I've had Chronic Telogen Effluvium for the past 4 years, which basically results in very heavy hair shedding. This stuff helped fill my hair back out when it was noticeably thinning and then maintain a full head of hair the entire time. It's obviously a product that will work for some people and not as much for others, but it's certainly worth a shot. I love the 2%…I did try 5% first at the advice of a dermatologist and I was so sensitive to it that it actually made the peach fuzz on my face far worse (despite the fact I'm careful not to get it on my face). Switching to the 2% fixed that issue, and the liquid is far easier to use than the foam if you have long hair…you just have to be careful to lean your head back a bit so it doesn't run down your face. It doesn't really leave a residue. I only use it once a day and that's enough for me at the point.Madeline

This is a really well-priced alternative to the big name-brands out there charging two or three times the price. In terms of ingredients (active and otherwise), they seem to share the vast majority of them, and after using various over the years, this seems to work pretty much the same. So, in terms of lower cost while still providing a relatively high quality, this is a good product in comparison to market competitors. But, do keep in mind, minodzidil overall is not a miracle drug, and doesn’t really do too much for a lot of people. Personally, after a few yesrs of use, it seems to really only keep my hair relatively thick, but unable to do much in saving my front hairline and crown balding. That is just simply a part of aging as male and cannot be avoided for most men— unless you expect to not have any testosterone conversion within your body! So, the bottom line is, if you want minoxidil in a foam form that is less agitating for the skin than the liquid form, then this is a fantastic product to purchase. This stuff definitely works…OVER TIME. Not going to lie: I RARELY used it twice per day, almost always once during the evening. Why? Bc it definitely adds a “film” to your hair, At least it did to my hair anyway ;it definitely gave it a sort of gritty, hairspray-esque feeling to it, and I most certainly didn’t want that texture during the day at work. So my recommendation is to spray it…yes, I said “spray”….my recommendation is to pour each bottle into a small plastic spray bottle of some kind rather than use the product dropper, because if you use the dropper you’re going to end up wasting SO much product or not use enough, and using the dropper is so messy…if you spray it on your hair, trust me, it’s so much easier and you can actually hit the spots that you need to hit with a lot more accuracy!!! So I would spray a soft mist (extremely lightly) just on my part in the morning, work the rest of the day,letty .s
Great idea but although my hair is thinning I still have some hair. It’s extremely difficult to apply the foam without getting a significant amount on my hair which wastes product and makes my hair feel stiff and kind of dirty. I’ve even tried just carefully squirting the foam directly on my scalp in the part lines which works better than trying to dab it on with my fingers but it’s still not optimal. I wish Rogain could make a no PG formula in the liquid form as well as or instead of a foam for women. Foam would only be convenient if you were applying to bald or very sparse areas in my opinion. The liquid applied with a dropper is much easier to use and be sure you are really getting the majority of the product onto your scalp where it does the work. I began using Rogaine Dec. 12, 2020. I'm beginning my 38th week–almost 9 months in and I'm thrilled with the results! My hair is blonde and although it was somewhat fine I had a lot of hair. In my early 60's I noticed enough thinning that I had to use tons of thickening/volumizing products to get decent styling results. Last fall I began researching Rogaine. I knew it was a life-long commitment but then so is brushing your teeth, right? What did I have to lose? (No pun intended!) I did have some shedding. It's important to note those hairs would have soon fallen out–there was literally no bulb at the root. Within 5 weeks I had so many new hairs at the hairline, my hairstylist and I had to discern whether they were new hairs or breakage! Under her trained eye, she could confirm they were new hairs. Those baby hairs have grown into lovely, thick bangs. I love bangs–they are so flirty–and I thought my days of having bangs were gone, pre-Rogaine. My bangs, top, crown, back, sides–all thicker with new hair. I wear my hair short to medium length and get frequent trims. Each trip to the stylist gets wow reviews from her on the thickness of my new hair. And my husband simply raves over the new styles I'm able to wear. Personal experience: Certain areas grow and thicken quicker–only noticeable to me but I like to keep it trimmed well. You will need to wash brushes and combs. (Should we, anyway?!) I shampoo every two to three days. I may dampen my hair the morning after Rogaine and give it a little blowout. (Rogaine is applied at night with me, though is certainly no rule, just my preference.) I've had Chronic Telogen Effluvium for the past 4 years, which basically results in very heavy hair shedding. This stuff helped fill my hair back out when it was noticeably thinning and then maintain a full head of hair the entire time. It's obviously a product that will work for some people and not as much for others, but it's certainly worth a shot. I love the 2%…I did try 5% first at the advice of a dermatologist and I was so sensitive to it that it actually made the peach fuzz on my face far worse (despite the fact I'm careful not to get it on my face). Switching to the 2% fixed that issue, and the liquid is far easier to use than the foam if you have long hair…you just have to be careful to lean your head back a bit so it doesn't run down your face. It doesn't really leave a residue. I only use it once a day and that's enough for me at the point.Madeline
I am a 29-year-old woman who suffered from a receding hairline since birth. This is a really well-priced alternative to the big name-brands out there charging two or three times the price. In terms of ingredients (active and otherwise), they seem to share the vast majority of them, and after using various over the years, this seems to work pretty much the same. So, in terms of lower cost while still providing a relatively high quality, this is a good product in comparison to market competitors. But, do keep in mind, minodzidil overall is not a miracle drug, and doesn’t really do too much for a lot of people. Personally, after a few yesrs of use, it seems to really only keep my hair relatively thick, but unable to do much in saving my front hairline and crown balding. That is just simply a part of aging as male and cannot be avoided for most men— unless you expect to not have any testosterone conversion within your body! So, the bottom line is, if you want minoxidil in a foam form that is less agitating for the skin than the liquid form, then this is a fantastic product to purchase. I am a 35 year old woman that has been dealing with moderate hair loss for about six years. I started out with a lot of hair so when I would discuss the problem with my doctor, he basically would make me feel like I was being paranoid and say "well look at all the hair you have". I have been using this product for many months now and really noticed a difference in the thickness of my hair. You could definitely tell that my hair was thinning before, but after using the drops at night and the shampoo in the morning the results could be seen after about 3 months! I learned that using the drops at night is better because it leaves your hair looking wet if you use it in the day. Something else that is important is that the product wont work on hair that has fully died out such as bare bald spots. Ive got to say that when I first started using this I was very skeptical. Had ordered once before and didnt see any results (wasnt consistent with use) however this time Ive been consistent and I have to say it really does work. When I first ordered i was feeling the irritation and pain in the frontal scalp area that is typical of hair loss. My hair was incredibly incredibly thin so I figured to give it a try again, my sister had told me it was working before. So I ordered the entire set with the shampoo and conditioner and just those alone I feel helped with the scalp irritation and swelling. At first you dont notice anything for a while but you keep doing it because it becomes a simple part of your night (use it before bed)but then three weeks later you realize that the pain and irritation is pretty much gone and that the fallout is almost nil. Then you look closer and realize that the really thin spots had started to fill in. I keep my hair short so I can notice these things easier and it really is working. Ive almost got full coverage in the front again. I dont think there is any regrowth but it is definitely fulling out the hair that was very thin previously. If you are thinning this is the way to go because it definitely works, I think it noticeably will imrpove your hair in about a months time. This hair grow is slow in results but has given me great results over the long run. I had bad thinning around my edeges in the top of my head. I am amazed after two boxes I have hair and very thick. I used this product religiously for 4/5 months. I was using another minoxidil product for a year prior with exceptional results. I wanted to try this brand because honestly I thought I would get even better results because of the brands reputation/history, I was being greedy. First off, I started losing clumps of hair immediately after I started using this treatment, this was strange because i was already using minoxidil, so why would my hair fall out? If you are hoping to see miracle results after a week this is not for you. You have to have a dedicated routine every day. So every night I fill the dropper, part my hair and apply directly to the scalp. Then I follow up with a scalp massager then brush out my hair then loose braid my hair and go to sleep. I decided to give this one a try because the reviews were pretty good and it was affordable, but I had zero hope or expectation of anything. I've been faithfully using Hers 2% minoxidil solution for 2 months now, and I'm honestly shocked. Do I have a thick, full head of hair without showing a little bit of scalp? No, but I'm not embarrassed and anxious every day. I still have thin, fine hair, but I would estimate that I've grown back 25%-30% of the hair I've lost and I only have one remaining large patch that I feel is super visible. I know how emotional distressing female pattern baldness is, and I wouldn't say this worked for me if it didn't. So I used this product actually on my eyebrows and not my head of hair. I has very sparse overly plucked brows. I decided to try not touch my brows and apply this 2 times everyday with a qtip. The product comes in a dropper so this is easy to use. There is also no distinguishable fragrance or smell. I used this for about 3 months and I never got any contact dermatitis or pimples of any kind around my eyebrow area. Now for the results of the product, I do think it helped the brows grow longer faster, but didn't grow any hair in areas that were sparse. I've had Chronic Telogen Effluvium for the past 4 years, which basically results in very heavy hair shedding. This stuff helped fill my hair back out when it was noticeably thinning and then maintain a full head of hair the entire time. It's obviously a product that will work for some people and not as much for others, but it's certainly worth a shot. I love the 2%…I did try 5% first at the advice of a dermatologist and I was so sensitive to it that it actually made the peach fuzz on my face far worse (despite the fact I'm careful not to get it on my face). Switching to the 2% fixed that issue, and the liquid is far easier to use than the foam if you have long hair…you just have to be careful to lean your head back a bit so it doesn't run down your face. It doesn't really leave a residue. I only use it once a day and that's enough for me at the point.Madeline
I am a 29-year-old woman who suffered from a receding hairline since birth. This is a really well-priced alternative to the big name-brands out there charging two or three times the price. In terms of ingredients (active and otherwise), they seem to share the vast majority of them, and after using various over the years, this seems to work pretty much the same. So, in terms of lower cost while still providing a relatively high quality, this is a good product in comparison to market competitors. But, do keep in mind, minodzidil overall is not a miracle drug, and doesn’t really do too much for a lot of people. Personally, after a few yesrs of use, it seems to really only keep my hair relatively thick, but unable to do much in saving my front hairline and crown balding. That is just simply a part of aging as male and cannot be avoided for most men— unless you expect to not have any testosterone conversion within your body! So, the bottom line is, if you want minoxidil in a foam form that is less agitating for the skin than the liquid form, then this is a fantastic product to purchase. But just keep in mind this “medications” unfortunate and concrete limitations.Zach

The only downsides are irritation in my scalp although I’m using %2 ketoconazole shampoo. Also, when it used 2 times a day you will experience abnormal hair growth on the body. You will need to wash your hair more because of the residue on the hair. Finally you need to stick with it and you can’t discontinued otherwise you will lose what you gain. However seeing my hair back, thicker, longer make me ignore the cons and hopefully the company works to improve the product and minimize the side effects.Jana

If you’re feeling hopeless like me, go to your dermatologist and ask them about hairloss. It could be hormonal, genetic, stress induced, etc. Along with using rogaine I was prescribed Spironolactone which also helps with hairloss. Just make sure you talk to your doctor before doing anything drastic. But rogaine works people! Just be patient and consistent.ali.m

The one is formula made my scalp really dry and itchy and I saw on a TV show that a woman can use the men's formula only once a day. So I started using that. The men's formula is oily but not drying. It really works to stop your hair from falling out but the problem is you have to keep using it. I figured out over the years what my hair loves. So now I've mixed up my own oils and use henna and Aphogee protein treatment every four weeks and I have discontinued the minoxidil.lani.r
