20 Best Moisturiser For 50 Skin (Jan 2023 Update)

I was the lucky recipient of a complimentary sample of this product via Influenster. I have very dry skin and had hoped this product would work miracles for my skin. Although it didn’t quite hydrate my skin the way I had hoped it’s still a really nice moisturizer and I think it would be perfect for those of you that don’t have very dry skin. I should also note that the sample I received only lasted me 5 days and that was with me using it once in the morning and once before bed so twice daily. Perhaps had I continued using it I might have seen more of a difference in my skin. The moisturizer feels like a creamy gel, it covered my skin nicely and didn’t leave any residue, it made my skin feel soft. A little goes a long way for example my tiny sample lasted me 5 days and I was using it on my face and the backs of my hands. It went on very smoothly and didn’t feel wet for very long after application. This meant it was great to apply before doing my makeup. I did notice it helped with the dry skin I get on my nose and felt very light. There was no strong fragrance to this product which is another great bonus. I can’t stand creams that have such a strong fragrance that you can smell it for hours afterwards. All that being said, it’s not a product I would purchase myself in the future. I have been using Clinique skincare and makeup since I was a teenager. In the past 15 years they have never let me down! I have oily/combination/occasionally sensitive skin so I am super picky about my skincare products. I have been using their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for about 15 years so when the opportunity to try this came up, I couldn't have been more excited to try it! This did not disappoint either! I start off my nighttime skincare routine with Clinique liquid facial soap then I use their toner and wait for my face to completely dry. When I first applied this I was so surprised at how little you need! A tiny bead was all I needed for my whole face! Almost immediately my skin felt plump and hydrated without that super wet sticky feel that some lotions cause. Sometimes when I use other lotions I wake up and my face is super oily but when I woke up after using this my face wasn't oily at all and still felt just as hydrated as it did the night before. I would say this is a bit too hydrating for myself to use every day so I have been using it every other day and I am IN LOVE. I like CeraVe products in general, it's a great brand and never irritates. I trust that any of the products I use from that brand is safe to put on my skin. They often include those all important ceramides! I'm so glad they have brought out this new line. I find this night cream in tandem with the vitamin C serum has really helped my skin. I'm definitely wearing less makeup or none at all in the last few weeks. I'm 39 so that's a real achievement for me. I also got asked for ID recently and had no makeup on so I'm definitely attributing that to my new skin treats. This feels rich and nourishing but not greasy. It's kind of an odd texture but it's really helped my skin look younger and plumper in the morning after use. It's reduced that tight feeling I sometimes get. I see this product as a night mask really because it's just so nourishing. I tend to not buy pot products but I understand why they have put this one into a pot. It's that texture, it would be difficult to get out of a tube or pump. So they have definitely packaged it the right way. I do like the texture. It's kind of like those matte mousse foundations (obviously not pigmented). Some nights I do prefer something lighter or an oil instead for example but this is not shiny or greasy so it's amazing that it's so nourishing at the same time. It's a real night treat that's for sure. What I've noticed the most is it's basically worked on hydration, rough texture, tight/dry skin but it has many other benefits including evening out skin tone and reducing redness. If you're semi lazy like me and don't have an extensive night time ritual then this product is perfect! I used to just use a washable makeup remover pad and a supermarket brand moisturiser but did not see any improvement but kept on up because it was ingrained in me as something that you 'had to do I am so pleased I got to trial the 3 piece CeraVe skincare set and I tell you what my skin has never looked better! I'm 47 but often get mistaken for a 30ish year old which is great. But since Covid my skin hasn't been the best with lack of care on my part The CeraVe Skin Renewing Night cream is absolutely gorgeous. No wierd smell. Absorbs quickly and is not oily at all. And you don't even need to use much at all so the pot will last ages My 'other' moisturiser used to pill my skin shortly after application but this totally did not do that I can visibly see the redness being improved! Whilst I did have a few small breakouts as always with new products they cleared up quickly and revealed a beautifully soft even and dare I day it…glowing face! I received this product complimentary for review purposes. I am very pleasantly surprised by this product. I have normal to dry skin and this moisturizer has been great for my skin. Consistently wise it is a bit in the thick side which is nice. Feels very rich and moisturizing being applied. What I like best it that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy. When I first started to use this product I was unsure if it was to be used on it’s own or in conjunction with my favorite moisturizer. After finding out it was to be used as a single product I started to use it as such. The instructions should have been made clear on the box. The first thing I noticed that the serum cream is very thick. I used it on my neck smile parentheses. Being that this cream is so thick I’m a little hesitant about stretching already loose skin. After experimenting I found if I warmed it on my fingers first it went on nicely. The cream works!! I took off 1 star because the cream is too thick ( in my humble opinion). I have very dry skin from the winter and have been looking for a cream to rehydrate it. I was really excited to try this but it does not love up to its claims. I've used it morning and night and it doesn't leave my skin hydrated for very long, it even has a strange feeling on my skin. It's also heavily scented which I don't like. I use lots of La Roche items that I like and was hoping this would be my saviour to really dry skin, but it isn't. Unfortunately they don't do free returns either. The texture is amazing and feels heavenly, it's like a whipped cream. And is quite heavy (in a good way). But unfortunately, it irritated the sensitive parts of my face, but then again my skin is pretty reactive. Maybe I used too much? (I used two pea sizes.) I love this moisturizer! I came across it on a YouTube video while looking for hydrating moisturizers. I have combination skin and my skin feels so hydrated after using this. It’s important to note that I pair this with the Laniege hyaluronic revitalizing toner which is also very hydrating. I also use an exfoliating cleanser, Paula’s Choice vitamin C serum and Innisfree sunscreen during the day. I use the moisturizer at night as well with other products. Love the combo! This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine. You really have to try it to believe it!ani.z

In the last two years I have been trying a number of hyaluronic acid serum brands. About a month ago I received a sample of Mineral 89 and I was instantly amazed with the results on my skin. The serum has a much thicker consistency than what I am used to, but this is what makes this product different. It is hydrating during the winter without being pore clogging which is important to me. People with dry skin may not find this hydrating enough. There is a subtle fresh scent which I don’t mind because it dissipates. There is spf 30 and it claims to help reduce dark spots but I may have to use it longer (I’ve used it on and off for a month). I have been using it for 10 days, every morning right after washing my face. I got to say, for a short amount of time, I do already get results. I like the delicate not empowering floral scent. I only need a small amount to do the whole face and neck. I warm the cream in between my hands a little bit before applying it all over using my hands to apply natural pressure as it is proposed. The cream itself is a little thick, but creamy enough to be applied and absorbed easily. It is not sticky, which is a plus when you don't want to wait to apply makeup. The Dr Jart Tiger Grass Re.pair cream has a greenish tint and feels like a rich ceramide cream on the skin. The green tint is very light so will not really cover any redness. The cream is soothing hydrating and similar to an eczema type cream. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and had just had a reaction to another product so applied this to the red and irritated skin. It helps to soothe any irritated skin but after using a few times it did start to sting a little on any irritated areas and it irritated my rosacea with the first application. I think this may be the niacinamide in the ingredients as my skin is very sensitive to niacinamide. I did find this pilled under my makeup so best to leave as along as possible before applying your base. Personally I preferred the serum in the range and with very sensitive skin this is just not a match for me. If you are not sensitive to niacinamide and need an emollient cream or barrier type cream to help repair redness it could be an good option.emk

I received a sample of this, and sadly there was only enough for one use. However, I really enjoyed using this cream. FYI I have dry skin. It had a very slight green tint to it, and had a lovely, thick texture. When I applied it, it felt like it just melted into my skin. It was very moisturising and nourishing, and it felt like I applied a heavy cream on with all of the hydrating benefits, without it feeling heavy on my skin. I'm not a fan of Dr Jart, and find them overpriced for what it does and how much you get in the bottle. But the cream overall was really nice and I feel like if I had purchased a full size product, it wouldn't irritate my skin and would keep it healthy and moisturised.ESH

At first, I just assumed that the older version just had different packaging and contained fragrance, but there are far more differences than that in the formulation. For one, this version contains heavier oils like olive oil which can be comedogenic. It caused my skin to break out quite severely even in areas where I don't usually develop acne. The fragrance is almost nauseating. It smells strongly of roses and lavender. The one thing that I enjoy more about this version over the newer one is its unique packaging. It has one of the most aesthetically pleasing jars out of any moisturizer I've ever used. I can only see this older version of the Dynasty Cream being potentially okay for those with dry, resilient skin. If I rated this the very first time I bought it (back when the jar was a different shape), I would have given it 6 out 5 stars, that was how much I loved it. I have very dry, very sensitive skin and this moisturizer was my saving grace for brutal NY winters. The latest one I bought though? Not so much. The texture is different and it's just not as moisturizing. It used to be this thick, stringy texture and was between a gel and a thick moisturizer. Now it feels almost like a milk/lotion texture. Not sure what they changed but I don't know if I will repurchase after this one, at least for my winter moisturizer because now it's just not moisturizing enough. This is a decent moisturiser. Great at hydrating the skin and supporting the skin barrier. The packaging is lovely and gives it a bit of a wow factor, so that’s another plus. As for the purported skin-brightening and (mild) anti-aging benefits, I’m not sure. I think this is the kind of product that requires long term use to make a difference. So with patience, it might cause visible improvements. I just haven’t seen any yet. The results might come too slowly for some people, in which case you’re better off buying someone else. I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.phoebe

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff. This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients. I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that. I usually really struggle in winter but the face oils with a good moisturiser, regular hyaluronic acid use and not going overboard with actives is key for me.claire.b

I'm a big fan of the Farmacy brand but this moisturizer was a huge disappointment for me. I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer that was still hydrating and would work well alone or under makeup and after reading reviews, I settled on this one. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. It is indeed lightweight, but it did not give me enough hydration. I do have dry skin but I've used other lightweight moisturizers that offered more hydration. I did not bother testing it out under makeup due to the sheer fact that worn alone, any hydration it did offer seemed to dissipate fairly quickly after application. Overall, while I liked the consistency and even the slight tackiness, my dry skin just wasn't a good fit for this moisturizer. That said, this may work well for other skin types and does live up to the lightweight claims. This is my absolute favorite moisturizer, hands down! I used up the sample I received from my FabFitFun box in 2018 and saved the container so I wouldn't forget one of my favorite moisturizers. I've tried many different moisturizers over the last 10 years, but none have compared to Honey Drop! It's super lightweight and non-greasy. It smells lovely, and the packaging is gorgeous. Honey Drop has got to be the most underrated Farmacy product. This stuff is incredible! I live in South Florida where the humidity is nuts, and as I'm entering my mid-thirties, my skin has suddenly gotten oilier, so I have been hunting for a perfect daytime moisturizer for a few years now. Kiehls had a great clay one that of course was discontinued not long after I started using it. I found Farmacy about a year later, after trying several light, oil-free moisturizers that just did not do it for me. Honey Drop is the only moisturizer I can wear during the day that is super lightweight, good for my sensitive skin, and doesn't make my face feel greasy (even Daily Greens didn't do it for me). Bought Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfect Cream with the serum. Both on £10 Tuesday offer. There isn’t any cream that suit me or doesn’t give me pimples apart from Olay. I’m Olay user the 7 total effects day and night cream as they are the only I’m happy to spend that much money on a cream. I came from Philippines where Olay makes a whitening formula but couldn’t get it here in UK as Olay cater to tanning effect rather than whitening. I got this 2 days ago. I’ve used it twice. On a clean dry face and if I touch my face it just rolls off. So if it rolls off, and doesn’t absorb, then what benefit is my face getting from it? I bought another olay product in in a pump bottle and my skin was just as dry as before I used it. I’m so disappointed. Olay used to be a wonderful product that gave good results. I used Olay Total Effects for years when I was a bit younger, and back then, niacinamide was not a well-known skincare ingredient, at least to the general public. So I didn't know why using this moisturizer made my pores look so refined, but I loved the effect, as well as the sunscreen. Then I started working for a skincare line and began using much more expensive — though not necessarily more effective — products. I no longer work for a skincare line, so it wasn't until the past couple of years that I began hearing about the benefits of niacinamide. It reduces and refines pores, improves skin texture, evens out skin-tone and helps skin stay hydrated and supple. So I started seeking it out in my skincare products. More recently, due to inflation, I decided to search for a more reasonably priced daytime facial moisturizer, and was so happy to find that my former favorite Total Effects contains niacinamide, which must be why years ago I could see how much my skin improved when I used it. Now it's once again my go-to daily moisturizer. (When I know I'll be outside or driving, I apply a higher SPF sunscreen over the Total Effects, but otherwise, I just use it alone, applied over a vitamin C serum.) I love this product, but knocked a star off because I miss the old packaging. I wish I had saved my old tub! This feels like a nice high end peptide lotion (comparable to the drunk elephant imo). It's what I would call mid-weight. It's not super light or heavy. It can be a night cream for oilier skin, and a day cream for dryer skin. I use it on my eye area and around my chin where I get dryness from my retin-a. During the summer I also use it as an all over night cream when my winter lotion is too heavy. After using this for 3 weeks my skin is not only feeling paper-y but my forehead has little bumps all over it 🙁 Let me preface this with I do not get skin issues/acne aside from dryness unless I use a bad product, it is a blessed genetic gift from my mother I inherited so honestly I'm mortified right now and not leaving the house bc I know all my friends are gonna use this as their opportunity to tease me I googled all the ingredients and compared them to the brand I've used for years (Avène) & the four I can find that would be causing this slow-drying sort of irritation are: Benzyl Alcohol Phenoxyethanol (known to irritate eczema along with the ability to lead to other harmful effects to longterm health i.e. CANCER) Sodium Hydroxide (corrosive to the skin and harmful to the lungs– while it's too small to do anything immediately ~imagine~ what it's doing over time) Phenethyl Alcohol (an ingredient that's never truly been tested for safety and has been proven to cause irritation in low doses as well as effects on the brain, nervous system, and reproductive system in moderate doses). Now, I know their team is going to reply with "blah blah blah we need preservatives, it is FDA approved, blah blah blah" but other companies, aside from Avène, do NOT use Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenethyl Alcohol, or any of their other ~questionable~ ingredients. I'm not saying this to get some marketing loop-around response, I'm saying this so y'all know what to look out for. Make sure the products in your bathroom are ~actually~ clean and NOT just "clean by Sephora." And honestly I'm surprised no one is getting sued over this (not that I will~~ not my circus, not my monkey). While my skin initially loved this product initially, overtime its harmed it. After waking up today with a simultaneously greasy and flaky/bumpy forehead this morning, I will be switching back to the TriXéra Nutrition Nutri-Fluid Balm by Avène– it's more expensive but the bottle is FOUR times the size (this is 1.6 oz, Trixera is 6.7 oz), does not have any harsh preservatives, has nutrients in it, actually locks in moisture overtime instead of drying.Ellen

Just a regular moisturizer. As a simple moisturizer, I'd give it a 4. But it's marketed as a peptide-based moisturizer, and it is not. The peptides are under 1% concentration (way below actually). Normally in an ingredients list, everything listed after Phenoxyethanol is under 1%. So the peptides listed have no effect in actuality, only listed as a marketing gimmick. This is just another case of marketing ingredients or "benefits" on the package that aren't actually included at an effective concentration. The Inkey List has several products like this, unfortunately, including other products advertising peptides and ceramides and other ingredients which are at < 1% concentration. Either include the skin-benefit ingredients in the therapeutic range, or don't mislead consumers by marketing the product label/description as having those ingredients. And certainly don't mark up the price of products just for listing "beneficial" ingredients that won't have any effect in the formulation. That goes for any company that engages in this, not just The Inkey List. Companies need to understand that consumers are getting more and more educated and they need to adapt from deceptive practices like this.Lauren

The old scent is much heavier and possibly more pleasant but the new one doesn't smell gross like everyone says. It's a light floral smell (think wishful/honeywhip-esque) that dissipates quickly. I like the finish of the newer formula much much better. It's more glass skin and less grease ball like the old one. I don't find any change in the moisturizing aspect of it. I still feel very quenched all day with just a dime sized amount first thing in the morning. It looked fantastic under nars soft matte foundation. And by itself it didn't make me sticky which is a personal pet peeve for me and I won't use creams that stay sticky all day. The poor reviews on here shock me because it's not too different from the original. If you love this cream, i think you'll continue loving the new formula, I'm sure. And if you're buying it for the first time, there's nothing out there like it and I really recommend it.prettiebabie

I recently received the Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream moisturizer complimentary from Laneige to test in exchange for my honest review and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the product. #freeproduct I’ve used the original version of the Water Bank Moisturizer before, which I absolutely love and this new and revamped version is even better. The packaging of this whole entire line is also really stinking cute (you best believe I’m already eyeing other products in this line). It’s a beautiful pastel baby blue colour with pops of pastel dusty pink accents (i.e. the spatula), and it honestly looks so good on my vanity. The cream is quite thick, but I feel not as thick as the original formulation, which I like even better, as I can use it in warmer weather as well and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. The product is scented, but it is quite light and subtle which I personally do not mind. I’ve been using this product regularly everyday in the am and pm after cleansing, toning and a serum and my skin has honestly been feeling and looking very moisturized, hydrated and smooth throughout the day, providing me with deep levels of hydration. Today I have the privilege of reviewing the new iteration of Laneige’s super popular moisturizer Water Bank in Blue Hyaluronic Cream. Laneige is probably most well known for their deliciously flavored and luxuriously hydrating cult favorite lip sleeping masks. I love what Laneige has done for my lips, so I was certain that whatever they could do for my skin would be just as splendid. This formula claims to be an upgrade from just your average Water Bank, now complete with a new variation of Hyaluronic acid boasting claims of better absorption and a longer lasting effect. This moisturizer also features the skin nourishing and replenishing benefits Squalane and Ceramide. Topped off with Green Tea enzymes, this cream will go to work to enhance your smoothest, softest looking skin. With my chronically dry skin, I was ready to put this product to the test. This cream was much thicker and heavier than I anticipated, and I would say this is probably heavier than its predecessor. Despite its weight, I was impressed by the complete lack of oiliness, stickiness, or greasiness. The claims of fast absorption are spot on. After just a few seconds of blending, the formula vanished into the inner workings of my skin barrier. Things I noticed about this product include improved elasticity and adequate elimination of flakes from my problem areas. The trace this new and improved Water Bank leaves behind is a healthy skin effect, and not the product itself simply sitting as a film on your face. Hours later, my skin still feels soft and supple to the touch, without any tackiness all while maintaining a natural matte effect. I could go on and on, but yes, I would say this really is a step up for the Water Bank!keith.b

This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine. You really have to try it to believe it!ani.z

This cream is wonderfully thick & rich, making it perfect for use at night (not so great for day). I use a very thin layer (a very little goes a very long way) because it will pill (it also doesn't absorb if you use too much – instead it creates a film on your skin…hence the pilling). It doesn't moisturize as much as I like, so I use an additional cream. I've found that when used as a thin, base layer under my regular moisturizer at bedtime it works best (again, this is prone to pilling if you layer too much or mix the wrong products). While I did notice an increase in radiance & firmness with one month of use, I didn't notice any lifting or change in texture as it claims. Maybe I will see more pronounced changes with longer use. Overall I am pleased with the results. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has a slightly medicinal smell (it reminds me vaguely of camphor) which – though not strong – isn't the greatest, its tendency to pill, & because it didn't correct every skin concern it claims. All in all I like it & will definitely continue to use it to see if results increase with time. *Due to the richness of the cream it may not be a good fit for all skin types. I love all my other Kiehl’s products and find them to be great for my combination somewhat sensitive skin. However, this specific product burns when I apply it to my face. Specifically around my nose and jawline. I’ve tried using it several times and I cannot get past it. It’s so uncomfortable. I’m surprised because I do not have any issues with the eye cream version of this. I received the product as a gifted item so will see if any of my friends can use it without irritation or I plan to just use on my neck and décolletage. I've been drinking Pure Leaf bottled iced teas for a while now with very little flavor selection in the stores, so I am happy to see some expansion into other flavors by this brand. #Mint is not an easy flavor of Pure Leaf to find locally, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a single serve bottled #tea of it in the refrigerated case in the #Target grocery section as opposed to the checkout lane mini fridges. I bought this because I’ve been suffering with peri menopausal naughty skin and I’ve been suffering from Pustular Rosacea consequently. My skin has truly been a nightmare for at least 6 months. Dry, flaky and red. I did some research and realised that I needed to moisturise with something that’s got very few ingredients in and so I chose this. I’ve only used it three days and I’m amazed! Now I have oily sensitive skin so I’m always a little wary with new products but this stuff has really agreed with my skin. This is the first morning I’ve woken up in a long time and been pleased to look at my skin. It looks healthy and no angry red dry areas. My review will be split into two parts: packaging and usage: Let’s start with packaging, I like it a lot. Simple yet informative, not too much things to read and all kept nice and tidy. Green and blue are also perfect for white background. When I have tried it on my hand it gave that silky smooth feeling and refreshment straight away. Only near my eyes, they got slightly swollen and become very watery. Strange as I have not applied anywhere near eye for that test. I had to wash my entire face to get allergy off. I re-applied it to hands and again all was very good and smooth. When applied into small area around my face, allergic reaction had re-occurred, so I had to terminated further tests. I was never known to have reaction to any other cosmetics, but it may as well be the sensitivity of my face that this cream is activating. I can however will all certainty say that if I was not allergic I would most probably have loved this cream. A very nice and smooth on the hands and a lovely smellArdnaa

I really like this moisturizer but I can’t find it where I live anymore. But they claim it hasn’t been discontinued so I will review it anyway. It really does what it says: hydrates. I’ve learned the hard way that there’s a difference between hydration and moisture and occlusion. My skin was in desperate need of the former after a long and ignorant battle with cystic hormonal acne in which I threw everything at it that so much as hinted at being able to help. This lovely tube came to my rescue. It sinks in like a dream and leaves my skin feeling soft and dewy with no shine or residue. My only complaint is the tube didn’t last very long. If, like me, you’re having trouble finding this in stores, Versed (Target’s new skincare line) has the best dupe I’ve found. It’s called Dew Point and comes in the prettiest mint green tube.kimmie.b
