20 Best Oil For Dry Frizzy Hair (Feb 2023 Update)

This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. It helps reduce frizz all over and leaves hair looking so healthy and shiny. Again, a little goes a long way, rub between hands well before applying. Definitely test out how much your hair needs because it won't be much. I digress. I let it set a bit before messing with my hair and my curls are so soft and so bouncy after. My curls are between a 3a and 3b so this oil is a miracle oil for me. Highly, highly recommend!anastasia.h

First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

I have oils at home, that to be honest I have forgotten to use recently! Having visited my hairdresser recently this was used on my hair for the first time. I have thick, curly, coarse and frizzy hair. To blow dry it it can be a workout for the arms..and there is no way I can get it as smooth as they can! When this was used (just a couple of drops) on damp hair, the texture of my hair was so smooth and shiny it was amazing. It has certainly not made it greasy or feeling 'weighed down'….just loving the shine and the way it has made my hair look so healthy. This has spurred me on to use up my old oils and then I will be buying this for sure….I also noted that other reviews have suggested other products of the same brand to use at the same time. My hair is naturally ringlet-curly, but the ringlets were always noticeably frizzy. Over the decades I’ve tried oils, creams, mousse, gels, lotions, & potions to try and tame them. I gave up & would blowout my ringlets then straighten my hair, then slather with product. It worked for a while. Enter Covid Hair Loss!! I knew I needed to be gentle with my hair because it was now extremely fragile, which meant cutting way back on heat tools. After an exhaustive search for something new to tame the ringlet-frizz I now had back by letting my hair air dry, I landed on Olaplex No. 7. I honestly did not put a lot of faith in it, but I do now! I use about 7 drops in my hands and apply it to damp hair, then let air dry almost completely. I have zero frizz and perfect curls… ALL DAY! I do use a diffuser just to hit my roots for volume, but that’s it. I went from unruly frizzy curls, to blownout & straightened, to naturally curly shiny non-frizzy hair. It's been YEARS since my hair was this soft. My hair started to get thinner, dry, and dull in my mid twenties and I tried all kinds of things like overnight hair masks, Prose "personalized" shampoo/conditioner, Vegamour drops, and nothing made a difference. In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69

This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. Some hair oils I love for example are the Olaplex and Gisou hair oils!hailey.p

i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

To my surprise, it works even better than the original formula! Having used the older formula, Nutritive Oleo Relax product, for over a decade, I was very skeptical to try this product. The scent is the same, which I love, as its a light rose water like scent. I have naturally curly hair, more frizzy than curly, and like to wear my hair straight. Here’s my routine: I use a nickel size of the Keratine Thermique smoothing taming milk, in my towel dryed hair, blow it out straight and use the Oleo Relax Oil in my hair right before I run a flat iron through it. I’ve found that with the new formula, I only have to use a small amount and it leaves my hair much more tamed and moisturized. I have less fly aways and my hair looks shinier than it did with the older formula. I’ve also found that I don’t need to constantly reapply the oil, as the first time around does the trick. Another bonus is the newer formula is heat-protectant, which makes it perfect for my routine or anyone that uses flat irons on a regular basis. Not only has Keratase updated the product, they have also updated the older plastic bottle to a glass bottle, which prolongs the life of the oil and allows for it to stay fresher. This product makes you look like you have naturally beautiful hair. Overall, I give the new Oleo Relax Oil, 5 Stars, as I was very impressed with the improved formula and packaging. The Kerastase site indicates that this is replacement for the DISCONTINUED OLEO RELAX SERUM. DEFINITELY NOT TRUE! This product is so OILY. Literally "sits" on surface of my hair, making it necessary to keep rubbing it into strands. Does NOT make hair smooth, as the serum used to do for my hair. This product actually makes my long curly hair feel a bit "rough" as opposed to how the serum made my hair feel soft and smooth with resulting straightening effect, making it easier to manage, comb, style. This oil also has an unappealing odor (notice I did not say "scent" b/c it is a bit off-putting). Also stays on hands, having to use (liquid) soap and very warm/hot water to remove, with two applications of soap. Definitely will NOT purchase this again. I have half bottle of the original, using it judiciously. I have tried in vain to locate the original serum but like other reviewers have written, the product is being sold by scalpers at outlandish prices from $85 to $150 PER bottle. Way out of my budget. I've written to Kepastase and have answered their survey questions, indicating that I'd appreciate knowing which product would BEST approximate the discontinued serum, and not one response. Only be searching today on the site was there finally a reference to the original serum, with the advice to try this unacceptable, inferior Advanced Hair Oil. I really enjoy this product. I have very oily hair so I was worried it might make my hair more oil. But, it didn't. The product works very well at keeping my little baby hairs under control. I do not spray it on all of my hair, rather I just apply it to my hair part. The product does not completely stop frizz for me, but it does improve my frizz situation overall. My only complaint it that the mist is not my favorite scent. I almost wish it was unscented. I like the initial coconut tropical type smell but then there is a weird after smell that I am not a huge fan of.Fumie64

It’s odd that I love this and am peeved by this at the same time. It has alcohol in it which you smell right away after spraying it on… almost smells like Aquanet. You think it would strip your hair but it doesn’t. It does smooth your hair down quite well. I spray it on right before I apply Biolage’s leave in treatment and wrap my hair up for bed. In the morning, my long hair is hydrated and completely smooth all the way down to the ends. And it smells like a tropical beach… who doesn’t love that?liz.b

I like that this product is a spray as sometimes the application of a pump oil creates too much in the hair. The spray is a great way to apply and it never looks oily or greasy and my hair doesn't appear stringy later on. I also like the light scent and the price is right.Leebs

I got this Dae Pricky Hair Oil given to me for free in exchange of my honest review. The pump of the oil is easy to use. Right away when you smell the oil it seems really good. It smells fruity which comes from the sweet prickly pear seed oil. The three main nature ingredients are the sweet fruit smelling sweet prickly pear seed oil, the hair moisturizing meadowfoam seed oil, and the morning leaf extract that is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. I have thin straight to a little wavy nature hair. I tried it both on my dry hair before taking a shower and on my damp hair after I got out of the shower. When I put it on my dry hair I saw a big difference. It helped straighten my hair and made it look shinny in a healthy way not in an oily way. I think if you don’t want to deal with straightening your hair and want it to look straighter this would be a good go to for styling your hair or when your hair is a little dirtier and you don’t want it to show. On my damp hair I didn’t really see a difference but that might be because I used conditioner in the shower and brushed my hair so I already smoothed it out and it was not detangled so if did not need to be detangled which is what it is meant to do on damp hair. If I try it on my damp hair without having used a conditioner or brush my hair before then I think the hair oil would help to detangle my hair. I really like how it looked on my dry hair and for styling purposes. If I wanted my hair to look better on a bad hair day or when my hair was a little dirtier this hair oil would definitely meet my need and I would definitely recommend this hair oil.girlsrule104

This comes in lovely packaging and I appreciate the beauty and aesthetic of the glass bottle on my vanity. As someone with a nose sensitive to hair products, this scent is delicately light, sweet and fresh, enjoyable – perfect for all year round, but especially summer time! The formulation is also incredibly light and doesn’t weigh down my hair, but instead adds a nice shine and makes my hair soft! It is also easy to travel with, but may leak a little, though the oil stays inside the cap. The pump also adds to ease of use. The only reason I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because of this: for $36 and only 1.7 oz, I can’t say that Dae beats my $4 organic coconut oil jar in terms of delivering moisture/hydration, or shine. This oil makes my hair look soft and shiny without weighing it down and reducing volume. I have very long, thick, and dry and brittle hair that is incredibly prone to tangling and breakage. While I love how it makes my hair look, what has really blown me away about this product is how well it has improved manageability. It has significantly reduced tangling and made it so much quicker and easier to brush through my hair and has reduced tugging on my hair during brushing, so I have also seen much less breakage since I have been using this oil. I primarily use this by applying generously to damp hair, focusing on the ends, and working the excess further up in my hair. Occasionally, I also apply a small amount of this oil product to dry hair to tame frizz. Because this product is called a hair oil, I was expecting it to have the consistency of an oil, but I would consider this to have more of a plush serum consistency. As a result, this product is surprisingly lightweight and I find I can apply it very generously without my hair looking oily or weighed down. I love the summery fresh scent of this product, and I find it to be perfectly balanced to my liking- it's strong enough to notice and enjoy it, but I don't find it overpowering or lingering too much.twomonsters

The last time I used this stuff was 5 or 6 years ago (before chopping it all off) and it's as great as it ever was! A tiny amount (4-6 drops) goes a long way toward taming floof and keeping the ends of my now shoulder length wavy/curly hair looking much healthier than they actually are (trimming my own hair during COVID has been… rough and largely ineffective). It's much "drier" than other hair oils I've used, so it doesn't leave my hair greasy, but it really sticks around to do its job-especially for a product without silicone! I never write reviews but I'm writing this as I would never want this hair oil to be discontinued! I have been using it as a pre- wash treatment for a few hours or overnight before shampooing it out (with the smooth infusion line) and this has made a huge difference to my hair. I have curly dry hair that I nearly always straighten and adding this in has made it feel cleaner and more bouncy while also being smooth and shiny. I am suprised this product wasn't even listed here. I had read reviews on this product and they were all positive, so I decided to go out and buy it because the oil I was using left my hair a bit heavy and it wasn't that great. Upon acquiring this product I had really high expectations. I must say, the first couple of times I was unimpressed, in fact, I was quite disappointed. But it turns out my hair does not absorb this well when wet or damp. Ever since I started applying this on towel dried hair, my hair has been AMAZING! Soo so shiny, smooth, soft, hydrated, lightweight… just perfect! Plus my hair absorbs it super quick unlike other oils, and it smells DELICIOUS! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!ana.a

This product works well to tame my frizzy, dry hair. I use three pumps when my hair is wet and one when it is dry. It goes on light and has a faint pleasant smell. I thoroughly enjoy this oil, it’s really lightweight for an Argan oil so it doesn’t weigh down my finer hair at all even when I apply this to dry hair in between washes. I really like the smell of this product too and find that it really lasts in my hair as well. My only issue with this oil is that it has silicones in, which after doing some research I’ve now swapped to a silicone-free alternative since this seems to be better for my hair – but I’d recommend looking into this yourself. Overall, this is a really nice oil that I’d definitely consider repurchasing if my current silicone-free oil wasn’t available.Megan

I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. It has a good serum consistency and it adds beautiful shine. I will 100% buy it again and this actually makes me want to try out more from Verb!Holls

I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. My hair is fried. Well half of it is anyways. I started growing my hair out about 2½ years ago and it has gotten very long. I first was introduced to this product when it came in an awards so swag bag. i'd heard of this brand before but have never tried anything from them. let me tell you, from the first time i put this in my hair i was hooked!! i bleach my hair to be able to dye with fun colors. the toll it takes on my hair – mega damage! i use this on wet hair. when my hair dries it is silky soft like bleach has never touched my hair. you only need one pump and the bottle will last you a VERY long time. it plays well with blow dryers and flat irons as well. i also believe its extends styling by a few extra days! the *only* downside is that it is on the pricey side. but consider this – you'll stop buying random products looking for "the one" that will give you these results. very happy Sephora is carrying this – wish more of their stores carried it in stock tho! – as i've ben looking for this product the second i ran out of that first bottle of it. like my headline says, its worth every penny bcuz this product WORKS so well!loldhams

I been using WOW products for a while (shampoo + conditioner) that I wanted to try other products. I have always been a DIY person, when it came to my hair I done a lot of oil treatments, even made my own masks.. After a while, it gets tiring and it becomes to much of a hassle. So when I saw this hair oil I was pretty excited to try it since I know the benefits of the type of ingredients that are used. I am so happy that I bought this!! I usually leave it on for an 45 mins to an hour, it leaves my hair so soft and gives it this natural volume! Its crazy, I usually don't brush my hair when its wet, I let it air dry and gets frizzy, but when I use this oil prior, it really does tame the frizz. So I highly recommend this one! I have been using the Shampoo and Conditioner and was curious to try other WOW products, I bought this oil the end of last year and let me tell you I am so happy that I did! I have always been a DIY person, made my own hair oils, hair masks and whatever else I can do to make my hair pretty. But after a while it gets tiring and becomes a hassle, so when I saw this and the ingredients I was very excited to try it. When I first used it I was like wow this is nice but now that I been using more of it and actually been paying attention to what it does to my hair it’s great! It leaves my hair soft and I Gives it this natural volume. When I wash my hair I usually let it air dry and usually it tends to get a little frizzy but when I use this prior it really does tame my frizz. I started using this in August 2020. It has done wonders for my hair. In November my beautician remarked at how soft my hair is. I found the best way to use it to apply the night before I plan on washing my hair. After I massage into the scalp and brush through my hair I then put my hair into a shower cap. I get my blow dryer and on a low setting I point the dryer at the shower cap and try to get an even distribution of heat. I do this for 5-10 minutes then wrap a warm towel around the shower cap. When cooled I put my hair up in a bun and wash in morning. This product has changed my hair for the good! Picture in blue top is from August 2020 and the red top is January 2021. Wish I could have given this a higher rating. I was so excited to use this product along with the shampoo since they both had good reviews with very little bad ones. So I buy them and use them leaving the hair oil on for the directed time then used the shampoo and other conditioner I have. After washing my hair it still looked really oily like I hadn’t washed it for days. I didn’t think much of it but a day or two after the first use I started getting little bumps on my forehead and side of my face on both sides that were itchy and started getting dandruff. I put aloe on the little bumps that helped with the itchiness, I still didn’t think nothing of it so I use the oil again and used a dandruff shampoo to wash it out but felt the symptoms worsen. That’s when I realized I’m having a bad reaction to the product and washed it out again with a different shampoo and went to get Benadryl. I looked more at the reviews and seen a few people had the same experience as I did. Still dealing with the symptoms as it just happens last week. Would have given it zero stars if I could! Have been using this product for a few weeks in hopes of it thickening up my edges. My hair has mostly been in protective styles and wanted to work on strengthening it. I noticed how the back of my neck would burn a bit/ itch after about 5-10 minutes from applying. However, I continued to use it as I thought it may just be my scalp adjusting to the mint and rosemary. Because eventually the burning stopped. I struggled mostly with the nape of my hair from ponytails, so that is where I focused on applying the oil. Over the next few days into week, I noticed the nape of my hair thinning tremendously! It has eventually turned into an enlarged baldness area. I also broke out with very painful rash like dry patches along my neck. I am furious!!!! But more so embarrassed and extremely sadden at the damage it has caused. Since this has been the only change to the products I have been using on the last 5 years of being natural. Hoping it can be treated and restored. I also googled this product and see many other costumers have shared very similar experiences of a burning sensation and hair loss. I started experiencing hair loss in 2020 and trust me, I tried EVERYTHING. This rosemary line, especially this scalp oil, and pumpkin seed oil supplements are what saved my hair and now it’s as thick and healthy as when I was a teenager. I don’t find this oil too heavy, and as long as I’m careful with it I can use it without getting my hair super oily. The night before a hair wash I will put extra on, work it into the scalp, and sleep with a cap on to let it all soak in. I used to deal with dry scalp and this totally fixed that issue as well. It’s super hydrating, and feels stimulating and refreshing. I used to use minoxidil but I hated that as soon as I stopped using it for one day the hair would just fall out again! Plus it made my scalp itchy. This is a drug free option that actually works. The shampoo and hair mask from this line are also excellent.Jo

Tried this product right away and instantly loved the smell. Reminds me of a candy scent but not too strong as I am usually averse to strong scents. The consistency is thick so a few pumps would do. I applied it over my dry hair and tamed the frizz I got from diffusing my curly hair. My hair is so soft and not floofy. I'd be using it next time on semi dry hair and see if its better. Also used this in conjunction with the milk spray for heat protection.Jenna G.

I was really impressed with how fast my products shipped and arrived from North Authentic (I’m in Southern California). Great customer service too. I really appreciated the bag and lavender seeds I received with my package. In terms of the product, I’m a little disappointed in how little oil was in the bottle. I've been loving this brand for a while now and when people ask me what to buy, I instantly recommend davines because their products are the holy grail for my hair! ⠀ The only downside of this product (excluding the price because it's worth every cent for me) is the smell. Smells like some weeds, some people love it, but I'm not a fan of it. ⠀ It's a see-through oil, you don't need a lot, even though I use like 8 pumps of it because my hair is very porous, but for fine hair, you need 1-3 pumps, oil is endless. ⠀ It doesn't weigh your hair down (if you won't use too much), gives a natural shine to hair, removes the frizz and hides some split and white ends till the next hair wash. ⠀ Definitely, one of my favourite oils and I'll definitely be repurchasing it!beatrise.r

This nourishing hair oil from Sol de Janeiro performs pretty well, and I love that it has the classic scent from their Bum Bum cream! The bottle is beautiful and made of weighted glass, giving it a lux feel. The formula is rich and definitely on the thicker side, but once warming in between my fingers I am able to apply it easily. Just 1-2 pumps is enough to disperse throughout my ends to mid-length without going overboard (I have relatively long hair). I can also confirm that it works to calm frizzies, makes my hair more manageable and gives a nice shine. While it is nourishing to a degree as well, I wish it delivered more moisture into my hair. Adding more doesn’t seem to do much for hydration, while adding too much just makes my hair look greasy and slick as expected. Despite that drawback, I still think this makes a great light hair oil overall. I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review.Alyeeh

I really enjoy this hair oil, especially the smell! The fragrance is the same as the original fragrance in the rest of the line. The smell is really heavy, but not overwhelming. It does calm down, but you’ll still be able to smell it all day. I have long thick hair with dry ends and rely on oils and and sprays to keep it soft and manageable. Most oils I will use a dime sized portion, but this product comes in a glass bottle with a dispenser that only puts out one drop at a time. The consistency is tick, even sticky, more like a serum than a runny oil. Being so thick, using more than a drop or 2 does leave my hair greasy. It’s well worth the price and I’ll definitely repurchase for the fragrance alone, but it won’t replace my other products that I still need for tangles and frizz. My only real complaint is that a glass bottle and oily hands don’t mix – I’ve dropped it several times and worry it will shatter one of these days. Just be super careful with that and you’ll love it!alexrae

Ok, so I bought this on the app early access day and will give my honest review. I use many different oils as I like to switch up my products every time I wash my hair, including Moroccan oil, olaplex oil, Dae prickly pair oil, ouia oil, gisou and briogeo don’t despair repair hair oil. Compared to all of those, this is by far the thickest oil for sure. I have thick straight hair and a lot of it, so I can get away with a good amount of oil. I am a stay at home mom so I have times where I actually use products to style my hair, and times where I put in more nutrient moisturizing products to just let it sit in a bun. This oil is definitely better distributed on damp hair, on dry hair it’s kind of thick and skips as you run your fingers through but I have to say it smells AMAZING and does have a few unique ingredients which I look for when buying hair care. With that being said this is definitely more of a treatment oil for me that a styling oil and it gives self care vibes with the smell so I give it a 5 star! Would be nice if it was slightly less thick but I’m sure that’s due to the unique ingredients. Sorry for the long review! I bought this oil years ago, as my hair was/is prone to flyaways & frizz. I couldn't remember why I didn't keep using it, so I thought I would give it another try. I like the look of the bottle, but am afraid of using it in my bathroom in case I drop it on the floor and it smashes! I tried it on both wet and dry hair and only used a tiny amount, as I have fine hair. My hair felt really nice and soft at first, but it went greasy and stringy within hours of using it. This Extraordinary Oil makes my wiry hair so soft and glossy especially after applying the oil in my hair before blow drying. I love the feel of the oil which is not too oily and my hair just soaks it up and looks rejuvenated. I have coloured hair which has become wiry and dry with age. I’m in the older age group and really welcome this product which works wonderfully well, looks luxurious in the bottle and has a subtle fragrance that exudes sophistication. I bought this because I went from virgin dark brown hair to blonde.. to silver.. and now pink and lost at least a good 6 inches of length doing so. I have really dry hair now and overall it's pretty messed up now. I've been buying all kinds of masks and leave in conditioners but oh my god nothing has EVER – not even my healthy virgin hair – EVER made my hair as silky and soft as this product. My hair went from not stretching at all just breaking at the slightest pull to stretching quite a bit in just two uses… I'm shocked. It's worth every penny. And it does seem to be lasting a while given the fact 100ml doesn't seem like a lot. I've ordered myself another one now it's on sale even though i still have 90% of my forst bottle!! Cant say enough about this product!!!! IT IS AWESOME!!! Wish I would have found this stuff so much sooner. I have thick, coarse, unruly hair that is somewhat wavy, more like lumpy. It takes a lot of heat to style my hair. And then it's still frizzy and not so straight after using the highest heat setting on my hair dryer and straightener. Someone told me about this stuff. I ordered it thinking "great, another product to add to my collection." Well to my surprise, IT WORKED!!! I use it on my hair when wet, about 2 pumps. And then about 2 more pumps before I style when dry. Not greasy or oily at all. I use it every day. My hair loves it. It has transformed my hair , and it gets my hair straighter than it has ever been. Also works great when curling your hair. It works great with any hairstyle. No frizz, looks shiny and healthy, even helps on humid days. Why would you not want to try this stuff?? If it can help my hair, it's a winner!! I have naturally wavy hair and have used a number of products to help with the frizz. I am pleasantly surprised with this serum. It has a nice subtle scent to it and it's not too thick and oily. Best hair oil I’ve come across! So lightweight but effective. I don’t even remember how I was introduced to this oil, but I am glad I was! Barely any scent. A slight baby powder can be hinted from the bottle but barely there. Your hair will be shiny and soft using this oil. No matter how much is applied, your hair won’t be weighed down. I’ve used a few different argan oils for my hair, most common ones being the OGX and Hanz De Fuko Hair Oil. The Forte Series beats them both by a mile! I have fine hair, so those of you who are like me know it’s hard to find a good product that controls frizz while not weighing your hair down too much. This does just that! It’s not too oily and heavy (much like the OGX ) and does a better job controlling the frizz when compared to HDF Hair Oil. This stuff goes on super easy and evenly and leaves my hair soft all day. The scent is the same as the molding paste so no need to worry about clashing fragrances. Fine Hair Tip: after washing with shampoo and towel drying, I mix a drop of this in my hand with the Molding Paste as a pre-styler to give my hair so much more volume when blow drying!Matt M.

I absolutely love this product. The smell is amazing and it makes my hair soft and somewhat glossy. When i apply the product to my hair, it glides smoothly across, which I really like. I use hair dryers a lot throughout the week when I style my hair, so I also needed something that could work as a heat protectant, and this product does just that. I also bought this for my friend for his birthday, he really likes how it leaves his hair feeling super soft and smooth. When my friend got skeptical about some of the ingredients, we started investigating the ingredients, only to find that basically every single ingredient on the list is directed to promote healthy hair. Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). So, needs a little bit more accuracy in the product labelling: Made from 100% pure peppermint oil, but not 100% in the bottle.Alan

It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. I went looking for information and learned a-lot, I asked my doctor for advice also. We think it happened because of a medication I was taking for my heart rate. So I stopped taking it and am now taking something else that doesn’t cause hair loss. I got a brush that stimulates blood cells on my scalp to help with regrowth, I also am using a new shampoo and conditioner. I am not putting my hair in any ponytail or using elastic. I sleep with a silk pillow case to help with my hair not breaking off. And I am taking vitamins for my hair, skin nails. And I have been using oils on my scalp and hair, they are castor oil, tea tree oil, coconut oil, vitamin E. I have been using them once a day and the night before I Shower I put a-lot more in to sit overnight before washing out. I see a difference and i see baby hairs growing all over and My hair hasn’t been breaking off like before, and when I brush my hair I haven’t been losing as much hair as I was 6months ago.jahnay.w

Absolutely marvelous! Been locked down for over 3 weeks and ordered it cos my stylist showed me she uses it when she diffuses my hair. It's been getting bad, unable to get knots out no matter how many masks and conditioners I pile on. After a cocktail of 2, I gently used a wide-toothed comb last night, and there were those shiny curls she gives me. I thought this was a spray but no, it pumps into your hand.
