray Sounder as a great choice for people who want big sound in a small space, but I have to tell you, it is great for big rooms as well. We have a 60" TV mounted above our fireplace in our main living room/kitchen area (open concept). We have found that some sounds and especially dialogue can seem a bit muffled or 'lost' in all that open room. We don't tend to watch movies and such in there, we have a multi-media room for that, but we do watch lots of news and my wife watches her reality TV shows in there, so lots of dialogue. The Ray product description talks about how it is tuned to help with voices and dialogue, and I have to say, Sonos and the Ray delivered in spectacular fashion. Everything sounds crisp and precise no matter where you are in the room or what you are doing. For that reason alone, the Ray is completely worth it for me. The Ray is also incredibly easy to set up. I was able to plug it in to the power plug behind the TV and slot the digital audio cable (fiber optic) without even having to move the TV on my mount. I had already downloaded the App to my iPhone right before opening the box and within a couple minutes I had the Ray up and running and was ready to 'tune' it for the room. Sonos has you hold your phone so the mic is up and then has you walk around the room sweeping it from high to low as it pings our a tone so that the software can figure out the acoustics of your room. It took me three tries to get it done (first I went too slow because I was trying to minimize the noise I made, on the second try I made too much noise because I was going faster, but on the third try I managed to do everything right). It is completely worth it to go through the tuning because I could tell the difference almost immediately. It really felt like the sound was being beamed right to my ears. I was as happy as could be with the set up and sound of the Ray and my wife was even impressed with the sound and she hardly notices that stuff. Unfortunately, the next day we started running into a problem. While I was able to get my Samsung and the Ray to talk that first day and was able to control the volume with my TV remote, it stopped working the next day and I had to go through the troubleshooting process. Got it to work again and my wife was happy. The next day, same exact thing. While I appreciate the the fiber optic connection for it's sound quality, and lack of delay, I'm really wishing that Sonos has put in an HDMI connection, because I have YET to have a problem controlling a sound bar through that way (though I HAVE had problems with sound synching through HDMI). The Ray is new and so is my Samsung TV so I'm hoping that maybe we might get this worked out with a firmware update to one or the other or both. It also wouldn't be a problem if all shows and commercials were required to be leveled to the same volume, so that you didn't need to crank down/up the volume all the time and could instead, just find the precise volume that works for you and let it be. Finally, I really hope that Sonos also makes a TV undermount for the Ray. It has one available to mount it directly to the wall, but I don't want to have to do that. Right now it is sitting on the mantle, which is fine in the short term but I would really like it slung underneath the TV so we don't have to see the cords. It is such a diminutive soundbar that it shouldn't need anything fancy or too bulky. I'm sure I could find something from a 3rd party but I would prefer to have one made especially for the Ray. All-in-all, I am VERY happy with the Ray. I eventually got my wife to put the Sonos App on her phone and she can adjust the volume there for the time being, but I would really like for Sonos to come up with a solution to utilize the remote we already have a bit better. For the price, the Ray is an outstanding addition to any TV setup and will vastly improve the sound quality of your shows regardless of the size of your room.Wraith

Giving a boost to a TV with a soundbar seems to me to be a bit of a complex decision if we consider that there are many options on the market, Sonos has done a good job with this wifi soundbar as the sound quality is great despite being a relatively small device, however there are a couple of things that can be improved. I will start with the unboxing which is very simple, you have to cut the side seals, lift the lid, in view is the soundbar covered with a protection and along with a box with the power cable and an optical cable plus quick start guide and documentation. The connection to TV is super easy with the optical cable, an app is needed but it is not only installing an app but also creating an account, which for a sound bar seems a little unnecessary and it seems to me that this is where the experience changes a bit because the app has many options but few of them are directly related to the performance and use of the sound bar, which again sounds pretty good but the app does not provide much. Another feature that I find a little frustrating, that seems to be no way to disable, is that when used via Ariplay with a mobile device, when I skip to the next song and the volume is at 100% is automatically lowered to 60% and you have to up the volume again (I did not find a way to disable this). I get the impression that the app is focused more on multimedia consumption than on improving the performance of the soundbar, some improvements are needed in the app. The soundbar has a good performance regarding the sound either playing music or multimedia content from different platforms, the clarity in the voice is something that I liked a lot, there are soundbars that make the voice is lost between effects or highs and lows but with this soundbar is not so, even at maximum volume the voices are very clear, I cant say the same about the bass, it is good but not outstanding however considering that it is a soundbar and that it is not a big size, it does a good job. As a consumer we will tend to compare the price of the product against its performance, i.e. is it really worth the price? I will answer with a simple Yes because soundbars of this price with the same features are not easy to find, so despite being a very popular product and with many alternatives, I can say that this Sonos sound bar is a very good option, it is clear that there are things that can be improved, mainly the app, but I consider this product worth what it costs … recommended!Serv

I really was hoping to like this soundbar better than I did but too many things hold it back. First is the no HDMI. In the last 6 years of buying soundbars I haven't had a single one that didn't have an HDMI connection. Coming from a higher end vendor you really wouldn't expect them to not add support and go with a lower bandwidth input. Sure it's only stereo and that extra bandwidth would go to waste, but CEC controls wouldn't and the need of another remote. Forget about using an app to control sound, that's way more cumbersome than feeling buttons on a remote. Another is the need for an account to set up the device. I'm really getting tired of every device requiring you reveal who, what, where you are any time you want to do simple tasks. Higher end shouldn't have rely on data mining since they're already charging premium on the device itself. As for sound, it's a bit bassy and boxy at default settings. Lowering the bass and pushing treble up a bit balances out to a more natural sound. The downside is that you lose the bass – a sub would be able to pick up the slack. At this setting it's very pleasing, though. I don't like that there's no fine tuning the sound any further than simple bass/treble sliders. There's also no bluetooth. If you want to play music through these speakers it's wifi only. It's not a bad thing but not having to allow it network or internet access would be a big plus since it's just a speaker that has no need at all to connect to my network and especially not outside of my local network. It's a decent soundbar, but nothing I would ever buy for my main set up. It's good enough for my daughter's room or maybe as a standalone music speaker. Too many limitations make it not really shine like I had hoped it would.MadSquabbles

Right out of the box I was impressed with the solid build and inert cabinet. Connected to my Marantz NR1200 stereo receiver they sound absolutely lovely with all types of music that I tried. Acoustic folk, Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Classical all sound wonderful. I played music through Airplay and from Vinyl. Instrumentation is clear and detailed, bass is tight, and male and female vocals are in the right place. Mids and highs are detailed and smooth with no harshness. I had bought these along with the Polk XT20 to compare them and see which I liked better. I powered them using a Denon AVR-760h to watch movies and listen to music. I have a 2.0 configuration (for now). I felt these were better than the XT20's because they sound more natural and warm. They both have good sound in mids and lows but the ES20s sounded cleaner and more refined. I am not sure if it is the power port. The XT20s have good clarity, but I feel the sounds don't blend as well together. Overall I would say the ES20 definitely edges out the XT20s but they should since they cost more. The XT20s aren't terrible by any means and at the sale price of $225 I think they are a great deal, but if you do not mind the price jump then its a no brainer in my opinion to opt for the ES20s over the XT20s. I think the Signature Elite series of speakers from Polk look much nicer than the XT series, but to each their own. The wood finish on the elite series is nice, although the front cover is plastic. I will most likely add the ES30/ES35 center channel and the ES55/ES70 floorstanding speakers in the future.Alex

I bought two ES60 towers and an ES30 center channel to pair with Denon receiver. After biwiring the towers and getting the center channel hooked up I immediately played some hi res music and I was stunned at how good the clarity and depth was. These towers truly do have full range and for the price you’d be hard pressed to find anything better. I chose these over another major brand that has horn tweeters and the Polk towers sound much warmer and the highs are not as harsh. The walnut cabinet is very nice and sleek looking and is not just a big boxy cabinet. I will complete my surround sound with more speakers from the ES line in the future.Allen S

This review is for the following 7.1 setup: Onkyo TX-NR6100 receiver Klipsch R-101SW subwoofer Klipsch R-30C – center Klipsch R-40SA – height surround Klipsch R-50M – back surround Klipsch R-600F – front speakers It was time to upgrade my 20 year old 5.1 system that didn't really have much bass to the latest technology. Let me just tell you, huge difference. The R-50M sounds almost as good as the R-600F. Just a little less bass. Speech comes through nice and clear in the center channel. This has got to be the best 10" subwoofer I have ever heard. It completely fills the whole room with bass. No weird distortions from the speaker or box, Just awesome bass. You can control the bass with the gain and low pass knobs on the back to get the perfect punch that you want. You can also put it on standby mode so that it will shut off if it doesn't detect any sound. Speakers arrived on a palette. The boxes made them seem larger but it was just good packaging. The grill came with some packing behind them for protection. The grill is also magnetic except on the subwoofer, so they are really easy to remove and put back on. On the back of the R-600F it has two connections at the bottom. The main and the height. You can connect your R-40SA with supplied cables to the Dolby Atmos connection in one of the pictures as long as you have wires running to the height connection at the bottom. I have included pictures that show the vinyl up close and they look great with the copper colored speakers. The tweeters on these speakers let you stand anywhere in the room and still get about the same awesome sound. The copper colored speakers provide a nice mid-range. Each speaker on its own doesn't do much but when you combine them all it is audio bliss. Sounds just come from every where while watching a movie and the explosions make you feel like you are in the scene. I can actually hear things in songs I didn't hear before. Even at high levels they still sound great. You will not regret this purchase. Really happy to own this setup.Tekie

OVERVIEW The Klipsch R800F floor standing behemoths are solid speakers that feature a great design aesthetic and pretty good sound that tends to lack a bit in the mid-range. They're a very good front speaker option but aren't quite as impressive as Klipsch's other speakers in the newly redesigned Reference series. DESIGN The first thing I noticed about these speakers is that they're quite large. In my system, they replaced a set of Paradigm Monitor 11s7 floor standers which are large in their own right, but these are substantially bulkier depth and width wise (they're roughly the same height). Their bulk isn't a con in my opinion, as my theater is setup in such a way that their size doesn't matter, but if you're strapped for space, you may need to consider whether these are a good fit. The finish is a jet black wood-grained vinyl that's a semi-gloss, classy looking finish. From the front, you see nothing but a Klipsch logo adorned on the giant speaker grille, which is attached by hidden magnets to the speaker. This coincidentally was how my Paradigm speakers handled affixing the speaker grille as well, and I personally think this is a fantastic solution because it leaves you with a completely clean look with the grille off. On the back, you have two pairs of speaker terminals on the bottom and a pair of banana plugs on the top. The second set of inputs allows you to pass-thru your connection to a set of Atmos enabled speakers at the top, which is an incredibly elegant feature that significantly cleans up the speaker wire situation in the front. You can run two sets at the bottom and have a short run set at the top and not have wires dangling all over the place. Great implementation. SOUND QUALITY I'll preface this again by saying that these replaced a set of very good Paradigm floor standers, so my comments here are in the context of that situation. Overall, I've found the R800F speakers to be pretty good, giving a substantial amount of high end and low end presence. To my ears, they lack definition in the mid-range, however, which is not entirely surprising given that they're a two-way driver design. The Paradigms were a three-way driver design, meaning they had a dedicated mid-range speaker cone, and in my experience, this helps the Paradigms achieve a slightly fuller sound. That being said, that's the result of my ears being accustomed to the Paradigms, and in general, the R800Fs have a decently full sound stage that projects a loud, forward amount of sound. They generally sound great with both music and movies. Testing these with a number of different genres of music, they never seemed to struggle regardless of how challenging the content was (anything from metal to progressive to red dirt); the R800Fs filled my listening space with an abundance of great sound, always projecting a relatively uncolored and mostly full blanket of noise (perhaps lacking something in the mids as previously discussed). The highs were incredibly well put together, not piercing as some speakers do it, but very forward and present. The new tweeter design is probably the star of the show here, as it handles a pretty wide range of frequencies, ranging from the seemiingly ultrasonic into the vast realm of mid-range. They do an admirable job of trying to cover the mid crossover into the larger drivers, but again, I feel there's some punch missing that means these could've benefitted with a third driver type in my opinion. In terms of cinema and TV watching, these speakers excel. The lack of mid-range punch noted previously is not much of a consideration here, as they handle everything from loud explosions to delicate dialog with ease. With the R800Fs, I've never found myself struggling to interpret or understand dialog, which is often the case for my previous systems, and they handle the loudest of explosions in style, filling my theater with a blanket of sound that can rattle the walls if given enough volume. While these are very good for music, it feels to me like they were made for movies. CONCLUSION The R800Fs are very good, behemoths that sound pretty good with music and sound incredible with movies. They feature a design aesthetic that's likely to fit in with a majority of setups, and are well served to form the foundation of your new home theater. These should be a strong consideration for you, especially if you're primarily concerned with cinema watching.JTurn

I am going to start of with how beautiful these floor speakers are. The ebony wood casing with the copper speaker diaphragm just look elegant yet graceful. The speakers do come with a magnetic mesh cover, but I have not put them on because they just cover up these beautiful speakers. Beauty means nothing if these speakers can’t produce. Let me tell you these speakers by Klipsch sound amazing. I had always been a soundbar guy just because of they are more convenient and don’t take up as much space but once you try out these speakers it will change your mind. The music and the movies, everything sounds so much better, everything is just so much crisper and clearer and clean to give you a better immersive experience. I did find myself being lost in the music just because how amazing the sound quality was. You can distinctly hear the different instruments, the ranges, the pitches, the highs and the lows. Some speakers start to distort at higher levels but that was not the case with these speakers. Everything was on point regardless of what you throw at them. When used as a complete set for a home theater system, the speakers combined with the center channel and the surround speakers and the sub, it will give your movie experience a new meaning. The dialogues are cleaner and clear and can be heard easily, while simultaneously allowing you to hear more of the background sounds in the movie. The sub is easily able to handle the hard-hitting notes but is not overwhelming. One cool feature about these floor speakers is that they can be paired with the Klipsch surround sound speakers with the provided input jacks in the back of the speaker for the Dolby Atmos elevation channel. You will see a rubber cover on the back of the speaker with the words “Dolby Atmos”. Simply remove the rubber cover to reveal the height elevation input jacks. The manual provided with the speaker can guide you on proper placement for your setup.Hmirza

I received my Prime Towers on 2/21/18, and immediately unpacked them and connected them to my Audio System. My first impression was that they were very harsh in the upper end with decent bass, but not as clean as my Mission 735 Towers that I was trying to replace. I realized that the Prime Towers must be broken-in before making a judgement, so I continued with the break-in process. (SVS recommends at least 34 hours of break-in) After 36 hours of break-in, I still found them to be very harsh sounding on the mid to upper end, and not offering the depth and impact on the lower end when compared to my Mission 735 Towers. I realize that this is all subjective, but I'm an old musician who worked his way through college playing trumpet with some of the hotel house big-bands in San Juan, P.R. back in the 70's. Therefore, I have a little experience in what live music sounds like. and have always tried to emulate this in my audio systems over the years. The SVS Towers continue to be a bargain at this price point, but just not for me. I must say that their customer service is beyond what any other company offers today. I will be purchasing an SB-2000 sub-woofer from SVS in the near future to complete my audio system with the Mission Towers. Thanks for the experience!Ron V.

I used to be a longtime Bose user. I had been using Bose speakers all the way back to my first 301s back in 1986. I had no idea what truly good sound was like, I just thought they sounded good. Before upgrading to SVS, I had: – Sony STR-DG1100 HDMI Receiver (nice receiver, but 15 years old so ready for a change) – Bose 201s for the front – Bose VCS-10 for the center – Bose 161s for the surrounds – A small Velodyne Impact Mini subwoofer I thought the system sounded fine, but to be honest I'd never had anything better. Then I replaced them with the SVS Prime Tower Surround System, an SVS PB-2000 subwoofer, and Denon AVR-X6400H receiver, and everything changed. It actually took a few days to really see the difference, maybe my ears just needed some time to adjust. I'm not an audiophile or anything, so I can't get very technical here. But there is a big difference with SVS. It doesn't just sound like a speaker putting out all of the sounds at once at a really loud volume – I can now hear the individual sounds as if they're completely separate from everything else. The surround sound really envelops me and makes it feel like I'm right in the middle of the movie (or song). And the subwoofer – wow! It's more than just a big subwoofer that puts out a bunch of bass. You can really feel the different kinds of bass, from crisp shots to deep rumbles, and none of them overwhelm the rest of the system. It sounds like it's paired perfectly with the Prime speakers. SVS has a new customer for life. When the time is right, I hope to expand the system from 5.1 to 7.1, 9.1 and eventually 11.1 (which the Denon supports). Might even get a second PB-2000 later.John K.

I don’t consider myself an “audiophile”, but I do appreciate quality sound, and as my surround sound speakers were all made up of thrift store buys, I decided it was time to upgrade. I couldn’t be happier with the results. These speakers sound amazing and are a reasonably priced set. Due to COVID impacts, it took a while for the complete set to arrive, but each time a piece showed up, it was a marked improvement in the sound field. Now that the set is complete, I can see why a quality speaker setup is an important investment. I'm a first time user when it comes to home theater systems! I honestly didn't know how to use one or how it was suppose to work. I know that my kids and I definitely miss going out to the movie theater but during this pandemic we have been staying home as much as possible. So this home theater system was definitely a treat for the whole family! This home theater system comes with everything you will need to start enjoying it at home. It comes with six surround sound speakers. It enables you do watch your favorite things through Bluetooth. It has LED lights and it also comes with a remote which is so handy! It has a pairing button as we'll play/pause for easy use. It also has digital volume control. This sound system has great sound and it's just the perfect size for our entertainment center. The Bluetooth works great for us as well. The remote also works good and we haven't had any issues so far. My family now enjoys our at home theater experience. We have movie nights as a family more often and I'm loving it. The only complaint that I really had was that the cords for the speakers were way too short. I had to kind of place the speakers in awkward positions because the cords were long enough to reach where I needed them to go. I think this is a great purchase for the price. Got 2 for my 2 boys birthdays, one for each, but one hasn't gotten theirs yet. Was disappointed when opening the box as there was a good sized box, taped and all, empty to fill space. So the used a larger box to make you think the system was bigger than it really is. After spending maybe 10 minutes installing, hiding wires and connecting the Bluetooth the boys was very excited to have surround sound and a Bluetooth stereo in his room. Like I said I got 2 and will be leaving another post in about a month for another review and update. Quickly very happy. Not as big as I thought but sounds good for a bedroom or small living room.Davers

It took over an hour with the internet and tv manual to figure out how to connect speaker system. Tv wouldnt pair via bluetooth, arc HDMI or optical alone, had to connect optical and HDMI to get it to work! Instructions from brand were no help and each auio option only 1-3 pages long. There was no parts inventory list so I had no clue what some of the bits were. Didnt know until trial and error to find out two of the mini speakers had longer cords to connect for surround sound category. And bluetooth description is a misnomer because all speakers must be connected to subwoofer by cord! Cords all over the room and limits area speakers can reach! If it wasnt a gift would definitely consider returning. One plus is the different speakers volume can be individually adjusted.Rach333

I was so dumbfounded by just how light these speakers were. The sound does not disappoint, however. Make sure you have a sufficient amp to drive these bad boys with a good EQ. I also have some Polk flush mount speakers in a different room. They sound great. Complete the ensemble with a Polk subwoofer. It packs a serious punch and will make its own speaker rattle before it will rattle the walls, just be careful when you have it upstairs because the people downstairs may not appreciate a sub that powerful. You can always change the volume and frequency though. I figured that the sub works best on a single line level input. In terms of the floor speakers, they work great and have adequate bass enough to not disappoint. Having the Sub makes them that much more awesome though. When you unbox the speakers lay them on the side unless youre like 7 tall. Be careful when you take them out of the box since there is plastic wrapping that comes right off the speakers and make sure you have the grill side up to protect it. After I hooked up these speakers, a smile appeared on my face. Tonally, the highs, mids and lows are there and sound like things are balanced nicely and to spec. What struck me about the T50 is the clarity of sound. I'm hearing things inside familiar music that were not nearly as present on my previous 3-way speakers with 8" woofers. To be better than this, you'll have to shell out a LOT of cash. Not worth it. Glad I made the purchase.jojocookin

Worked great for a couple months…… Quit working and won’t reconnect. Literally tried everything it’s just a POS and I will probably never buy Polk again. First time using and I’ll go back to literally anything cause this is bad. It’s a brand new Vizio tv (2021) and works with everything but the Polk soundbar that I spend an arm and leg for.Austin Coleman

Stereo is used in a garage for workouts. I was using a JBL Pulse 3 portable bluetooth speaker beforehand. This LG stereo fills the room a lot better. Surprisingly, the only thing it lacks to me is bass. It has a dedicated subwoofer but it was a bit lackluster in some music genres I enjoy listening to while exercising, like Metal and Hip-Hop. It isn’t bad it just leaves me craving a little more thump. Besides that everything else is great. 9.5 out of 10.ADLC

Overall a great little bookshelf system. No issues with pairing, good sound and decent price. I haven’t used all the features (cd, usb) because I have not had a need. The only thing I would improve on is there is no manual equalizer that I have seen. May have missed it but the user manual leaves a lot to be desired. Not instructions at all. Too me a hour to figure out how to set the clock.Andy

Best bang for the buck. It sounds amazing and puts out bass deep enough that pictures and a painting jumped off the wall where they were hanging. The only drawbacks I've had with this unit have been with setting and storing preset radio stations, the speaker wires are short-limiting how far each component can be spread from each other, and the speaker wires connect by pinch points and are wired into each speaker and the subwoofer. I'm used to having pinch points on the back of the stereo and a pinch point on the speaker, making it possible to use a different longer and thicker speaker wire to space the speakers further away from each other and not have to keep reconnecting the speakers to the stereo after the cord gets yanked out when someone trips on the cord. All in all, this is an awesome unit with great sound and I'd definately recommend picking out up.ISchul757
