I started using a really expensive cosmetic castor oil product to grow fuller eyebrows. I know you are supposed to give a product about 2-3 months to work because of the eyebrow growth cycle, but about a month in I decided to try this product. The other product came with an agitator brush to stimulate brow growth so I use the brush with this product as well. I like the other brand too, but I will switch to this one for eyebrows. The applicator on this product is better than the other brand. I also use this product overnight on my lashes, and my lashes seem plumper under my mascara the next day. When I get dry ends from styling tools, I use a little bit of this product and massage it into the ends. A little goes a long way, and if you use just enough your ends will get soft without being greasy. It is also good for creases/wrinkles, so I use it at night on problem areas for plumper skin in the morning.iHerb Customer

I love this. My daughter's curls are 3a-c. Sometimes when doing my daughter's hair, especially when combing to braid up/or for braids, it can get very dry during the process. A little bit of this oil, not much at all, just a pea sized amount, helped tremendously! I will ALWAYS choose this over unnatural, synthetic, over fake fragranced oils! I had a hair emergency….I was using head and shoulders for awhile for my dandruff and I was experiencing extreme fall out and scalp sores. It just hit me like IM BALDING okay so I had to do something different. I switched to jack black shampoo and conditioner which is great and using this as well. I notice a huge difference in just 2-3 months no more sores and its filling out too you can see tiny hairs just sticking up and it looks crazy but I know its new growth so I am beyond happy. Very happy with the ingredients, texture and smell. I would not advise using this every day prior to styling your hair because it is mostly comprised of oil. It is going to be greasy so what I found effective is applying it with grow gorgeous hair density serum to the scalp. I mix them together and massage my scalp for a minute. Then I take about a nickel size of this oil by itself all the way down thru the rest of the hair brushing from scalp to tip. If you are curly or wavy you obviously can leave out the brushing part and rely on your hands to evenly distribute the product. I put it up in a bun overnight and wash in the morning. I do this twice a week the night before I wash and condition my hair. I do a double wash to ensure I rinse out all the oil. I learned the hard way the first time. I've only been doing this for a couple months but my hair feels and styles nicely afterward so I'll continue on. I have fine stranded medium to thick density hair. I've dreamed of a super thick pony but I'm thankful for having a lot of hair albeit baby fine.Product Lover

This Elixir has been a game changer for me. As skeptical as I was I'm so glad I gave it a chance. About two years ago my hair completely stopped growing and it was always dry and unmanageable. My curls were lifeless and my hair was simply falling apart. I decided to get a half weave sewned into my hair so that I can have some length and add a little life to my dull awful curls. I bought the entire system of CD goddess strength. I’m combination 3c/4a and this is what my hair needed. I give it a 10/10 after one use. Shampoo is not stripping and hydrating af! The conditioner amazing and the leave in is on another level. I bought the oil too and it did not weigh my hair down. I’m going to take progress pics to document my journey. literally never had a problem with flaking or itchy scalp until i used this product, the target by my house ran out of the mielle oil that i usually use so i substituted it for this. worst mistake, i didn’t even have my braids in for a month and just took them out. this product made me break out and had doctors thinking i had psoriasis, but no it was the oil. my scalp was embarrassingly flaky, dry, & it would rash up and burn. i even had hair loss on my hair line, like seriously don’t buy it i’m so upset i wanna cry 🙁Zariah Mcclure

I bought this to help with my daughter's hair, and mine. For my daughter's to help restore oils back to their hair that over working their has taken away. Ballet is wonderful, but has dried and damaged their hair. I try I to find products that help. I have found some wonderful ones, but wanted to give this a try. You do not need much. I directly line their head with the nozzle after was day one, wash day two, to wash day 4. Now I put a bit on my hands and make sure I put some on my finger to massage it on the scalp. Then I pair it with a leave in called Curl Mane-tenace defining curl whip. I recommend it. My oldest daughter's scalp is healthier and my youngest daughter's coil curls are healthier.jannice .w

Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). So, needs a little bit more accuracy in the product labelling: Made from 100% pure peppermint oil, but not 100% in the bottle.Alan

It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. I received this product for free from Influenster and Dr. Berg Haircare in exchange for my honest review of the product. I tried using the product several times, alternating how much of the serum I used each time. I did not like the feeling of the serum in my hair, and it seemed difficult to get wash out. The serum felt very oily and greasy feeling while in my hair and it took several washes to get it out. The instructions say to massage it into your scalp for 10-15 minutes. I’m not sure about others, but there was no way I was going to spend 10-15 minutes massaging it in. I have used other serums and never had to massage it in for that long. I recently had issues with low vitamin D levels which caused my usually thick, long, healthy hair to become lifeless, dry, and caused lots of hair loss so was excited to recieve this product to try. First off I love the smell of rosemary and it smells so fresh in also like that it has vitamins D E which is much needed especially with the issues that I'm dealing with. Okay so first off, the directions are a bit of a turn off. Massage it for 10-15 mins on your scalp? That’s a long time. I did maybe 3 and that was enough for me. Next the scent, not my favorite but bearable. The feel, well…. It’s oil so I expected it to feel oily but this coated my skin and I had to wash my hands twice pretty thoroughly and they still felt a bit oily afterwards. Didn’t really sink in, just sits on top. My hair did look nice and shiny the next day and my scalp felt good and I didn’t see any flakes so it did it’s job. Would I repurchase myself? Shake product until no black flecks at the bottom before using and use sparingly. Although I love making my own oil mixtures to promote healthy scalp and assist with hair growth, I love this oil. The price is awesome and one bottle normally lasts me about a month or two. There is very minimal build up from this product. It makes your hair shine look super healthy when it is applied to your scalp. I think this product is intended ofr afro-hair or braids, but Im a blonde and use this .. I buy products like this to try all the time because while Im a blonde, my hair can also be thinner and gets brittle, damaged (esp the ends) when I color or heat style it .. so Im always picking up a bottle of moroccan or noni oil, or trying some new great-smelling conditioner .. I bought this bottle and didnt use it at first (typical for me, I hav a bunch of products sitting on my bathroom counter) but I tried it the other day and I LOVE IT !! it works FANTASTIC on my hair, especially after I hav blo-dried it .. I put a little dime-sized amount in my hand and work it lightly over my styled, dry hair .. if you look at the ingredients, theres henna in this so it makes your hair SHINE !! like anything .. I will say some commenters love the smell but Im not that crazy about it .. its kind of like an "olive oil" smell, but I condition my hair with other products (awapuhi, schwartkopff pantene, etc) that make it smell great!) but the smell of this alone is "meh" .. however, I really dont care how something smells if it WORKS ! and this really does .. I am surprised at how much I like it .. one time I washed my hair an put a larger amount on my wet hair and it dried with a very "oily" look to it .. just to see I went around like that for day and washed it again and its fine, but you dont need much to really add shine,plus part of my issue is the "fizzes" of high high humidity because I live in South Florida .. I have naturally long thick hair, but I needed to or rather just wanted to strengthen it and have it grow out a little longer because normally it hits one length and breaks off. So I went out to my local store and purchased some Doo Gro Mega Thick Growth Oil and tried it. So far it has grown out and thickened a little bit more than normal plus it has strengthened it as well. I’m on my second week of using this oil. It’s best used as a hot oil treatment for the scalp. I apply it to my scalp during the week in between washes, i always heat it up and massage it in.
