I love it for applying makeup. The 7x magnification is plenty for seeing without my glasses. My only beef is that the mirror turns easily from the 1x to 7x and in so doing it unscrews and becomes very loose. My advice is when pushing the mirror back into place always make sure it is screwed tight otherwise someone will come in and knock it off and break it. I kept the info that came with it so I can order a new a mirror but so far they never answer. It's not as it appears in the picture. White not tortoise shell. Hard to tell which side is magnified. The 2x magnification is extremely slight. Mirror size is too small. Actual width of the mirror is 4 3/4 inches. Not large enough or magnified enough for a woman to apply makeup. After removing the square stickers on both sides the magnified side still has a 2" square mark on the middle of the mirror even after using glass cleaner. Overall the mirror is useless to me. I am returning it before it breaks. I would not recommend wasting money on the mirror.Gina

I tried everything to remove the labels off of this mirror I purchased. I tried WD-40 soaking for two days, I tried hot water and dish soap, I tried hot water and dish soap in a really hard scrub brush. it was horrible. I just wouldn't give up but I warn you it's pretty much impossible to remove the labels on both sides of this mirror and then when you do remove the labels eventually after two or three days of soaking and all that then there is still glue on both sides of it that you cannot see through so you have to scrub it all over again with everything you've got. I've never seen anything like it I really wish I knew what type of glue that was so I could stick things together and they've never come apart. oh don't think if you buy the black mirror with the handle that it's any better because I bought that one too and it was not any better and when it arrived the handle was broken. So here I had a black Goody mirror with a broken handle and a purple one with shorter handle but both of them had front and back labels stuck on like cement. Fun times. Not. I did get a refund for the black mirror with the handle that broke.SilverFox

The good news is the company might have been paying attention because I just purchased this mirror and it has different stickers (still on both sides) that were purple and peeled right off in one go with no mess, not the white ones that are shown here. The mirror is fairly priced and would have been acceptable EXCEPT for the unfortunate nd maddening fact that BOTH sides of the mirror had big stickers wit h information on them so absurdly and securely glued to the mirrors that even after one hour of aggravation – ripping off miniscule pieces, soaking in water, scrubbing after applying window cleaner letting it soak and scrubbing again, glue still remains in several places to obstruct the view. This is a two side mirror as you would expect but they use the strongest adhesive for a large label on each side of the mirror. You should plan to spend a few hours trying to get these stickers off! Soak in water, alcohol, fingernail polish remover, lighter fluid still takes a long time to get all the residue off each side of the mirror. I still have to go back and use more lighter fluid to get off the remaining residue. Have no idea what this company was thinking when they chose that sticker adhesive…MichaelL

I needed a small mirror to use to shave in the shower so this one I felt would work perfect. The Command Strips were simple to use after cleaning the fiberglass surface in my shower. I have been using it for about six weeks and am pleased to say its holding up well in this very humid environment. The only issue that I have is that it will fog up during my showering process so I have to wipe it down and then you have the moisture on the mirror surface. The product claims it is fog resistant but my real world scenario does having it fogging up on a regular basis. It could just be the location (near the shower head) which creates more heat and thus fog. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.ChrisNC

A good mirror if you want to use it somewhere other than the shower/bathtub. It's good quality and easy to install. It mounts very easily. I would, however, avoid this at all costs in the shower/bathtub. It fogs up instantly no matter where you put it in there. It claims to be "fog-resistant" but that doesn't hold up at all. Any notion of "fog resistance" goes completely out of the window 30 seconds into a shower, when you literally cannot see anything in it. I have included 2 photos in my review. The first is before a shower and the second is about 2-3 minutes into a shower, to illustrate the fogging I am describing. That is why I have to give this 2 stars. A mirror that states "Bath" and "Fog-resistant" on its packaging shouldn't be selective on where it will function as a mirror anywhere in the bathroom.
