I bought this to perm my mother's hair. She has complained for a while now that her hair has gotten thinner. So I googled how to perm hair, ordered this perm and some rods, and got to work. The worst part was that it took so long to roll the hair on the rods. As you can see from the picture the curls turned out very well and really lasted a long time. I liked it so much that I ordered one and permed my own hair. This is the first perm I've had in several years! Mine also did well and I have so much more body. There was no noticeable damage to our hair. Mine is color treated, my mother's is not. I should note, too, that we both have thyroid issues but there was no problem with this perm "taking". I have ordered several times recently and the boxes inside the shipping package are crushed, torn and damp from the permanent wave solution leaking. This perm really did a number on my hair. I have always liked this perm and always bought it to get my perm done, but I am not sure what happend this time. Not sure if they changed the solution. Any Ideas of what could of happend.
