I'm very disappointed. The colors are great, the markers feel great. But there is one aspect that makes them unusable for me. They drip. I make fine art, not rough sketches, so my work is detail focused. The second color that I pulled out of this box to use, the second one that I tried, dripped multiple spots of ink out of the tip as I was lifting it up from the paper. They splattered across about an inch of space. This was very disappointing because otherwise, these have a lot going from them. But they are useless for me. #sweepstakesDavidDavid
Windsor and Newton are not excellent budget products but they are defiantly worth buying. Like most Windsor and newton products these did not disappoint these are not like the markers that I used as a kid smelly and streaky on the paper. These are just beautiful vibrant smooth on the paper and produce excellent vibrancy. As the product says great for Manga or any comic book type drawings. It comes with a blender tool which is just a bonus as you can bland or mix colours. You do have to clean the blender tool as it does hold onto the colour that you have just blended so it’s always an idea to have a scrap piece of paper to get the colour off. I would recommend using a paper that is more compatible for this kind of product as it works better on a paper that is made for these types of pens.Mickybee

They’re great quality, I love the many colors, and varieties of shades of colors as well. Gradient coloring is my thing. I love the small, tight drawings I can do, and especially the fine, clean lines I can make. It tightens up outlines seamlessly. Arteza is a great company. It’s the same stuff they sell in China, except American’s are getting some of the money. 🙂 which really makes them worth it just for that. They are great markers. Are they Stabilos? No, but those are designed and created in Germany. But they DO WORK JUST AS WELL!!!!! I like to color. These are so great for details, really detailed work, but I am a sloooow colorer. I like it to be perfect. The nib is too saturated to hold the pen in one spot for more than a nanosecond. I wanted to buy the Sakura Pigma Micron pens in different colors to use on my Hobonichi since it is a great fineliner for that planner. I originally bought a multipack in different sizes of the black color from another website and found that the .25mm is the size I use all the time to write. I wanted to get this size in different colors, so I went to JetPens and saw they sold each color individually. The pen itself write really well. It is smooth and does not bleed through the Tomoe River paper on the Hobonichi (it does ghost because the paper is so thin but I do not mind that). The pen is very pigmented and does not skip any ink, which it should not because it is a fineliner. It does not release too much ink, as I found happens to other finelines like the Steadtler fineliners. The .25mm size is very thin but I write small in my Hobonichi anyway so it is not a problem for me. If you are someone who is used to writing with larger pen sizes like .7 then I would suggest getting the next size for these pens. The only thing I want to make note of is I noticed that when I compared it to my Pigma Micron pen in the black ink that I got from the other website, the labels and writing on the outside of the pen are printed on directly the barrel. However, this one that I bought on JetPens has the label and markings printed on a clear sticker label and is stuck on the barrel instead of printed directly. I wish I could provide a picture of the comparison because I do not know if that has something to do the the authenticity of the pens. Upon closer inspection, another difference between the two is that the purple writings on the barrel (where is says "Pigma" "01" and "0.25mm") in my black pen from another website is a lighter shade of purple than the one I purchased here on JetPens. As far as the writing goes, I only had this pen for a short while so I cannot really tell the difference between the wear and tear of the nib (I press hard when I write) but they both seem to write the same. Another difference that I noticed is the code right above the barcode on the barrel has different fonts. The one I purchased on the other website has a smaller font size with the same font type as the rest of the writings on the barrel, while the one I purchased here has a larger font size with a more type-writer font, which is different from the rest of the font on the barrel. My only guess as to why there are differences is because I bought the black pen in a pack with different sizes vs. this is sold individually. I am hoping neither are fake, but I won't look too much into it because I don't want to know. They both work perfect and I will leave it at that.absabarre
Sakura Pigma Micron size 05 – 0.45mm – Earth colors set. Love the colors. Love the archival qualities of the ink: permanent, non-acid. Don't love the stepped cylinder construction near the tip. I hold my pens close to the tip & I grip these Sakura Pigma Micron pens right AT the step from the smallest cylinder above the metal tip to the medium cylinder inside the area the cap covers. Even so, due to an unfortunate flooding incident (AC drain plugged & water dripped into plastic basket holding some notebooks & all pages were lost, EXCEPT those I'd written with Sakura Pigma Micron pens) I am switching from my previous fave & comfy to hold but NOT permanent Staedtler Triplus Fineliners to Sakura Pigma Microns for my general-purpose pens.dragons4
Four and a half stars! Great for detail work and writing in small spaces. Mostly, I have them from brush nib to tiniest one for Copic coloring pieces to fill in any spots when my stamped images came out spotty/too light in certain areas. I love how super quickly they dry on porous papers: it takes mere seconds to follow through if I'm using coated papers like Xpress Blending Card (le creme de la crop and I use nothing else with my Copic Sketch markers)! However, if I forget where I've made my marks with a Micron and I'm in a rush, the smear is no bueno. I got the pack of pink tone markers, and I'm absolutely in love with them! The only thing I've noticed is that they have a very wet ink, and even on my multimedia paper, a little pilling occurs, and they bleed over the lines a little as they dry. I got the kit for the freehand tattoo marker. There are so many bad things about this item… -Even tho it is supposed to last for 4 designs the development patch is enough for maximum 1 (it's really small) -The marker has a very thick lining – The ink comes of from the place I wanted it and it went all over my hand from where I can't take it off. – it is supposed to stay 1-2 weeks. It is very easy to use and the tattoos last for about a week (it's summer and I work out every day, so that is no small feat!!). The tattoos look great after the development time, it is quite amazing. I have only two issues with the product. 1) it stains, even after the development period. I woke up with a bit of the arm tattoo on my face and on my other arm. 2) The marker runs out so QUICKLY :C I only was able to do a couple of tattoo (big one though, but only line art) before the ink began to run out.
