These are my favorite pens- specifically these colors: black, red, green, purple, blue (don’t get the metallic ones- they’re hardly visible on a page). These pens are super vibrant, they don’t dry up or clog randomly (like papermate inkjoys tend to do), they’re long-lasting, and glide fluidly across the page. I’d recommend these for note taking (especially if you need to write fast). They’re also quick drying, but they have a tendency to smear SOMETIMES, but usually I don’t have a problem with smearing. The plastic bodies are also refillable. 10/10 would recommend, and will buy again.EVELYN
This is one of my favorite pens. A good pen just glides smoothly and makes it easy to write with good penmanship. This one does that. Usually. There have been multiple times where I’ve had a pen that just…. I don’t know even what happened. It’s like a very fine, thin strand of metal just extended a tad so it wouldn’t write anymore and instead felt like a needle literally cutting across the page. Not sure what was happening. Other than that, these are great pens.
These pens, are nice because you can buy a pack of refills and refill them when they are empty! I love using a pen and paper and writing anything, I actually prefer it to like writing lists in my phone.. so, these pens have a tiny tip that sometimes can be irritating for me, because it makes the ink go out occasionally and ends up making my writing look messy where the ink dragged or skipped… And it seems like once they drag or skip, it feels like it just keeps happening over and over. Also, the refillable option is great, however I haven't actually found myself buying the inserts to actually refill them, I forgetting and end up going and buying a different brand pack of pens.. and the few times I did happen to remember to get the inserts, of course, I couldn't find them at the stores I happened to be at. I never, EVER write in black ink. Like, I went a quarter-century without black ink in my hands unless I was stuck without a pen at a doctor's office or something. But then my son kept asking to borrow a black pen from me, and I had give all the black Tul pens, from my multi-color packages, to my husband. Finally, I decided, you know what? I was debating whether I need these pens because I already have a very comparable set of Papermate Ink Joy pens. After testing them out, I admit they are very similar. I really like my Ink Joy pens but in comparison, writing with them feels a little more scratchy. Also, to me, the flow and color of the Tul pens seems a little more bold. However, I would say the balance of the Ink Joy pens is a little more satisfying. I also like the feel of the rubbery coating over the entire barrel. The weight and balance of the Tul pens feels just a little more flimsy. While the metal tip at the base is very nice, the metal looking plastic above, when you get above the rubbery grip, is just a little too lightweight. The look is that you would expect metal but it's not. On the whole, I would be happy writing with either pen, you can't go wrong with either pen. I would like to request that you NEVER discontinue this pen! I am a pen nut and I came across this one the other day. There were only two left and I bought both. One for my husband and one for me. I love the heft & strength, the boldness of the ink, the no smudge, and hope to own one in every color soon. When I come across a favorite, I carry them all (🤷🏼♀️ Never know what one feels good for that day.. I'm very particular with my writing). I have finally a pen that works for people who are left handed. I purchased two of these and I am very pleased. When writing there is hardly any resistance. There have been two tiny instances when the pen wouldn't write but I went back and tried again and it worked. The pen can still write on the surface of the lines that have been exposed to the natural oils of my hands or lotion that has been on my hands and dragged on the paper surface without resistance. The only concern that I have is that when writing you can feel the ball point rolling. But that is a very small matter. I will continue to purchase Zebra pens and refill cartridges in the future.
Zebra Sarasa gel pens are amazing and only bested by the Sarasa Grand. The upcharge is worth it. The Sarasa Grand is made of brass, so it has some heft. My work, a government agency, supplies these useless pens for us to use. I guess that's because it's one of the cheapest pens available from Office Depot. As noted in other reviews the pen skips constantly. If you take the pen apart to try to coax the ink to flow, it will never go back together again. I am hoping that we can switch to a different pen as we are wasting money on these. Give me 4 good pens for the same price and they will last far longer than 12 of these. These pens are would only be good for supplying to clients who walk off with them. Though, attaching a flower to the end of the pen would also work for that.

Quality-wise, the material, design, aesthetics, and workmanship of the pen are excellent. I have no problems with the material quality of the pen. You can't see it but there is actually a white rubber grip blended into the entirety of the white barrel of the pen. Like all 0.7mm pens, the ink just kind of flows too much and the lines are thick, so if you like to write small this pen will not be good at doing that. It just feels like the ink is overcrowding your writing area if you write small. I would not recommend this pen if you write small for note-taking. I feel this pen is more suited to be used for someone signing a document, check, or something important. And I will ultimately end up using these pens for check signing only. I was a little worried that this would be just another overpriced pen that performed mediocre at best. I was glad to say that I was wrong. This pen is what I like to call, a glider. I purchased these pens and as well as the basic colored black, red and blue inked pens, because the advertisement on the packaging convinced me, BUT it was all false advertisement, when you hold the pen it feels tacky and plastic. Paying for the amount it was worth for the 5 pens, feels more like they should've been worth $2.00 for all of them. Being a pen lover these were a miss for me especially when writing with them, it's not smooth and precise as I would like them to be… Yes the tip looked sharp and convincing when I seen it, but they weren't worth the purchase for any of these pens. Great pen; writes without pressing. Writes upside down. Only downside is that I believe large changes in elevation may cause leakage. (000ft to 6,000ft) since the barometric pressure on everything changes; If one is leaking, toss ot before it get on everything. Ink usually washes out, however! I have been using the Uniball Vision Pen for years! It is my pen of choice, because it is easy to write with – it glides along smoothly. In contrast to an ordinary ball point pen, it takes much less effort to write with this pen. And it writes as though with pen and quill! I highly recommend this pen! I enjoy the easy flow on the ink on the paper. Great for handwriting letters. I don’t have to press down hard on the paper as with a basic Bic pen and they don’t smell adversely strong like a basic oil-based Bic pen. Ink dries fairly quick. If used outside in cold weather, the ink does not flow as easily, but in a normal house or office temperature, they are great. Very happy with these pens.Brian

This pen is heavyweight which I do like a lot makes it feel more sturdy when I'm writing the only drawback to this is i dropped it twice which it didn't break so that's great but the the ink stopped for a minute after each drop , I had to scribble a bit to get it flowing again, not s huge deal but I do wish it didn't happen. Overall it writes incredibly smooth and is very durable the part where I click does feel flimsy compared to the rest of the pen but thats such a small thing . I love how this pen writes. Ink glides perfectly and there is very minimal skipping. The only thing I don't like is it that it is really heavy. It is made with the some super heavy metal, which makes it clunky in my hand. But seriously how nice it writes overrides how heavy it is.
