Finally found the perfect cleanser for my face and skin type. I've already noticed a huge difference in overall oil reduction, texture, and clogged pores, so I'm pleased. I have combo oily/dry skin on my face, so some areas over produce oil and some areas are drier than a desert. But a couple of things I noticed about this cleanser is it works really well to unclog the oily areas and keep them moisturized a bit. After about 4 days, I did notice the salicylic acid starting to work and my face was flaking off, but that's what it's supposed to do. So I added some Jergens Ultra Healing lotion to my routine and WOW it's effective. The dry parts of my face are moist, the oily parts are moist but not oily. Would recommend.Luftherz
I have been dealing with constant breakouts for years, since middle school, and I’m 22 now. I just started using this face wash in May 2022 and it has been a life saver. Not only did it clear my breakouts but if I do breakout, it’s one or two pimples. Which for me is more than manageable and an improvement. It also has gradually been fading my acne scars as well. I received the CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser for reviewing purposes. I have combination skin nose and chin very oily, forehead is super dry rest of face is normal. I also get hormonal acne. With all that said I find this product actually whole line really great. I have only been using for about 3 weeks so I am just over the purging stage but I am seeing my pores getting smaller also not having as much redness. I switched from a physical exfoliant (scrub) to this chemical exfoliant (benzoyl peroxide). This product is much more gentle on the skin and still leaves my skin feeling soft right away. Over time, I have noticed much less breakouts/acne with this product! No more harsh scrub tearing up my skin, so it looks even more hydrated and glowy! I have combination skin, I get oily in my T-zone and have small patches of eczema around my eyes and mouth. I've used the classic CeraVe foaming cleanser/moisturizer/retinol serum/night cream for years. I did a course of strong meds a year and a half ago and it cleared my skin completely. After full-time mask wearing started up again, my acne came back a bit so I decided to try this cleanser after having such good experiences with all their other products. It cleared my skin after only a few days! But be careful – I developed a painful itchy rash around my lips and mouth that took steroids to clear up because of how much this cleanser irritated that area of my face. I've now cut down use from every morning and night to just once every other morning and I avoid my eyes and mouth with it. Great product! Benzoyl peroxide is perfect for hormonal/cystic acne — the red, inflamed, under the surface kind. I had been using salicylic acid for a while and didn’t understand why my acne was not clearing. Until my dermatologist informed me that SA is better for whitehead & blackhead type of acne (which I did not have). 4% benzoyl peroxide is a great amount if you’re just introducing benzoyl peroxide to the skin. This cleanser is really good. There are lots of comments in regard to the new formula being worse than the old, which has NOT been my experience. ( it’s just a cleanser list of ingredients! ). This gentle foaming cleanser defends against 5 signs of skin barrier, dryness, irritation, roughness, and tightness. It’s not harsh on my skin at all. I massage the product into my ski for 60 seconds then rinse and follow the rest of my daily routine. This product goes on light and smooth and leaves my skin feeling fresh and healthy. I don’t care for the smell though, hence I less the star rating. What I love about this cleanser it is effective, but gentle without stripping or leaving my skin feeling dry. The original formula left my skin feeling dry. I’m so happy they improved the formula with glycerine because my skin feels refreshed and moisturized! First off, I’m an esthetician so I’m a bit of a skin care snob. Things that I do love about this cleanser is that the company reworked the formula and took out the parabens and all of the harmful ingredients that it use to use. The cleanser is definitely gentle and good for sensitive skin. But it doesn’t have any actual active ingredients that would help with acne. So if your expecting it to cure any acne. It won’t. It would be best if used as a pre-cleanse before an active cleanser or if your on a medication that prevents you from using active ingredients. So I NEVER ever write reviews, but I couldn't not for this product – it is INCREDIBLE. I have suffered with bad skin sporadically for about 9 years and I have tried countless cleansers and treatments to stop flare ups but nothing worked – to the point where most days there would be new zits, pimples and scarring. I have been using this cleanser for about 2 weeks and I am so so shocked at how clear my skin is, I genuinely cannot believe it. I have however read that it drys skin out quite badly, so as I suffer from dry skin around my nose area, I have been using it only once daily with an intensely nourishing moisturiser. My skin now feels so soft and looks so glowy! If you have found that nothing works for you I could not recommend this product more, for the price it's worth a try!Megan
This stuff is great! I've been using it for years as recommended by my Dermatologist. Very gentle and effective to not lead to additional breakouts on my sensitive skin. I feel like so many of the bad reviews are people not understanding how products work or how this product works. This product will not work for you if you are mostly dry. And will backfire on you, causing other skin issues and leading you to think it's not working, when really you are using the wrong product for your skin type. This product is pretty gentle. So for those saying they didn't feel "clean" afterwards, it's because you're most likely use to bad products stripping the natural good oils from your face. In LOVE!! My friend is the one who told me about Mario Badescu products, and I’m forever grateful! Keep in mind that the Acne Face Cleaner can and will dry your skin out if you use it too much. I personally use it every other day to every three days. On my days that I don’t use the Acne Face Wash; I use the Glycolic Foaming wash! Absolutely love that one! Makes my skin feel absolutely amazing and clean, I usually use the Enzyme Cleaning Gel that they have right afterwards and it makes my skin tight and AMAZING! Also before bed when I notice I have acne appearing I put a DOT of Drying Lotion on my affected area. MY FAVORITE PRODUCT is the DRYING LOTION… it’s not a lotion don’t let the word confuse you, and make sure NOT TO SHAKE the bottle! Keep the pink sediment on the bottom!! Use a Q-tip or- what I use… chopsticks😂 I cut chopsticks into three’s. I noticed when I use a Q-tip it absorbs too much of the product, and it’s harder to save the rest if you get to much sediment on it. Combination skin with large pores, redness and some sensitivity + menopausal spots! Lovely calming cleanser, used in combination with liquid exfoliant has eliminated the horrible sore lumpy spots I'd been getting in recent years, and my skin has really cleared up overall. As someone who's suffered with spots on and off since I was a teenager, these products have been a top find. I don't find this cleanser drying. This cleanser has to be one of the best cleansers(if not THE best) I have ever tried. Beautiful lather, cleans well, doesn't strip my skin, and seems to lessen the redness in my skin. I've tried so many cleaners and a lot of them leave me skin looking so red, hot, and irritated, but this one does the opposite. My skin feels so clean, fresh, and calm. One thing I will say is that while using this you may need to use an exfoliant maybe once a week or once every two weeks, since this cleanser is gentle and doesn't really contain any exfoliating ingredients like citric acid etc. But to be honest I think that's why my skin likes it, because my skin doesn't need an exfoliating ingredient every day. All in all, has become my absolute favorite. Please never stop making this one. 🙂Shine
Rarely do I get excited about a cleanser because they usually do the same thing. The Paula’s Choice foaming cleanser, however, deserves a special shout-out. Simply put, it’s one of the best cleansers I’ve used. There are 3 key ingredients: – Hyaluronic Acid: helps with hydration – Ceramides: protects skin’s barrier to avoid that tight feeling – Aloe: calms skin What I love about this product: – The texture! The texture starts out as a light cream but as you massage onto your face, it foams up into a nice soft lather. – It effectively removes makeup and sunscreen! No need to double cleanse because this cleanser will dissolve and remove makeup and sunscreen. With my busy lifestyle, constantly on the run, any timesaver is welcome! – Leaves my skin soft and smooth! Immediately after rinsing off, I can feel how smooth and soft it leaves my face. I actually was lucky to be a part of the pop-up event in Dallas Northpark a few weeks ago (simple because I saw everyone being handed free popsicles – !Lol) I wasn't sure what was happening but a very nice rep walked me through the experience and I was sold almost immediately. To preface, I have fair skin that is pretty sensitive and prone to dryness and occasional hormonal acne. My go to cleansers are Dermologica Daily Microfoliant and Vanicream gentle face wash. Decided to add this product to my rotation after dealing with a couple of stubborn hormonal/maskne breakouts and being recommended this brand by a friend. Due to the high % of salicylic acid, i only used it 2-3 times a week. After about a month, I began to suffer from some of the worst breakouts i have EVER experienced in my life on my temples, cheeks and chin which i am just now starting to recover from after 6 weeks. I am very skeptical of all products that claim to help acne because I have never found one that actually worked…. until I met THIS. I have oily skin, and have since I was a teen. Being postpartum, I have had random breakouts that seem to never end. So I have never had a nightly skincare routine and I wanted something VERY simple. I started noticing a lot of pigmentation and redness out of nowhere on my face. This product absolutely changed my skin. I first got it during the winter, and it did dry my skin out. I stopped using it for several months until the summer when my skin was significantly oilier and needed some form of exfoliation. I decided to go back to this and see if it would help my breakouts without irritating my skin. My OH MY!!!!! Within just 2 weeks, my skin transformed. I tried this at first as a spot treatment and continued to breakout but didn't attribute this to the cleanser till I began using it on my whole face the next day. I used this product twice in one day and then felt my skin begin to burn. My skin is more oily and sensitive but this product dried my skin out so much that it feels tight and even flaked in areas, especially above my lips and T-zone. The following day I woke up to a new level of breakout and a red bumpy rash that I'm still trying to get rid of. My face looks and feels as if it were chemically burned! This stuff is holy grail to my face and skin! Nothing ever worked with breakouts I always had to deal with them when I felt them painfully coming in! Not anymore. I bought this stuff and put it aside because I wasn’t fully done with the other face wash. HUGE MISTAKE! For the past three years, I've been using PanOxyl face wash. My physician prescribed this face wash because I was looking for something to help with my acne. I've always had reasonably clear skin, but I've always had oily skin with acne scars. After doing so many sports and sweating so much, I started getting severe acne. I started using the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide face wash on both my face and back, and I noticed a difference in both areas within a week. My acne scars started to diminish, and I saw very few pimples. Because I have incredibly sensitive skin, I was initially hesitant because my dermatologist warned me that it could irritate my skin. I've been using this product twice daily for the past three years, and my skin isn't as acne-prone. I finally feel like I've found a great face wash that makes me confident in my natural skin, which many people can't say.One of the negative aspects of this product is that it can bleach your clothing, towels, and other items, but this can easily be avoided if used cautiously. Another adverse effect of this face cleanser is that it dries out your skin, but I use a little moisturizer to prevent this. Have you tried everything to rid your face and shoulders of acne?! Well my husband has, from Clinique's new acne line to Murad Salicylic acid products and Proactive all with no improvement! Over they years we have spent endless time and $$$ trying to help his skin improve. I am so happy to say we found the holy grail in PanOxyl, while being a bit to harsh for my less oily skin it has worked wonders for his overly oily skin in just a week of use! Being that it has the highest concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide (the ingredient in proactive but has a much higher amount per bottle) you can find without a prescription makes it safe to use unlike the damaging side effects he endured using Acutane at age 19. I have him using a gel or water based moisturizer after to replace some of the moisture it removes plus sunblock as this product can cause skin to be more sensitive to harsh UV rays. It has cleared his adult acne to almost zero in just a week, I can't stress that enough. He is much happier with the results than he ever has and I'm a much happier wife knowing he feels good about his skin (and I can stop hunting for more products)! I really liked this but am soooooooo sad the Acne Solutions cleansing bar soap is gone. I had previously stocked up and had many bars and finally just finished my last one and then bought this as a replacement but it's not the same. I can understand the ease of use factor but the bar soap had such a fluffy lather and it lasted forever. This liquid version does the job but it's super runny and when I squirted it out, way too much product flowed out. And the lather was meh. I don't understand why the bar soap is gone in Canada when it's still available in the US but I can't buy it because Clinique.com doesn't ship to Canada. Overall it worked. I started using this gel when there was a time I ran out of the cleansing foam and this was the only one available. I like this better 'coz a 125ml bottle lasts longer. I transfer it to a much smaller tube for bathroom use to control wastage. I wish it was a bit thicker though so it will last many more months. My only complain is the difficulty squeezing out the remaining product without taking the whole cap off….Gentle yet effective. Does not dry or tighten skin no matter how often I use in a day. I like this cleanser, but I use it as a treatment product. I cleanse with a normal foaming cleanser most of the week and use this every 3 days to keep acne at bay. My skin feels really smooth afterwards. It is watery but they created the bottle so only a small amount is dispersed. It’s actually pretty difficult to find salicylic cleansers with no fragrance so I’ll get this again once it’s through. Personally I wouldn’t ever use this kind of cleanser every day…it’s not necessary IMO. That would be a bit too harsh for most people’s skin.clarinsfan

I was looking for a gentle cleanser to use at night – I've started applying retinol in my night routines – and I found the Aveeno Foaming Clear Complexion cleanser at Kroger's and decided to give it a try. It is oil and soap free and it has salicylic acid and tone correcting soy in its formula. I have oily and acne prone skin, so the salicylic acid helps a lot. The amount of foam that comes through the pump is perfect to wash my entire face. The fragrance is delicate and refreshing. After rinsing it off, my skin feels soft and super clean, something I wasn't expecting, to be honest. I've used another foaming cleanser that didn't make me feel like my skin was 100% clean. One thing that is important to mention is that before the cleanser, I always use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup and sunscreen and I wasn't sure if this one would totally remove what's left of it. Foam cleansers are more drying compared to other forms. The additional salicylic acid (SA) can further irritate dry skin. If you require a potent cleanser, this would be it. But it can have very negative effects if the formula doesn’t agree with your skin. I have combination skin and periodic cases of acne. One time, I had varying types of stubborn facial acne, so my dermatologist recommended to start with this cleanser. I used it every night, then used a light moisturizer. I also wore/wear SPF 50+ sunscreen regularly. The first few days, my skin flaked a little, but that was normal when trying a new acne cleanser. But after a week, my skin was red and peeling, and blisters suddenly formed on my chin. I went a few weeks without washing my face entirely, due to the pain. I opted to use a gentle face wipe, as well as slathering heavy moisturizers and Vaseline all day. I had not used any type of acne products in months prior, so I do not suspect any residual reactions. I had tried many products with SA in the past, including the Neutrogena SA cleanser in both gel and liquid form. There is always some irritation, especially when my skin is adjusting to a new product, but it was never so severe. (I only use acne-focused cleansers as necessary, and prefer hydrating cleansers that are eye-safe). Personally, I suspect that the combination of foam cleanser+SA was too drying for my combo skin. Even with oily skin, I do not recommend using this on a daily basis. And when you do use such a drying product, always pair with a good moisturizer and excellent sun protection! (It will also help you realize if the cleanser itself is to blame for any reactions, instead of sun damage or dry skin). 3 stars because the negative reactions were so harsh, but I was still able to use the rest of the bottle for my body acne, and it was surprisingly effective and non-irritating. A very risky trial-and-error.
I have been struggling with acne on and off and even more recently during the pandemic maybe because of the masks. I normally don't have makeup on when I use a mask but if I do it's just for a brief few minutes. I have been getting a lot of acne on my jaws, cheeks and temples, even on my forehead now. This was my go to for quite some time. The charcoal works so well to clear up any acne or pimples and to prevent them. It’s not harsh or over drying. My skin is on the sensitive side and can get dried out rally easily. The bottle and pump is one kid those small but great features that often gets overlooked. It cuts out this little bit of time and frustration that may have made you reach your limit. Just a simple little minor thing that helps start your day off on the right foot. I have used the product two times a week for the last month. It is not drying and is gentle. It helped reduce dark spots. However, the product gave me cystic acne (deep pimples that are painful) because it cleans deep. In addition, my skin began to peel. It was not painful. I'm an esthetician that works at massage envy and we carry pca skin products , this and the facial wash are my favorite cleansers , I have combination skin so I use both as a double cleanser and my skin is so clear and soft and I'm left with the most beautiful glow . Also I always recommend this cleaner for rosacea or irritated skin , anytime a client comes in with redness , irritation or overexfoliated skin I ALWAYS recommend it and the results are absolutely amazing everytime , this cleanser with the rebalance moisturizer completely heal the skin in less than a month without breaking out the skin. Though this cleanser is good, I feel it’s still too harsh to use after a peel. I 100% prefer to creamy cleanser to the facial wash for post-peel care. It isn’t as harsh as the Facial Wash Oily/Problem, but I don’t see this as a suitable cleanser after such an abrasive service. As one who has problematic acne here and there, Differin Daily Deep Cleanser has helped me! It contains Benzoyl Peroxide and is oil-absorbing indeed! If you’re like me, however I wouldn’t recommend combining Differin with other products in your daily routine. Although this product is good for those with sensitive skin, it can severely dry out your face if you over use it or combine it with other ingredients, again as part of your daily routine. I wish this cleanser had a more pleasant scent, because although it does clean it does not feel refreshing or pleasing to the nose. I believe the gel also has helped me in more ways for pimples, it quickly dries them out and reduces redness.michelle.e
wow wow wow! my oily/sensative skin loves this! I typically use Korean skincare products in my routine, but decided to try this cleanser out because I wasnt sure when my next international order would be. Glad I tried it! I used Paula's Choice BHA Chemical exfoliant once a week for 1 year.. although I did notice a difference as my face felt cleaner the next morning, I didnt notice that my blackheads were dissolving or noticeable progress after long-time use. I decided to try this Differin cleanser also because it has Benzoyal Peroxide in it, and I tend to break out with whitehead around my nose quite often.. probably due to my oily skin and sebum production in that area. and WOW! I used this cleanser in the AM this past 3 days and the blackheads on my nose and cheek area are almost complete gone! I absolutely love this cleanser, I use it every single night for my night time regime. I got it for $15.99 from ultra's website but you can buy it on the brand's site for a dollar less. I would not recommend using this if you have cystic acne. I had really bad and inflamed acne for a while and using this cleanser alone didn't do enough for me. I did not have cystic acne either. Salicylic acid is a betahydroxy acid (BHA) and is the main ingredient in this cleanser. This is definitely effective but not using it by itself. If your acne is not so severe you could probably use it alone and it will clear up but in my own experiences I had to get on a prescribed astringent medication given by my doctor. Using that along with the effacer cleanser has slowly been able to fight off my acne. Overall this cleanser is pretty amazing and is a great tool in controlling my acne. I love it and it is pretty affordable, you can't beat it!jillian.g
to keep it short i have sensitive, acne prone, dry skin. my acne was mild/ medium. i had issues with hormonal/ cystic acne that just always kept coming back no matter what. i tried this cleanser and yes my skin felt super clean, but then i noticed breakouts. i did some research and soon found out my skin was purging (i had no idea what that meant). people are not educated enough about skin purging and it is actually a good thing because it really cleanses out your pores and pushes all the dirt to the surface (causing texture, white heads and blackheads) but it gets better. it's just a whole process of really cleansing your pores and you have to be patient. i would advise you really do your research on breakouts vs skin purging when trying a new product with an active ingredient. i do really love this cleanser though, but I would've hated it if i wasn't educated on what skin purging is because id think this product is just causing breakouts.victoria
I love and adore this product If you are like me and have some sort of combination acne like, cystic but also fungal but you don't know what to do or have tried everything? This product is for you!! It took about five days of regular routine of this project as well as their other two (which I will mention) to clear my skin, this is perfect for sensitive skin like mine and combination skin as well. I start off by using this cleanser, i foam it up a dime size amount in my hands and then I wash my face and under my chin/neck, I rinse off and repeat again just to really cleanse my skin. Then I dry my skin lightly and I go in with their step two toner, I take a cotton pad with a little amount and brush it all over my flared up areas. After I use their step three benzol peroxide and lightly glaze some of the cream over my entire face(NOT EYES) This is just my nightly routine, in the morning I just wash my face with the cleanser or else it is too drying . This product also lightened my acne scarring, please try this routine and keep up with it for at least a week and I promise there will be a difference in your skin. I use to have a lot of Comedonal acne but after 4-5 days of use, it considerably reduced. The salicylic acid gentle cleanser is perfect for this acne type. I tried so many other products to get rid of this type of acne but did not work. I also visited cosmetologist/ dermatologist but they only prescribed me products for normal acne. I found my skin too dry and sensitive for this foam. After usege, the face becomes cleaner, but extremly dry. Additionaly, since the foam has salicylic acid, it does not go well with creams that have some acids or atypical components. Because of this my skin starts to redden and as a result I had to wash off what I put on my face. But I was able to somehow combine it all and so now everything is fine. Also, after two weeks of use, the skin got a little better and removed some problem areas, but could not cope with my chin – so I will change the foam. So I do not recommend for people with skin type like mine. Instead, my friend who has oily skin, this product is perfect – so it depends.
I've tried many salicylic acid cleansers in the past (hello, teenager years and acne), and most of them have left my skin feeling tight and dry. Not this one. It's so gentle you can use it during the morning and night. I put literally a teeny, tiny dollop, the size of a quarter of your pinky fingernail and it foams soooo much on your face. Granted, I use this on my Foreo Luna cleanser brush and the bubbles and foam is tight and small, but creamy. When I wash it off, my skin feels clean but still moisturized. Would buy this again!!

Recently, I have noticed I've been experiencing a lot of skin congestion and breakouts especially in my chin area. I recently came off of a strict diet so I attribute these skin issues due to that. I have a few Murad products that I alternate into my routine and being that I've only had positive results with the line, I ultimately chose this cleanser to combat said issues. I love that you do not need much of this gel cleanser to thoroughly clean your face. A little truly goes a long way. You do immediately get a tingling/cooling sensation when using this cleanser but I have not found it to irritate my sensitive skin at all. No adverse reactions whatsoever. My skin absolutely did purge after use in the beginning. It seemed like I was waking up to a new breakout every morning, however, about two weeks into using this every morning, my skin not only cleared up but this helped clear out the skin congestion. VALUE SIZE PUMP IS A NO GO. I’ve been married to this cleanser for years and don’t think I’ll ever switch. It’s made an incredible difference in my skin from blackhead to whiteheads and everything in between. Controls oil but doesn’t dry. Particularly effective with a Foreo – immediate extra texture improvement without damage. Kind of pricey but last a long time and worth the results. Also love that you can buy minis for travel (and they’ll last you far longer than the duration of your trip). However after initially being excited to find the new value size with a pump, i won’t be buying it again. The price difference isn’t worth the frustration of the pump working ineffectively and having to wait for it to eventually pop back up or pull up on it so that i can get another pump. My favorite cleanser for acne/breakouts! This is sooo good. I’ve tried so many cleansers and none of them have gave me the results like this cleanser has gave me. I visibly see the difference the day after using this. It flattens all my breakouts and helps them not appear as large. First off, I have medium skin color, and combination skin type. I rarely suffer from breakouts and this time around I had a bad one so I decided to try different facial cleanser that were specific from acne. I came across Versed and decided to try after good reviews on YouTube and of course their website. All I can say is WOW! I have only used it a little over a week and my results are phenomenal! At first i was a little nervous for it because it was making my breakout area really try but I was constantly putting on moisturizer throughout the day, along with toner and night serum daily. As a beauty content creator, educator, and skincare/wellness expert that have battled with acne and blemishes for most of my life, I have tried every remedy for pores, and even made homemade facial products. I tried prescription and Proactiv+, too. However, the Proactiv+ products worked the best for clearing up my skin the best as it had salicylic acid started to over dry my skin making it peel due to the cleanser and cream having benzoyl peroxide. So, I had to stop using it and it was getting pricey, too! However, my skin is not that covered with pores but having an oily T-zone, and wear masks, I still get those pesky bumps. Recently, one popped out of nowhere on my jawline, so this product couldn’t have arrived at the perfect timing. I wash with it right when I get up in the morning and night. Also, it works great as a spot treatment, too! As I was having a few breakouts, after cleaning, serum, moisturizer, I will put a few daps of the product for an overnight treatment, and I wake up with the pores less red and inflamed. I like the creamy blue texture (thanks to the blue tansy) and there is no harsh scent, like most acne treatment cleanser has that medicine smell. It is gentle on my skin with the non-stripping, yet powerful 1.5% salicylic acid to unclog my pores while leaving my skin feeling deeply cleanse and smooth. This cleanser has a gel like consistency, it is cooling when you apply. I have used it as a mask and a cleanser. I have used it for several weeks and haven't noticed a difference in skin improvement. My skin also didn't feel clean after using this. I have used this on my bare skin and when I have make up on. If washing off make up, I feel that you should still double cleanse. I read reviews about how this product hasn't worked on dark spots or discoloration. I know this product contains niacinamide, however it is a rinse off. It may be worth trying a niacinamide serum. It did slightly dry out my skin, I have pretty dry skin. I always recommend for people to try it out because it might just work for you.Missingcoffee
I LOVE this cleanser. I like gel cleansers that feel smooth and gentle, don’t strip my skin, don’t leave behind a filmy feeling, but leave my skin soft, and this is the perfect one for me. I use it on wet skin (you can use it dry but I don’t like the feel) first thing every morning and as a second cleanser at night after removing my makeup. It very lightly emulsifies but feels so silky, and I always leave it on for a few minutes before washing it off like a quick mask (even recommended on the bottle), and my face is so soft, smooth and brightened! I even feel like my toner, serum and moisturizer absorb better and my face stays smooth all day. Everyone’s skin is different, but for mine I can’t find anything I’d want to improve.Megan
I was so excited for this brand, and this cleanser in particular, to launch in the UK and it didn't disappoint! I think it's a great morning/second cleanse. It's super gentle but effective and lathers up nicely. Normally products that foam up irritate my skin and leave my face feeling dry, but this is nice and hydrating. The pump is great and the bottle is a decent size too! I love the texture, it feels quite luxurious considering it's a more reasonably priced cleanser. I've been using this every day for 2 months and can say it keeps my pores clean and fresh feeling. I haven't noticed a difference in the brightness of my skin and the scent is awful. If I had to describe, it smells like old car engine mixed with menthol. Some would probably say it smells like eucalyptus (a family member thought it smelled like this) but I think it's far from it. Maybe I just received a bad bottle or my senses are off. I can tolerate the scent which is why I continued to use it, I don't want to waste it. I'm not sure if I will purchase again. I am astonished at the transformation my skin has shown with this high quality cleanser! This little gem came in a bundle that I purchased to try out different products. I recommend folks to purchase bundles to get the vast array of products that they offer. I have very dry skin that coincides with the side effect of a skin disorder that I have. A lot of facial cleansers I am allergic to or have reactions to. So I was wary of this, but I gave it a try. I was thrilled that I didn't have a reaction or a breakout from using it. But the best surprise was how soft and clean my skin was. I have been using it since about a year ago. I totally love their face wash products. I have tried three different ones and they all work wonders in my face. As soon as I get pimples in my face I use this wash twice daily and literally those pimples go away without leaving marks in my face!! I was really impressed as to how clean and and hydrated my face felt after I washed my face with the Apple cider vinegar facial wash.
