Well i have 2 now and have had them all my life, i modify them top to bottom. Adding new motor to redoing the fairings. Ive had the mx500 as a kid. Im now 21 years old, and still ride obviously with the modification to help with range and speed. The only 2 things i would like to point out is that after awhile the sprocket may go due to overtorque from the motor for you new riders. It can be fixed by not hardlaunching the bike. The second is that i have a mx650 from 2006 (purple) and one from (2016). The 2006 looks like is was built with a lot more quality, the welds are more discrete and theres even color on the battery covers compared to a bit sloppyer welds on the newer razor. They are still built to last and are fun to mod and ride.TheTruthBringer
It looks so different when you have it in front of you. It's way too small! Apparently is for young people above 16 years old, but no, it's for a 10 years-old small size kid. One more thing that I didn't like is that it is too noisy. It has grinding and cracking noises coming from the rear wheel. There is nothing in the manual that prepares us for that noise, maybe some little note in the troubleshooting page that advises lubricating the chain, but the problem is not the chain, it's what is inside the wheel, so I put some grease in the axles and the bearings and the grinding sounds, diminished. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix the cracking sound. Think twice before buying this mini bike if you want it for a tall kid or for yourself. Buy it only if you have a large yard or live out the city, because it's illegal to ride it on the streets.JESUS

Trotz einigen Unkenrufen in Internetforen und Youtube: Sehr solides Teil, starker Motor, super Reichweite. Das aktuelle Softwareupdate beseitigt das Überhitzungsproblem an Steigungen (laut Release Notes). Die App enthalt relativ wenig Firlefanz und beschränkt sich auf sinnvolle Features wie z.Bsp. einen Assistenten für sehr steile Abfahrten. Hier greift die Motorbremse automatisch ein, was die Abfahrt sehr viel sicherer macht. Oder den zuschaltbaren Tempomat bzw. Cruise Control. Ob man nun die blaue Bodenbeleuchtung benötigt – wohl eher nicht, man kanns ja in der App abschalten. Die Blinker sind eine gute Idee, wären jedoch nach hinten und vorne gerichtet sinnvoller als in Richtung Boden. Gegenverkehr aus dem Gully hat man ja dann doch nicht soooo oft. Die sind zum Teil an Orten versteckt, die zwar sinnvoll sind, aber man sollte das vielleicht auch in die Anleitung schreiben, wo die sich befinden. I took mine to dominican republic and have ridden it everywhere. Completely in love with this device. Only thing is it had what seems like a manufacturer defect and at 25 mph in a busy street it just stopped its self-balancing function and i fell off and hurt my heel to the point where i had to get X-rays and see that I injured my heel and my knee and my arm.. I still woudnt trade it for anything. Its the best experience I ever had and the most worth it peice of gadget I own till now. I use this to commute in downtown Seattle, much faster than a bike. Have not found a hill it canttake. Its the only wheel that has a service center in America. The pedals are huge and comfortable. The only problems I have are the handle is wobbly and its difficult to pump up the tire. Took me 4 hours to learn to ride forward and a month to be comfortable on the street.Update: crashed at full speed and the wheel went flying and slammed into a tree. The plastic shell shattered in places and I thought I broke it. I was able to immediatelyturn it on and ride it home with no issues other than a broken shell and lots of road rash. I contacted inmotion via email to get a full replacement body and they responded within an hour with an invoice for all the pieces I would need to make it look new for only 200. This included 2 outer shell halves for 35ea, 2 inner shell halves for 35ea, the trolley handle for 40, rubber charger port cover 2 and the tape to make the two inner halves water resistant again 11. I was happy to see great customer service and that you can order any part you need to repair the v10f at a reasonable price. Im even happier with my purchase after dealing with their customer service and knowing that my v10f is easily repairable.MartineAnderson
Ik ben 72, heb nog een goede conditie en het lijkt me cool als ik zo’n ding kan berijden. Ik vind het vooral interessant te zien hoe lang ik erover doe om het te leren. Daarnaast lijkt het me een enorme ervaring als ik zo’n eenwieler net zo goed leer beheersen als een fiets. Helaas mag je er niet mee op de weg, dus zal het vooral ‘off the road’ worden. Harder dan 20 km/h zal ik waarschijnlijk nooit gaan. Ik heb de Inmotion V10F gekocht vanwege de IP55, het 16” wiel en de grootte van de batterij.

She can pick it up on her own which is a plus, and the selectable top speed is good to keep it under control while she got comfortable. One criticism, the suspension is little more than springs, and suggest the buyer spend some time to properly tighten all the fasteners, adjust the controls, and tidy up the wiring behind the number plate. Also needed to trim a small bit of plastic from the shrouds, as the number plate limited the steering lock. Bought this to rip around the HOA since I kept getting complaints for riding the gas ones. Package says 145lb weight limit. Im 230lbs and Ive been riding it around for a week with 0 issues. Purchased this for my 5 year old to learn and grow into for Christmas. My older son started to assemble it and the forks were different lengths, no joke. High quality product , very nice fit and finish ! The Inmotion App works well and the unit itself is very powerful and speedy ! Your muscles will definitely be sore and its quite a workout for your core to turn and navigate on this wheel. Make sure you have safety gear , youll will wipe out many times ! After 3 days I am able to ride around and speed up and slow down with out flying off . Turning is still a bit difficult , dont ride around traffic until you get your confidence. The top speed for this wheel is 20 to 21 mph and the range is roughly 18 miles at an average pace of 15 or 16 mph . Over all a Great purchase, it is a good wheel for a beginner – not an advanced rider wheel – you are going to want more speed after you get used to it . I found a cheaper price elsewhere as well! The shipping was fairly slow , it stayed in California for three days after being scanned by FED EX.JD

The Solowheel Xtreme blows all the competition out of the water. I should know, because I've owned several of these "electric unicycle" thingies, from the cheap made in China trash with no brand name, to Airwheels, to the original Solowheel, and now the Xtreme. And what a nice upgrade it is. Definitely more responsive, the gyro sensors are state of the art, and you really do feel like you're riding the future…. the curve for learning this thing is a tad steep, but I've already had experience with the original Solowheel, so I was pleasantly surprised that the Xtreme had an overall smoother ride.
