Okay so I’ve had Acne for i’d say 5-6 years (teen years) and the main mistake i’ve done is not doing research and picking up random drug store items to treat acne. I’ve done a lot of research this time and am trying this in my new skin care routine. This is the holy grail of all the skincare products I've tried and I hope this product never gets discontinued!! If I wanted to be sponsored for one product and one product only, it would be this one 100%!! I have an acne-prone, combo skin type (right now it's fairly dry due to the weather) and this product works wonders!! I not only feel the difference in my skin, I can see the difference. My face feels tighter and was 10x smoother after the first two applications. After using this (alternating with my lactic acid serum) for about two weeks the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks have lightened/looks smaller and I am not as prone to breakouts. Even during my time of the month, my breakouts were super small and minimal, and it went away in a couple days without any spot treatments. I wish I had before and after pictures. This product just balances my skin perfectly and I'd say it's definitely worth the price. Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I'm 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable. I received this as a sample in the mail since I had not ordered anything recently. Even though it was only one application, I used it "just to see" if the description was accurate. It was! I liked the sample so much I immediately ordered it and, in fact, am re-ordering tonight. I have been doing peels for at least 12 years. Sometimes I do "light" peels, sometimes heavier peels. Depends on how much visible peeling I want to deal with. I don't, however, do them during the summer. I don't spend much time in the sun, but never know when I will be outside for several hours in someone's pool. I purchased these to use for the summer but have decided to continue using them long term. It is a very easy, simple application — much less work than a regular peel. I'm a Registered nurse. wearing a face mask all day causes breakouts. Using this every 2 days has helped significantly. Be sure to rid of any peach fuzz on your face before use or you will have a hard time getting the product off your face. I received my sample late so I didn't get to give it a full 2 week trial. I used it a total of 4-5 times over the course of a week and a half. The first time it was hard to tell any difference. There was no tingling or redness during/after. Now that I've tried it a few more times I can tell that my skin is definitely smoother. I have been recovering from some pretty extreme postpartum/ breastfeeding hormonal acne and while this hasn't been a silver bullet in the short time I've used it I'm excited for the effect it will have on the scarring from so many months of acne. This liquid is a little difficult to get out of the dropper, but that means you don't have to worry about it dropping somewhere you don't want it. It goes on smoothly and after 5 minutes wipes off with a damp cloth. I think that if used correctly and worked into a solid skincare routine gradually it will be a holy grail product. And while I got this as a sample in exchange for this review I looked up the price and it seemed totally reasonable for this product. If my skin continues to agree with it I would definitely buy another bottle after this one is through, although that probably won't be for awhile since it seems like it will last a long time.
I love getting a facial / skin peel in the salon, but over the last year have been looking for alternatives to try and keep my skin looking glow. I absolutely love the packaging of this, it looks great in my bathroom and the pipette makes it super easy to use. You need a small amount, as a little goes a long way with this fab formula. I really like that this product is unscented as I am often concerned about fragrance in my skincare products! When I first applied it I could feel a little tingling where I had a few blemishes, but it was nothing uncomfortable and after a minute the sensation stopped! I love that this is a wash off treatment and noticed by skin looked instantly brighter and felt super smooth / soft. After just a few uses my redness and blemishes have reduced, my skin looks more even and my makeup is applying better! I will definitely continue to use this! I do love acids in my skincare, it took me a while to overcome my fears but now I wouldn’t be without them. I do use a stronger solution from another brand once a week but thought this looked quite potent. I tend to use a 5% glycolic lotion every other night three times a week so I just swopped that routine for this product which has 15% glycolic acid and it worked really well! The pipette does not really suck up the gel tbh so I just tipped a small amount in my palm and smoothed a thin layer over my face, neck and the backs of my hands. There’s no noticeable smell and I only experienced a very slight tingle for about a minute, no stinging and just slight redness on my cheeks. So after I washed it off my skin honestly felt like silk and the back of my hands looked less crepey and after a week of use my skin felt so smooth and looked super fresh too. I always follow up with a non fragranced very plain moisturiser or oil and on in between nights I use a retinol cream and my skin looks quite hydrated with no irritation or peeling either. The instructions are quite clear not to use it with retinol products at the same time and also to use sunscreen whilst your using it so no excuses! All in all a really effective product not too expensive either and they don’t test on animals. No7 containers don’t carry a cruelty free logo but I’ve checked online and they say no they don’t, they are cruelty free!MissBetty

Skin type: In between oily and normal (naturally), normal when consistently using retionid gels (Tretinoin gel, Adapalene gel) My brown skin is prone to dyspigmentation from inflammation, acne, injury and sunlight exposure. It’s not prone to hyperpigmentation from products tho (except in very rare cases) It also sometimes gets duller looking than usual in the winter. This stuff is a dream. Greatest ADJUNCTIVE OTC product I’ve ever used for lightening darkened skin, instantly giving me a brighter complexion, making my warm/golden undertones pop (more vivid color) and maintaining the flawless even tone I was chasing. Using this all over my face along with hydroquinone (2%-4%) cream as a spot treatment this will quickly fade the darkened spots/sections. If you use other chemical (acid, enzyme) exfoliants and/or strong retinoids (tret, taz, adapalene) you’ll probably get velvety skin that’s smoother and softer the touch. It also gets more supple and bouncy even though I’m still in my 20s and thus have a lot of bounce & smoothness to my skin already. I have been using a stabilized, ph <3, properly packaged ascorbic acid serum for years. It’s my holy grail for brightening but since my skin is resilient I can put it on after using this. These two products are the DREAM TEAM for giving my face the radiance I’ve always wanted I use this on my face for up to 20 minutes (my own dermatologist said this was fine for me considering how my skin reacts to stronger in office chemical peels) and for 7-10 minutes on my neck. When I go over the ten minute recommendation & use it for 15+ minutes on my face I get enhanced results. No irritation, no adverse effects, instant gratification and long term gratification. So I'm 34 and have had adult acne for 10 years. A few months ago I finally discovered my perfect routine and I thought I'd share it with anyone who might resonate. I realized I can't layer products and my skin needs more simplicity. That's when everything cleared. It involves some OT products one of them being this amazing AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peel but some are not. Here it is: PM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne prone skin/scars : 1)Wash face with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (rinse off with warm water and washcloth) 2)Wipe off any remaining makeup with a cotton pad + Bioderma Sensibio micellar water . It helps prevent damage by harsh tap water. 3)Moisturise with The Ordinary pure Rosehip oil. *3 times a week (instead of Rosehip Oil ) use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid+HA (Moisturises while gently exfoliating over time). Once every 2 weeks: The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling mask for 10mins. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE for dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin/scars 1) Wrap an Ice cube in thin cloth (like gauze) and massage your face with it for 1 min (then towel dry) 2) Wipe face with Bioderma Sensibio micellar water + a cotton pad 2) Five mins Face lifting massage with The Ordinary Rosehip oil. I ordered my second bottle of this mask back in May, and just finished the bottle now. I've been using this as a weekly exfoliating mask, but it is not my favorite one I have ever used. It is at a pretty good price point – and I first bought this as a way to start exfoliating at home instead of just when I had the time for a facial (it was recommended to me by a friend with similar skin: sensitive, with rosacea). After finishing my first bottle; I then tried the Sunday Riley good genes (used as a rinse off 10-min mask) and PTR pumpkin enzyme exfoliating mask. I then bought this again to compare and contrast. As far as price; it is obviously the cheapest and a great option for someone on a budget. As far as how well it works; I first got this because at the time I had just cleared up a few months worth of hormonal acne (I am not acne prone, this was my first bout with acne and I did not know how to care for it, so I was left with quite a bit of PIH). I read about how the use of exfoliating can be helpful for healing PIH. In all honesty, out of the three exfoliant masks I've used, this has faded my acne scars the most – but – it triggers my rosacea – whereas the SR and PTR I could use on my whole face without causing my rosacea to go nuts. So, I started only using this on my chin and jaw, but it would still manage to affect the rosacea patches on my cheeks and part of my neck. Since I have faded my acne scars to the point that I want to stop using an 'intense' mask 1-2x's a week, I don't have plans to purchase this again – as it did what I needed it to do. If you want to fade acne scars- I definitely recommend this product (but definitely include the use of sunscreen in the morning) but – if you have rosacea, be wary because every time I used it – I had a reaction. (I just purchased GR watermelon overnight mask with AHA's to see how that will help with fading remaining bits of PIH without triggering my rosacea)hasmm

Most peels sold on Ebay don't come with everything you need to do it at home and feel like a spa. This kit came with a peel prep to prep the skin, the glycolic acid, a neutralizer to stop the acid from penetrating the skin and then a hyaluronic serum to help heal and sooth the skin afterwards. I have combination skin and glycolic was recommended to me to reduce pores and fine lines and since this peel only had my skin light flaking and not huge peeling pieces I've repeated it every 2-3 weeks. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin and I notice such a difference I find myself leaving the house without any makeup on! Love it and will definitely buy again, the only downfall is I used the serum all up since it can be applied multiple times daily so I need to buy some extras.chekitowt954

this mandelic acid for chemical peel makes the biggest difference for me here. A friend of mine was using it and let me try. I am using it to address my whiteheads and larger pores. I never had many blackheads in the first place. I believe whiteheads turn to black ones. The peel slowly cleaned my whiteheads but I did not want to use it too strong. This is an effective product. I began to see a slothing after several days. I used a cotton gauze, applied thin layer horizontally across face and then vertically waited approximately 1-2 minutes and rinsed with cold water. I followed with Hydraulic acid. I by no means have the best consistant skin care regimen but I did make sure I used the Hydraulic serum twice a day sometimes I would use an additional night cream with it. Please be careful I did give myself small chemical burns, 1 was where a zit wasn't healed enough apparently and just another small spot on my chin for no apparent reason so I guess just a sensitive area. It didn't hurt just had another ugly spot until healed. So yes this is strong and effective, I like the result of lighter look to my age spot/ unevenness so far and skin is brighter already. This is actually the second bottle of the stuff that I have purchase. That is how much I love the stuff I actually bought a second bottle. When I first got it it took me awhile to use it. I was a bit intimidated at first because of the instructions and I had never done or used any kind of chemical peel before. So fast forward to about two weeks after I get the first bottle. To me sitting at my vanity with a bowl of baking soda and water, a timer, and my bottle of Divine Alpha hydroxy acid skin Rejuvenation therapy. I reread the instructions just to make sure that I don't do anything I shouldn't do and I decide I'm going to test a very small area on the bottom of my jaw. I dab a little bit on and wait two minutes. I'm not feeling any pain so I went one more minute. Then I wipe it off with plain water. I decided to wait about half an hour before I made a decision. About a half an hour later, since I did not have any discomfort, I decided to test a little bit larger of an area. I applied about a 50-cent piece size on my cheek and jaw. I waited 3 minutes and wiped it off with plain water. I did not experience any discomfort or any burning sensation so I decided I would do my whole face and neck. The results were RIDICULOUS! It made my face look softer, cleaner, brighter!I wondered why I was so worried LOL. No seriously the instructions are scary, and I definitely recommend that you read all the instructions twice and follow them closely to make sure you do everything right. It's the perfect exfoliating mask to add to my existing skincare routine especially now that Fall is here. Our skin takes quite a beating with the harsh environmental elements of cold and dry weather that it's good idea to exfoliate one to two times a week just to help our skincare products absorb better so that they can help protect our skin barrier. Exfoliating helps with sloughing off dead skin cells, revealing new skin underneath, along with unclogging pores. This product contains alpha hydroxy acids (organic green apples), beta hydroxy acid (willow bark), Bakuchiol (Retin A "like"), and antioxidant-rich grapeseed to help fight free radicals and help the skin look its best. It's also supposed to help even out skin tone, texture, and discolouration. Plus, containing vitamins C & E that help with minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Just apply a thin layer and leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse well. However, on my first application, I only left it on for 5 minutes since I didn't know how this product would react to my skin. I have used many different chemical exfoliators and peels before but this one is meant to give the experience of a facial peel at the spa so it's much stronger then others. The product comes in a sturdy glass tub making it easy to scoop the peel out (I recommend using a spatula or scoop to get it out). The peel looks a bit like honey or syrup but has a more gel like texture to it that isn't sticky and spreads easily. It has a scent that is kind of like fermented apples which some people may not like but I didn't really notice it. I used this in the evening as recommended. You apply the peel to your face and leave it on for up to 10 mins. It does warn in the instructions that flushing and tingling is normal and it's definitely a reaction that my skin had to it. It took a few minutes for it to happen but I could really feel the tingle and feel the burning up of my skin. Once I washed it off my skin was still very red and I could feel the heat coming off it. Because of these reactions I would definitely recommend a patch test especially for sensitive skin so you can judge whether this product is for you. I applied a hydrating wash off mask after the peel and it really did wonders at reducing the redness and calming my skin down so I would highly encourage anyone using this peel to follow up with that type of product. After using it my skin felt smoother so I will keep using it but no more than once a week as it is a very strong product.keppers87
As a fan of strong peeling masks, I was super excited to try a GREEN APPLE Peel Full Strength Exfoliating Mask from Juice Beauty. I already have their Grape serum which I absolutely love, so I had pretty high expectations! To begin with, the packaging feels nice, heavy and expensive. Love the colour story! Silver with lime green is refreshing. The next thing which impressed me was the smell. It's sooo yummy and delicious, like a super sweet apple jam. The texture is similar to jam as well, not too thick and not too watery, so the application was smooth and pleasant. So, you apply it, leave for 10 minutes and then…it starts to burn. Like, you really see how your skin gradually flushes. Is it uncomfortable / hard to take? Not at all, but you definitely shouldn't do this before going out 🙂 Not for the faint-hearted, I added the second pic to show how my face looked right after. Love the natura bissé peel mask, it really works instantly, after cleansing I put this gel peel on for around 15mins then use a sponge to remove, straight after I use my usual Toner, serum and face cream or oil. Don't be scared off by the words "extreme peel". You won't burn your face with this gentle yet effective peel. Before reading about it and trying a sample, I was afraid it would be too much for my mature skin. However, it self-neutralizes, so it won't burn you. I have loved this mask for the last 2 years. It leaves my skin so soft and helps stop breakouts in its tracks. That being said, this most recent repackaging also came with an unannounced reformulation – the addition of Fragrance/Parfum, which is so unnecessary in skincare products. Especially this one which already smelled great. Many like myself look to “clean” brands that don’t use ingredients like Fragrance in their products – so to see naturopathica going this direction, and changing their ingredients WITHOUT putting any sort of disclaimer so consumers can do their due diligence, is disappointing. I’m unsure if I’ll be reordering this from here on out, which sucks because this mask is previously fantastic. Fragrance has zero benefit to your skin – besides containing potentially harmful ingredients with zero transparency, it can also be irritating to sensitive skin types like myself. I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes. I’m not a stranger to chemical exfoliation; AHA, BHA, and retinol are regular parts of my skincare regimen. I also typically use a higher percentage AHA treatment once every week or so. All of this is say: I thought this would like one of those. I was wrong. The application itself is not very beginner-friendly, as the product has a very intense alcohol scent. I found myself coughing each time I inhaled during application. It’s also very uncomfortable, but luckily that feeling subsides after the first minute or so. Immediately afterwards, my skin feels tighter and drier (and my skin is already fairly dry.) The days following, my skin peels and flakes off, not unlike the first time I tried retinol. However, about six days after the peel, my skin is noticeably nicer. The texture smooths out considerably and my forehead looks almost glassy. It’s quite nice. Of course, I stop all other exfoliation three days before and after, stay hydrated and moisturized, and wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. I’m very pleased with this peel, but I’m not sure if I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t already used to chemical exfoliation; the scent, the discomfort, and the peeling for days afterwards could deter someone less experienced.jessica.c
This has help clear my skin well. For the pass two years, I struggle with really bad acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Thanks to this, it has improve my skin. My face looks more clean, healthy, glowing and most importantly clear from acne. I went through 2 peels (which is about a month) and so far everything is good. The only thing that I’m not a fan of was applying this to the skin because it gave me a little burning sensation.
I completed the first vial of blue brilliance a week ago. I had peeling from day 4-7 and my skin looks brighter. I’m looking forward to completing the 2nd vial in about a week. It’s a small vial but the product goes a long way. The initial sensation I felt was tingling, then burning in some sections as well. I was a bit worried about this product at first, especially after reading some other reviews, however I decided it was worth a go and it was one of the best skincare decisions I’ve made! I’ve used it twice now (once weekly for 10mins) and it’s almost completely cleared up my skin, aside from a few acne scars which will probably need a bit longer. I’ve been using this alongside other products from Revolution, including their cleanser, hydrating serum, and SPF moisturiser, and it’s done wonders for my skin. My skin is extremely sensitive. That paired with rosacea, acne, and combination skin type makes it hard for me to find products that cater to all those needs. After starting this my pores have looked better than ever. My skin looks smoother and acne has reduced. HOWEVER, if you have sensitive skin, rosacea, or dryness I would only recommend using this product once a week or every two weeks cause as "gentle" as it supposed to be it can cause irritation. Still a great product and totally worth it. Obviously it's not perfect, but it's worth giving a shot.Katzx

I have combination skin. T-zone always oil with black/white heads. I tried strong peeling facial products before. They are very effective but pricy (US$100 a bottle). They also make your skin red and feel burned. This one is not strong and price is ok. I see the result after the 5th times used. Tips: Follow the instructions on the package, only apply one sections & massage at a time, not the entire face. Remember to put the sun screen if going out during the daytime after the application. One of the best peels I've used. You're supposed to use this on damp, steamed skin, so I use this when I shower or take a bath. They come in little packets, so you tear open and put a small amount of the contents onto you fingers to apply to a section of your face. The product is very runny, so use caution if it's your first time. I then gentle rub my fingers back and forth or in small circular motions on the area until the peel begins to clump. Once I'm done with that section, I move onto the next until I covered all the areas I wanted to. There is no discernible scent that I pick up, and I notice no burning on my skin. Because this is a peel that is meant as a strong skin exfoliant, there might be sensitivity for some. I haven't personally experienced any, but I am not someone with extremely sensitive skin. After I am done, I rinse my face and follow with my usual skincare routine. This peel is very effective, and does a great job of clearing off the dead skin cells, leaving my complexion smoother, softer, and more ready to absorb the skincare products I use. These are my holy grail product. I used to have acne throughout my twenties and early thirties and quite a bit of scarring. My aesthetician recommended these (ultra gentle ones first). When you first use them, with regular use, you really do visibly see improvement in the texture. You need your skin to build up to them so try ultra gentle first. Over time, breakouts reduce and scars will fade, and a brighter more even complexion emerges. I have purchased these many times and love that through Sephora you get a few extra as bonus, as per pad they are something like $3-4 each. I use after washing face or showering and skip toner due to the neutralizer step, which balances the ph of the skin. Proceed with serum (nothing too active when I use these) and moisturizer. I’ve been using this about 2 years and because it comes in packets, I always share with others! This is by far one my favorite products I have ever purchased. Aside from it being so convenient to travel with, I began using this for my rosacea and acne. Starting with the Gentle peel daily, I could not believe how it cleared my skin and helped to level out the texture and redness of my rosacea, really creating a smoothness I don’t ever remember having. Now, using the Universal peel is a standard part of my routine, 2-3x per week. This helps keep my face soft and skin clear, especially around my nasal folds. I've always had good luck with glycolic acid products on my face. I currently use a glycolic toner. This peel is thick, with the consistency of a serum. You simple put a few drops on a cotton round and apply to the face (I also did my neck and decolletage). It dries almost instantly. I left it on for 5 minutes and then rinsed. I didn't experience any irritation, so I did a second round. (You can do up to 5 rounds at a time). That time a couple of spots began to burn, so I didn't do another layer. Afterwards my skin was SO soft and smooth, I couldn't believe it. I glowed the way I do after a professional Dermal Infusion. I then applied my normal products and went to bed. In the morning, I woke up to very oily skin, but I washed it and then it was fine. I'm really in love with this terrific product.JJL
This is hands down the best product I have ever used for not only my acne but also my dark spots. As a black woman with a stressful job, I got a lot of stress acne this year due to the pandemic. After I started using this and the 20% salicylic acid peel on my face from this same company, my skin changed drastically. I have been using this product twice a week or once a week depending on my skins sensitivity and the 20% once a week or every two weeks and my skin is dramatically different. I love their soothing gel mask and their hydra repair moisturizer with a specialized facial oil after treatments. I also use their facial cleanser prior to the peel as advertised and I apply the peel with a nice fan brush. I only keep it on for a minute and a half. I’m blown away and hooked on these products. This is a lifesaver. Please never discontinue these miracle products. They were better than my expensive murad line which costed me nearly 400$ and broke me out badly . Love your brand!Fallon
This is a soft, 10% glycolic acid peel. Soft in that it is rinsed off after a few minutes of initial application. Product comes in a small, clear glass bottle containing a clear and thick serum like substance and has an eye dropper dispenser to apply the peel to a cotton pad or ball after which it is incorporated onto the face. If you have fair, sensitive skin its best to start off using a light portion of serum and wearing it for just a couple of minutes before rinsing off.
