20 Best Moisturiser For Dry Acne Prone Skin (Jan 2023 Update)

This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine. You really have to try it to believe it!ani.z

I bought this moisturizer to help with my oiliness when I go out. I try to buy lightweight moisturizers so it doesn’t leave a build up on my face and cause excess oil or breakouts. I bought this due to some reviews saying it helped on there oily skin a when I first tried it, I was amazed. Fast forward about the 4th time using it, going outside of the house. I decided to go out to grab a bite to eat an put this on about an hour before I was to go out. My face started to get oily again on my forehead and nose. I know the directions say you can replace up to 3 times a day so no biggie just added a little more and oiliness was gone. Bam!! My skin did not become overly oily and it held for about a hour again, got home washed my face. Had it on less than 3 hours, touched up twice. But after a few days of using it here and there, I started breaking out more. I thought it was just random so I stopped using it just in case and my acne started going away, no new breakouts. I waited about a week or so an tried again. It was fine for a few days but constantly having to reapply or clean my face throughly to start again to avoid the excess oil an it bought my breakouts back days after. I mainly breakout on my cheeks and my neck. I’ve been using this for about 5 weeks just to give a reference on time. I do have to say I have mixed reviews on this. Pros 1) it does take away the oil effortlessly.. 2) it doesn’t smell bad 3) it’s small an convenient to take anywhere for a touch up. 4) it goes nicely under makeup ( I tried once) 5) it’s creamy an smooth. 6) price is good Cons 1) you have to reapply numerously 2) some might not like the chemical smell 3) due to reapplying, you might run out the product quicker 4) potential breakouts ( I have but some might some may not.) 5) Not sure how it would hold up in higher temperatures outdoors/indoors. ( it’s been cooler where I live so can’t say if you will reapply more. 6) not sure how it works to reapply with makeup on. I did not leave mine on long enough to know. I’m extremely acne prone and also have sensitive skin, and it’s hard to find products that both tackle my blemishes and don’t irritate my face. So far, this moisturizer has been perfect. I bought this specifically for the term “mattifying”. I have oily skin on my forehead and I wanted a moisturizer that would seal that oil away during the day. Well, this is not that mattifying moisturizer I was looking for. After 4 hours of just sitting in my apartment, my forehead is oily as heck. So this didn’t achieve the one purpose I needed it for. On the other hand, Covergirl’s Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer actually keeps your face matte for a majority of the day. I would suggest that one if this Cetaphil moisturizer didn’t work for you.Becs

The texture is amazing and feels heavenly, it's like a whipped cream. And is quite heavy (in a good way). But unfortunately, it irritated the sensitive parts of my face, but then again my skin is pretty reactive. Maybe I used too much? (I used two pea sizes.) I love this moisturizer! I came across it on a YouTube video while looking for hydrating moisturizers. I have combination skin and my skin feels so hydrated after using this. It’s important to note that I pair this with the Laniege hyaluronic revitalizing toner which is also very hydrating. I also use an exfoliating cleanser, Paula’s Choice vitamin C serum and Innisfree sunscreen during the day. I use the moisturizer at night as well with other products. Love the combo! Okay, i have to leave a review because 1. this has been a staple product among the rest of my usual high end skin care for YEARS but 2. I feel like it only works on certain types of skin to make a difference. I used this all through high school and never really had acne so I couldn’t totally see the results of it. my skin is very dry and somewhat sensitive but this year once I started working out I started getting a little acne on my chin here and there and ended up using something from proactive with A LOT of retinol that ABSOLUTELY destroyed my skin barrier. my skin on my chin was chapped, insanely dry and red and after that acne started popping up everywhere on my chin, but not like regular pimples. they were huge and dry/cyst like. I started using harsh products and oily skin face wash to get rid of it (i’ve never had experience with acne so in my mind acne=oily skin) but little did i know it was because my skin barrier was so destroyed and dried up that THAT was the reason for all my breakouts! I decided to stop with all the harsh products and start from the basics with gentle, moisturizing products again. my skin was definitely thanking me for it but still had a small amount of acne on my chin. after applying hydrating toner and serum I would apply this product for my acne. my skin has been clearing faster than ever which shows me this product is not too drying and the perfect formula for my skin to help with my acne but also keep the skin moisturized. my skin barrier is still a work in progress lol but this product has been a lifesaver for me. not too much or too little, but just right for the dry/sensitive skin breakouts!d

The scent smells so good. I expected the size to be bigger but it's as big as my palm. The packaging looks nice and sturdy. It feels cool on the skin after applying. One of the reason why I bought this was because of its benefits and its ingredients, particulary salicylic acid which helps in combatting acne. I've battled with hormonal and cystic acne for a long time and it's been especially bad the last 2 years. I bought this set (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) to try and it has honestly been the ONLY thing that drastically reduced my oiliness and while I still get those big hormonal acne spots that's painful and has no head, it's significantly less. I bought this moisturizer on Amazon after previously using a $23 one that I finally used up. I wasn’t really expecting much as I think it only had 24 reviews but the majority were positive and for $10.99 I decided to try it out. Firstly, it’s lightweight but hydrates my skin and this is important for me because heavy moisturizers just irritate my skin that is already acne prone and can lead to me breaking out. Secondly, it has quality ingredients that are understandable and what I’ve been specifically looking for in a moisturizer, my last moisturizer had salicylic acid but didn’t offer many other beneficial ingredients that weren’t too harsh for the skin like this one. I have been using this with the toner now and my dark spots are fading from a recent whitehead breakout I had which turned into a huge pimple and left a really dark mark behind, I I feel like the two combined are really benefiting my skin. Lastly, this moisturizer is just everything my skin needs, it isn’t going to be for everyone and that’s a given with any product so remain open minded, but if you have normal skin (slightly oily around my t-zone and normal everywhere else) this could work for you and hopefully it does!KJTW

Listen, I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old. I have tried so many products on my face throughout the years. This is a lightweight moisturizer that never makes my combination/oily skin feel greasy. Nor does it make it feel tight or dry. My skin is ultra sensitive to products and I never have any stinging or tingling. I have noticed fewer breakouts and when I do inevitably have a pimple, I stick a peach slices acne patch on and typically it's gone within 2 to 3 days. I have gotten multiple comments on my skin from different people since I started using this moisturizer; including that my skin looks hydrated and glowy and beautiful. Which is some thing that was never said about my skin. The tiniest bit of product goes a long way too and I straight up just use this durning the day every day instead of CeraVe's moisturizing lotion… and wishing a couple of weeks my skin has looked wonderful. I'm not saying that this is going to be a cure for your acne, everyone is different.. but it certainly helped mine and I would recommend it to my closest friends.Becca

This sunscreen is the worst. I've tried it three or four times now, and every time it gets in my eyes and they end up burning, watery,and painful, even though I avoid the eye area, and sometimes hours later. I can't believe this is an offering from a premium brand like MB at this price point. It feels like I am putting regular for-your-body suntan lotion on my face. It's not particular greasy, but it does seem to just sit on your skin. There are countless better offerings for facial sunscreen out there. Cotz and Olay mineral are light years beyond this. I used this as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and using a toner. It absorbed into my skin well, and I loved the dewy way it made my skin look. I used the same small bottle for several months, so a little goes a long way! Unfortunately, it made my skin feel very congested, and my acne flared up. My pores were full of gunk, my face was really oily, and I started getting cystic acne on my face and neck. I quit using it three days ago and my skin has already calmed down immensely, and the cysts are going away. If you have skin that isn't acne-prone or is more dry, this could be great for you. This was my first purchase from PCA and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I've been dealing with a new wave of hormonal acne for a few months and was been looking for a gel texture moisturizer to hydrate my skin during the day. The acne treatments I've been using have dried out my skin pretty severely so when I saw that this was designed to sooth irritated skin and the very high reviews I was excited to try it out. If I use this on its own or preferably with a face oil (I've been using Sunday Riley UFO) my skin is fine, not the most hydrated it could be but pretty good for daily wear. BUT if I try to use this with a prescription benzoyl peroxide or dapsone my face tightens and dries out in a matter of minutes and I experience a burning sensation. I also find that if I try to put a thicker moisturizer on top to try and counteract it's drying/irritating effects it immediately pills and I'm left with thick globs of product around my face that don't absorb, rendering my entire routine pretty useless. I'd give this product 3 stars but it's ridiculously pricey for not very much product and very underwhelming results. I think this would work well for people with oily skin, but otherwise I think there are much better gel moisturizers out there.Anonymous

I like this moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way. It feels kind of like a mix between serum and cream. It tingles when you first apply it. You do have to let it dry before applying makeup because your skin is a little sticky until it’s completely absorbed. This is a good day time moisturizer. I got this moisturizer in my last Allure Beauty box subscription and I finished it two nights ago. Its a good moisturizer with no scent and white in color. Its also not thick. I have ridiculously oily skin. I’m talking about so-oily-you could cook-with-the-amount-of-oil-on-my-face, and it really didn’t do anything to keep the oil away. The Southern California humidity isn’t as bad as in some other places, but still. I’m pretty bummed because Caudalie usually has some pretty good products and I’m always looking for ways to mattify my skin. It also took me a while to figure out the best way to put this on. Upon application, I loved how lightweight it felt and how quickly it absorbed and didn’t leave a sticky feeling. However, one should never leave the house without SPF, so I experimented with ways to add this to my routine. No matter if I mixed this with my SPF or if I applied this first and then the SPF, my skin would still look and feel not quite oily, but not very matte. Bummer, right? It does have a nice, clean scent to it. I’m pretty sure it’s just the standard Vinopure line scent. It might be a big strong for those who are sensitive to scents, though. All in all, it was pretty underwhelming in terms of oil control, but it still felt nice as a moisturizer. I wouldn’t say it’s now my go-to. I have combination skin that can get very oily during the warm, humid summer months. As a result, It can be a struggle finding a moisturizer that is lightweight enough for me to wear during the day while still hydrating my skin. The vinopure oil-control moisturizer did a wonderful job of this and was even great when worn under makeup! I frequently have issues of my foundation breaking up after a few hours of wear if I use skincare before application, but this product didn't have that effect. It was lightly hydrating, enough that my skin felt smooth and plump, and it absorbed very quickly which i appreciated. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this product is fragrance-free since it does have a light scent to it but fragrances can be irritating to my skin. I also love that is comes in a tube! it may not feel as luxe as a pretty glass jar but it is far more hygienic and easier to use. I received a free sample of Caudalie's Vinopure Oil-Control Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin from Topbox Circle. Receiving a #freeproduct did NOT cause me to leave a positive review. I actually DO have oily, blemish prone skin. Normally I can't wear makeup or BB cream for more than an hour before my oily skin causes the makeup/BB cream to break up, look blotchy and patchy, and just overall terrible…. No matter what I apply to my face beforehand. The best mattifying primers and setting powders are just no match for my oily skin. The photo with the blue wall in the background is the "before" photo. I had just taken a shower and dried my hair. No product applied to my face at all, and you can already see my face is starting to look oily. In the other photo, several hours later, the only products I've used all day are the Vinopure Oil-Control Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin, Purlisse BB cream, and mascara. No primer, no touch ups or oil blotting sheets, no setting powder, no nothin. My face looks a little shiny but honestly it looks so much better than normal. My makeup isn't sliding off my face! Ive been using this moisturizer after showering in the morning, and after washing my face at night. It doesn't feel greasy at all and hasn't caused any new breakouts for me. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is because I find the scent totally repulsive… Thankfully the scent doesn't last long. If you're on the fence I think it's worth a try.lisatron138

I LOVE this moisturizer it feels so refreshing when applied to the skin doesn't have a smell which i don't mind. I used to use kiehl's facial cream but it just wasn't enough moisture for my skin and i found myself reapplying because my skin was still dry. I normally use this at night with facial oil and it just gives me that extra boost of moisture. During the winter my skin has definitely gotten dryer so i use this in the morning after my serums and before sunscreen and it does not make my skin oily throughout the day but still gives me enough moisture to where i don't see any flakiness. I have also have acne prone skin and this has not caused me to breakout whatsoever. It's so affordable as well compared to other products. The only thing i DONT like is the packaging… the product has a gel consistency and so the screw on cap is really inconvenient when applying the product to your hands and then your face, definitely would be nicer if it was in a pump.Banana

As strange as it is it has made my skin soft and smooth. I'm noticing I can also use it to deeply moisturize on the body. Elbows included. This is my first snail product and I actually quite like it. I received this moisturizer from Peach Slices in exchange for my honest review ~ I have tried several products that contained Snail Mucin as an ingredient. I found them all to be slimy and very off-putting. I just couldn't get over the texture. This moisturizer is nothing like that. It's more of a gel/cream combo. This is the perfect moisturizer for my blemish prone skin. It has a nice cooling effect when I apply it and soaks in quickly without leaving any stickiness behind. My skin has really started to clear up and I no longer have dry spots. The Snail Mucin works as an antibacterial and really binds moisture in. Cica, also an antibacterial, soothes and heals with its anti-inflammatory properties. This is the perfect moisturizer for anyone that has breakouts, dryness, dullness and uneven skin tone like me. I bought this to have a smaller sized everyday moisturiser yet there are so many flaws with this cream. Firstly, it smells and looks exactly like sorbolene cream. It reminds me of playing with my grandmas skin creams in the 90’s, the smell, the texture. Secondly, I exfoliate, cleanse, tone then moisturise. This doesn’t at all soak into my skin and when rubbed in it turns white and basically stays like that, then dries and leaves a sticky feeling. I'm very pleased with this moisturizer; it's lightweight and has absolutely no smell. It's more of a gel consistency than your average cream/lotion/moisturizer. I am still trying to get my ratio correct, I notice if I start at my cheeks and move inward, I am have the least amount of oils after a few hours- but if I start at the nose or forehead and work outwards, I tend to have a more oily T-zone (I also wear glasses 24.7)- But even still, I'm VERY pleased with the results; the oil I DO get isn't near the amount i would normally, so this is an improvement! The oil free moisturizer is good but packaging is defective. The cap nozzle is defective. Whenever I squeezed it the moisturizer comes out through and the area between the nozzle and the cap. Therefore moisturizer is being wasted because too much is coming out at once.Neneita Y.

I've decided I really like this moisturizer. It feels almost like a light gel moisturizer, and seems to sit on the skin more than other moisturizers I've used. I feel like my skin is protected this way and it is a nice light layer between my skin and makeup. And when I don't wear makeup, it is absorbed enough so that my skin looks hydrated but is still protected. I bought this because I was using the Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream, and I was looking for alternatives to that. I came across Hyram's video about the Dr. Jart products, and then found out that Hyram now has his own skincare line. In the video, I also learned that essential oils can be harmful to your skin just like how general "fragrance" is harmful. It seemed like Hyram has done lots of research and is very knowledgeable of different skincare ingredients. I'm glad I tried this. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually, foundation doesn't work with my skin very well. First of all how bad can you rate a product that helps the world around it? Honestly. I cannot explain how much I love this product and how much I wish I could buy more of it. I remember reading reviews saying that if you have dry skin then you should consider looking somewhere else, and let me tell you that is bull! I have combination skin, but I do often get flare-ups of eczema on my face. Never in my life have I had a product that was able to keep my skin moisturized and not oily at the same time. I felt that I had to sacrifice one thing for another and that is just NOT true. Life-changing, honestly. Working to buy the whole collection soon haha, a college student has to take their products once at a time. However, I definitely know that I will be buying them all from Selfless by Hyram. Bought this on a whim while on sale, not expecting much at all… I was shocked to find it controlling shine in my oil-slick of a T-zone, while simultaneously hydrating enough to prevent settling/breakdown in my under eye area. Absorbs quickly and doesn’t pill if over-applied (I run late often and in my haste have been known to overdue it). But this was definitely a win for me! Side note: after reading other reviews I was so confused by the comments regarding the scent. I made a point of checking mine as I applied, and then again rubbed into the back of my hand. I don’t smell, well, anything… good, bad or otherwise. Perhaps this changes with age/use/air exposure? I’ll watch for it.MsAppy

I am obsessed with this moisturizer. I work in the skincare world so I’ve bought and been gifted and tried a million moisturizers and this has quickly become my go to. It’s the perfect every day moisturizer, not too thin but not too thick either. Feels so smooth and hydrating going on, never leaves me feeling greasy or oily. I just stared to use a stronger prescription retinoid (tretinon) and this moisturizer layers on top of it perfectly, keeps my skin from being too dry or flaky, and is great day or night. I have tried many many moisturizers over the years and this is definitely in my top five! First of all I was skeptical when I first got it because when you squeeze it out it looks like lotion, and I was like heck nah I ain't putting lotion on my face so I did a spot test on my hand before I did a spot test on my cheek (plz always do spot tests, you never know how your skin is going to react to a new product) GIRL it doesn't look like it would glide on thick but it's THICC, with two Cs. A little goes a longggg way, you can feel the hydration after one use. and if you don't want a thicc moisturizer, don't buy this but if you do it's perfect for you! I use it as my night skin care routine moisturizer and when I wake up in the morning my face is soooooo soft! I thoroughly enjoyed using the Hero bacteria Balance Moisturizer! It went on my face easily and didn't feel sticky or greasy which was great! Also it didn't have any bad smell. I'm a big fan of the Farmacy brand but this moisturizer was a huge disappointment for me. I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer that was still hydrating and would work well alone or under makeup and after reading reviews, I settled on this one. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. It is indeed lightweight, but it did not give me enough hydration. I do have dry skin but I've used other lightweight moisturizers that offered more hydration. I did not bother testing it out under makeup due to the sheer fact that worn alone, any hydration it did offer seemed to dissipate fairly quickly after application. Overall, while I liked the consistency and even the slight tackiness, my dry skin just wasn't a good fit for this moisturizer. That said, this may work well for other skin types and does live up to the lightweight claims. I love the Farmacy brand, their ingredients and packaging but I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin.sabrina.s

This is my absolute favorite moisturizer, hands down! I used up the sample I received from my FabFitFun box in 2018 and saved the container so I wouldn't forget one of my favorite moisturizers. I've tried many different moisturizers over the last 10 years, but none have compared to Honey Drop! It's super lightweight and non-greasy. It smells lovely, and the packaging is gorgeous. Honey Drop has got to be the most underrated Farmacy product. This stuff is incredible! I live in South Florida where the humidity is nuts, and as I'm entering my mid-thirties, my skin has suddenly gotten oilier, so I have been hunting for a perfect daytime moisturizer for a few years now. Kiehls had a great clay one that of course was discontinued not long after I started using it. I found Farmacy about a year later, after trying several light, oil-free moisturizers that just did not do it for me. Honey Drop is the only moisturizer I can wear during the day that is super lightweight, good for my sensitive skin, and doesn't make my face feel greasy (even Daily Greens didn't do it for me). GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL!!!!! This moisturizer was perfect until they decided to combine the 'Positively Radiant' with the 'Clear 'Complexion'. It was perfect without the positively radiant added. Please change it back!!! I HATE this. It is now too heavy & oily for my senstive, yet acne prone skin. Any do they always change a good thing? If it isn't broke, DON'T FIX IT!!! I am really upset!!! I've been using this for years! As has my teen age daughter. It's the only thing that works, and that my make-up goes on smooth over. I tried the one with the new brown top and it isn’t good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! This product saved my skin. I had a face full of acne and eventually decided to begin my own research. I came across this and it became the beginning of a wonderful journey that led to a perfectly clear face. Think of this as a foundation for great skin. You’ll have to see what other products you can add to further improve your acne. For me, it was this and retinol. I also added vitamin C and tea tree oil. My eye area doesn’t like retinol, so I avoid it there. The point is that this product can’t alone do the heavy lifting of perfecting your skin, but it helps allow it to happen than any expensive products and facials I’ve ever had. My skin is naturally oily and within a week of using this moisturizer, it dried out my face completely. I had to stop using it because I started getting dry patches. I used it twice a day (morning and night) and when I would wake up the next morning from using it the previous night my face would be so dry and cracked. You could visibly see the dryness and that’s scary for me because as I mentioned, my face is naturally oily. I’ve stopped using the moisturizer a day or two ago and I’m not using an oil and Vaseline and still my face is super dry. Hopefully my skin gets back to normal soon. I decided to purchase this product after having it recommended by an Ulta employee. I have oily, acne prone skin. This moisturizer did not absorb well into my skin and felt like it sat on top of my skin. It made my skin feel like it couldn't breathe and was uncomfortable. Honestly I am so happy with this moisturizer. The price point is incredible for how long the tube will last because of its thickness. It isn’t the most luxurious texture but I just apply it with wet hands to make it apply well and it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on my skin at all- just fresh and matte! I honestly love the aloe-like texture of it, it doubles as eyebrow gel…for real it works perfect. And my skin has been so much better than with any other product!! I eased into using it because it did feel potent at first and now after a few weeks of using it twice a day my skin texture has improved so much and I haven’t had any blemishes. My skin gets dry in the winter and this is actually healing the dry spots. I received a sample of the original formula and LOVED it. I have combination skin and have always had issues finding a good moisturizer. This one was light and easy to apply evenly. A little bit went a loooong way too. My makeup blended so much better than with any other one I’ve ever tried, and my cheeks didn’t dry out at all like with every other one I’ve tried. I was excited to find a moisturizer that worked so well and was extremely disappointed to learn it was not the same when I purchased the newly formulated moisturizer. This doesn’t do anything more for my skin than a $10 drug store moisturizer has done. I didn’t realize it had been reformulated or else I would not have purchased. I use both the rejuvenate and the replenish creams from SkinMedica. The Rejuvenate cream (this one) is much lighter and thinner, almost waterier, spreads quickly and has a very light scent. I wear it as a base for thicker creams or when my face feels oily. The Replenish cream (which looks very similar to this one on the site) is much thicker, super hydrating but has a stronger smell that isn’t as nice.A.J.

I am a self proclaimed makeup and skin care junkie. I read a great deal and like trying new things, This did not disappoint. My skin is dry in the winter and I needed a good moisturizer that both absorbed well and moisturized my skin. The consistency was perfect. This is an honest review! I received a sample of this cream in the mail last spring. I loved it so much, I bought the full-sized jar from my dermatologist. I use it nightly after my retinol and serum, and I wake up every morning with dewy soft supple skin. I have had a severe health concern the past 4 years along with going through menopause which resulted in some dramatic changes to my skin and am so grateful that I found this cream. A big plus is that it doesn’t pill up after layering my products like many other creams do. I love its cooling effect on my skin too most likely from the natural herbs such as peppermint oil. I have tried so many different moisturizers, but this one is by far the best. I have been wanting to try the A.G.E cream but haven’t yet because this works so well. I am a big skinceuticals fan and I love almost all of their products. When it comes to their products, since they have such an expansive and high quality array of products it’s more about choosing what you need based on your current skin condition. I love this product for the spring, summer, and fall because during that time of year my skin doesn’t need as much moisture and this moisturizer provides the perfect amount of moisture. During winter I usually switch to a slightly heavier moisturizer. For this moisturizer another added benefit I like is the slight sheer to it and this is coming from someone who loves a matter finish. There is something really illuminating about this moisturizer that I really enjoy. Lastly, I would say it slightly and I mean very slightly helps reduce the look of large pores but that is mainly something I notice after a month of use. The texture of my skin is so smooth, the discoloration is fading, my pores are smaller, and my big forehead wrinkle between my brows is not as deep. I cannot wait to see what the results are after long-term usage. For the night time cream, I'm really happy with how a little dab will go so far! It's super hydrating. I have been using Needle-less serum for 2 years. I do love how it makes my skin feel, however I do not use it 2x a day so I have not really noticed my fine lines getting any smoother. I have researched and learned that if you use a vitamin C, you should not use this serum, as it has peptides in it. I use vitamin c in the morning so skip the Needle-less serum in the pm. I also use DRMTLGY sunscreens and love them so much. The tinted ones are my favorite! I am now going to try their peptide night cream after seeing many positive reviews.Lisa

This is such a perfect moisturizer. It's versatile and can br used at night or during the day, it can be layered on itself for added hydration when you need it, and it's so gentle and plays nicely with other products. I use it at night but I may use it during the day in winter. It's somehow light enough to absorb completely but makes my skin feel completely hydrating and not wanting for more. Had been using this cream for about 3 years, then i started using retinol and this cream irritated the s*it out of my face, like full on redness and burning sensation. I tried incorporating it on my routine for like 2 weeks and it kept irritating me, so i had to stop. Its good for a basic routine of cleanser- moisturizing- sunscreen, but the parfum in it might be reactive with other heavier creams or ingredients. I started using this cream because my dermatologist recommended it after starting taking Accutane to treat my acne. Because of the treatment my skin became extremely dry, irritated and literally nothing would help me. This is really the only cream that would moisturize my skin and sooth it.
