I feel like I'm still somewhat in the testing phase of this product, but honestly it's pretty awesome so far. It definitely gives that Dewy finish. It has the consistency of a thick serum. I was accidentally sent this from Glossier and they told me to keep the product, and I was surprisingly impress by this. The serum immediately makes my skin looks hydrated and healthy. It gives me the classic Instagram glow. What surprises a lot of people is that the texture is on the sticky/tacky side rather than milky. My issue with this is that it doesn't stay all day – it probably lasts ~3-4 hours. I have the Superfruit (I think…I was deciding between the Fruit Fusion and that and the bottle broke so I'm not 100% but pretty sure). Anyway I love this oil. I think it moisturizes really well which some just don't. This whole brand is excellent really. I love the smell (of all of their stuff) but my husband hates it lol. Agree with the reviewer who said to store it in the fridge though, I think I actually got that tip when I looked up the reviews here and it's good I did because I smelled some in the store and realized some weren't as fresh as others, so I got the one that smelled the best. I would love to stock up on a few bottles when there was a sale but I don't think it's the best idea unless you store them all in the fridge. Even then….they do go bad after a time. I can use one bottle quick enough I think but I don't know how 2 or 3 would fare. Packaging could be better. I wouldn't necessarily say glass either because while it's better, it is heavier and can break too. But the plastic broke on me and the disc top also can get clogged, broken or leak too much. I put mine into a jar when it broke and even though the application is more…messy it works fine. And it's in glass now so that's nice. But I definitely recommend these. I just got mine but I'd easily use mine in summer time too since I live in the desert it's very dry pretty much always so oils are always helpful. Update: A year later and mine is still perfectly fine in the fridge, so it does keep it from spoiling. (I have so many lotions I rotate, so that's why I still have this.) I originally was drawn to this oil, as well as the companion body butter cream due to its high quality, all natural ingredients. I use some of Shea Moisture products and they are usually very good but this body oil just isn't right. When I apply the oil to my skin it drinks it up and my skin is still very dry, weird. Shea Moisture Body Oil came in a bottle with no packaging, the bottle has a flip top which is convenient, it's very easy to apply. I guess I didn't like it but wanted to! I honestly can't be objective when it comes to the Neutrogena Body Oil, because I have used this AMAZING body oil for over 30+ years. Seriously, is there anything else to use; especially for women and our Yoni!? Absolutely not, in my opinion! During last years holiday season, the Neutrogena Promo for the 32 oz was scarse in the TRISTATE Area (NY, NJ & CT). OMG! I have very dry skin. Few moisturisers seem to help for more than a few hours. This Body Oil is far more long-lasting than I would have expected – even 48 hours after applying it my skin was still feeling lovely. The drawback is the scent. Unlike other reviewers I found it pervasive and distracting. My husband also did not like it. I will probably keep using this product as it is an unbeatable combination of efficacy and affordability….but I'd love it if Neutrogena could bring out an unscented or differently scented version.Peachtree27
I've been using this oil for years and I always bought it at Walmart. Then I realized that I could get the 32oz for $24 and that I would be so much better off. But not even two months later Neutrogena changed the price to $48, which doesn't even make sense. You could literally buy two 16oz for less. I've contacted customer service to find out why but they didn't know. This was over a year ago and the price hasn't changed. I'm only writing the review now because they've discontinued the sheer lotion which has the same price of $24 for 32oz. I really like this oil. I used to use Bio Oil but this one is far better! It has a delicate scent that lingers. It does keep my skin moisturized and smooth and it helps, specially on winter. It does not make my skin oily. it's my first time trying this oil. I wish they had toiletry samples so I could try different scents. I am probably going to get the plum one again.

While it is an oil, it doesn't leave the skin with an overly oily effect, which is nice. My skin feels moisturized and protected. As I've been enjoying this brand of products for several years, I never thought to read reviews on a new product like this, but I'm really regretting it now. Initially, the lavender smell was pleasant and smelled nice in a hot bath. Little did I know, however, what transferred onto my expensive plush towels would smell more like rancid oil than anything else and I can't seem to get rid of the awful smell. I bought this at ulta for like 5$ as adding oil to bath was a new concept for me. The smell when you unseal the bottle is like you’re standing in a lavender field. The most authentic and natural lavender smell I’ve ever encountered in a product. I love that it has jojoba sweet almond oil as my skin just absorbs it. I’ve used it out of the shower and wow the hydration, the look and feel of my legs, and the waft of lavender is so nice. I had been searching Everywhere for a new moisturizer that was an inexpensive light oil or serum; whose got the $ for trials & damaging errors. Moving from a humid climate to a dry climate wreaked havoc. Both climates I sweat like crazy but after moving, gels & lotions started to sit & feel crusty on my face. Icky! I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to share this because I found another use for this that has results so far above what I expected from a complete experiment. The oils for hair out there are either heavy or have fragrance, which I'm extremely sensitive too. I had a large bottle of this squalane oil for use on my face and body, but decided, what the heck, why not see how it works. I can't believe it. I have long hair that is dyed, and I want to keep it long. Anyone who has been in that position knows the lower half can start to get dried out …. it's hard to hold onto length as you age. But then I tried this, lightly coating my hands and smoothing over the lower portion, from about to my ears down to the ends on wet, just-shampooed hair, and then a light swipe with my hands with the residual oil on the top to help with flyaways. Then I briefly blow dry to seal the hair cuticle. I don't need the comments of people (but it has been nice) to know the nourished, healthy look my hair now has. With no effect on the color at all. I wanted to pass this along. It is so lightweight and fabulous, I use on my face, arms, hands and legs, and now hair! So happy to find this product that feels clean and nourishing. Thank you!Tracy M.

I bought this along with OGX extra strength tea tree mint shampoo, but here is my review. I had recently, over the last few weeks, developed HORRIBLE dandruff. My scalp was itchy, irritated, and flaking everywhere!!! I was annoyed, uncomfortable, and having to constantly check that my dandruff wasn't visible on my dark hair. I tried all the classic dandruff shampoos and none worked for me. NONE. I even asked my doctor for a prescription strength version of selenium sulfide, but the price tag was almost $200 so I did not want to go through with wasting that much money. I did some research on tea tree oil as I've used it for other skin conditions, and turns out it is good on dry, itchy scalp and fights fungus like dandruff. Anyway, in the shower I used my tea tree oil shampoo and scrubbed it with a silicone scrubber and then left it for 10 minutes. After shower, I used the tea tree oil and with just that FIRST USE I had some amazing, instant, long lasting relief. I havent seen any flakes nor have I had any itchiness. I love this stuff.jax

I have mixed black and white hair and I had twists and using this product would soothe the itchiness for about a few minutes but it comes back worse than before. It even made my scalp breakout and burn after a while, worst oil I’ve ever used. I may have an allergic reaction, but I don’t have any known allergies. This is by far one of the most luxuries oils you can use on your skin. I literally call it GREAT SEED oil lol. Looking up all the benefits of this oil is a surprise.
