Best Multi Surface Wet Dry Vacuum (2023 Update)

As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Second, the instructions point out to clean after every use (highly recommend or I've found there is an odor with use).designgal78

We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

I purchased this vacuum back in May/June of 2021 and have had the last 6 months to really use this thing and put it to the test and honestly- I'm not impressed. I'm already way past the return window, so I just wanted to leave a review for others so people can know my personal experience. It doesn't have the suction to pull the cleaner/water out of any rugs or carpet I own. So, we are left with wet carpet for hours after using this. It also does not clean the floors properly with the brush. It's really just moving dirty water around while only sucking up a small fraction of what I have put down. There are dirty water streaks every time I use this to mop. When using the vacuum dry, the dust and hair clog up the filter within minutes and I have to empty it multiple times while vacuuming, even though the container itself is not nearly full. I have a long haired cat, and I myself have long hair. Neither of these things have agreed with this vacuum. If you have a cat and plan on vacuuming any cat litter with this- don't. It will become a large clay litter clump in the suction tube of the vacuum that you have to get out yourself. It will also leave nasty gray streaks of litter/water on the floor. Additionally, my fallen hair gets so tangled in the spinning brush that I have to cut it off. Honestly, that might not be avoidable or the fault of the vacuum. My hair also gets caught on the sides of the spinning brush and becomes an unmanageable mess that can't be removed. This was probably my worst "big purchase" of 2021. I got the Crosswave Max as a splurge birthday present, but I do not like it at all. It is not convenient. Have to assemble before each use, fill with water and their solution (cannot use just water for brush head reasons), then after use have to run the brush clean function and disassemble and clean all the other parts and let them dry. So you need a dedicated area for all this, just like a full on carpet cleaner. In all that time it takes to assemble and clean up after, I can bend over and pick up or sweep up any of my toddler’s mess AND warm up and use my steam mop. Going back to the brush cleaning cycle, it does not do much to clean the brush. The brush remains dirty, discoloured, and unless you soak it in detergent for at least 30 minutes with a good rinse after (blue dish soap, or laundry soap, or their solution, etc), it will remain dirty and leaves a lot of streaks and milky film on the floor the next use. I have darker floors, so it looked disgusting after the wetness dried. I would have to use my steam mop after using the crosswave and the pad would be very gross after, but atleast the floors would finally look good. It’s also a slow machine to use. You basically wet the floor area going slowly so it’s evenly wet and then have to go over it several times to try to dry it as much as possible. You have to do this section by section. It would take much too long to do only my kitchen, where I could sweep or vacuum and mop it in half the time. This machine is a great idea in theory, but it is not convenient or efficient and left my floors dirtier than before using it. The company states the brushes need to be replaced after ten hours of use (I did not use it nearly that long and the brush heads were awful after a short time) and they are not cheap to replace. Also have to use their solution, again not cheap. For such an expensive device, it requires a lot of additional costs.Melissa O

i was very skeptic when ordering this vacuum mop, compared to the crosswave. Well the Euerka is equally if not better then then the crosswave. The suction is remarkable, the cleaning is on point, the self clean mode is a bonus, the cord is long enought, the noise is reasonable , the dispense of water and cleaning solution is perfect and the cleaning of the two containers is easy. i really love this purhchase and for he price compared to others is a steal.sharzach-0

I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The price of this machine is a little pricey, but after trying I definitely understand why. It actually works! So far so good.Redhdedgrl

I’ve been using this WetVac every-other-day for four weeks now. Bare with me, this is probably the longest review in the history of online shopping – But I’m hoping this will share helpful information to those considering a purchase. I’ll start with my overall feelings – Yes, this is 100% worth the small investment. Our house is on the smaller side, 1200sq ft, 2 adults, a messy 6 year old, a baby in the crawling stage, and 2 dogs. Prior to this WetVac, I used disposable mopping pads three or four times a week on top of my daily sweeping, but our vinyl plank floors never felt fully clean, and our baby’s brown-kneed footie pajamas would speak to that. The first time I used this WetVac, I swept immediately before use. To say I was disgusted – “Had my husband dump it” kind of disgusted – The water in the dirty water tank was embarrassing. Not just that, there was a ton of dog hair and I had JUST swept. I had used our disposable mopping pads the day before. Clearly, they weren’t cutting it. Once the floor dried, I filled the clean water tank back up and cleaned again, then once more. On clean #3, the water was just a light grey. I am able to get through 1,200sq ft in about 15 minutes. When I say there is ZERO elbow grease required, I mean it. The wet brush really scrubs, but doesn’t scuff your floor even with the harder bristles mixed in. The water sprayer doesn’t dump water, there’s a gentle mist and it puts off just enough solution to dampen the floor for a thorough clean. My favorite part is – Our baby’s pajama knees no longer turn brown. I do have some pointers and other things to share, though: 1) Yes, you’re going to save a ton of time during the initial cleaning – However DO expect to invest some time to care for your WetVac: – The self-clean is a MUST after every use. If you have pets or particularly dirty floors, run the cycle twice or three times. I’ve noticed that after 1 self-clean cycle, there’s still some dog hair stuck to the brush. It takes nothing to run it a few times, as long as your clean water tank is full and your dirty water tank isn’t too full. – Do NOT leave the dirty water tank closed for more than a day. We went away for a 3-day weekend. I had drained the tanks before leaving, but there was a gross musty smell when I started using it the next morning. It was coming from the brush and the dirty water tank. What I have started doing to avoid this, is I take the dirty water tank apart, take the brush out, and let them dry on our porch after use. I haven’t had the musty smell since. – If you’re planning to use this as a normal vacuum, I’ll warn you that the brush is not clean-out friendly. You’re going to have to clean hair, strings, you name it – off the brush. Truthfully, I used ours as a regular vacuum once to see how it worked in our 1 carpeted room, and I threw the brush right away. I’ll never use it as a regular vacuum again. 2) If you bump into furniture while using the WetVac feature, it can pop off the brush cover. – If you bump into something, push the cover down with your foot to re-secure it. Otherwise, it can fall off and you’ll get sprayed with water. Fun times. 3) I might be overthinking this, but I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening. – I’ve realized, I was able to get my floors done with about 75% left of charge left at first. Now, I have 66-68% left after a clean for the same Sq Ft. I’m hoping my battery isn’t weakening, I’ll report back eventually. 4) The “dirty water tank” sensor. – I’m not sure if it’s a faulty sensor, though I always start with a clean and dry tank and sponge. It tells me 3 or 4 times to clean the dirty water tank and sponge, even though they’re still empty. It’s annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall, there’s a few quirks as expected. But I will tell you, I’ll never go back to disposable mopping pads. This was a game changer for this ever-busy mama and I am truly pleased with the job it does cleaning our floors.Lauren7

I love this WetVac. It has made my life so much easier, because now I don't need to sweep then mop. I love how it has a trigger to let the water out, so if you don't need to mop a certain area, you can just vacuum it. I also really love that it has a high and Lo setting. I really love that it has a self cleaning feature. I also really love that it tells you the percentage of the battery that is left. The only thing I did not like about this vacuum was the cord that goes from the outlet to the base is not very long. I wish it was just a little bit longer. Overall this is a great Vacuum and I would highly recommend it.cutegene

This shop vac is a nice intersection of capacity, power and price. 12 gallons is plenty for my needs. With its low center of gravity, it is difficult if not impossible to tip it off its wheels. The connection collar for the smaller diameter hose from my previous ancient shop vac fits in the coupling intake of this new one….a bonus. The vac comes with many attachments that can be stored on the machine. Half the noise of my old vac. And its construction is stout. Its a winner!Btowner

We were excited to find this one on sale, it had much higher horsepower than a smaller one used for years. Since we ordered it online as a Christmas gift for ourselves, we were not aware of how tight or well it went together, & did mot get a chance to use it right away within the 1st 30 days, as 30 days ended before Christmas! 1) It is HUGE, much, much bigger than a larger-capacity one we have of a different brand. Make sure you have a very large storage place if you buy this one. It is much bigger around than it is tall. 2) Regretfully, when trying to use it, as much dog hair/dirt/soot (still in places from the huge fire near us last summer) blew OUT of it as going in, the two times we tried it-& it didn't work for the garage any better than our dirty house. No matter how things were put together, it still has a very large output of whatever dirt you are trying to put in it, blowing all over so it makes it harder to clean afterwards than if you'd just left it or swept it up. We have not figured out yet, other than a good amount of Duct Tape, how to attach another hose to where the debris pours out, but hope to find something to use soon. This does not work well as a wet/dry yet, I hope I can change my rating after we jerry-rig it to work better.olga_p

I purchased the 20 gallon wet/dry vacuum with the 6.5 peak for my shop expecting a high quality Craftsman product. No so! First, no screws were included in the packaging to mount the handle or hose retainers. I immediately called customer support only to be told that my product support people don't work on the weekend so I should call back on Monday!!! The person on the phone could not help me. Not much of a help line if you have a job M-F. I ended up using my own screws to assemble it. Otherwise assembly was simple except the casters wouldn't "snap in" as per the instructions. I had to hit them in with a mallet which is a little unnerving when the parts are made from plastic. The motor housing lid does not fit snugly to the base. When you lift the vacuum by the handle, the motor housing separates from the base. The 20 foot cord is nice except the cord retention feature on the handle is designed to accept a 10 ft cord. The 20 foot cord won't all fit and annoyingly falls off. The vacuum hose is very stiff plastic. It requires you to "fight" with it while using it. It has a strong memory to the shape it took on in the packaging. The only reason I gave it a 2 start rating as opposed to a 1 star is because I like the 20 gallon size it on 1st use, it does have pretty good power and suction.Neal

Assembly is trivial, but I noticed right away the extremely short power cord. I've got extensions but this immediately giving me a frowny face b/c a shop vac should have a 10 to 12 ft cord. Next was the very short hose. Again shop vacs are getting pulled into all sort of spaces and locations. A 4ft hose doesn't cut it. Plus it's such a tiny diameter, I'll have to hunt around for a longer one. It's almost a joke… I didn't want a huge shop vac, but looking at what just cost me over $80 I'm thinking just getting something from Harbor Freight.Sc0tt

I have never thought to much of a wet/dry shop vacuum but we are having work done in 2 rooms in our house and this vacuum has been a huge help. It easily picks up any debris and cleans up the drywall dust and small pieces with ease. We even had a small leak and were able to have it all cleaned up easily with this vacuum rather than wasting paper towels or dirtying towels this sucked up the water in no time leaving the floor slightly wet no more than if I had mopped. I use the Garage Pro for what it was designed for, have it mounted in one corner of a two car garage. I clean the cars, and the garage, on a bi-weekly basis and have owned this vacuum for over one year. I really like the Garage Pro. It has few flaws, and those few are minor, probably couldn't even call them "flaws". I think that the cord ought to be longer for a device like this, considering it is intended to be wall-mounted. The super-long hose is awesome; I have the vacuum mounted in one corner of the two car garage and can clean both cars (a sedan and a minivan) with little struggle. The only issue is when you find something you don't want to vacuum or need to turn the suction off for a minute, that super long hose puts you a long way from the power switch! So what I did was purchase a remote-controlled plug-in switch from a hardware store. Problem solved! If you do the same thing, be sure to consider the Amperage and Voltage specifications on the vacuum and be sure the remote-controlled switch will meet or exceed that. I do not use the vacuum for cleaning up such things as wet leaves in the garage, as others had noted in reviews that it didn't work well for. I instead use my brain to determine that there is no vacuum one should use to suck up wet leaves in the garage, just blow them out or rake them up. On the topic of blowing, I have not used the vacuum as a blower so can't comment on that functionality. If Bissell incorporated a remote-controlled power function on this vacuum it would be PERFECT, but as it stands it is a very nice unit that was a good investment for me. I can just walk to the garage to clean up the cars, instead of driving them back and forth to a car wash. And after one year I still consider it to be a well manufactured unit.JJ

I use this vacuum for detaining cars. At this point I've had this vacuum for about 3-4 years and it has never failed to meet if not exceed my expectations. I use it very consistently and haven't had any issues out of it apart from stuff I have damaged in the past. The hose, mounting bracket and the vacuum itself all feel and preform like I would expect for a shopvac like this. I have also used it to get water out of a friends flooded basement and it did a stellar job at that too seeing as we were both sucking water up for a few hours and it never had a single issue handling that as well. The only real complaint I have about the vacuum is the hose, if you aren't careful it can kink up pretty easily but other than that I absolutely love it and will probably buy another one when mine bites the dust.Zach

Since there is nothing else like this tool on the market, I'll have to fairly review it by comparing it to a traditional mop and bucket. There are pros and cons for both. While I'm not typically one to invest heavily in a machine that just simply provides an electric way to do a simple manual job, this HydroVac offers so much more. The rotating antimicrobial roller mimics repeatedly going over the floor surface with minimal movement by the operator. No difficult scrubbing to get a higher level of clean. The cleaning formula was effective and I felt most powerful when mixed with warm filtered water. Dried on sticky foods came up easily and filled my home with a really nice scent. Where I would prefer a mop and bucket is when I was rinsing all of the tanks out: the solution tank and the dirty water tank. With a mop and bucket, I just dump and rinse. However, the cleaning power of this HydroVac cannot be matched! I did find that the HydroVac did really well sucking up along edges on the side of the unit but not from the front, so I wish I made a better effort sweeping before using this vac. At the end of the day, for an investment, you can get a better clean. In fact, I would recommend my friends with disabilities give this appliance a try as it allowed me to do a task that requires physical exertion with much less demand on my body.Michelle Y.

I've wanted one of these combo vac/mops ever since the Bissell Crosswave came out, but it was hard to justify the expense. I was also not sure about having to deal with cleaning a machine like this after use. After saving up some BBB gift cards, I finally bought this Shark Hydrovac after watching the Vacuum Wars youtube review, and I am so glad I did! My hardwood floors have never been cleaner! I live in a messy house with 3 kids, 2 cats, Georgia red clay in the backyard and no one but me will take off their shoes when they come in. This machine got my floors as clean as if I had hand washed them on my hands and knees. It passed the paper towel test – for the first time ever after using all kinds of different mops (steam mop, microfiber spray mop, regular mop head with spin bucket, etc), my floors actually did not show any dirt when wiped with a wet paper towel after mopping them with the Hydrovac. Also, it left NO streaks or haze! I've tried all sorts of products to get my floors cleaned and nothing left them looking this good. And cleaning the machine afterwards was no big deal at all – definitely not any more time involved than dealing with mop buckets and mop heads. The only downside is that it does not fit to clean under the kickboard of the kitchen cabinets, and the edge cleaning could be better – it leaves about a half inch around edges untouched…but I don't care because it got the rest of my floors so totally clean that I'm happy to overlook that small downside. Also, I had to refill the water tank before I finished mopping (I mop my foyer, half bath, 2 hallways and kitchen.) The floors dry unbelievably fast – it seems like it squeegees the floor with each pass to get up almost all the water used. It didn't do much to clean my area rug; it just picked up surface dirt but didn't do anything to remove marks on the rug. But I think it is still nice that I can go over area rugs with it as I'm cleaning my hardwoods and get all the surface dirt all at once. It's lightweight, and I think something that my kids could handle using easily. Regarding the Shark brand cleaner, the smell is not overpowering. I'm sensitive to scents and this didn't bother me. This is a fantastic way to keep multiple floor surfaces clean. I tried this on a couple looped wool throw rugs and it did a great job cleaning without harming the rug fibers. The roller is a very soft micro fiber type material that gently rotates and gently cleans. It applies a small amount of cleaning solution the is supplied with the vacuum and sucks it all up leaving a very light dampness. It doesn't thoroughly soak the carpet but instead is more of a surface cleaning. you can easily see how much dirt is being picked up in the water being vacuumed up. It's a good idea to vacuum before using the wet vac. There is no danger of harming the floors beneath the rug because the vacuum completely picks up all of the moisture being used. I like the way it cleans the rugs but I think it works best on hard surfaces. The lighted brush assembly makes it easy to see the surface being cleaned and again it only leaves a slightly damp surface that dries quickly. There is no puddling of cleaning solution. The water compartments are easily disassembled and easily cleaned. The self cleaning feature is handy and works well and only takes 2 minutes. This is only a wet vac and not for dry vacuuming at all. I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. This is a great concept but a failure at both being a wet jet and a vacuum. First, it didn't come with any accessories, it is only meant to clean floors. No attachments for stairs, couches, drapes etc. The only time a light comes on is when the trigger is pulled for the wet jet so you can't see going under furniture, which is difficult anyways because this vacuum doesn't lay flat. The wet jets don't spray evenly so there are constantly lines on the floor. The rollers stay wet so dirt and grime cling to them and when you go onto your rugs the dirt and dust transfer into the rugs. Just gross. For those with cats, litter touches the wet rollers and turn to wet clay and clog the system. The vacuum portion isn't really strong enough to suction litter out of tile grout. Just leaves it there wet. I had cut my hair and tried to vacuum up the little pieces left behind but the vacuum failed. It suctioned up some and then I'd move the vacuum forward and they'd all fall out. Emptying the dirt container is made more difficult because of the wetness. Dirt,dust, hair, fur,litter is now all wet and glued together and didn't empty when tilted over a garbage can. Plus the container itself has so many grooves and pieces for stuff to stuck to. Great product! I wish I would have bought it sooner! Alot of the negative reviews read simular to complaining that a walk behind/push mower won't effectively mow through 2 ft. high thick grass without stopping or complaining that the dishwash didn't remove/clean the queso from
your crock pot that was left on for 3 hours… com'on!? That being said, you will have to vaccum/sweep up prior to using, especially if you have dogs that shed or alot of debris as it does not function as a HEAVY DUTY vaccum (this isnt a shop vac) nor is it a rug doctor/deep carpet cleaner either. Its very easy to use and makes cleaning bare floors nearly painless! I have 2 large dogs & 3 childern, so I "pre" vacuum before using every time. (Just like scrubbing the caked on queso) only if you have a Rumba type machine and use the Crosswave after it's done most of the debris clean up, you dont even hVe to. It's amazing. The frequently mentioned "clean up" after using is comical, ITS NOT THAT HARD OR MUCH MORE WORK! As you would ring out a mop or rinse the bucket post cleaning… same concept, only on a much smaller, less messy scale. You will have to let the filter dry before using, but you can purchase additional filters for next to nothing online (6 for 12 bucks). All this shop vac is good for is picking up dust! Being a big buyer of Milwaukee tools I was excited to finally get this vac to add to the list of tools. After using it I have nothing but issues. House gets clogged, wont suck up screws, wont even pick up small pieces of copper from electrical installs. Also the run time is very minimal even with a 9.0 battery you get about 10 mins of vacuuming before it dies. I should have stuck with my Pack Out one. A LOT CHEAPER AND DOES A BETTER JOB.Ckelly29

When my beloved Milwaukee Vac Model 8925 needed to be replaced, I opted for this beast. It is not only well designed from a functional and use standpoint, it just looks cool. I never realized how burdensome it was to worry about using a cord and now just wheel my "M18" from room to room. The filtration system is awesome and when I attached the hose to the orbital sander directly, saw no dust whatsoever leaving the work area. The wheeled platform is great but I do appreciate it's so easy to pop off when carrying up stairs. In particular, the attachments are very heavy duty and while I miss the super long hose from my Model 8925 … I am learning to appreciate everything this tool has to offer in terms of making my work easier. The hose just disconnects itself from the vac any time you have a slight twist in it. There is a second output airflow port which has a little bit more friction but not much more to hold the hose tightly. I got a bag also, but it's not practical to keep it on top of the vac while working because I reach handle on top frequently. So I keep the bag on top just for storage. The bag should be Packout compatible which is not for now.radionokiatv

This is an extremely lightweight machine. Not just in actual weight, but in the job it does. The motor is not powerful, the spinner is not fast. You do NOT save time using this over mopping. You must go SLOOW, back and forth, several times, over each area on even the lightest of soiled flooring. You must clean as instructed, the spinner, screens, and filter after only a few minutes of use or it will stop working completely. It doesn't do well on tile unless there are nearly flat grout lines. What is it good for? Linoleum, very lightly soiled. Probably to have it charged and ready for a small spill in the kitchen while cooking, then set it aside and know you WILL have to disassemble and clean it before you use it again, even after only a minute or two of use. This thing is terrible. I wanted a shark cross wave but they’re expensive. I looked through the description and the reviews and thought this may be a less expensive alternative. You get what you pay for. We use it 2 X on hardwood floors. We don’t have carpets. The cleaner started spitting out nasty, dirty, smelly water all over the place. It left my house smelling like a septic tank. Yes, we have a puppy that has accidents and we used it to clean up. Aren’t these things designed to clean up messes? We have disassembled it just like the directions instructed. We cleaned every item that was disassembled with soap and water and even a tiny bit of bleach on the roller. We put it back together, turned it on and once again it starting spitting out sewage water. I haven’t touched it since. I was just going to eat the price and use the swifter but the more I thought about it. No, I’m sick of buying things that work maybe once then I end up with expensive junk I’m never going to use. So i bought this yesterday i been eyeing this mop for awhile and read alot of reviews. I was so excited to finally get it as the reveiw were so great. I been useing a reuseable spray mop so wanted to up grade as the mop head gets dirty so quick as a single mom i wanted something more convenient but that is not what i got. I was so disappointed in this mop vacuum. I have real hardwood floor and laminate in my kitchen. This did not clean i had dirty spots on my floor that my mop would have got in 2 seconds. But this thing did not clean and at first im like i must be doing something wrong so i read the book with it like 5 times going yes im doing it right. At first the floor wasnt even getting wet but after holding the button down felt like forever it finally got wet. I had to go over spots so many time for it to even get clean. Went to clean my kitchen and that was even worst i kept going over a spot over and over and nothing. So i got out my spot mop sprayed it with just water and it came up as soon as i went over it. So it wasnt a hard spot to clean but the vacuum did not clean it. only good part of the vacuum is that it sucks up the water nice and leaves your floor pretty much dry. It didnt leave streaks but the worst thing of it is when you turn it on its so powerful that it moves the vacuum forward so hard that your fighting it to go backward to suck up the water. For $200 this is not worth it at all my $30 stray mop does so much better ( but hate that it leaves my floors so wet). Oh also this doesnt not get your floor wet or clean a inch away from the wall or your rugs so couldnt get on the side of floors clean.Amber

This is our 3rd Shop Vac. My husband is so pleased with all the nice features on the Stanley along with it doing a great job. We love the large handle on the top that the cord wraps around. The switch is easy on or off. The handle and switch are bright yellow as are the latches on each side and the Stanley brand name on the Shop Vac. The colour makes the on/off switch so easy to see. The clamps on the side of the top and bottom are easy to open and close. The hose attachment is a lock in hose, i.e., it has a quick release feature where you press the front part of the hose that goes into the Vac that locks the hose into the Vac and will not come out for the feature where you suck things up or into the Vac. On the lid there is a hole for the hose to blow things. It locks into this hole also. We like the fact that the Stanley Poly Vac rolls so easily. This Stanley Wet/dry Poly Vac can be used inside the home with no worry about your floors or rugs being damaged. We could have used this after the recent hurricane when the plumbing failed in the tub (perhaps a coincidence) and all the water we filled the tub with leaked into our bedroom and was coming up through the wood floors. This Stanley Vac would have easily sucked up all that water and we could have used the blower to dry with instead of a hair dryer. Our other vacs are not as nice as this one and would have damaged our floors. I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free Stanley 10 Gallon 6 Peak horse power Wet/dry Poly Vac to review. I have to say that this is one solid, heavy duty wet/dry vacuum. Right out of the box you can see that the quality of the Stanley wet/dry vacuum lives up to the Stanley name. The wet/dry vacuum is large, with the castors attached it stands about 24 ½” high and is at its widest point 53” around. There are 4 large castors made of plastic wheels on metal bases which are very wide and sturdy making the vacuum very stable. With the wheels being plastic it won’t scratch your floors. The two side latches to keep the top on are wide and the top secures tightly. The power cord is very heavy duty and about 10’ long. The wet/dry vacuum comes with a 6’ hose and two 20” extenders to allow you a good reaching distance. Included is a filter for dry vacuuming and a foam filter for wet vacuuming, a crevice type attachment, a floor attachment, an attachment for general pickups, a disposable filter bag for drywall/plaster/soot particles and a garden hose adapter. With the exception of the hose extenders, all of the other attachments store nicely in the canister. The hose and adaptors are also made of heavy duty plastic and won’t scratch surfaces when working. All of the attachments and hose store neatly inside the canister for storage. Changing it over from a dry vacuum to a wet vacuum takes less than 10 minutes. The 6 horsepower motor is very powerful and the suction is very strong. When pressed against your hand it sucks in your skin, so this is something to be careful with around young children and pets. Pretty good, but not without some relatively minor flaws. Battery life is respectable, very powerful for its size. Presumably because of how low the filter housing sits in the dust canister, it clogs up beyond use long before you are anywhere close to collecting anything significant in the dust canister. The first few times I went to vacuum saw dust, I could hear the filter getting clogged, opened the canister and it was almost entirely empty, not even a small layer of material. However I shook out the filter into the dust canister and left quite a size-able pile. I understand this unit was meant for small cleanup jobs, not heavy duty, but I can help but think a small diverter installed at the inlet tube, or around the lower half of the filter itself would help this issue significantly. I will continue to use this vacuum, but it could have been a leap above the rest if this small issue was addressed.Charl C

FWIW, I have the Ryobi 18v vac also, so my expectations were it would be the same. It’s not, not only is it a cool as heck brick that works with the system I don’t have, but it sucks…. Pun intended, it truly does suck better than the Ryobi, I can suck up nails, screws, rocks and all sorts of heavier stuff that my other struggles with even on a clean filter. But the best part is how darn compact it is, the hose embeds in the side like some parasite and you can switch input to output giving you the ability to air up a boat inner tube in like 2.3 seconds. This is a nice little vacuum – it has a ton of suction, WAY more than my old yellow 18v vacuums, even on 110v… very compact, easy to use. I am giving it three stars because the lid is flimsy. It actually arrived broken… even a little pressure from something on top of it distorts the plastic and pushes it down and out. The other side is showing signs of fatigue as well. Secondly, the lid latches are incredibly fragile. I am almost afraid to latch/unlatch them…. they just feel cheap. The latches on the bottom container are almost as bad and I fully expect that they will not last long. Just thin, cheap plastic. Lastly… why would you NOT mold Packout feet onto the bottom? Total swing and a miss here that would cost you nothing and make the tool way more functional.5oh86

I love my Worx battery powered wet/dry vacuum. For starters, it arrived packaged very nicely, and was also easy to assemble. I did register it at the Worx website, and Customer Service is just a click away! This vacuum has solved a lot of dog hair problems in my home. I have a gorgeous Rough Collie and two sweet little spaniels, so am constantly dealing w/ a lot of fur, dirt, and anything else they drag in. Instead of getting out the large vacuum for this activity, I have the Worx vac in an easy to grab location, and twala – the mess vanishes almost instantly! I was pretty excited for this until the first time I used it, I blew sawdust around. Unfortunately, the air vent is in the same direction as where hose connection, so if you aren't careful, you will blow what you are trying to vacuum. You can turn the vacuum but then you are fighting with a short hose. The other option is to pop off the vent hole cover and let it exhaust straight up… But in my test, that was pretty much always blowing in my face. Why they didn't put the main vent on the opposite side of the hose is beyond me. This may not bother everyone but it was a deal killer for me. I'm going to try a different brand.chip2022

I love my new Vacmaster Beast! It has great suction and is lightweight and easy for me to handle. When I tried it for the first time earlier today I was just going to do the rug on my front step. Well, it was so great I just kept on going! I did my front step, my garage floor, my car trunk so far. I can't wait to have time to do my patio area, the back door rug, entry-way and everything else I see that needs vacuuming in-between. I love it and my house/garage is benefiting greatly! Picked this up for vacuuming the truck out. Works great! Super light and easy to move around. It does use up the battery pretty quickly, so have 2 or 3 on hand for a full vehicle clean up, but I'd rather the excellent suction and short battery life than mediocre suction. Highly recommend! I picked up the cordless 3gal wet/dry vac because I was tired of being inconvenienced when I needed to clean up and had to be bound by a cord. I've used this vac to clean up a wet laundry room, to clean a broken sandbag in the trunk of my wife's car, to clean up paint chips outdoors after a big job, and many more. Bought this to use for my vehicle. Great size. Fits in a Rubbermaid bin with all my other vehicle stuff. Easy to use and very light. Not the most powerful suction, but enough to get non soiled carpets without issue. Drains battery pretty quick, I use a 2ah lithium battery for a light cleaning, first time I used it I used three of them to do the vehicle. Make sure you have more than one battery or you'll be charging halfway. The blower function could be good for a desk, but definitely not much else. I use it to blow out the vacuum after I'm done. Overall, good vacuum and the convenience alone makes it worth the money.Spud10909
