In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69
This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. Some hair oils I love for example are the Olaplex and Gisou hair oils!hailey.p
i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

Now I have very long, semi thick hair, that's very coarse. I use shampoo and conditioner regularly but sometimes that's not enough to give me the sleek shine I like, or if I need help defining my waves during a blowout, the OGX Morrigan and Argan oil is wjat I turn to. It's got a very pleased scent to it, and you need only about a Nickle sized amount distributed through the hair to get the desired results. I bought a little bottle maybe about a year ago for roughly $7 and it is still more than halfway full with constant use. I love the shine it gives my hair and I love how effective it is. And the smell is so fragrant and nice! It makes me feel like I've just come out of a spa day. You can find this at most retailers and like I mentioned it's normally under $10. This product is my now go to after I hop out of the shower. Using it on damp hair before a blow dry leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day. It’s given back my dull hair its shine. My hair is bleached so it always feels dry and damaged, even after styling with other heat protectant sprays, but this hair oil has helped maintain my frizz even days after use. I have been using this after the shower for around 4 weeks and am loving it. I’ve gotten a few close friends using it too now as it’s a cheap alternative to the hair oils from the hair care shops. I use a bit over a 50 cent sized amount and have barely made a dint into the product. The ogx argan oil also has a lovely smell that meshes well with my shampoo and conditioner. I can also extend the period of time between washes which is so great as it takes me so long to wash and style my hair. I usually have to wash my hair every three days as it will start getting dry and gets knotty very easily. I can now get around a week before my hair needs a wash. My hair also has been more durable and I have been experiencing way less breakage as well as loosing less hair throughout the day. It’s also become way more easy to brush my hair in the mornings and I’m experiencing much less tangles, I believe this is because my hair is more nourished and healthy so its getting tangled less then with my dry hair with no product. The only negative thing I have noticed is if my hair isn’t damp enough or if i try and use it after straightening my hair it makes my hair look oily and weighed down, this is more user error then a problem with the oil itself. With the negatives aside I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with bleached hair or thicker hair. This oil claims to be a penetrating oil and I whole heartland agree, I have used many oils on the market and most just leave a layer if oil on top (yes even when I apply with towel dried hair) and some are not at all affordable. I have never tried an oil that makes such a difference on my hair and leaves barely any residue, I use a generous amount and my hair still sucks all the oil up. My hair thrives with oil because of how much heat and bleach I use on it, its given my hair so much shine and smoothness back into it. I am extremely happy with how my hair has turned out. I just received it and I love it already! It made my hair really soft, smooth and shiny! Some people complain this is full of chemicals (silicones) that are bad for the hair. The hair is dead and if you want it smooth and shiny, you need to condition it with things like emollients, and some also act as occlusives to seal everything in (such as silicones and argan oil) and they also act as a protective barrier against things like humidity (bye bye frizzy hair). The only problem with silicones is that some are hard to get out the hair, but if you use an appropriate shampoo once in a while (one with sulfates works very well), you will prevent too much build up from happening. But don’t be scared by it, because it’s that build up that protects you hair and makes it look amazing. It won’t damage your hair in the long term, just make sure to use a silicon free shampoo that clarifies the hair once in a while. So yeah, I loved this product. The only downside is the smell. A lot of people love it and I agree that it’s not bad, it’s very fresh and salon-y. But I don’t like my hair smelling hair products too much. It’s not very strong however, so I’m okay about it. I have oils at home, that to be honest I have forgotten to use recently! Having visited my hairdresser recently this was used on my hair for the first time. I have thick, curly, coarse and frizzy hair. To blow dry it it can be a workout for the arms..and there is no way I can get it as smooth as they can! When this was used (just a couple of drops) on damp hair, the texture of my hair was so smooth and shiny it was amazing. It has certainly not made it greasy or feeling 'weighed down'….just loving the shine and the way it has made my hair look so healthy. My hair is naturally ringlet-curly, but the ringlets were always noticeably frizzy. Over the decades I’ve tried oils, creams, mousse, gels, lotions, & potions to try and tame them. I gave up & would blowout my ringlets then straighten my hair, then slather with product. It worked for a while. Enter Covid Hair Loss!! I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav
So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! This oil has saved my dead ends, it makes my hair so soft, smell so good and has a beautiful shine. It's really helped revive my damaged hair. Growing up I was always taught to use drug store shampoo conditioner, I had never used anything different or tried any hair oils or masks and where I live we have hard water and it's really taken a toll on my hair over the years. So I started using better shampoo, hair oils, masks treatments and got a shower filter and it's really helped so much. I've tried a couple oils and since using this one I've really noticed a difference. I also have oilyish hair and I thought hair oils would weigh down my hair and make it feel greasy and some that I've tried have but this one doesn't and you don't need much of it. I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I bought this because a hair oil I used for years stopped being sold, and I used to love Moroccan oil in high school. I have very long hair (it's at the small of my back and I'm 5'7"). It's kind of a light-brown/dark-blonde with a hint of red, moderately dense, but the individual hairs are mostly fine and prone to both dry ends and oily mid-lengths. I always use a curl cream and a hair oil to bring out my waves and keep it soft. My last oil treatment had water as the first ingredient and my hair absolutely loved it. What I liked: A little goes a very long way. Tipping the bottle quickly to coat my fingertip was enough for my wet hair (plus a bit less on the ends when dry). It smells amazing, definitely lived up to my memory of that dreamy Moroccan oil smell. As soon as I applied it, my hair felt wonderfully silky and easy to run my fingers through. After I let it air dry as usual, my mid-lengths were very soft, and even the dead ends felt a little nicer to touch (I really needed a haircut when I tried it). The shine is absolutely incredible! It was glossy all the way to the ends, and didn't make my mid-lengths stringy/oily looking (I use Sebastian dark oil now, and need to be a lot more careful with how much I apply or it gets stringy). I got so many compliments on how shiny my hair was the next day. What I didn't like: The first use was amazing, but after i used it for a couple weeks my hair started to feel heavy and hung straighter. It was still shiny, but looked less full and the ends were getting more dry over time. Ultimately, I think having silicone as a first ingredient makes hair oils too heavy for me (though I've yet to find another with water first). I consider this to be more like "hair makeup". If I was going to an event I would 100% use again for the amazing glossy look and intoxicating smell. This beautifully fragranced oil is the perfect addition to the L'Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Purple range. I received this product complimentary from Bumble and bumble. This is such a wonderful oil that is perfect for my long, wavy and frizzy hair. I spray a small amount onto my damp or dry hair and work it with my fingers into my hair. It has such nice clear smooth texture and a beautiful clean scent. It absorbs quickly into my hair without weighing my hair down. I then style my hair. After just one use my frizzy hair that is prone to damage, split ends and breakage looked so much better. It makes my hair feel silky soft and it does not leave any buildup or a greasy feeling. My hair is easy to style and has such a beautiful shine and looks healthy. It really tames my frizz. I love this hair oil! I have extremely bleached and colored hair, so hair oil is my everyday essential. I have been using one of the big brands for years and never met any oil that can replace it until I found this Bb Invisible Oil. I like that its plumped design so it's easy to use without making a mess. The scent is light coconut. After applying to my damp hair, it's not greasy at all and absorbs fast, and layers very well just with a few drops. My hair instantly feels hydrated, soft, and smooth. I love this product, it's the only hair oil I have used that doesn't make my hair look greasy, it's really lightweight and I love the smell. My first bottle has lasted me over a year as a little goes a long way (I only use on wet hair, usually every other day), so although it's not cheap I think the price is good considering how often I'll be replacing it! I do think it reduces frizz, it doesn't 100% get rid of it for me, but it's definitely better with this oil rather than without and it gives my hair a healthy shine. My only criticism is that I wish there was a lid, when I travel with it I have to put it in a sandwich bag as I have previously left it loose in my wash bag only to have everything covered in oil as the pump has accidentally been pushed down whilst in the bag. I just ordered a new bottle and some has even leaked into the package it came in, not a lot, but this would be completely solved if it had a lid. I was pretty impressed by this product! I have wanted a hair oil for quite some time and figured since I have LOVED my other products from this company I’m might like this one too! There is plenty of product in the bottle which is nice considering how small it looks. Keep in mind that the product comes out quickly and using too much of the oil on your hair can make it look greasy. I have used this treatment 5 times so far, and plan to continue using because my hair issues are improving. The difference in the way my hair looks and feels were not dramatic after one use, although my hair felt more manageable after one treatment. I have extremely dry, thin hair, but I have a lot of hair so it appears tho be quit thick. I have always used more topical treatments to add texture, and moisturize my hair. I found it interesting that massaging the scalp with the oil would help with these issues. So following the directions starting from the root/scalp I think is important. The recommended small amount distributed through the hair was definitely not enough oil for the amount of hair I have, although the oil does distribute easily through the hair. There are a few recommendations for using. You can apply 30 minutes before shampoo to dry hair (this is the only recommended treatment I have used), apply and wrap your head with a warm moist towel for 15 minutes before shampoo, or apply and leave in over night (preferred). I think I probably need the latter for best results, but the smell is not good for me. I am not sure why the oil has an antiseptic smell. It's not refreshing, however the smell does not linger, and it washes right out. I read the list of ingredients to try and figure out why it has this smell. I think it must be from the natural oil extracts. My hair definitely appears to have more texture, and it is a lot more manageable. It looks less dry, and healthier. I have dandruff and split ends problem so I purchased this oil. The main thing why I wasn't using any kind of oil was that I go to work everyday and giving oil n leaving overnight used to make my hair oily and with shampoo rinse the oil won't go off. But THIS SHAMPOO IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It also reduced my drandruff after the 1st application itself. PROS: 1. lightweight 2. Doesn't make our face oily too after application 3. Rinse of easily 4. I noticed less dandruff quickly after using this product. It leaves my scalp feeling healthier, and leads to my hair being healthier, shinier, and more lustrous, even though my hair is often colored. My hair is so soft and more vibrant than ever, and so much less frizzy! I have since gone back to my hair stylist to trim off those dead split-ends. The product from this company says it helps with hair loss too, which is what I suffer from now in my mid-30’s, and although I have not used this long enough to be able to tell whether the anti-hair-loss works, I know for a fact that my head feels a lot healthier – so I am very hopeful about the anti-hair-loss in the long run. The texture and smell may be something to get used to for some. I mean, it’s fragrance-free, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t smell like jojoba oil, or tea tree essential oil, or whatever your nose is sensitive to. If you’ve tried other hair oils, the texture is like that: thickish. WOW company’s hair oil really answers a lot of my hair own issues. All the ingredients listed in this hair oil are all essential oils and botanical extracts that are beneficial to the scalp, hair, and hair roots – and it’s cold-pressed AND all natural ingredients! I’m going to stick with this product for a few months to see how it battles my hair loss. I really can’t wait to find out! Even with rogaine, it takes at least a month to notice any differences. I really like the pump, so I can control how much oil you pump out. I don’t mind those disposable single use ones, nor the disposable multi-use larger ones for weekly treatments, but I prefer this. I have long hair, and my spouse has short hair. We both use different amounts, so once again, I have to say – LOVE the pump. To use this, apply it to your clean scalp (if you wash your hair every day anyways, this won’t be a problem, but if you don’t wash your hair for 2+ days, then it’s better to clean your hair first so that your scalp can absorb the oils better). You really want to focus it all over your scalp and not just your hair. So I apply it into my scalp first by gently massaging it in all over, then I comb it down through my hair to spread the oils down through my hair. If I need more for my hair, I apply sparingly and gently comb it through my hair. I prefer to wrap my hair with a damp/moist towel to sort of heat it for the first 15-20 minutes. Then I take the towel off and just leave it in my hair for another 45 minutes minimum (total of 1 hour minimum or so). Some people do it overnight and it does say it’s preferable to do this in the instructions, but I really don’t like to sleep with it in my hair. Shampoo and conditioner your hair as usual.Joanna

I love this product. I have naturally curly fine hair that is color treated. Living in Michigan the humidity changes seasonally so I tend to change products during the year. This is my 2nd bottle and a little goes along way . Absolutely love Aveda products but they are not all created equally. This is by far the best . A mixture between a oil & serum this acts as a moisturiser but also keeps frizz at bay . This product has replaced two previous product ( so cost effective) as my hair is thick so It usually requires constant moisturising. I have 3B/3C Natural hair that tends to get dry/ frizzy easily, but this has been a god send . I use half a pump daily, in winter months but less often in the summer . The moisturizing and styling results are good when I distribute it evenly after blowing out my long, wavy hair (after applying Nutriplenish leave-in spray and some Light Elements Smoothing Fluid on my wet hair). But the Pure-Fume™ smell is not pleasant to me; it's even a slightly nauseating. I was told by my stylist that it is a replacement for Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil, which had a heavier, but less sweet perfume that I preferred. Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. This Oil is so Lux and it's definitely worth it. I've been looking for an oil I can use while straightening my hair that will moisturize yet not weigh it down and this product helps go above and beyond. My hair is shiny bouncy and full and leaves me with that salon look, which i could never achieve before. I have pretty fine curly 3B hair and you wouldn't even know with this oil. It definitely left me with a salon silk out when i was done. I love that it is additionally a thermal and UV heat protectant as well. love this product.kimmie
I bought this for myself a couple of times & just bought it for a gift. Oils can weigh down my straight fine hair but this one doesn’t! A medication I was taking made my hair frizzy & difficult, this softens my hair and I like that I can add it later in the day to dry hair for extra frizz control (I live in Houston) and my hair absorbs it instead of just laying on top of the hair and looking greasy. After shampooing, I use 2 pumps of the oil & 4 of L’anza’s Healing Smooth Smoother Straightening Balm and a hot straightening brush (love that). Game changers in helping my frizzed out wrecked out hair!
So my stylist recommended this to me because she sells it at her salon. I saw that ulta had a sale on these and I bought it with the mask. The mask was not good. This oil however was good at first when you put it on, the next day it will dry out and your hair feels dry afterward. Then when you get it wet and shower your hair is back to silky soft again. It's almost as if there's some sort of chemical that made it that way. I have to look into it. But it smells good. It just dry my hair out on the 2nd or 3rd day so I can't go far after using this without rinsing my hair off. It's not like putting coconut oil on your hair where the oil doesn't evaporate and dry your hair out. This thing does. Maybe it's the alcohol or silicone? This is def not suitable for someone like me with dry damaged over bleached hair. I recently started trying the Moroccan Oil oily scalp treatment a few times a week right before wash day. I leave it on for about 5 minutes each time and gently move the product around by massaging it into the scalp. It is not oily and feels like a serum for your scalp. I feel that we always forget how important our scalp is so I’m glad I started incorporating this into my pre-wash routine. I have a very oily scalp as I have combination skin. I have noticed that after using this treatment my scalp feels more balanced though still a bit oily and soothed. Since my scalp is oily I tend to use a lot of dry shampoo which tends to build up so using a treatment to get rid of this build up I believe has helped in the last few weeks! First of all, let me start by saying I have VERY oily roots. I get oily the day after washing my hair and usually have to wash it everyday or every other day (not good i know but i can’t stand being greasy). I also have dry ends to make things worse. When I tried this, my scalp felt really fresh and my roots were voluminous and full. It was easy to use and didn’t feel heavy at all. Felt super nice and cooling. I did not really notice a significant change in oiliness though. I still got fairly oily the next day but that could just be that i’m too oily? I don’t know. What I can say is this helped with volume and my scalp felt clean and purified. It didn’t feel stripped or dehydrate which I like because usually a lot of oily hair or clarifying products are super drying. This one didn’t feel bad on my dry ends either. Overall, I like it. But Would I call it a holy grail? Probably not. However everyone’s different so maybe this could work for you if your hair isn’t as oily as mine! So I rate it a 7/10!!Julia120
I have struggled with hair confidence my entire life. I have average hair, but overall it is thin and fine and prone to damaged ends even without coloring. My biggest struggle though has always been that I have almost no natural volume and very straight smooth textured hair, which makes styling a nightmare, For the longest time I showered and blow-dried and curled and teased every single day. About 8 years ago I learned that people with often oily scalps could benefit from washing their hair less often and I started to train my hair for fewer washes. For the last 4 years or so I've been washing my hair at most once a week using high quality products but I still struggled with heavy roots and oily scalp and difficulty adding texture without damaging my hair more. A year and a half ago I read somewhere that extra hydration and more focus on my scalp/roots could help me in my specific situation as maybe my hair is overproducing what I'm not giving it enough of and I decided to try Moroccan Oil products. The Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner felt great and definitely made my hair and scalp feel healthier, but after I tried the REPAIR PRODUCT TRIO and paired it with the OILY SCALP TREATMENT I noticed the most difference and long term results for a little bit of natural volume without over-drying my scalp and recovery/repair for my ends and part line areas where I tease most often. If you're new to the products I recommend ordering a variety of the travel sizes and trying them a few weeks at a time to decide what works best for you without feeling wasteful of your money/products or getting discouraged if one particular set doesn't seem right. I did this with the Moisture Repair, Hydrating, and Extra Volume sets before finally trying the Repair products and I couldn't be happier. I will add that because my hair is so fine and absorbs water/products so well, I have chosen to only use the restoring hair mask about once or twice a month as it makes my hair feel incredible but adds a little weight to the ends which affects my ability to get added volume without additional teasing.Madeline O.

Love this Argan oil! I haven’t used it in years, but I loved it so much when I used it! It smells amazing as well! It’s a little on the heavy side for me to use as a heat protectant but perfect to add some shine and run a few drops through your hair! If you’re wearing your hair curly snd using this, then only you will need about 7 drops to run through your hair depending on length! I first came into contact with this product when I used Creme of Natures box due to add some color to the ends of my hair and they included a small packet of their intensive conditions treatment as well as this. All I could say was wow! My hair felt amazing and I could manipulate it sooo well for my low porosity, 4c kinky type hair. After using the deep conditioner and rising it out, I would work this into my hair and I wouldnt need a comb or brush to smooth it on. My hair would detangle almost instantly with this on. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. It helps reduce frizz all over and leaves hair looking so healthy and shiny. Again, a little goes a long way, rub between hands well before applying. Definitely test out how much your hair needs because it won't be much. I digress. I let it set a bit before messing with my hair and my curls are so soft and so bouncy after. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav
I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal
Previously, I was using the original Moroccaoil Treatment Hair Oil and was loving that, but decided to give the light version a go since it is labeled specificlsly for thin / fine hair. And wow, I am so glad I did! The first day I used it, I noticed my hair looking visibly nicer! It softens, smooths, hydrates, and helps to smooth frizz. My hair was so soft and looked so shiny. It did not weigh my hair down at all, like a lot of oils can for thin hair. I’ve noticed less breakage at my ends and my hair looks the healthiest it’s ever been. Also, the smell is so good! I apply the smallest amount (smaller than a dime) and rub it between my hands before massaging it into my hair starting at the middle of my strands and working my way down to my ends. I have curly fizzy hair and this keeps it under control without added weight, oil, or making my scalp horrible. I put in first on my hair as soon as I get out of the shower. I like this product. I put a bit of this oil after my hair wash and it nourished my scalp and it didn’t feel dry or flaky. I put a bit into my strands and the only problem I had with this was that you have to be cautious of how much you put because it might make it way too oily looking.nicole.c
I like the Palmer's brand but this product did not work for me. I bought two bottles – one for me and one for my daughter. We both wear our hair natural and was looking for a good product to keep our hair moisturized and healthy. However, It did not moisturize our hair and made us smell like chocolate all the time. It was just greasy and my hair felt coarser after adding the product. I like chocolate, just do not want to smell like it all the time.Groovychanty
It Smells like chocolate. Very interesting. I use it when my hair is wet and then use hair dryer. The hair oil prevent my hair being too dry and also protect my hair from static electronic. Don't use too much oil on your hair. Only few oil can make your hair shinning and smooth.Vicky999
