I like to give everything at least a one or two month shot so this is my second bottle. As well as using it on my face and décolletage I also use it on the back of my hands. It was because of using it on the back of my hand that I decided to buy the second bottle. The difference was quite astounding. I’m an older gal (66) so any changes to my face are going to be subtle. I couldn’t argue with what it was doing for my hands so I think it must be doing the same for my face! I like the dispenser and the blue color of the serum! I put this on as soon as I wash my face and let it sink in for about 15 or 20 minutes. I probably don’t need that much time but I have time on my hands so why not! I then go ahead and use my vitamin C and then my moisturizer in the morning. In the evening it’s also the first thing I use and then continue with whatever regime I’m doing that night. I’m impressed that although I’m using it twice a day and on my hands it seems to last quite a long time. I will undoubtedly buy a third bottle!

I have a combination to oily skin, which easily becomes dehydrated, especially during winter, when the weather is freezing and the heating is on. The formula is moderately thick and viscous, but it's lightweight and very hydrating. The application is effortless. I love using the dropper applicator to measure the required amount of the product. Another winning product that i love from The Ordinary. This is a gorgeous blue serum and I dont know it sparks joy for me when its time to do my skincare routine. I dont know about you but I have a handful of those special products that make me excited to put on and this is definitely one. As for the price of this, it is a bit higher than most of the brands products but it is very fair for the amount and quality. Copper peptides in skincare products are always on the higher side but again I think this is more than fair. Copper peptides serve as an antioxidant, promote collagen and elastin production making this great for anyone who wants to prevent signs of aging or to just use in your anti-aging skin regimen. Copper peptides have shown that they can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and my skin loves this and I always feel plump and supple afterwards. I have been using this daily sometimes twice a day along with The Ordinary's Argireline and Matrixyl (i love my peptides). After 3 months of using these 3 serums daily I started to see a notice in my forehead wrinkles, I unfortunately didn't take any pictures to show anyone because I didn't think I'd be writing a review but I really wish I had and I promise ill get better with this for my future reviews. I've never posted a skin care review before, but I was so stunned by this that I'm doing it now in the hopes that they never, ever discontinue this product. I wanted to love this product, but it caused breakout issues. I had been using niacinamide and vitamin C and it was working great. I did not love the feeling of the Vitamin C product so I thought I would try the Buffet and Buffet + Copper Peptide. I quit the vitamin C product 2 weeks prior to using the Buffet to avoid irritation. A week after using these products I had noticeable breakouts. I used to struggle with acne for years before having it majorly improved. I thought maybe this is a purge stage so I kept going, but it kept getting worse. Days after stopping this routine my acne cleared up significantly. I had tried just the Buffet +copper peptides but I found that was the product that caused me to break out (the regular Buffet did not). I did not go back to my old routine as I ran out of these products, but my simply cleanse and moisturizer routine have helped. I will probably add back in the niacinamide and vitamin C. I used this for about 3 months to really try to give it a full chance but I am just sad it did not work. My skin is typically oily, but can become dry if I mess up my routine. When I initially applied the Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Face Moisturizer to my skin, it felt light and refreshing. The texture was creamy but not too heavy and I appreciate that it is fragrance-free so that it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Unfortunately though, the product noticeably pilled on my skin. At first, I thought maybe it was reacting with one of the serums I used underneath, but when I tried it with just hyaluronic acid underneath and waited until it was fully absorbed before applying the moisturizer, it still pilled. My previous moisturizer didn’t pill, so I’m convinced that the issue is with the formula of the Olay moisturizer. It was so bad that if anything happened to brush past my face during the day or I changed my clothes, I would see little white pills left behind on my skin. On top of that, I did not notice any significant improvements in my skin after using the moisturizer consistently for a few weeks. The biggest reason I would not purchase this product though is that Olay is not truly cruelty-free, despite its pledges to end animal testing listed on its website. While I appreciate that they are supposedly investing in cruelty-free research alternatives, they still sell their products in countries that require animal testing by law, so they are indirectly condoning it. I was nervous to try the Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Face Moisturizer. I have combo skin that leans towards the dry side and is also acne prone, so I was afraid this would trigger a huge breakout. I'm happy to report that I am quite enjoying this moisturizer and have had no breakouts from it. It's very hydrating and does a good job at balancing the dry and more oily parts of my skin. I do find that it leaves my skin a tad greasy immediately after applying, but this resolves itself quickly as it absorbs into my skin (maybe 10-15 minutes). Once absorbed, my skin looks hydrated and feels soft to the touch. I haven't had any irritation from this moisturizer at all, although I don't have particularly sensitive skin. I love that it's fragrance free as well. Strongly fragranced products tend to cause headaches for me, so this is a huge plus. The only downside I have noticed is that it pills if I wear it under makeup. Although this is an inconvenience, it's not a dealbreaker for me. Because of this, I only use this moisturizer at night, as well as during the day when I'm not going to be wearing foundation. All in all, this is a pretty great moisturizer. The first time I used this was in a sample and I watched my skin literally drink this in as I applied it. My skin immediately felt softer and smoother and I had to buy it. Makes my skin dewy and more youthful but it also gives me patches of breakouts. I almost never get breakouts so it’s very annoying but I really do like the fresh look of my skin otherwise. Wish that wasn’t an unfortunate side effect on my particular skin but I’m sure it’s different for everyone. I really do like the formula a lot even though it smells a little bit like mayonnaise to me. Wish I could honestly give it 5 stars, I just hate the breakouts so much. This product is amazing and worth every penny. I'll say right off the bat I was deterred for a very long time to purchase any drunk elephant products due to price regardless of being a clean skin care product junkie. I've had problematic skin ever since puberty and now I'm 27. My acne has always been a huge issue. I have combination oily acne prone skin that's also sensitive. The Sephora employee at the store was actually super understanding about the price but still wanted to give me the best advice, which I appreciated. I was looking for something to exfoliate my skin. Something not too harsh but gets the job done and also has clean ingredients. I had tried physical exfoliants and chemical exfoliants including the ordinary aha-bha mask, alpyn beauty aha face wash (which I still love but only during certain seasons and that was before I tried this), as well as some physical face exfoliants like caudalie's exfoliating face wash (which both me and my husband like but he has dry skin, which is very different from mine so it worked better for him). The Sephora employee gave me a free sample of this. If it wasn't for that free sample I would have never bought it. It changed my skin for the better. I have way less acne these days it's amazing. I don't like the packaging. The top has become unattached and it's a pain to get the product out of the bottle now. I don't like the slide top packaging. I wish for something more simple. I ordered the drunk elephant protini polypeptide after receiving a deluxe sample of it. I ordered the full size to take advantage of a sale, and I didn’t open it until a few months after ordering, because I was still finishing off the deluxe sample. Unfortunately the packaging did not work, and is unable to be pumped out of the package. It is still full and unable to be used. I exclusively use drunk elephant on my skin, and I have reordered drunk elephant's other products many times, have never had this issue with any of their other serums. Sephora customer service was so unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue since it was outside of their 60 day return policy. I didn't even open it until after 60 days since I was finishing the sample. Such a terrible experience and now I have a full bottle of $82 serum that is unusable.slk93

Was gifted this product a couple of years ago and used it pretty quickly – I’m normally pretty disloyal with skincare so products last me an age due to me switching between. This was not the case with this one from Allies. Recently I invested in this product again and loving it just as much second time around. I have been a bit shy when it comes to Allies of skin as in their first releases their products did not really seem to cater to drier more mature skin types. But as the brand evolves they have broadened their line a lot. And this is a really good moisturiser on top of it containing so many good peptide ingredients. I find it very similar to for instance Kate Somervilles peptide K8 in efficacy. But in a larger tube. It’s expensive though and perhaps even a bit over priced as they so easily can offer a permanent large discount if you become a regular purchase subscriber to the brands own website, which i find a bit questionable especially if you prefer to shop your skincare wherever you want. I'm a big fan of this serum, especially because so many serums break my all too sensitive skin out (and nobody wants breakouts at this age, we have enough indignities!) and this amazingly does the opposite. It seems gentle and healing on the skin, absorbs nicely, and does have some plumping and line-smoothing effects, especially used in the morning, before makeup. I am using the Squalane cleanser, niacinamide + zinc, buffet, and natural moisturizing factors + ha. I also add lactic acid 5% at night. I got this routine doing the quiz on their site. I've been using the ordinary products (hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, retinol, lactic acid, salicylic mask, caffeine solution) for over a year now with a fairly strict routine. I just added this serum to my routine and use it every morning and about 2 nights a week if I feel my skin needs it. This is the only thing I have changed in my routine and WOW – I looked in the mirror the other day and could barely see the pores on my cheeks. Visible pores have always been a struggle for me and in about 4-5 weeks I have noticed a HUGE difference. I will be recommending this to all my friends with similar issues and will keep this in the routine. The only thing I have noticed is my skin feels slightly tacky for about 30 minutes after applying but the less I put on the less tacky my skin feels. Not sure what happened w/ this one. I use many other Neutrogena products like wipes/moisturizers/creams w/great success. Unfortunately, this Neutrogena Lift Serum didn't work for me. Not sure if it doesn't work well w/ my dry skin, if an ingredient in it disagrees w/ me, or maybe usage of the 2 x's per day is too much. This serum left my skin with worse dryness & a blotch-y skin texture. Prior to using this product, my skin was smooth for the most part, so I was looking forward to seeing some improvement in skin appearance & a reduction in fine lines. No luck. The process of the serum was simple though. Just use 2 's per day in AM & PM on a clean face. A little goes a long way & I found just 2 pumps was enough to cover my face/neck. You follow that w/ your usual moisturizer. Super simple right? My skin just didn't do well w/ this product. No worries though – all skin is unique & I'm sure this will work well for others. I have been using this serum for about a month now and about half a bottle is gone. Sometimes I use it once a day , sometimes twice or even 3 times. I am not sure what results I should be getting but my face feels nice after application. I have bought plenty of little bottles of this serum so maybe I will start noticing some bigger difference in my skin after a while. I’m so surprised by this serum. I thought for the price it probably wouldn’t be that good. I have awful skin. It’s got old acne scars, open pores, red blotches and I have freckles and lines and wrinkles, so it never looks good. I could see a difference from day one. My skin looked clearer, lines looked less defined and I could see a difference. And, it will last ages as you only need a few drops. Amazing stuff, I will definately re order.

Order, delivery and packaging wise all great. The actual product is very expensive although at the time of purchase, I found it from this ebay retailer at the lowest price (as compared). Given it is a serum, only a small amount is required so it goes quite a long way. I was recommended the product from my beautician but I don't think I have seen a huge difference on my skin, hence why I'm not sure it is good value for its high price.nm-2004
I have a few areas of darker complexion by my eyes and cheeks – likely from sun beds in the past…. this product is fab and it's definitely faded the problem with regular use in two weeks. Another winning product that i love from The Ordinary. This is a gorgeous blue serum and I dont know it sparks joy for me when its time to do my skincare routine. I dont know about you but I have a handful of those special products that make me excited to put on and this is definitely one. As for the price of this, it is a bit higher than most of the brands products but it is very fair for the amount and quality. Copper peptides in skincare products are always on the higher side but again I think this is more than fair. Copper peptides serve as an antioxidant, promote collagen and elastin production making this great for anyone who wants to prevent signs of aging or to just use in your anti-aging skin regimen. Copper peptides have shown that they can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and my skin loves this and I always feel plump and supple afterwards. I have been using this daily sometimes twice a day along with The Ordinary's Argireline and Matrixyl (i love my peptides). After 3 months of using these 3 serums daily I started to see a notice in my forehead wrinkles, I unfortunately didn't take any pictures to show anyone because I didn't think I'd be writing a review but I really wish I had and I promise ill get better with this for my future reviews. All in all this will continue to be a staple in my routine and i definitely recommend it/them. I've never posted a skin care review before, but I was so stunned by this that I'm doing it now in the hopes that they never, ever discontinue this product. My results with other serums, creams, and lotions have ranged from "I think I look a little better" to completely destroying my skin (prescription retinoid, which gave me huge visible pores and ruined my texture.) Prior to this I had seen some good result brightening with the Vitamin C product, but I wanted to see more because I was really unhappy with my texture and discoloration issues (age spots, sun damage, etc.) Well, after only a few weeks, my skin was completely transformed- I mean, GLOWING. I thought it was the combination, but I ended up discontinuing the Vitamin C and nope- it just kept getting better. It's this!!! I can't compare it to the normal Buffet, but I can say with certainty that this formula has taken my skin from rough, dehydrated, damaged-looking, and rapidly aging to smooth, glowing, and much younger looking. I don't even wear makeup most days anymore; the only other products I use are CeraVe night and eye creams, and LaRoche Posay w/SPF daytime lotion. I'm sold for life. I wanted to love this product, but it caused breakout issues. I had been using niacinamide and vitamin C and it was working great. I did not love the feeling of the Vitamin C product so I thought I would try the Buffet and Buffet + Copper Peptide. I quit the vitamin C product 2 weeks prior to using the Buffet to avoid irritation. A week after using these products I had noticeable breakouts. I used to struggle with acne for years before having it majorly improved. I thought maybe this is a purge stage so I kept going, but it kept getting worse. Days after stopping this routine my acne cleared up significantly. I had tried just the Buffet +copper peptides but I found that was the product that caused me to break out (the regular Buffet did not). I did not go back to my old routine as I ran out of these products, but my simply cleanse and moisturizer routine have helped. I will probably add back in the niacinamide and vitamin C. I used this for about 3 months to really try to give it a full chance but I am just sad it did not work. My skin is typically oily, but can become dry if I mess up my routine. I tend to have really nice dewy skin (I just wanted to aid in preventing signs of aging), but this product caused texture irregularities.Sarah

I was on the hunt for a body product that wasn't so heavy, didn't take forever to dry down, and didn't feel suffocating and sweaty after applying in the hotter months. THIS is it!! I absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel, sooo silky and supple. It takes me no time to apply this everywhere, spreads so smoothly, and dries down like a dream. I hope they never stop making this, it has changed my skincare routine and revived my body-care routine. I know the price isn't exactly cheap but a little does go a long way!
Peptide Firming Serum – this has been interesting to try! This has AHA’s and Niacinamide to smooth and firm skin – I feel like I’ve noticed a difference in my hands. Really impressed with the ingredient list on this. It’s a milky white, serum like lotion that has kind of a tacky feel at first but it sinks in crazy fast, it’s going to be the perfect summer moisturizer! So lightweight, and good for everyone as long as you’re not super dry. I recommend using this on dry skin before bed as it becomes tacky when you apply on damp skin from the shower. It’s expensive ($35) but if my skin keeps improving like this I’m definitely going to rebuy it!holly.d

When something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad, I make the time to share my thoughts since I, personally, find the strongly opinionated reviews to be the most helpful when I am considering new products. Now, my thoughts on this serum…I love the packaging design and simplicity of opening, dispensing and closing it. The top turns to expose a small opening in the center of the lid, and simply turning the bottle over or giving it a little squeeze releases the perfect amount of product at a time. Icing on the cake – twist to close it back. Super helpful when your hands are covered in product and slippery! The serum itself has a perfect consistency, almost like a water gel moisturizer. It spreads easily over the skin, and soaks in quickly. No overly greasy or missed dry spots! What I love most is the lasting moisturizing effect with this light serum. When short on time or short on patience for thick body lotions, I can use this alone on my whole body and feel properly moisturized throughout the day! No need to follow up with a separate lotion! Lastly, the scent is light, mild, and pleasant without much fragrance. It dissipates quickly as it gets absorbed. This product smells absolutely disgusting — literally like a mix of bleach and sewage. The smell doesn't dissipate for 30-45 minutes to up to an hour after application and it was so bad that I've had to wash it off my face before. On days where I don't wash it off, I see literally NO difference in my skin. This is an outrageously expensive product for the horrific smell alone let alone for no useful effects? This works. My skin has never been more healthy and vibrant. After years of trying different brands including Epicurean my aesthetician started Osmosis. I also use it with Osmosis Renew. It’s a process. Use it at night. You don’t use a whole pump. Just a little with your hydrosol to spread it out. Wait for it to set for 20 minutes. Then use your night cream. It is yellow/orange. It’s full of vitamin C. And you’ll wake up with soft glowing skin. I’ve been using this product for 5 years.I get so many compliments on my skin and they all want to know what I’m using. Really hoped I would like it after reading the reviews. It’s a brown color that does not blend into the skin. It sits on top and makes the skin look a bit orange, not tan. Even with mixing it with my moisturizer it is weird. That said, I’ve been using it since the purchase in my August. I have actually seen a decline in my skin since using it. Before switching I was using the Revisions Vit C. My skin looked better with that. I thought I would try this since I was ordering the Stemfactor. The jury is still out on that. I will be switching back to Revisions, or SkinCeuticals.
