I've bought several of this make (and tried several others) over the years, and the Microtouch far outperforms the other brands. It's less expensive, easier to control, and yields a closer trim with the least amount of irritation. The reason I bought it at my local CVS wasn't because of price, although coupons made it competitive; their excellent & relationship-oriented staff is why I shop there.
This was not exactly what I thought I was ordering for him, but he is getting used to it and now he really likes it. Says the battery is lasting a long time, many times being used and still strong. It is small and light weight, so at first it seemed "dinky" but it does a very nice job of keeping his beard at that "day-old" look that I like for him. I feel like if your nose hair is as wild and bushy as overgrown lawn with crabgrass then this is for you. My nose hairs were pretty long and a bit wild and I found myself pressing the trimmer in hard and still found a good portion of nose hairs just were not being cut. It looks like a premium product and costs much more than others but it doesn’t work well. It has a large “nozzle” below the cutting blade so you can’t reach the nostril hair. The cutting blade misses cutting much hair despite repeated attempts.

After years of using a slim disposable shaving blade to cut as much of my plentiful ear hairs as I could reach, and often cutting myself in the process, I decided to try this Panasonic nose and ear trimmer. I was surprised at how well it worked on the hairs inside my ears which I couldn't get at before. The unit is quiet so you can barely hear it's on from about a foot away, but you can hear it when it' s in the ear cutting hairs, an indication it's working. There's no pain, no pulling, and no cutting of skin, only hairs. This doesn't cut as close as a blade or even as close as an electric shaver, but close enough so my ears look much better. Not sure how long it'll last. Six months so far using it about once a week. Single AA battery lasts a long time. Easy to clean too. I'm very happy with it and won't hesitate to buy another one when it dies.Rich49
I had a trimmer with a small foil head that worked quite well in the ears but the internal battery died and I didn't like how often I had to charge it. I recently shaved my mustache so really didn't need to trim anything other than the ears and nose. I didn't trust the small head trimmers thinking one would have to be too precise to catch all the tiny hairs. This is not a good product at all. The trimming tech is not very comfortable, while ear hair comes out well the nose one gets plucked which is quite painful. Worse the clip is removable for washing but once removed it never goes back in the groove properly. Threw away after a year of use. Just refuses to get switched on and money wasted!! It works ok not great. It takes a bit of effort for getting the ear hair as it doesn't cut close to the skin at all with that attachment. The attachments aren't that good. One of them I have no idea what to do with it or what it is supposed to be for. It doesn't do the ear hair to well with that ear/nose attachment. The quality is good and holds up its strength. But the nose/ear trimmer is too bulky at the top. It makes it hard to maneuver the trimmer and get in good angles in your nose or ear hairs compared to other trimmers I have used. It feels awkward.Please fix this. I struggle with trying to maintain my beard. Every few days my face looks a mess and I spend at leat 30 minutes doing my beard. This is better than my current trimmer already. My current one is wired which can be annoying at times. I hate having to change the heads to change size, I've also lost a few of them. This trimmer has a dial which lets you change the the size and it has 20 different length settings and it's wireless. It's made everything so simple. I can get a perfect shape up with ease. No wires and no extra parts to fiddle with. It's light and it looks good. What more do we men want. Battery life is decent it has roughly 50 mins usage on a 10 hours charge. The size is perfect, not too wide which makes it easy to hold. It’s not loud when in use. It trims the nose hairs quickly. The eyebrow comb is nice to have. As far as using it as detail trimmer it too is easy to handle and it works well. It is battery operated therefore no cord to have to worry about. It’s easy to clean. While the blades are under running water you need to press on the water drop symbol on the handle to separate the blades to get a better clean. This particular model can be used while in the shower but I personally preferred not to. The only thing that I found I didn't like was after inserting the battery you must be careful not to turn the base too much otherwise it doesn't lock and it remains open. It must be turned SLOWLY 1/4 inch clockwise for it to lock. I would recommend this product to family and friends.tbrjjt

This was my first time using an electric shaver and I'm sorry I hadn't tried it sooner. Gone are the days of shaving cream. This method has proven effective and provides more precision than I anticipated. While I typically forgo the instructions and wing it, I did not find the device intuitive and referenced the manual for guidance. There is a learning curve, but once you get the hang of the process, it's easy to operate, alternate accessories and clean. I love that the set includes everything needed from an exfoliating glove for preparation to a brush for cleaning the appliance to a pouch to store the shaver and its accompaniments. Better yet, the results are amazing. I consistently walk away with a close shave in all areas, provided I use the correct attachments. The key is to apply pressure when in use. This scared me at the outset, likely residual trauma from disposable razors, but it's necessary for an optimal outcome. I consistently get through the process with no nicks and without skin irritation. The hair growth remained at bay for two weeks. Though, disclaimer, I am pale with light red hair so I have a wider margin for error than those with other coloring. The ability to use this whether wet or dry is also an advantage as it has been easy to incorporate in my routine. Other benefits are that it is comfortable to hold and has a long battery life, more than enough to complete the job. The item arrived really quickly and in a nice red box. Inside the box is the shaver itself, a USB charger cable, instructions and a mini cleaning brush. This was my first delve into using an electric shaver but it was really easy to setup. It is really easy to use and didn’t nick or irritate my skin at all which I was worried about as I normally have dry and sensitive skin. It also comes with a guard that you attach to the head of the shaver which you may need for some parts of the body if you don’t want it completely without hair. The design of the shaver is pretty good too. Its predominately white and is easy to hold and fits nicely in my palm. Really love that its waterproof too so you can use it in the shower too. Pros love that it is rechargeable so no need for an endless supply of batteries and the charge seems to last a long time. I purchased this item because in the past I had a Remington and it was very good and functioned well. This one is poorly designed. I am not a technical person so I can not tell you why this machine is not fit for purpose. All I can say is that it does not engage with the hairs and misses most of them cutting only a very few. It is extremely annoying to use and I would not recommend this to anyone. This is a fairly standard nose hair trimmer, washable heads, with a few extra attachments. Overall, I find it to be effective, does its job as it claims to. There is no pulling or yanking of hairs when I use this, which I appreciate, however I find the cutting to be rather slow not as thorough as I would like it to be, which means I have to go over the same area more times than I find necessary. The metal trimmer doesn't cut longer hairs effectively, I seem to have a difficult time positioning the trimmer at the right angel to grab the longer hairs to either cut them down completely or at least trim to a shorter length then cut them again. The hairs that are short do not present the same problem. I have used the eyebrow trimmer and the detailer as well, those seem to be too gentle and don't cut the hairs on first contact. It requires only one AA battery, which means this is portable for travel, however its size is larger than the trimmer I currently use, so I would not bring it on trips. The design is modern, but rather industrial and basic, I would have liked it to be more sleek. The construction feels sturdy, seems like it would endure a drop or two, but I don't anticipate this happening because the material used provides a firm grip.dcyw
This product is very easy to use and I like how it cuts the hair in my nose very easily without having to maneuver too much inside my nose, as it is the case with a product from a different brand that I own. It cuts easily and smoothly, I don't have to wiggle and turn sideways in order to get the hair that is positioned in different angles of my nose. I also have noticed that because the cutter is so efficient and smooth I don't feel on edge when I am cutting the hair in my nose; what I mean is that this trimmer doesn't pull the hair in any uncomfortable way at all, it is very smooth so I definitely rate this trimmer with a 5 out of 5 starts. it is also easy to clean, sturdy and I can tell it will be long lasting judging by the way it performs while I turn it on and they way it cuts. I can't think of anything that should be improved with this trimmer since it already does what other trimmers don't do for me which cutting the hair without having to turn in many different angles. What I like about this trimmer; the attachments work well. The shaving attachment does well trimming the edges of my beard and the hair around my ears and making those perfect straight edges in a hair line. The main attachment it comes with, the one that the guards fit, is great as there is no way to cut yourself. It’s one downside is that it doesn’t cut super close. What I do not like, the nose hair attachment and what I would primarily use this for, is lacking. I have stayed away from the “round” style in the past and I am reminded why. I find it worthless and lacking. The current trimmer I have, is like a miniature standard shaver and is what I have found works best for nose hair.
