I have curly 3a/b hair, and use this product in conjunction with SheaMoisture Red Palm & Cocoa Butter Curl Stretch Pudding. I use this spray first on damp hair, and then scrunch with the SheaMoisture pudding. A1 combo, definitely notice a difference when I use both. I used to use Motions light hairdress and it worked just fine and smelled great. This product does the same as the creme but in a fraction of the time. Chi Shine Infusion is my favorite Chi product. I use it on damp and dry hair. I love what it adds to my hair after I straighten it. It tends to appear dry even though it’s amazingly soft. The Shine Spray definitely is the finishing touch. It also does wonders for my nails cuticles. I always wind up getting some on my hands, but I don’t wash it off, I use every bit by massaging it into my nails cuticles. The smell is amazing! However, it is an aerosol can. I absolutely love this brand. Sadly, I currently live in dry desert, SDCA, and my poor DRY hair (and skin for that matter) hates me. I'm from Houston, TX and used CHI for many years due to the humid climate. I was SO excited to try this new product from Amika as I usually love ALL of their products. Unfortunately this one disappointed me. It doesn't have the trademark Amika scent – it smells pretty bad and it leaves my hair oily after just a day. Wish Amika could reformulate this so it's more like the Bumble and Bumble Dry Oil I use. it's so light and you can pre spray your hair with it and use a flatiron – not just a top spray. Since it's not available for return, I guess i'll be selling it online. Sorry Amika – please make it more 'Amika' – and more like the Bumble and Bumble Dry Oil and you'll have a winner!Betsy
i'm not sure what is in this spray that makes it smell the way that it does but it is TERRIBLE. It literally smells like shoe varnish. After the initial smell wears off (right before I started to get a headache) it does add nice shine, but I would spray it on well before I needed to be around other people. it's a shame because I love the signature smell. So far I am loving the shine spray! It leaves my hair glossy & so soft to the touch! It does a great job at keeping my frizz and flyaways at bay as well. It doesn't make my hair feel heavy or greasy at all which i'm so glad about! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I dont love the smell. It isn't the Signature amika scent – it's almost like a cross between a hair spray smell and citrus – which just doesn't smell the greatest to me. Luckily though the smell dissipates quickly in the air – the smell doesnt linger in my hair which i'm glad about. overall I like this product a lot & am glad I purchased it. i've added it to my daily hair routine.Jess J.

This is a very nice oil sheen, with a nice, light fragrance. BUT, Walmart needs to re-think other methods to keep the cap on during shipping because the tape they use to keep the lids from falling off makes it very hard to open the canister AND the sticky residue the tape leaves (if you can even remove it all) is just a mess!!!

This hair sheen does what it says. It adds shine to my hair and keeps it from looking dull and dry. I spritz a bit on and brush it in so it can get to the inner hairs also. The only thing I am not found of is it can be a bit oily and get onto your clothes, sheets etc.Mika323
