Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). So, needs a little bit more accuracy in the product labelling: Made from 100% pure peppermint oil, but not 100% in the bottle.Alan

I use it from time to time, and when I use it, I always feel I should be using it more often on my hair, because it really does make your hair feel soft and smooth. I love this frankincense essential oil by Parador. Yes it has a strong woody spicy aroma. •I just lowered it to 3 stars , dropper gives too much like a waterfall and seems little weaker than my last purchase in April but didn’t use it in my diffuser yet , I only smelled the bottle. Now they must have done this on purpose so that you use more. Really annoying to not being able to decide how many drops you actually want . So if it performs good in the diffuser I may buy again but if it’s lots weaker then I will find something else next time. Also I will move the droppers from my old bottles to the new using a table knife to remove them. I put some in footbath but on both occasion I got pain lumps in my nipples and I have history of gynecomastia so I knew it was that and after I searched Internet for peppermint and oestrogen I saw this is the case which confirmed my experience that it affects hormones. Some places are a hit and miss, but because I know AVEDA wants happy customers, I knew I could return it if Im not fully satisfied. I took a break from Bergamot for a while; choosing instead my other two staple scents: Peppermint and Patchouli. But a recent experience with the Beautifying Composition Oil reawakened my love of Bergamot, so I recently ordered – opened – prepared to be immersed – and record scratch…. An amazing oil , how this works for me. Part of my volunteering work for a local charity entails the physical hard graft of lifting , carrying and sorting used textiles. This is strenuous and dirty work but very rewarding. At the end of a long day I go to my local spa for a rejuvenating sauna and cleansing swim. I find this oil great to lift and refresh the spirits from the fug of a stuffy day. In the sauna A few drops on a towel around my neck clears my airways and revitalises me. Then after a refreshing swim and a cleansing shower I'll massage a few drops into my shoulders and a couple on the soles of my feet. I return home totally uplifted ready to enjoy the evening. This product is so potent! If anyone is wondering it is pure peppermint oil since that is the only thing on the ingredient list. Much like peppermints or peppermint gum this does have a hot but ice cold feeling when it’s on the skin. It’s a very small bottle but it’s to be expected. The bottle also has a type of stopper or sifter (?) on it. With that it only allows a drop at a time but it’s not so small to where it feels impossible to get a second droplet.

I’ve been dragging ever since I had the virus a few months ago. When I saw peppermint, and then the word ENERGIZE on the box, I gave it a second look. I’ve always used peppermint for different things. I especially use the peppermint essential oil in my elementary classroom. When the students get stinky for one reason or another, I use a dab of it under my nose to block the unpleasant odors. I bought this hoping it would not only do that for me, but “energize” me as well. This comes two to a box and they are very nicely packaged. I’ve used this a couple of times now, each time changing it up to find the most efficient way to utilize it. On the temples seemed to be the way to go but other than feeling like I must smell like essential oils, I didn’t notice any difference to my energy. I think I actually felt a little sleepy afterwards. I also added it to my wrist pulse point and then another time to pulse points in my neck and neither made me feel even for a minute that I was energized or even a tiny bit more alert or awake, which are reactions I usually have to essential peppermint oil. However, it was nice when I placed it under my nose for those times when I don’t want to smell hot and sweaty 4th grade boys after PE. It wasn’t as harsh as the pure peppermint oil I usually use, which I liked because I applied it directly to my skin without applying it to a napkin and then my skin, my safest way to use the oil. I then felt a flash of “oh, nice” alertness but it passed by in a moment or two but it was followed by my nasal passages opening up a bit more than they were. I'm a big scented oil user in my home – my favorite being peppermint as it reminds me of happy holidays. When I ordered the GuruNanda 100% Pure Peppermint Topical Essential Oil Roll-On – 2 Pack I knew the scent I was getting but I had never ordered one that is topical. I figured I would keep one in my purse and one by my work computer and use it when I needed a pick-me-up. So when I went to use the first container the top wouldn't come off – at all. Thinking it was enveloped in tight cellophane wrapping and seeing none I picked at it with my nail but ended up using plyers to twist off the cap. OK so then I applied it to two of my pressure points, the back of wrists and neck, thinking with my body heat it would smell for a while. But no. Very faint. So I applied some more, then some more again. But the smell is barely there. I looked on the box to see if there was an expiration date and saw 2020 so that might explain the potency.
