Wish I could have given this a higher rating. I was so excited to use this product along with the shampoo since they both had good reviews with very little bad ones. So I buy them and use them leaving the hair oil on for the directed time then used the shampoo and other conditioner I have. After washing my hair it still looked really oily like I hadn’t washed it for days. I didn’t think much of it but a day or two after the first use I started getting little bumps on my forehead and side of my face on both sides that were itchy and started getting dandruff. I put aloe on the little bumps that helped with the itchiness, I still didn’t think nothing of it so I use the oil again and used a dandruff shampoo to wash it out but felt the symptoms worsen. That’s when I realized I’m having a bad reaction to the product and washed it out again with a different shampoo and went to get Benadryl. Would have given it zero stars if I could! Have been using this product for a few weeks in hopes of it thickening up my edges. My hair has mostly been in protective styles and wanted to work on strengthening it. I noticed how the back of my neck would burn a bit/ itch after about 5-10 minutes from applying. However, I continued to use it as I thought it may just be my scalp adjusting to the mint and rosemary. Because eventually the burning stopped. I struggled mostly with the nape of my hair from ponytails, so that is where I focused on applying the oil. Over the next few days into week, I noticed the nape of my hair thinning tremendously! This rosemary line, especially this scalp oil, and pumpkin seed oil supplements are what saved my hair and now it’s as thick and healthy as when I was a teenager. The night before a hair wash I will put extra on, work it into the scalp, and sleep with a cap on to let it all soak in. I used to deal with dry scalp and this totally fixed that issue as well. They say oil is a (natural) girl's best friend, well hello Girlfriend!!! I can't say enough about this oil. It delivers on all claims…good for daily use, can be used as hot oil treatment, lightweight and non-greasy, adds long lasting shine, etc. This is a family crowd pleaser from toddlers to adults. I love the smell (sweet without being to overpowering), it gives the hair the right amount of shine without that greasy look, and it penetrates down into the hair (doesn't just sits on top) and a little goes a long way. I particularly love it for my son as we limit the amount of products we use on his hair and skin due to chemicals, etc. His curls are poppin, hydrated and smell delicious. Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. I received this product for free from Influenster and Dr. Berg Haircare in exchange for my honest review of the product. I tried using the product several times, alternating how much of the serum I used each time. I did not like the feeling of the serum in my hair, and it seemed difficult to get wash out. The serum felt very oily and greasy feeling while in my hair and it took several washes to get it out. The instructions say to massage it into your scalp for 10-15 minutes. I’m not sure about others, but there was no way I was going to spend 10-15 minutes massaging it in. I have used other serums and never had to massage it in for that long. I recently had issues with low vitamin D levels which caused my usually thick, long, healthy hair to become lifeless, dry, and caused lots of hair loss so was excited to recieve this product to try. First off I love the smell of rosemary and it smells so fresh in also like that it has vitamins D E which is much needed especially with the issues that I'm dealing with. I've been using this product for around a month or so and noticed my hair is much shinier and been having less hair loss than before. A little bit goes a long way and I usually use this the night before I wash my hair and use a silk bonnet so I don't leave a mess on my pillows. Okay so first off, the directions are a bit of a turn off. Massage it for 10-15 mins on your scalp? That’s a long time. I did maybe 3 and that was enough for me. Next the scent, not my favorite but bearable. The feel, well…. It’s oil so I expected it to feel oily but this coated my skin and I had to wash my hands twice pretty thoroughly and they still felt a bit oily afterwards. Didn’t really sink in, just sits on top. My hair did look nice and shiny the next day and my scalp felt good and I didn’t see any flakes so it did it’s job. Would I repurchase myself? I have used this treatment 5 times so far, and plan to continue using because my hair issues are improving. The difference in the way my hair looks and feels were not dramatic after one use, although my hair felt more manageable after one treatment. I have extremely dry, thin hair, but I have a lot of hair so it appears tho be quit thick. I have always used more topical treatments to add texture, and moisturize my hair. I found it interesting that massaging the scalp with the oil would help with these issues. So following the directions starting from the root/scalp I think is important. The recommended small amount distributed through the hair was definitely not enough oil for the amount of hair I have, although the oil does distribute easily through the hair. There are a few recommendations for using. You can apply 30 minutes before shampoo to dry hair (this is the only recommended treatment I have used), apply and wrap your head with a warm moist towel for 15 minutes before shampoo, or apply and leave in over night (preferred). I think I probably need the latter for best results, but the smell is not good for me. I am not sure why the oil has an antiseptic smell. It's not refreshing, however the smell does not linger, and it washes right out. I read the list of ingredients to try and figure out why it has this smell. I think it must be from the natural oil extracts. My hair definitely appears to have more texture, and it is a lot more manageable. It looks less dry, and healthier. I have dandruff and split ends problem so I purchased this oil. The main thing why I wasn't using any kind of oil was that I go to work everyday and giving oil n leaving overnight used to make my hair oily and with shampoo rinse the oil won't go off. But THIS SHAMPOO IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It also reduced my drandruff after the 1st application itself. PROS: 1. lightweight 2. Doesn't make our face oily too after application 3. Rinse of easily 4. I noticed less dandruff quickly after using this product. It leaves my scalp feeling healthier, and leads to my hair being healthier, shinier, and more lustrous, even though my hair is often colored. My hair is so soft and more vibrant than ever, and so much less frizzy! I have since gone back to my hair stylist to trim off those dead split-ends. The product from this company says it helps with hair loss too, which is what I suffer from now in my mid-30’s, and although I have not used this long enough to be able to tell whether the anti-hair-loss works, I know for a fact that my head feels a lot healthier – so I am very hopeful about the anti-hair-loss in the long run. The texture and smell may be something to get used to for some. I mean, it’s fragrance-free, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t smell like jojoba oil, or tea tree essential oil, or whatever your nose is sensitive to. If you’ve tried other hair oils, the texture is like that: thickish. WOW company’s hair oil really answers a lot of my hair own issues. All the ingredients listed in this hair oil are all essential oils and botanical extracts that are beneficial to the scalp, hair, and hair roots – and it’s cold-pressed AND all natural ingredients! I’m going to stick with this product for a few months to see how it battles my hair loss. I really can’t wait to find out! Even with rogaine, it takes at least a month to notice any differences. I really like the pump, so I can control how much oil you pump out. I don’t mind those disposable single use ones, nor the disposable multi-use larger ones for weekly treatments, but I prefer this. I have long hair, and my spouse has short hair. We both use different amounts, so once again, I have to say – LOVE the pump. To use this, apply it to your clean scalp (if you wash your hair every day anyways, this won’t be a problem, but if you don’t wash your hair for 2+ days, then it’s better to clean your hair first so that your scalp can absorb the oils better). You really want to focus it all over your scalp and not just your hair. So I apply it into my scalp first by gently massaging it in all over, then I comb it down through my hair to spread the oils down through my hair. If I need more for my hair, I apply sparingly and gently comb it through my hair. I prefer to wrap my hair with a damp/moist towel to sort of heat it for the first 15-20 minutes. Then I take the towel off and just leave it in my hair for another 45 minutes minimum (total of 1 hour minimum or so). Some people do it overnight and it does say it’s preferable to do this in the instructions, but I really don’t like to sleep with it in my hair. Shampoo and conditioner your hair as usual.Joanna

Always read the return policy before purchasing. This product arrived in a dirty, stomped on box (the pretty interior box holding the product) and the serum has no safety seal whatsoever. The box is also not sealed. Do you all put this product in your head when there is no product safety seal?! No way for me. Especially since it came in a dirty box. Who knows how adulterated this could be. The return policy says even if dissatisfied as a first time buyer, they will refund LESS the original shipping and you have to ship it back yourself no label provided. Unbelievable. I would contact American Express but I don’t want this company unjustly enriched just because Am Ex is an actual good company. So annoyed to have to deal with this.
I started adding the Activating Serum as part of my hair growth journey in December 2020, after I noticed a dramatic increase in balding in certain areas of my hair. I had just turned 30 and the pandemic had taken its toll on me, as I'm sure it has for many! I have a lot of stress (emotional and otherwise) and my hair was thinning, which aggravated my stress. It became a horrific cycle that I thought wouldn't end. I've been using the shampoo daily and the serum at night for about 3 months now. It does look like my hair line is thicker/fuller. I think it's actually working despite all the tension in my body – which means this must actually work lol I'm eventually going to do PRP and get one of those laser light therapy caps too boost results. But these products do seem to be helping so I will continue. In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

I like the smell (light herbs), ingredients, quality, and overall product I dislike how much the yellow bottle itch but mix it with another oil (ex coconut/castor/Doo gro) and it goes away On wash days. Add to clean scalp after wash massage it in and also add to hair before styling it will stay moisturized for days! I heard about this product through a relative so i had purchased me and my daughter some. we have that thick corse hair. i cut my hair real short and had scalp dryness or whatever. when i start using this product my hair has length. it also makes my hair soft i use it when my hair is tangled up too. its great for detangling your hair. i will be purchasing some more. it feels good that i can actually put my hair in a ponytail. i also have other relatives using the product also. thank you for such a good hair product.CC
Recently I purchased Wild Hair Growth Oil from Amazon and I noticed that this particular oil has been advertised on the back of most magazines claiming that it will grow your hair beyond any length that you could ever imagine. So, I decided to try out the oil for myself. I managed to find a bottle of the oil for under $10. I started a log to see just how long my hair would grow. The first thing I did was try out the oil to see how it would feel on my hair. The first thing that I noticed was that it smelled bad and was really thick. It doesn’t smell great at all and when it is time for you to shampoo your hair, you have to do it more than once to get all of the oil out. The bottle says to apply the oil to the scalp, and that is what I did. I normally don’t put anything on my scalp but my shampoo, but I did to give an accurate review. At first it felt yuck and I had issues with it because I was using too much for my hair. You know how it is, you add that little bit extra hoping that it works that little bit faster. It would take two washes to get all of the oil out of my hair. After a bit of trial and error, I ended up getting the right amount of oil onto my scalp and hair so that my hair wasn’t so yucky in the morning and I only needed to wash it once. You don’t need much of this product in your hair at all. The instructions say apply 5-15 drops but I only used 4 drops. I applied it to my roots and to the end of my hair. I only used it one to two times a week so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. After my experiments of getting the right amount of oil for my hair, after about two weeks there were some minor changes. My hair just felt stronger but softer. Then a couple of weeks after that, so about a month of using the product my hair started growing faster. I’m really happy with the product, it’s inexpensive and it works! Now I have very long, semi thick hair, that's very coarse. I use shampoo and conditioner regularly but sometimes that's not enough to give me the sleek shine I like, or if I need help defining my waves during a blowout, the OGX Morrigan and Argan oil is wjat I turn to. It's got a very pleased scent to it, and you need only about a Nickle sized amount distributed through the hair to get the desired results. I bought a little bottle maybe about a year ago for roughly $7 and it is still more than halfway full with constant use. I love the shine it gives my hair and I love how effective it is. And the smell is so fragrant and nice! It makes me feel like I've just come out of a spa day. You can find this at most retailers and like I mentioned it's normally under $10. I would say it's a great investment for split ends and frizzy hair!emily.p
This product is my now go to after I hop out of the shower. Using it on damp hair before a blow dry leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day. It’s given back my dull hair its shine. My hair is bleached so it always feels dry and damaged, even after styling with other heat protectant sprays, but this hair oil has helped maintain my frizz even days after use. I have been using this after the shower for around 4 weeks and am loving it. I’ve gotten a few close friends using it too now as it’s a cheap alternative to the hair oils from the hair care shops. I use a bit over a 50 cent sized amount and have barely made a dint into the product. The ogx argan oil also has a lovely smell that meshes well with my shampoo and conditioner. I can also extend the period of time between washes which is so great as it takes me so long to wash and style my hair. I usually have to wash my hair every three days as it will start getting dry and gets knotty very easily. I can now get around a week before my hair needs a wash. My hair also has been more durable and I have been experiencing way less breakage as well as loosing less hair throughout the day. It’s also become way more easy to brush my hair in the mornings and I’m experiencing much less tangles, I believe this is because my hair is more nourished and healthy so its getting tangled less then with my dry hair with no product. The only negative thing I have noticed is if my hair isn’t damp enough or if i try and use it after straightening my hair it makes my hair look oily and weighed down, this is more user error then a problem with the oil itself. With the negatives aside I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with bleached hair or thicker hair. This oil claims to be a penetrating oil and I whole heartland agree, I have used many oils on the market and most just leave a layer if oil on top (yes even when I apply with towel dried hair) and some are not at all affordable. I have never tried an oil that makes such a difference on my hair and leaves barely any residue, I use a generous amount and my hair still sucks all the oil up. My hair thrives with oil because of how much heat and bleach I use on it, its given my hair so much shine and smoothness back into it. I am extremely happy with how my hair has turned out. Even after bleaching it Last week, I feel like I was able to go blonder then usually as I have been taking care of it and nurturing it with a few new ogx products. I just received it and I love it already! It made my hair really soft, smooth and shiny! Some people complain this is full of chemicals (silicones) that are bad for the hair. The hair is dead and if you want it smooth and shiny, you need to condition it with things like emollients, and some also act as occlusives to seal everything in (such as silicones and argan oil) and they also act as a protective barrier against things like humidity (bye bye frizzy hair). The only problem with silicones is that some are hard to get out the hair, but if you use an appropriate shampoo once in a while (one with sulfates works very well), you will prevent too much build up from happening. But don’t be scared by it, because it’s that build up that protects you hair and makes it look amazing. It won’t damage your hair in the long term, just make sure to use a silicon free shampoo that clarifies the hair once in a while. So yeah, I loved this product. The only downside is the smell. A lot of people love it and I agree that it’s not bad, it’s very fresh and salon-y. But I don’t like my hair smelling hair products too much. It’s not very strong however, so I’m okay about it. Also, don’t use too much, you will make your hair look greasy. I use 2 pea sized amount on each half, but if you have fine hair, use a lot less.silvia.p

This Elixir has been a game changer for me. As skeptical as I was I'm so glad I gave it a chance. About two years ago my hair completely stopped growing and it was always dry and unmanageable.
