I received this sample of Jack Black Beard Lube from Sephora and gave it to my Dad to try out. I'd like to preface this review by stating that my Dad is very much set in his ways and particular about his shaving regimen. For 40 years, he's used the same shaving cream. About 12 years ago (thanks to me), he added a balm that he uses after shaving with his cream to achieve an even closer shave, when necessary – generally, whenever his blade is on its 3rd or 4th use. He shaves his entire beard and sideburns – maintains a full mustache. He shaves daily and is not prone to irritation. Big Pro: He was impressed that the Beard Lube eliminated the need to use the balm to achieve a closer shave; his blade was on its 4th use and the Lube still gave him the perfect shave. He also appreciated how well the Lube softened his coarser hairs pre-shave. Cons: (1) He said it felt greasy upon application – his face did not have the 'clean' feel that his shave cream provides. (2) The Lube left his face oily post shave, so much so that he felt the need to remove excess oils with a warm cloth. This Lube contains oils for conditioning so that makes sense – but oil on the face is not something my Dad is used to and he did not like it at all. He also felt the need to use his regular Balm to give his face the after-shave feel he likes (I guess that fresh tingly sensation scent). (3) The translucency of the Lube made it difficult to see what areas of the face had already been shaven (funny because the translucency is supposed to help you see where you are shaving to avoid mishaps – but he didn't see it that way). Overall, he very much enjoyed the result of the close shave and would purchase the travel size to use while on vacation because it eliminates the need of second shave with his balm (less to pack / carry). He also said it would be handy while on-the-go to take care of a 5 o'clock shadow if there was an event after work. He also likes that he can get longer use out of his blades without sacrificing a close shave or risking potential nics due to a dulling blade — which would save money. For daily shaving, he intends to stick with his 2-step cream balm regimen but he would highly recommend the Beard Lube to men with sensitive skin that becomes irritated from razor shaving. I'm thinking the Jack Black 'Cushioning Shave Lather' may be a better option for some like my father…tiffany michele.r
I love Jack Black products and use way to many of them! I saw someone else mention travel sizes and you responded that there is a 3oz tube. I travel almost every week for 1 to 2 nights and I am carry on only. This means that I am limited to one ziploc bag so fitting all the JB products I use, plus the rest, even in a 3oz size is simply not possible. I also try to reduce my plastic usage wherever possible, so while I kind of live off the samples (and often time orders to so I can get larger samples of things I use anyway, I hate doing that. Ideally you would have smaller, refillable containers that could be used for a variety of different products. I would actually pay good money for that. I've tried using old contact lens cases but that's not ideal because I think too much air gets in and the product degrades.Joshua
Excellent product! Great body lotion part of my daily routine. I usually lather it in after a shower. The lotion absorbs to the skin fast and ideal for moisturizing my skin. It does a better job than others probably because of the ingredients with eucalyptus and aloe. The lotion leaves my skin feeling soft smooth and nourishing sensation. I love this moisturizer! I came across it on a YouTube video while looking for hydrating moisturizers. I have combination skin and my skin feels so hydrated after using this. It’s important to note that I pair this with the Laniege hyaluronic revitalizing toner which is also very hydrating. I also use an exfoliating cleanser, Paula’s Choice vitamin C serum and Innisfree sunscreen during the day. I use the moisturizer at night as well with other products. Love the combo! I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.phoebe
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration for Dry Parched Skin is a moisturizing cream perfectly suited for irritated or sensitized skin. It contains colloidal oatmeal and allantoin to calm and sooth skin. In addition to squalane and ceramides, it contains shea butter to moisturize and protect the skin barrier. This product is dermatologist tested, contains no artificial fragrance, and is safe for sensitive skin. I received a sample of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream from Sephora earlier this year. I had the opportunity to use it when I recently experienced patchy facial dryness after changing my skincare routine. I applied a thin layer to my face over serum and mucin toner before bed. I woke with plump, smooth skin that was no longer irritated and dry. I have combination-oily skin and found this to be moisturizing without causing my t-zone to become excessively oily. It worked well as a nighttime moisturizer but is quite heavy and would not be a good choice for daytime wear under makeup for my skin type in my opinion. This ample sample lasted through two full face applications. It is a great intense moisturizer for all skin types and perfect choice for those needing a barrier repair or skin cycling option. I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff. This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients. I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. Why I like it: I bought this online, not knowing that it had been reformulated since the website still shows the picture of the old bottle and has the old ingredients list. The old one is called Lipikar Balm AP+ Intense Repair Moisturizing Cream, while the new one is called Lipikar AP+M Triple Repairing Moisturizing Cream, so if you get a bottle that says the latter, it's the new version. I was nervous to try the new one since I had used the old one for a little over a year as both a body lotion and face moisturizer at night for my dry skin and it had worked wonders. It kept my skin moisturized without breaking me out, which is impressive for such a thick moisturizer. New vs. old formula: This new formula is pretty similar, but not quite as good. It takes longer to rub in than the old one, and at first it feels a little stickier, although it doesn't stay sticky for too long. The textures are pretty similar, but this new one feels a little airier or slightly more whipped, and when it comes out of the bottle it doesn't come out as smoothly, like there are lots of air pockets in it, which is a bit of a pain. On the skin though it feels pretty much the same. The main ingredient difference between the two seems to be that the old one had mineral oil while this one doesn't, and this one has ceramides while the old one didn't. My initial reaction when using this moisturizing cream was how thick it is. It's incredibly easy to smooth on the skin and you dont need a lot of product to cover your entire body. But something felt odd about it after it started drying down. It felt heavy like my skin was coated. Using it again I finally figured out what was happening. This cream's first ingredient is water. Another ingredient is Shea Butter. These are great ingredients, in winter, because it's for extra dry skin. It's also accepted by the National Eczema Association. During the winter months this is absolutely what my skin needs and I look forward to using it then, when I know my skin will absolutely drink it in and love it. But, right now it's summer in the Midwest and temperatures have been high 90s/ low 100s for several weeks and with the high humidity that comes along with that, it's just too much moisture for my skin to handle. Other than that, this product is amazing. Not only for it's Eczema relieving properties but also because it's suitable for babies and adults. It's also suitable for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. (Consult your trusted medical professional prior to using.) The bottle is also made from 96% recycled plastic (excluding pump). I have had a hard time finding a good moisturizer for my eczema which mostly affects my face. I was looking for one I can use at night that is super hydrating and this is it. I will say it's probably not something you would want to wear as your daytime moisturizer because it is extremely visible (greasy looking?) and it does feel thick at first but it's extremely worth it. I also am very acne prone and this did my make me break out. I do have a steroid cream prescription that kind of helps but I had some really stubborn spots that wouldn't go away. In addition to my prescription I use the lanolin gold salve on the areas that are really eczema prone. I have been using the lanolin/steroid cream combo for months and while they help I have only been using this moisturizer for about a week and it seems to be the final piece of the puzzle to solve my eczema. Point is you probably won't regret this purchase. I do wish I had the bigger bottle with the pump though because it is a better deal and I think pumps are better than caps.Frank

Good bang for your buck. If you buy the economy size it’s one of the cheapest per oz. at Sephora. I use it on days when I won’t be outside a lot or getting a lot of sun exposure, usually in the fall or winter. After switching from Clinique’s “even better” SPF20 moisturizer I am thoroughly impressed, and at nearly half the price (@Ulta for $28.00 vs $50.00) Jack Black is on point. This SPF20 cream comes out white and is thin, it absorbs very quickly but you only need 1 full pump to cover the face, another 1/2 pump for neck jawline. Non greasy and non-comedogenic the natural feeling formula has a subtle sage fragrance and uses natural organic products. This product is marketed for men. However, I would recommend this double duty moisturizer to girls guys whom desire an affordable higher quality SPF moisturizer (which is SUPER important to have wear daily, the sun is a war-zone on your skin!) many moisturizers do not contain SPF be sure to get one that does if you don’t normally wear sunscreen. Product is marketed as an “advanced facial treatment” I do not see a noticeable change in skin pigmentation so this is a great product for people with sensitive skin (which I have). I was having trouble with acne because, as I discovered later, my skin was too dry. I got a professional facial and the esthetician used this moisturizer on me. She gave me a sample to take home and said not to use it more than a couple times a week. I started using it daily and within about 5-7 days of consistent use, 90% of my acne was gone. I also changed my cleanser to something milder, which helped. I use .01% Retin A every night and this moisturizer helps a lot with the dryness. It’s not expensive either. I am a big fan of EltaMD products and have been really enjoying this Moisturizer. I purchased the one in the tube and I love how easy it is to get the product out and that it is more sanitary. I generally do not like skincare products in tubs so this is a great alternative to those containers. I apply an occlusive layer after my moisturizer to lock in moisture and find that my dry, irritated skin is much happier when I do. This product is one of the best moisturizers I have used in a very long time. I've been using it at night, but also a few times a week in the mornings and then just wiping it off like a mask product. It is amazing how dewy your skin feels and looks after using EltaMD Intense Moisturizer. Oh and it says it melts – it sure does! A little goes a long way and I'm even using it on my lips. This may be my new favorite product.

Smells exquisite and really hydrating especially if applied on damp skin post shower. However, I dislike the packaging. It's hard to squeeze the product out and I always have to position it upside down in my shelves make sure the product goes all the way to the opening. It's also impossible to get all the product out without cutting the bottle. Here's a fix: add a pump. I'll probably have to cut it open again still but a pump would fix most issues.
I don't think it's possible to love this stuff more than I do! First off ..the only con is packaging. When will they realize it needs to be in a tub?! It's getting more frustrating over time having to cut open the bottle to get to all the product. But for the moment it's worth it. It smells divine and it works. Every fall, winter, and spring my hands get very very dry and crack. I also get an odd rash on my wrists when my hands get really dry (ezcema?). I have tried a hoard of lotions (Aveeno, Goldbond, Jergins, Palmers, Vaseline, etc.) throughout the years. Nothing has worked as well as Shea Moisture! I use this lotion twice a day on my hands and occassionaly more after a shower and my skin is so soft and smooth and my hands no longer crack and rash is gone. Although I combine with the Shea Moisture African Black Soap body wash. But the combo is 10/10.Kelly

i love this moisturizer for various reasons. on top of having amazing ingredients, this is one of two moisturizers that work perfectly with my combo skin– providing sufficient hydration to moisturize the dry parts but also being light enough to not turn my t-zone into an oil slick. this is also an all-year-rounder for me, being perfect for all seasons. can't really ask for much more than that. to address all the reviews that stated it burned, this product does contain lactic & citric acid which are AHAs and are meant to help exfoliate the skin for a soft & supple look, on top of helping to fade any pigmentation or scarring. if you are new to chemical exfoliants, i can imagine that you will feel this. for the aficionados, you likely won't feel a thing. side note: even though i am constantly burning the skin on my face off, i do get some strange tingling/numbing sensation within the first minute of application if i haven't used it for a while. i disregard this as it goes away and nothing bad has ever happened.kn24
I got this moisturizer because it's one of the only brands with good EWG scores. I wasn't expecting much because on the whole I don't think clean beauty delivers as good results as regular skincare, but this surpassed my expectations in every way! I have rosacea and quite sensitive, very dry skin. Despite this, I hate creamy creams so I'm always looking for a gel moisturizer that still packs a punch. I've been using this throughout the Chicago winters (harsh winds and dry heating) and my skin has stayed dewy and plump. I would never normally apply a moisturizer without cleansing my skin first, but on my laziest days I felt I could apply this just throughout the day because it's non irritating and would never break me out. My skin used to be so dry it would get tiny bumps all over as a coping mechanism / to hold onto moisture and they've completely gone since using this product. This also doesn't pill no matter what I put underneath. I've used different vitamin c serums, acids (lactic, Glycolic etc), different hydrating serums and different eye serums all together (like 5 layers) and it has never pilled! Some clean products don't hold up well over time, but travelled to Brazil with hot temperatures and dipped my fingers in here at the gym, in the airpirt and different hotels over the course of 4 months and the color, consistency, smell and efficacy is the same as when I first opened it. I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.phoebe

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff. This product though? I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that. I usually really struggle in winter but the face oils with a good moisturiser, regular hyaluronic acid use and not going overboard with actives is key for me.claire.b

I read reviews before buying this as I wanted a more affordable secondary moisturiser and I have been loving the Cataphil cleanser, so I wanted to give this a try. I would consider this a very basic moisturiser, with a clean finish and no greasiness, which is great, but not one that I would consider terribly effective or hydrating. It sits very lightly on the skin so might be more beneficial in summer when skin is naturally more plump, but in winter when I am writing this review, there is little to celebrate with this purchase. This is a very light weight cream. Feels rather water based which is great for my combination acne prone skin. I also have very sensitive skin with eczema on my nose. It does not irritate me or inflame my eczema at all. It hydrates my skin very well for day time use. I don’t notice any fragrance and nothing burns so that’s a huge plus. Highly recommend for day time use. I wouldn’t recommend this for night time use as I try to go for a heavier cream for night time routine. I have tried quite a few different drug store facial moisturizers and this is by far the best for me. I have very dry and sensitive skin. It turns pink easy (one light scratch and it stays pink for 15-20 minutes) and it flakes off. When I use this it gives me very minor irritation (a bit tingly) that goes away in a few seconds. It feels very light and absorbs quickly. It leaves the skin glowing. Also something I really love that I have not been fortunate enough to avoid with other moisturizers is it does not clump up if you rub your face. It locks in really well!Maddy

This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine. You really have to try it to believe it!ani.z

I'm a big fan of the Farmacy brand but this moisturizer was a huge disappointment for me. I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer that was still hydrating and would work well alone or under makeup and after reading reviews, I settled on this one. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. It is indeed lightweight, but it did not give me enough hydration. I do have dry skin but I've used other lightweight moisturizers that offered more hydration. I did not bother testing it out under makeup due to the sheer fact that worn alone, any hydration it did offer seemed to dissipate fairly quickly after application. Overall, while I liked the consistency and even the slight tackiness, my dry skin just wasn't a good fit for this moisturizer. That said, this may work well for other skin types and does live up to the lightweight claims. I love the Farmacy brand, their ingredients and packaging but I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin.sabrina.s
This is my absolute favorite moisturizer, hands down! I used up the sample I received from my FabFitFun box in 2018 and saved the container so I wouldn't forget one of my favorite moisturizers. Honey Drop has got to be the most underrated Farmacy product. This stuff is incredible! I live in South Florida where the humidity is nuts, and as I'm entering my mid-thirties, my skin has suddenly gotten oilier, so I have been hunting for a perfect daytime moisturizer for a few years now. Kiehls had a great clay one that of course was discontinued not long after I started using it. I found Farmacy about a year later, after trying several light, oil-free moisturizers that just did not do it for me. Honey Drop is the only moisturizer I can wear during the day that is super lightweight, good for my sensitive skin, and doesn't make my face feel greasy (even Daily Greens didn't do it for me). I've been using this moisturizer for almost 2 years now, and besides the price point, I genuinely love how it leaves a deep dewy glow on my face other moisturizers I've tried just can't quite replicate, unless they're 4-5 times the price, and even then I find myself still reaching for this one. Over time I've seen a real difference in the dryness and lines on my forehead and crows feet around my eyes. This is from the serums I'm using too of course, not just the moisturizer, as I've been working hard at putting together a really effective skincare routine and reading lots of ingredient reviews, but I can tell this moisturizer plays a big part in the overall results I'm seeing. The other great thing here, besides it leaving my skin dewy (without being too shiny), is it seems to penetrate the deeper layers of skin as I've noticed towards the end of the day when I'm on my way home from work, my skin still feels pretty soft. I will say, the one drawback to this moisturizer is it takes about 15-20 seconds to get it to melt and blend into my skin, so you've got to be aware of this, and work it a bit as it's white cast galore at first, even on my fair skin. It doesn't instantly melt like many lotions, it does disappear with no white cast after the 15-20 seconds and getting warmer from the natural warmth of your skin. So don't give up lol – it's worth it! Recently I've discovered a fantastic hack for the longer blending time though! I decided to try out the Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (by the Ordinary as well) as my last step before applying the moisturizer. It's an antioxidant serum with a bit of an oily finish, but not too oily. And oh wow! It makes the consistency just a tiny bit more slick to where it instantly blends, almost no initial white cast, and the finished results look even more glowy and supple. It's hard to describe other than fantastic! I sometimes find myself touching my face because I can't believe how soft it is. Yes that's mine! Also, a little goes a long way here. My most recent bottle of this stuff, the larger 3.3 oz/100mL size, lasted over a year and a half of use at frequency of ~4 days/week. You really only need just barely a pea-size amount to create ample moisture and to seal everything in my experience. It also doesn't have an unpleasant smell like some "unscented" products, it's a truly neutral scent which I appreciate as it's the last layer, besides sunscreen, and I find myself unable to use products with any strong smell on my face. I bought this product in January and now we're in July and it's still not finished! I use it 2x daily and a little goes a veryyy long way. First, I apply the Ordinary serums (HA 2% + B5, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc, and Caffeine 5%) and then the moisturizer. Together, they've done wonders to my skin. I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and it was SO difficult to find a clean, non-toxic and affordable moisturizer. I tried so many different brands and wasted so much money looking for just-the-perfect moisturizer and I can honestly say this is it. Knock on wood, this product works like a charm on my skin. It keeps my skin hydrated and smooth and gives it a healthy glow. It also reduces the redness from the dermatitis so it keeps my skin calm and not irritated at all. I use it on my face, neck and hands. Don't apply too much of it though. I wait a few minutes and then add an SPF cream afterwards. I have to say every time I use this my skin is screwed up for a week afterwards. I bought an entire regimen from theordinary and it just doesn't work. I'm not going to leave a review for every piece but none of them work at all. None of them are useful and all of them dry out my skin, give me a horrible texture, oiliness and mad blackheads. Almost all of them irritate my skin in some way, and I do not get that issue with any skin product I've tried in my life, no matter how cheap. I'm only going to bother reviewing this one because it's the worst one, but I honestly would recommend staying far far away from this entire line. I don't really have the same issues that others have, I have no problem warming it up in my hands, it applies evenly and the absorption is fine. I don't find it gives any type of white film. The issue is it just actively makes your skin worse. Face does not feel moisturised after usage, and then in a few hours you have oilier skin than you did as a teen. It does say it's oil free but you would never guess it from the feel of it. It kind of feels like a lube instead of a moisturiser. I'm a guy who just buys whatever is on offer so I've used many and I've never seen anything like this. Maybe I'm ignorant and this is what more expensive moisturisers are like? I genuinely feel like I must be doing something wrong, but frankly I've never needed instructions for a moisturiser and have always had better results, and if it's possible to apply a moisturiser incorrectly that's just another reason to give it 1 star tbqh. I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. This has a runny texture, but it is quite rich and a little bit greasy. It glides on the skin really well and protects well against UV rays, even in summertime. It does break me out a little, as it never fully absorbs, but it didn't sting my eyes as many (almost all) chemical sunscreens do. I wouldn't say I looked greasy with it, it was more of a dewy shine. I've used this moisturizer for many, many years. As I've gotten older I've tried anti-aging moisturizers with active ingredients, but they are not always friendly to my dry skin. I've concluded that I will let serums add the active ingredients into my regimen, but this product effectively moisturizes, sites beautifully under makeup, and provides sunscreen. My skin absolutely loves it. I think you need dry skin to appreciate the ultra-facial moisturizer because it is a little oily at first. But it sinks into my skin beautifully after a few minutes. I have recently tried Kiehl's Ultra Facial Advanced Butter and think it was great. I have farely dry skin in the winter and tend to get eczema on my forehead. This cream was very rich and thick and creamy, which worked great to rehydrate my skin and especially helped sooth the eczema on my forehead. Within about 3 days of using on my face my dry winter skin was much healthier looking and rehydrated. The redness went away as well. I am honestly OBSESSED with Ponds products. Let me start off by saying that I have tried everything and nothing worked for me long term, except this brand. I have been plagued with acne since about 9 years old, and it was awful. Literally my entire body was covered, I had to be placed on Accutane twice, and I still have it to this day. What I realized though, that acne products dry out my skin, leading my body to produce EVEN MORE OIL to combat the dryness. It was extremely affordable, so worth a shot right? I love how simple it is. After trying the cold cream morning and night and the dry skin lotion just at night for the first time, I was hooked. The first few times made me feel like I was slathering my face in motor oil, but after about a week I noticed my skin tone evening out, the dry patches were completely gone, and my acne and acne scars were fading! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been using this line for over a year now, and my skin is the healthiest it’s ever been. If I could give this product 6 stars, I would. It’s an amazing product. This is my new favorite nighttime/ winter time moisturizer. I have dry to normal skin and the winter is brutal for me. My face gets so dry and tight. This stuff is amazing. You get a solid 12 hours of silky hydration. It does leave you feeling "greasy" for a bit after you put it on but it's got multiple oils in it so I expect that and don't mind it. If you have oily skin this may not be for you but my dry skin baddies will love this. Only caveat — doesn't work well under makeup, it causes liquid eyeliner to separate and crease but that is not a deal breaker for me. Great product, love this so much. This is a nice moisturizer for those that need a lighter product, but for me it's not moisturizing enough (I have fairly dry skin and I'm 34). Also, it's definitely causing some kind of burning/stinging reaction. It first came over my neck, very severely actually, but even after leaving it off my neck a few days I'm starting to feel it on my face as well. I suspect the culprit is the squalane; I had a nearly identical reaction after trying The Ordinary retinol in squalane serum. At the time I chalked it up to the retinol, but I've used other retinol products and had nowhere near this bad of a reaction. I want to love this product, but it's just not for me. If you need a very light moisturizer and know you enjoy squalane I'd encourage you to try it.Erinzo

I love this! It’s light and it doesn’t effect my dry, sensitive skin. It’s not greasy, absorbs into my skin really well and feels like a layer of moisture protection when I rub it on. I gave 4 stars bc the only thing I don’t like about it, is that there is no covering for the nozzle where the product comes out besides this tiny plastic stopper. It’s so small you can easily lose that and then there’s nothing stopping the pump from closing.Amanda
I bought this moisturizer because I needed something that was safe to use during my laser sessions as this cream doesn’t have any fragrance or AHA’s/BHA’s as far as I know. I hated it. The only thing I like is the packaging, but it’s too big for my small hands to pump out. The cream is so thick which got me excited but it just sits on your face. It does not moisturize whatsoever. It drives me NUTS! You HAVE to use a serum underneath because this moisturize sits on your face like Vaseline, it’s very waxy/balmy. If you watch the “how to use” video you can see white streaks on Jessica’s face and that is literally what this cream does, gives you white streaks that you need to blend out like a foundation. This is the first-ever moisturizer that gives me white streaks on my face lol it’s so weird I don’t understand this product whatsoever! I have dry/combination skin.Hyaa
I loved everything about this moisturizer except sometimes it felt as though it was sitting on top of my skin. However, even when it seemed that way and didn't totally sink in, it still sat beautifully under makeup AND moisturized my skin really well. I suffer from very sensitive skin, fungal acne/folliculitis on my face as well as acne. This absolutely calmed all of those and did not cause a flare up. I can tell within two days if a product will irritate or cause breakouts and this did not! 🙂Holly
