The has been my go to staple product for the over 17 years I have been doing hair professionally. I love that they have the regular for more coarse, damaged, thick hair and the Lite for fine, thin hair. I have found from clients expressing concerns when using this that the biggest issue is people use way too much incorrectly. Pro Tip This goes for all products that you are putting in your hair, always start with a dime size if not smaller amount and when it all over your hands as if you rubbing lotion on tops of hands, inbetween fingers, etc . Start running your fingers through the ends of your hair moving up the hair shaft towards the scalp. If you have extremely fine or thin hair you can either just quickly run your fingers with what ever minimal product is left at the roots or skip the routes all together. When you apply the product in this manner it ensures that you were not getting big globs of hair product in only one place of the hair and instead evenly distribute the product. If you feel you need more at another dime size or smaller amount and again starting at the ends or mid shaft and apply.Anonymous
Loved this serum, its very expensive but worth it to me. Not only is the product great, you get quite a bit and you only need like a dime sized amount at MOST, so a little goes a long way and it will last you at least a few months probably even more. It has a nice smell to it, and doesnt feel greasy on the hair at all. It adds so much softness to my hair, makes my hair smooth and shiney, and keeps any frizz from acting up. Im really interested in trying out other products they offer because I liked this so much. It definitely lives up to the hype. I also used it as a preshampoo treatment, basically drenched my hair in it, left it on my hair for about 20 minutes, heated it up with a blow dryer for about 5 minutes and then rinsed and cleaned my hair and my hair felt sooooo amazing. Also, it might be weird to some people, but it has actual silk in it, like from a silkworm, which I find to be really interesting. I dont know the benefits of silk on the hair, but this product definitely works Highly recommend for all hair types. My hair is fried from going blonde so often, but usually it bounces back quickly. Well after going the lightest Ive ever been in September 2019, I decided to take better care of my hair. I bought bio silk because the description made it seem like an awesome reconstructive solution that would help the damaged appearance while fixing it. I also swore off heat products, and only got baby lights to blend my roots a little in January. Aside from that Ive just been extremely gentle with my hair, used hydrating high end shampoo and conditioner….and biosilk. I noticed my ends continued to be like straw so I cut 6 inches off and spot cut all my split ends. So I was beyond surprised when not too long afterward my ends once again felt like fried straw because prior to my use of biosilk my hair always bounced back well After 7 months of deliberate care and use of biosilk, youd think my hair would be soft and shiny as they advertise. Instead my hair is dry, brittle and breaking. Wasnt till I read reviews on here that made me realize its the biosilk Ive been using religiously. I've been using NaturAll Club products exclusively for a year now. My hair has never looked this good. It's in the best condition that it has ever been in and the growth is phenomenal. This is my first time using this moisturizer. I applied it after rinsing out my avocado deep conditioner, which I leave in overnight. I oiled my scalp, applied this moisturizer, and sectioned my hair in triangles from the crown on down, to put it in braids. I allowed it to air dry then rocked this braid out for two weeks. I rebraided every night. I applied NAC leave in conditioner, detangled and rebraided every other night. This picture was taken about a week in. This is the only product line I need. Hands down my favorite Hair Moisturizer! My hair can handle the occasional thick consistencies of certain products but its very prone to build up. This product is lightweight but I find that its buildable. The more you put in, youll find you will get the same results as you would with a thick cream which I like. It doesnt leave a cast unless you put in alot but its a nice soft cast that holds your curl well so I guess it possibly can double as a styler but not really. I prefer to put in enough to leave my hair naturally soft because Im mainly using it to keep my hair hydrated. I have 2c/3a hair and find this brings out my 3a alot more. I just love it. I bought this detangler, the shampoo and conditioner for 130$ (I had a discount code) the price tag is WAY to high for what your getting. I get better results with redken or nexxus and for this price you get the largest bottle. I thought this could be a contender but the product it’s self does not justify the price. For the record I have long brown wavy hair. It works about as well at Giovanni products that you get at tj maxx for 10$. I feel like your mainly paying for the packaging which is beautiful btw. I'm a 28 year old African-American female with relaxed hair (naturally it's very kinky/coily/afro). I don't heat style. After cleansing, I throw in four Dutch style braids, wrap my head in a silk scarf and go to bed. When I wake up, I take out the braids, "fluff" it to blend the sections and off I go. Very minimalist and time sensitive. When I received my Dermstore shipment of Oribe products – Priming Lotion, Curl Gelee and Styling Butter I was impressed by the beautiful boxes they came in (they're recycled from well managed forests and the writing is in vegetable ink); the bottles are beautiful too (you will want to keep and reuse); the smell is very pleasant, it's not over powering and nothing like you've smelled before. When I first applied it to my hair, I was NOT impressed, my hair didn't react like the lotion provided much "slip" like I would expect a detangling lotion to do. However, I was able to comb it through and continued to do my usual hair care regimen and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning and took down the braids, I had THE softest, shiniest, most defined curls I have ever had! I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. It provides a thick rich and full leather without having to use 17 pumps of shampoo. I Projects like that mielle products are parabens and sulfates paraffins and mineral oil all free. I will be the first to say that being that I have for sea hair this is not a detangling product. Moisturizing absolutely. Cleaning your hair it also removes all the impurities. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. I bought this honey shampoo and conditioner and was excited to try Garnier. At first my hair looked great, shiny and salon beautiful. Then I noticed clumps of hair and strands falling out. I was panicking as there was a significant amount falling out and more with every shampoo and conditioner I was losing more hair. I could not figure out what was I was doing that was different and realized it was these products. I am beyond upset and orayy hair will come back and I threw both in the garbage. I used to really enjoy this product. Both the shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo lathers really well and does clean my hair pretty well but anymore it dries my hair out pretty bad. I recently quit using it again once I noticed it and switched back to redken. I enjoyed the smell it had though as well. It definitely used to work really well but I don't know if it's cause how bad my hair became after I had a baby that it just didn't work for my hair anymore or what. Garnier products are terrific to use because you get so much for your money. I purchased a great deal of these bottles and used them for a long time. Because you get so much in a bottle it makes your purchase worthwhile. However, just like any other shampoo once you use the shampoo for so long, you have to switch because it creates a buildup of the product on your hair. I've been using Moroccan Oil hair products for many years. Because my go-to "smoothing" conditioner was out of stock, I decided to try the "repair" conditioner. It's absolutely terrible. When rinsing my hair in the shower, it isn't silky and smooth; it feels like I didn't use conditioner at all. When combing through towel-dried hair, I have to use twice as much of my leave-in conditioner spray just to get a comb through it. This was a very expensive purchase with terrible results. I sent an email to Moroccan Oil within 30 days of purchase, in accordance with their return policy. I never received a response. Now I'm stuck with a $65 bottle of useless conditioner.Jennifer G.

I purchased this along with the Moroccanoil Moisuture & Shine shampoo. I will say that this conditioner is much better than the shampoo, however I still wasn’t overly impressed – especially for the price. If you have thick hair like myself and go through a large amount of conditioner, this bottle is not going to last you long. The first time I used this conditioner, my hair was extremely greasy, although it wasn’t greasy the second time I tried it – I am not sure why. I didn’t find that my hair felt any better than it does after using a drugstore conditioner and I can’t bring myself to purchase this 1-2 times per month for the same results as a $10 conditioner. I usually really love Loreal products. The products are like nice department store brands but at a more affordable price. This works great but the smell is just too much. I have permed hair and this is a great product for a perm if it wasn't for the smell being so strongly perfumy. If they change the smell I'll try it again. For now I'm looking for something else. I also bought the spray they have in this line and the smell is not as strong. I'll probably use the rest of that bottle but I'm going to have to get rid of this cream.
I don't use leave-in conditioners in my hair anymore but I decided to give this a chance. A waste of money, the scent alone could stop me from using this, it smells like a man's cologne and it is so strong and lasts for days. After washing my hair I applied this and was not left with beautiful moisturized curls, instead I was left with very dry hair that was very puffy and undefined. I also tried it in my daughter's hair to see if it would work better for her, she has tighter curls and coarser hair but it was still ineffective. Sad to say but this did not live up to its claims and I can't recommend it to anyone. Will definitely not be buying it again.lynnette.d

I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! The cream is thick and I am going to also try it as a mask on my hair to hydrate it. Also it feels good to support this family business.Lizzie
I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. What a shame. I will never buy another Shea Moisture product. They used to have amazing ingredients, now they have all weird chemicals and the smells changed badly. k, so to preface I've always used drugstore haircare so the bar was pretty low for me when it comes to anything hair related. These were recommended to me by one of the hairstylists at Ulta. Now, my hair has some issues, but this shampoo/conditioner set wrecked my hair. It made my hair frizzy, dry, and hard to brush through. The ends of my hair felt like straw. I didn't realize how bad it truly was till I switched to a diff shampoo/conditioner. Would not recommend to anyone.Chels
This is my absolute favorite go to shampoo! I will not buy any other products currently. I have extensions in my hair and since extensions do not get the natural oil from your scalp, your have to use additional moisturizer to keep them healthy. These products does just that. It also smells amazing! So if you have dry hair, it needs hydration, or if you have extensions. This product is for you!courtney.q
I need to start by saying I haven't tried this yet – it just arrived in the mail today. BUT, I'm really weirded out by the ingredients on the bottle being literally 100% different than what's posted online! ACTUAL ingredients are: Water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, dimethicone, Benzyl alcohol, Cetrimonium chloride, fragrance, dehydroacetic acid, citric acid, tocopheryl acetate, lactic acid, propanediol, blueberry fruit extract, honey extract. I mean WOW. NONE of the proteins listed on the website are in this. Normally, I don't look specifically for protein in my conditioner, but this time I did!! I wanted a "balanced" conditioner that was moisturizing AND had a little protein, and then I also purchased a protein free hydrating hair mask….my hair does best with SOME protein somewhat regularly…. I'm going to try it out tonight when I wash my hair, but if I don't absolutely love it, I'm returning it, because it's simply NOT what I thought I ordered. I'll post an update after I use it, but mainly I'm very disappointed in Ulta at the moment. Accurate listing of ingredients should be the NUMBER ONE priority online, for obvious reasons!!!! We aren't there in the store to check for ourselves, and I always read ingredients and make purchases based on that. I plan on contacting Ulta directly as well, this is unacceptable. Hair type long, dark and thick never treated or coloredI use this is combination with the propolis polishing primer for curling my hair. Because my hair is so dark, damage visibly appears on my ends very quickly. My hair even when primed or dirty never holds a curl for more than a few hours, especially in the heat. I put this to the test over the weekend on a trip where it was humid and temps were in the low 90s. Not only did my curl hold the entire day, I woke up with beachy waves. A few more spritzes of the heat protecting spray, a curling iron and finishing with the polishing primer I had another day of curls in 1520 minutes.I have never been sold on heat protection sprays because they tend to get sticky. I never thought to use a heat protectant spray until I started following Negin on social media. I was going through a phase of curling my hair frequently and noticed it was starting to damage my hair so I decided to give this product a try. I noticed an improvement on how my hair feels when I use it vs when I dont. I also love how it doesnt leave a sticky residue like a lot of other heat protectant sprays. The scent is similar to all Gisou products. I found that based on reviews its either a love or hate. I personally dont mind it. Its not overpowering, has light floral notes. It reminds me of something from my past. A lot of the Gisou branding has a very 80s90s vibe which I love since I am an 80s baby. She puts a lot care and attention into her products which I love. I am also a fan of the hair oil and polishing primer. Cant wait to try the other Gisou products in the lineup.Anonymous
This product consistency is to thick for a spray. The product is thick and sprays in one spot, not a mist, and even after I try to brush it through my hair it stays concentrated in one spot. Impossible to cover entire area for protection without getting hair all greasy. I’ve tried to use it over a 3 month period , trying different ways of application but it just isn’t doing what a protectant spray should do. Will not buy this again. Throwing away the slightly used bottle for this reason . (Missed the ability to return because of my stubbornness at attempts to make it work)Michelle

I have type 3b to 4a natural curly hair (I’m an Afro-Caribbean, Taino-Puerto Rican mixed chik) that tangles terribly after coloring. Infusium Repair and Renew shampoo, Moisturize and Replenish conditioner and this Moisturize and Replenish spray is saving my curls (and my sanity). I can finger comb out the tangles with the shampoo still being in my hair. The conditioner (with my own oils mixed in) takes care of the worst clumps and the spray smooths out the rest. My scalp is left clean but not desert dry or itchy, and hair has a beautiful natural healthy shine. Plus, everything smells so nice but not overpowering. I began using the Infusium line when I noticed how badly my hair was tangling the last time I colored it and could see and feel an immediate difference. It literally saved me from cutting it all off. Love this! It smells so good and it is the perfect weight and consistency for a leave in. Leaves my hair feeling moisturized and not dry. BUT it’s impossible to get out the bottle. The bottle does not give- it has very little squeeze to it. It’s made out of a very thick plastic and when I squeeze it, it feels like I am going to break it. There’s no turning it upside down and shaking- the leave in is thick and will not budge. So this needs to come either in a completely different bottle. Preferably one of those squeeze, upside down type bottles. Or in a jar. Or just make the plastic thinner so it’s easier to squeeze. I take off the top and squeeze it out onto my bathroom counter and use it that way.Baby Girl
I love this whole line of Camille rose products! They smell absolutely incredible and works so well for my level 11 platinum baby fine blonde hair that gets tangled so easily, I had so much postpartum hair loss after having my babies! I mean literally I was half bald it was really bad! I tried so many different products with no luck for regrowth. I was at the breaking point of wanting to just shave my head because I felt like I didn’t have a choice it just looked so bad, it was so patchy and so many different lengths. This product is just okay, it’s definitely nothing special, I have been impressed with every other Camille Rose product so far besides this one. I have dry curly/wavy hair that gets dry and tangled very easily and I found this gave me no slip and not enough moisture for my hair. The reason I said this product that is okay it’s because once my hair is dry it does feel soft with this product in but for me I definitely need the detangling properties in a moisture milk/leave in conditioner as I found this product hard to work through my hair. I was disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this product more because it does contain some really nice ingredients such as avocado Leaf juice, castor seed oil , macadamia seed oil and rice seed protein so I reckon it would definitely work for someone else probably just wasn’t right for my hair type!sophie.b

I thought I was purchasing the Avlon KeraCare Intensive Restorative Masque. I certainly wouldn't have purchased a moisturizer in the jar when the 8 oz bottle was offered online for cheaper. I am so immensely disappointed. The masque is supposed to be thicker and all I have here is a small jar with a liquid inside of it. I have natural 4C hair. This product was recommended by my hairdresser. I only used a small amount before wrapping my hair overnight. It has a lovely smell to it. Woke up & my hair felt silky & manageable. It's moisturised but not greasy and has a nice glossy look. You only need a small amount, a little really does go a long way.Lala
