I haven't used a scrunchie since childhood, mostly because I hated the inner rubber elastic. I have thick hair that tangles easily, and would either break the inner rubber elastic, stretch it out, or get it stuck in my hair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inside of this scrunchie is not the rubber elastic! It is similar to the elastic bands used in clothing, so it will guarantee no kinks in the hair when wearing them. The satin is very smooth, so my hair glides when I want to remove the scrunchie. Another thing I like is that the size of the cloth of the scrunchie is not super large, so for anyone who wants to wear a scrunchie a bit more subtly can enjoy this. The only thing I might warn against is the quality of the scrunchie satin — I did not buy this scrunchie pack on Amazon, but at an Ulta. There is no way to check for satin fraying through the packaging, but unfortunately I did have loose thread and seams.ayabo
Since buying a few of these pillowcases and using them I find my skin has improved. I have less acne break outs. I also notice that so far the black color hasn't faded even though I use benzyl peroxide on my face when I sleep. Other lower quality pillowcases I have used in the past either get oil stains from my skin being too oily, or the color fades from the benzyl peroxide. My experience the Silvon company was great – easy purchase, and fast shipping. I ordered two pillow cases and masks to help my skin stay clean and clear – a month later, I’ve seen no difference. I might be getting a little bit less acne from the masks, but it’s definitely not enough to say for sure, could just be my stress levels reducing. The masks are also pretty poorly made with a flimsy elastic around the ears and some thread fraying; my 5 dollar ones from target are much nicer. I love taking a silk pillow case with me when I travel. It's easy to slip on top of the pillow and helps me rest better so I decided I'd purchase another one so I didn't have to keep taking off the one I usually sleep on but oh my! Taft silk pillowcases are good for about six cold water washes. Thereafter, the zippers fail. I purchased four silk pillowcases, and the zippers failed. I talked my husband into buying me this for my birthday ( better than the pedi – foot thing he bought me for christmsas,lol) i,ll try anything that might make even one wrinkle less noticeable so this really sounded different and you never know until you try. It,s very soft and a comfortable pillowcase and looks very nice and we'll made. Nothing cheap about it, which was a plus and I do beleive it helps, not saying all my wrinkles went away, I wish, lol, but with using my usual skincare products it,s like a little boost to my routine. I definitely sleep well on it which a good night's sleep and less stress are very helpful to your skin. The most noticeable benefit from it though was,nt anything it claimed to do but it really cut down on headaches. I anytime I felt one coming on after I discovered this benifits i,d take 10 minutes or more and rest my head on my pillow and headaches just seem to go away or at least be less bothersome. Overall it has it,s advantages , and no telling what other benifits someone else might get out of it. As soon as I heard about this pillowcase, I decided I had to have it. I do love it and now that I've been using it everyday, I can't stand to use any other pillowcase. After using this pillowcase, cotton pillowcases feel so rough pressed up against my skin and hair. I've been using this pillowcase for seven months. feel like my hair is smoother and less messy when I wake up. Other than that, I don't know if this pillowcase has made much difference in my skin and hair. I sleep on my side but I rarely wake up with sleep wrinkles. I did, however, wake up with sleep wrinkles on one side of my face one time since I started using this. It only happened once out of 7 months, though. I continue to use the pillowcase because when I try to switch back to a plain cotton one, I feel that the fabric of the cotton is uncomfortable and hard on my hair. The smooth satin of this pillowcase just feels much less harsh against my skin. This is a splurge, but it feels and looks luxurious. Don't expect it to make a huge difference in your skin and hair. Also, I know you can machine wash it but I hand wash it every time, just in case that will help it last as long as possible.ambiedextrous
After reading all the good reviews I decided to purchase this pillowslip! I wish I never had…. the following day after sleeping on this I woke up with a rash on both sides of my face where it had touched the pillowslip! Over the weeks this became progressively worse! I paid to see a private dermatologist, visited the doctors numerous times, even ended up at a&e! My face looked and felt like it was on fire!!! I had lovely skin and never had any problems… I now have hypersensitive skin due to this pillowslip and have to use special products!! 3 months later and my skin is just starting to look normal again!! I'm a side sleeper and wanted something that didn't aggravate my rosacea – I tried a much more expensive and well-known brand of silk pillowcases hoping they would be the answer, but instead ended up with a load of bumps along the side of my face, and overheated cheeks, causing a bad flare up. I tried these hoping that I'd have better luck with satin and I've had absolutely no issue – no aggravated/rubbed raw cheeks and no weird bumps on my face! These sheets are terrible. They did not work as described and did not keep my husband cool. They started coming apart at the seams within a couple of months and there is no way to follow up on the warranty. Our white sheets also started turning yellow after a few months. we've never had sheets this terrible before.Debs

I’ve been searching for a set of sheets close to the Wamsutta cotton/percale, very cooling on the body sheets I purchased at BB&B a few years back. It seems Wamsutta is no longer making them and their new line is not the same. I decided to try these sheets as the label fit my must haves—500 thread count, temperature regulating, cool to the touch, superior wicking. Not so!! After two nights of very uncomfortable sleep, I returned the sheets. It locked in body heat, making it impossible to keep my body cool, everywhere I moved on the bed did not feel cool. These are really comfortable pillow cases they feel really good on your face and they look good this is my second pair so I went back for another pair I like them the only advice I can give someone who buys them is with the zipper when you wash them and dry them make sure the zipper is fully closed if you have it fully open it could be hard to start it up again and when you put a pillow in or out of it don't unzip it all the way don't let it unzip all the way, it'd be hard to start it up again. I like to unzip it 80% and then pinch that while I pull the pillow out so it doesn't want to open up any further it hangs up otherwise.Pasquale
