I love this hair oil. Typically hair oils are very oily and they're thick and they make your hair look so greasy and I don't use them often because I really don't like the way my hair looks like grease. I have tried salon brands that promise shiny hair. But they don't deliver what they say. This holy sub lime repair oil is so light and it covers the hair really nice. The hair is left moisturized, shiny, and the hair does not feel like you're putting an oil. It is easy to spread. Also this is used for multiple things. I used it as a pre-poo like it says in the instructions. Then I also used it as I leave in after my shower because my hair is very dry and I have to use a leave-in before I style my hair. I love the way it spreads it's not heavy and I am so impressed on how my hair looked after using this product. I will also be using this as a refresher and if I feel that my hair is too dry I can use it overnight. A tiny bit goes such a long way and two pumps covered half of my head and another two pumps cover the other half of my head and that's because I have a lot of curly hair it's very thick but then at the same time so it's really hard to find leave-in products that work and that keep my hair moisturized because it does get dry pretty quick however I am so impressed with this product. This product truly does what it says it would which it has multiple uses so this is definitely a keeper and it's worth every single penny. I know I am going to be using these products in the future. And I'm also telling all my friends with curly hair and my family with curly hair about these products because these products are super amazing that I'm so impressed about how amazing they are. This is my favorite product in this collection. It hydrated my curly, fine hair without weighing it down, added shine and definition and helped battle the humidity. You can also use it as a scalp conditioner or pre-shampoo treatment as well, multi-use products (that work) are even better in my opinion. I use it regardless if I'm wearing my hair curly or straight, it's that good and it only takes a small amount for amazing results. This serum is suuuuper hydrating and it’s noticeably hydrating basically within minutes! I love that it can transform my hair so easily and effortlessly. But what really impressed me the most was how well it worked on my scalp. I have really bad flakes sometimes, and after using the serum it has given my scalp a 180 because it’s more nourishing than other scalp oils/serums. It doesn’t cause a buildup of any kind either. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! So the oil itself is thick and rich. I definitely felt moisturized when I used it. I got it because I have an area on my head with hair loss…I want to say there are some baby hairs growing. I will say, however, the roasted nature of this product really comes through, I felt like I smelled like a campfire when I applied this product and I wasn't sure that's what I was supposed to smell like?! This is hard to review unless I wait at least a few months. It’s hard to see if it’s helping with hair growth or not. Since I’ve had kids my hair around my forehead and my eyebrows as well has thinned. I’ve been doing research and have tried so many things and decided to give this a try now. I will say it’s thick and sticky. Hard to spread around on my skin because I also read it could help with stretch marks. It’s hard to stay consistent but I hope this does end up working, I would be so thankful. I've been using khadi hair cleanser, castor oil and skin moisturizer for more than an year now and I'm truly impressed by the quality of there products. Sometime, the shampoo makes my hair dry but still its not that hard on hair. Really really natural and thick oil works wonders for skin and hair smell so natural. I received this item as a free gift in my shipment. This product will moisturize hair and skin. I used it on a small patch of psoriasis I have on the back of my head. Put a quarter size amount of castor oil in the palm of my hand and put 2 to 3 drops of Teatree oil, mix it together and apply to scalp. Scaling and flakes went away. I also did this and applied to my feet and then put on some socks for the evening. The bottom of my feet are starting to get smooth. Castor oil is an amazing and generally overlooked item every woman should have. You can use this on your hair, nails, skin, lashes. I know some who use it on stretch marks. It feels amazing on the skin. It's a thicker oil which is nice because it's a lot less messy and easier to control. I use this for hair the most and do a full Indian style oiling the night before I wash and leave it in overnight. It softens hair and I swear it's made mine thicker. This is a very basic product and can ve gotten very cheap at many Asian/Indian shop. Gooseberry oil is great for your hair and scalp, and for the 3-4 dollars you pay it is well worth a go. I have noticed it helps against hair fall and because it's meant to be massaged into the scalp and worked into the ends, it going to be good regardless. Scalp stimulation promotes not only hairgrowth, but it also helps against dandruff. Again: for the cost it's definitely worth a try. I am a heavy tea drinker and enjoy a cigar every now and then, using commercial toothpaste I have not been able to remove the tea stains from my teeth! Since using Dabur toothpaste one year ago, It has removed all stains and discoloration. Leaves breath fresher way longer than commercial toothpaste with all it chemicals and additives. I've been trying a more holistic approach on growing my hair. I used to use almond oil in my hair when I was in high school. And that was when my curls were the thickest and strongest. I tried it again and I use it on my oil days. Because my hair gets super dry. I like taking it and rubbing it into my scalp and leaving it in while my hair is still wet so if it feels like my scalp is absorbing this oil. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. This Elixir has been a game changer for me. As skeptical as I was I'm so glad I gave it a chance. About two years ago my hair completely stopped growing and it was always dry and unmanageable. I really like these products and wish I would have gotten the shampoo and conditioner when they were on sale. In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69

This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

This product is amazing for my skin! I use it on my arms, shoulder, and chest. I love how my skin looks after using it and the smell! But it does nothing for my hair. It doesn't make my hair dry but I don't see any benefits. I've tried using it on my scalp too and it just made it itchy with no benefits. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. It helps reduce frizz all over and leaves hair looking so healthy and shiny. Again, a little goes a long way, rub between hands well before applying. Definitely test out how much your hair needs because it won't be much. I digress. I let it set a bit before messing with my hair and my curls are so soft and so bouncy after. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

I have been using this oil 1X/week overnight for about 3 months and have nothing but wonderful things to say & wonderful results. Since I moved from the west coast to the mid-west in 2014 my scalp has been dry off and on and I haven't been able to get it back into balance. In the short time I have been using this oil, it has basically eliminated any sign of dry scalp and itching, has made my hair really soft and easier to style. I have only used for about few weeks but there is a noticable difference as far softness and fullness is concern. I have use three times the first week on dry hair. Second week went down to twice with once on wet hair. Each time, leaving it on a few hours. I do supplement with the vitamins. But have used collagen prior to this oil with not much difference so I know this change is stemming from the oil, because I doubt the vitamins would show much return after a couple weeks. Smells great and doesnt leave my hair oily or weighed down since I have fine hair. I usually will run shampoo twice during washing though I dont think its neccessary. I have before pics and will show comparison when I see a difference with growth especially around the temple area seems breakage occurs there often. Will buy again. Yes, discount would be great. I have dry hair normally. I use the 1/8th c oil with 1/2 squeezed lime mixed together for my hair soak every 3 days. I have no problem with washing oil out of my hair. My hair is supper soft between oil soak/washing and make my natural hair color shine beautifully!!! Like Ariana says hair care products alone can only do so much! Limiting the amount of sugar and alcohol consumed greatly reduces hair loss! Also not brushing wet hair, or parting your hair or putting your hair up differently helps not damage hair! I love this. My daughter's curls are 3a-c. Sometimes when doing my daughter's hair, especially when combing to braid up/or for braids, it can get very dry during the process. A little bit of this oil, not much at all, just a pea sized amount, helped tremendously! I will ALWAYS choose this over unnatural, synthetic, over fake fragranced oils! There are so many fake, silicone, paraben filled products, parabens are not good for you. I feel confident choosing this. I love this oil so much, I am leaving my other "moisture" brand. Usually when i braid my daughter's hair, she has an itchy scalp before the end of the night, even after using dandruff shampoo and leave in. So far she has had no itching for 24 hours. I suggest while braiding the hair, look for the flakey spots after washing well, then add dime sized amounts to the spot. Me? I added while combing, then added some over the braids. Braids can look dry sometimes, lackluster, and this oil I think would be great for that. I am caucasian, my daughter is biracial, and I have been doing her hair for 13 years. I know good product when I feel it. This is a great oil for braid days when you want to protect the hair and let that oil soak up! You gotta try it. I had a hair emergency….I was using head and shoulders for awhile for my dandruff and I was experiencing extreme fall out and scalp sores. It just hit me like IM BALDING okay so I had to do something different. I switched to jack black shampoo and conditioner which is great and using this as well. I notice a huge difference in just 2-3 months no more sores and its filling out too you can see tiny hairs just sticking up and it looks crazy but I know its new growth so I am beyond happy. Thanks to this stuff im becky with the good hair just not as messy 🤣 I know a part of it was switching shampoos but whenever I know i will be in the house a few days i saturate my scalp and massage it in and leave it for as long as i can and i notice a huge difference my hair is so soft my scalp feels so nourished and it smells AMAZING i love this smellMonica j.

Very happy with the ingredients, texture and smell. I would not advise using this every day prior to styling your hair because it is mostly comprised of oil. It is going to be greasy so what I found effective is applying it with grow gorgeous hair density serum to the scalp. I mix them together and massage my scalp for a minute. Then I take about a nickel size of this oil by itself all the way down thru the rest of the hair brushing from scalp to tip. If you are curly or wavy you obviously can leave out the brushing part and rely on your hands to evenly distribute the product. I put it up in a bun overnight and wash in the morning. I do this twice a week the night before I wash and condition my hair. I do a double wash to ensure I rinse out all the oil. I learned the hard way the first time. I've only been doing this for a couple months but my hair feels and styles nicely afterward so I'll continue on. I have fine stranded medium to thick density hair. I've dreamed of a super thick pony but I'm thankful for having a lot of hair albeit baby fine.Product Lover

I wish Aussie would specify that this product is for African-American, or natural hair that is 3c to 4c in texture. This is an amazing and affordable product for the right hair textures. Unfortunately, there are bad reviews from people with hair textures that this product is not best intended for. I usually look for products for my hair that specify they are intended for African American hair. I somehow stumbled upon this product and I fell in love! It smells great, is inexpensive, and usually easy to find in plenty of retailers. I am a huge fan! I use this product on my wet 4b hair and let it dry naturally for curly wash and wear. I will place this product on my daughters 3c hair while wet and blow dry straight. It is shiny and moisturized without being greasy, flakey or drying.Jajat

COME ON TARGET with the consistently fake reviews given “as part of a promotion” or plucked off of another “influencer” site. DO BETTER. Anyhow -the Frizz Taming Curl Cream by Aussie leaves you hair looking really greasy and weighed down. I’ve started with 2 quarter sized dollops (long, wavy hair) and it looked so dirty. I brought it down to a dime sized amount and that left my hair frizzy and greasy. There really is no application I can find that would be redeeming for this product.todoolittle

I like the curly shampoo and conditioner, they work wonders for me compared to other shampoos/conditioners I’ve tried. A couple of hours after conditioning my hair and going outside my hair is frizzy again, so I tried the frizz taming cream. It seems to help, but for the amount I needed to tame the frizz it made my hair too oily and I lost my curls. I used it with and without damp hair and brush. I also tried the 2nd day activator spray which worked better for me to keep the curls but I had to spray a lot in my hands and apply it, and it didn’t get rid of any frizz.Bacon Cat

This product saved my hair. I was using a shampoo & conditioner previously that completely ruined my hair and gave me severe scalp irritation. I was desperate to find something to treat my itchy scalp and this saved my life. I noticed even after one use that my head wasn’t so itchy or dry. I will use this the night before a wash and lather it on my scalp all over as well as my ends and put my hair in a loose braid. Double washing helps immensely. This product is also great to use after the shower on your ends for extra moisture ! I would recommend this to absolutely everyone if I could. It’s a true life saver . I love you verb!!!!nursebail

Pros: Very thin oil solution that doesnt weigh down my fine hair too much (though id probably do better w the weightless solution verb offers). The smell is practically non-existent. Doesnt make me itchy as a product itself. I love the dropper top. I can use it on my cuticles too! Cons: using it on my scalp made me have to wash twice. This actually ended up drying out my scalp and causing itchy dandruff. If i only washed once after using it, I noticed greasy spots near my ear line all the way around my head (and yes, i pay attention to scrubbing that area all the same when washing- I'm not sure why it's not greasy up top). I've been using this for about a month and I've definitely noticed how soft it's made my hair. I have long, thick, 2B hair and I will put three drops in my hair while wet, two drops to finish styling, and 2 or 3 drops on my dry hair every other day. It doesn't make my hair look greasy at all. I like how it's unscented so it doesn't compete with my other hair products. My only complaint and reason for a star knocked off is that I would prefer if this came in a pump rather than a dropper. I just foresee myself knocking this off the counter and spilling everything.Mandy

Wish I could have given this a higher rating. I was so excited to use this product along with the shampoo since they both had good reviews with very little bad ones. So I buy them and use them leaving the hair oil on for the directed time then used the shampoo and other conditioner I have. After washing my hair it still looked really oily like I hadn’t washed it for days. I didn’t think much of it but a day or two after the first use I started getting little bumps on my forehead and side of my face on both sides that were itchy and started getting dandruff. I put aloe on the little bumps that helped with the itchiness, I still didn’t think nothing of it so I use the oil again and used a dandruff shampoo to wash it out but felt the symptoms worsen. That’s when I realized I’m having a bad reaction to the product and washed it out again with a different shampoo and went to get Benadryl. I looked more at the reviews and seen a few people had the same experience as I did. Still dealing with the symptoms as it just happens last week. Would have given it zero stars if I could! Have been using this product for a few weeks in hopes of it thickening up my edges. My hair has mostly been in protective styles and wanted to work on strengthening it. I noticed how the back of my neck would burn a bit/ itch after about 5-10 minutes from applying. However, I continued to use it as I thought it may just be my scalp adjusting to the mint and rosemary. Because eventually the burning stopped. I struggled mostly with the nape of my hair from ponytails, so that is where I focused on applying the oil. Over the next few days into week, I noticed the nape of my hair thinning tremendously! It has eventually turned into an enlarged baldness area. I also broke out with very painful rash like dry patches along my neck. I am furious!!!! But more so embarrassed and extremely sadden at the damage it has caused. Since this has been the only change to the products I have been using on the last 5 years of being natural. Hoping it can be treated and restored. I also googled this product and see many other costumers have shared very similar experiences of a burning sensation and hair loss. I started experiencing hair loss in 2020 and trust me, I tried EVERYTHING. This rosemary line, especially this scalp oil, and pumpkin seed oil supplements are what saved my hair and now it’s as thick and healthy as when I was a teenager. I don’t find this oil too heavy, and as long as I’m careful with it I can use it without getting my hair super oily. The night before a hair wash I will put extra on, work it into the scalp, and sleep with a cap on to let it all soak in. I used to deal with dry scalp and this totally fixed that issue as well. It’s super hydrating, and feels stimulating and refreshing. I used to use minoxidil but I hated that as soon as I stopped using it for one day the hair would just fall out again! Plus it made my scalp itchy. This is a drug free option that actually works. The shampoo and hair mask from this line are also excellent.Jo

This nourishing hair oil from Sol de Janeiro performs pretty well, and I love that it has the classic scent from their Bum Bum cream! The bottle is beautiful and made of weighted glass, giving it a lux feel. The formula is rich and definitely on the thicker side, but once warming in between my fingers I am able to apply it easily. Just 1-2 pumps is enough to disperse throughout my ends to mid-length without going overboard (I have relatively long hair). I can also confirm that it works to calm frizzies, makes my hair more manageable and gives a nice shine. While it is nourishing to a degree as well, I wish it delivered more moisture into my hair. Adding more doesn’t seem to do much for hydration, while adding too much just makes my hair look greasy and slick as expected. I really enjoy this hair oil, especially the smell! The fragrance is the same as the original fragrance in the rest of the line. The smell is really heavy, but not overwhelming. It does calm down, but you’ll still be able to smell it all day. I have long thick hair with dry ends and rely on oils and and sprays to keep it soft and manageable. Most oils I will use a dime sized portion, but this product comes in a glass bottle with a dispenser that only puts out one drop at a time. The consistency is tick, even sticky, more like a serum than a runny oil. Being so thick, using more than a drop or 2 does leave my hair greasy. It’s well worth the price and I’ll definitely repurchase for the fragrance alone, but it won’t replace my other products that I still need for tangles and frizz. My only real complaint is that a glass bottle and oily hands don’t mix – I’ve dropped it several times and worry it will shatter one of these days. Just be super careful with that and you’ll love it!alexrae

Ok, so I bought this on the app early access day and will give my honest review. I use many different oils as I like to switch up my products every time I wash my hair, including Moroccan oil, olaplex oil, Dae prickly pair oil, ouia oil, gisou and briogeo don’t despair repair hair oil. Compared to all of those, this is by far the thickest oil for sure. I have thick straight hair and a lot of it, so I can get away with a good amount of oil. I am a stay at home mom so I have times where I actually use products to style my hair, and times where I put in more nutrient moisturizing products to just let it sit in a bun. This oil is definitely better distributed on damp hair, on dry hair it’s kind of thick and skips as you run your fingers through but I have to say it smells AMAZING and does have a few unique ingredients which I look for when buying hair care. With that being said this is definitely more of a treatment oil for me that a styling oil and it gives self care vibes with the smell so I give it a 5 star! Would be nice if it was slightly less thick but I’m sure that’s due to the unique ingredients. Sorry for the long review! A God send when it comes to dry hair, scalp, and even skin! Depending on your personal needs is how you measure how much and how often to use this product, from daily use to hot oil treatments or as needed for different dry skin symptoms. I have been using black castor oil all year in 2021. I’ve been trying to think of my hair. Although I have not yet succeeded in fixing my hair, I still like Jamaican black castor oil. This is just one of the few that I have tried this year. The lavender scent makes this product smell way better than plain Jamaican black castor oil. I will be buying the lather sent again, because it smells good. I can wear it in the daytime if it smells good; otherwise, I can only wear it at night.
