We got this dust mop for our floors and getting under low furniture. The mop comes detached from the handle, the handle clicks on easy. The handle stays clicked in too. It is easy to do quick a sweep of the floor now. One thing to note and I think it's a good thing, the mop looks a bit more than 12 inches. I usually read reviews before buying things, but I was in Canadian Tire and simply grabbed this, thinking RubberMaid does at least some basic QA of products. I was wrong. As many other reviews mention, the engineering and/or parts in this product are faulty. The spray mechanism broke after the 2nd use, and started leaking. After a while it was simply POURING out so I could not use it. As the spray is built into the mop, you cannot manually remove and spray the bottle either. The item is simply plastic waste, and a lot of it. I was hoping to use it for years. This item has not been removed or from Canadian Tire after a bunch of obviously bad reviews.Red Ranger
Over the last 4 years, I’ve have owned and used 3 Reveal Spray Mops. There are many reasons to love this mop. It is easy to use and light weight. The soft cloth microfiber pad is reusable, washable and does not leave streaks on laminate floors. The refill bottle is convenient to use with your own cleaning solutions, 2-3 tblsp. of a gentle cleaner (no ammonia) with water. With some design modifications, this spray mop would be super great (!). Yes, I would buy a fourth one if available, and be willing to pay more for improvements to the basic design. Problems I’ve encountered: the trigger mechanism in the handle stopped working on 2 of the mops. The warranty replaced these mops. One of the bottles wouldn’t disperse solutions and now a leaking bottle issue has begun on my 3rd mop leaving puddles on the floor. I’ve tried a popular competitor product and find it wanting. Their throw-away mopping pads leave streaks and I had to use 2 pads each time. Their priority solution/bottle doesn’t allow using your own cleaning solution and I think their cleaner is too harsh on my laminate flooring. And you have to use 4 batteries to squirt the solution on the floor. Because of these 3 points, it’s going to be more expensive to continue using. My conclusion, if Rubbermaid were to rethink their Reveal Spray Mop design a little bit, they would have a BIG winner. After maybe 25 uses, I discovered that the handle of the mop was slowly coming apart. I dismantled the handle, found out what the problem was (cracked plastic dowel) and fixed it with plastic glue and screws. Yesterday the handle broke again and this time I had to fix it with a wooden dowel, plastic glue and screws. My tendency in life is to fix things without having to throw away in the garbage all the time. The mop works fine now but why do you sell such cheaply made product? Rubbermaid could make it much more solid (use metal parts for assembling not plastic) and garantee it for 5 years at least and people would be happy to pay $10 more for a product that would be solid and reliable. I had seen this mop all over TikTok and wanted one for a while. I finally bought one for about $40, couldn't wait to use it and was immediately disappointed. The handle wouldn't stay locked, it kept telescoping which was very frustrating. The next thing I noticed was that when you push forward on the mop, it functions like a mop should. On the backwards motion, the plastic base of the mop that the mophead attaches to just scrapes along the floor. I don't think the fabric of the mop was even touching the floor at all, it almost flips upside down so that only plastic is dragging along the floor. I mopped about 1/8 of my apartment before I had to stop. I cant put myself or my downstairs neighbor through that every time I mop. Terrible, terrible product that was over advertised on TikTok. Luckily you can return within 90 days if you're not satisfied otherwise Id be out the $40 I spent plus the floor cleaner.Emma Haus
Purchased this mop after several people I know said how great it was. While I do like the actual mop head and the spin idea, the handle is garbage. The handle is telescoping for whatever reason and will not stay locked. It constantly comes unlocked while mopping even with essentially no force applied. I honestly don't know why they would design a telescopic handle for a mop I'm the first place, especially considering that even with it extended fully it's still pretty short. My guess would be that it's easier to box and put in shelves, but it also makes the product garbage. They should have went with a screw together design if that was their concern. Also the mop head just king of clicks into the handle. Had they designed it with a traditional screw handle like most mops and brooms have I could have easily just gotten another handle and screwed it onto the mop head. As I said I love the idea of the product and like the was it mops when it actually functions. At this point I'm not sure what options I have to make it work better but will most likely end up having to return it. This mop bucket with spinner is so easy to put together and use. The instructions for expanding the handle was a sticker attached to the handle so you'll never lose it. The mop head snapped into the handle with no problems. I had my doubts about this product but I am glad that I made this purchase. I used this at a client home and wondered about the quality. The mop did exactly what it was supposed to do. I paired it with Mr. Clean multi surface cleaner. This product cleaned 3 years worth of ground in dirt from bathroom floor tiles. I haven't seen the floor this clean for 3 years. I was using swifter wet jet which didn't even last thru the warranty. I switched to swifter wet floor pads and that didn't clean the groves in the bathroom tiles either. This product does exactly what it says it would do, however, I would not use it on wooden parquet floor because even though you spin the water out of the mop head it is still a little too wet for a wooden floor. And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. It uses a standard barrel-type plug-in adapter, and it feels a bit loose in the port on the device. I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. I bought my 1867-7 Steam Mop in 2008 or 2009. While It may have not gotten terribly hard use, it still keeps going without fail or any problems whatsoever. As long as I can keep getting filters and mop pads, it will remain in service. We just moved from a house hard floors only in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. Now we are living in a house with 2,000 sq ft of polished concrete floors. This little machine is going to get a real work-out! I had to order new mop pads that just came today -HURRAH- as the ones that I was using are still packed somewhere! We have also switched from city water to well water, so I will be very diligent about using distilled water.
For years I've tried different mops to clean my floors. Sponge mops, string mops and finally a cloth type, wringer mop. I like to be able to reuse mops, so I'm not in favor of throw-away types. My sister-in-law showed me her new Bissell and I was hooked. I love how clean it gets the floors, how easy it is to use, and the fact that I can launder the pads. I ordered 2 additional pads, as I wanted to be able to have plenty of clean pads while I'm mopping. I love the fact that I can use tap water, but so far I've used distilled water as it doesn't take much water to clean the floors and it saves the filter. Distilled water is cheap. The only thing I would change on this unit is the length of the cord — it would be nice if it were 30 feet or longer. This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

I usually clean any floor surfaces by hand but as I've gotten older the thought of my hands, knees and back being sore for days appeals less and less and I dilike using regular.mops and buckets as the water has to be changed every few wipes making it seem like a even bigger chore.. I decided to spring for one of these wetjets just so I could do a touch-up clean weekly without scrubbing on my hands and knees Firstly it's so quick and eassy to set up and you slide your bottle of wet jet solution into the hole for the mix untill it clicks and you are ready to go! I usually pre sweep twice as I have 2 cats, a dog and 2 budgies so fur and feathers are my pet peeve when mopping. Any heavy dried food spills I'll pretreat with a regular spray so it's damp and easier to remove once I use the wet jet. Firstly I usually splurge for the heavy duty cleaning pads by wetjets a pack of these runs about 6-7 dollars I prefer these as they have a scourer type line for any stubborn messes. I'll clean in sections across the kitchen working my way towards the lounge and edging of my kitchen. The spray comes out of two spots covering a large area that you hit a button with by the handle and slowly mop. I usually find to get a good clean I have to use two pads one for the dirty first clean then 2nd for a quick wipe over.to make sure all dirt is removed. While it cleans and cleans most messes well the wet jet doesn't get as close to the edge as I would like. And it isn't as good as a hand scrub clean. This is ideal for those who just want to make the floors.cleaner and quickly without hours of work. The spray dries quickly and most say my kitchen smells lovely, I alternate between the purple bottle with febreeze and the white bottle that is Mr clean endorsed. They both work well I just prefer the purple febreeze one for the smell. Usually the bottles last me a month and I replace each payday monthly. I bought this product as a kit several years back. Initially, I thaught it would make my life a little easier. Instead of having to mop my floor with a traditional mop and the bucket of soapy warm water not to mention the clean up after of the mop itself and dirty water bucket. This seemed like a dream come true at first as an all in one solution. The idea of having both the disposable mop pads and cleansing solution all in one system sounds so convenient.but …remember the old saying “ if it’s sounds too good to be true, it probably is”; …after using it for some time I can honestly say the ease of use is great however, it does not come close the deep clean you get with a traditional mop. In my experience it barely even cleanses the surface and I have have to physically push and exert myself with the wet jet for just that. Perhaps they redesigned it over the last year or two and it works better but in my opinion it does not clean your floors as good as it should. Also taking into consideration the expensive refills of both the solution and pads, is it really worth it? I only ordered this because my OCedar spin mop/bucket broke and the store was sold out. Never again will I use anything other than OCedar! The bucket part SUCKS!!! The way the handle is you cant even carry it without the water dumping out. The mop itself is nice. I like that you can adjust the height level on it easily and I like the way the head rotates when you are using it. Now to the spin part. What spin? I am a senior who has had both knees and hips replaced. This is the only combo I could find that did not require a strong lower body. However I fear that it is being discontinued and replacement heads will no longer be made. I called Libman customer service but they don't sell directly to the public. I inquired where they were sold and she rattled of some chains which I told her I had already checked. Maybe it is just a symptom of the times because customer service does not mean customer service anymore. The mop head is not machine washable because the crown on mine started disintegrating on wash one. It was the only item in my sidekick washer. I own a number of Libman products and for the most part they have serviced me well. I would like to get another mop as I don't use the same mop on tile and hardwood.daw0113
Useless mop. There is NO spin mechanism. The name 'spin' is completely misleading. You have to use your hands to twist a plastic shroud on the mop. Hard to twist. I use a tiny bit of antibacterial dish soap with water. So easy that it doesn’t seem tedious at all. I will say the pads could use some improvement though. I filled with my expensive Shaw Floor cleaner because we had been just using a spray bottle of it with a regular mop. I was eager to have a mop with integrated sprayer to avoid carrying a separate spray bottle around.
