I haven't used a scrunchie since childhood, mostly because I hated the inner rubber elastic. I have thick hair that tangles easily, and would either break the inner rubber elastic, stretch it out, or get it stuck in my hair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inside of this scrunchie is not the rubber elastic! It is similar to the elastic bands used in clothing, so it will guarantee no kinks in the hair when wearing them. The satin is very smooth, so my hair glides when I want to remove the scrunchie. Another thing I like is that the size of the cloth of the scrunchie is not super large, so for anyone who wants to wear a scrunchie a bit more subtly can enjoy this. The only thing I might warn against is the quality of the scrunchie satin — I did not buy this scrunchie pack on Amazon, but at an Ulta. There is no way to check for satin fraying through the packaging, but unfortunately I did have loose thread and seams.ayabo
Since buying a few of these pillowcases and using them I find my skin has improved. I have less acne break outs. I also notice that so far the black color hasn't faded even though I use benzyl peroxide on my face when I sleep. Other lower quality pillowcases I have used in the past either get oil stains from my skin being too oily, or the color fades from the benzyl peroxide. These pillow cases have been the best ones I have ever used by far! I also like using them with the satin scrunchies to keep my hair out of my face, but also reduces breakage with my hair. My experience the Silvon company was great – easy purchase, and fast shipping. I ordered two pillow cases and masks to help my skin stay clean and clear – a month later, I’ve seen no difference. I might be getting a little bit less acne from the masks, but it’s definitely not enough to say for sure, could just be my stress levels reducing. The masks are also pretty poorly made with a flimsy elastic around the ears and some thread fraying; my 5 dollar ones from target are much nicer. The material itself is honestly about as soft as any cheap fabric, I was expecting nice cotton but it’s fairly scratchy and feels cheap (maybe this is the silver?). I’m hoping that the more I wash it the softer it’ll get, but 3 washes in and nothing has changed. Overall fairly disillusioned by this product, maybe my opinion will change after a few months of use! I haven't used the products long enough to see if there are any lasting results but the pillowcases are pretty nice and towels soft and comfy so I'm not mad about them. I also got the face masks since my daughter has acne and I have very sensitive skin however I can't say I'm a fan of these masks. When you first use them they're very tight around the face so there's no wearing lipstick or even a lip balm unless you want it to smear all over it and become very greasy and gross honestly, not only that but after wearing it for a few days it went from being tight but still wearable to being very loose and kinda just hanging on the face! Look no more! I am 55 and have tried many pillows. I came home from a trip in July 2019. I liked a pillow from the hotel and went on a search looking for it. Called the hotel found out who their supplier was. I had two choices on that website and I wasn't 100% sure which one it was that I had liked. The hotel had 3 kinds on the bed. The pillows were pricey but for a good pillow I was ok with it. I chatted with a customer service person about the two pillows I was interested in. I hoped they would say something that would let me know that 'one' pillow is the one I did like. What they said stopped me at least until I searched a little more. I made a mistake with my order (ordered a queen pillow with a secondary pillow case that was not queen sized). They questioned that and contacted me before the order went out. I am really happy with these satin pillowcases. They are super soft and nice and cool to lay on. I feel they are good quality. The pillowcases themselves are bigger than the pillows I own but that is okay by me (better big than too small!). Plus, they slide on and off easily. I have laundered mine and they held up fine. I tend to air dry my satin and silk bedding items so I cannot attest to how well they hold up in the dryer. But washing machine and air dried they are fine. These pillowcases look nice. Just received my second order! These pillowcases are AMAZING! I purchased primarily for me as I have long hair but my hubby can’t live without them either! I have Blissy pillowcases on all the beds in my house. I was an early adopter of these pillowcases and the first versions were a great silk material but shoddy construction. Also, the older versions had one color choice…white. Blissy has since improved the zippers, added more colors, stitched the logo on the pillow case, tightened the stitching, improved the finishing details and added a nice gift box. The silk has always been lovely. The current cases are nearly perfection. I buy them often. My hair stays cleaner longer. I don’t know what witchcraft (joking) they use but even my blowouts last 5-6 days without my hair ever looking dirty, greasy, frizzy or flat. The skin on my face is less dry. I fall asleep faster and wake up fewer times at night. I give a Blissy pillow cases to all of my friends, male and female. Everyone loves them. They are the all occasion and most welcome gift. I like that they are high moisture wicking and durable for all season use. I also like that they are made from organic cotton with open weave construction to allow air flow and there are no harmful substances used while manufacturing. Slept on them last night and they were very comfortable. I like that these are made using sustainable manufacturing and responsible farming. I can see me using these for a number of years and checking into buying more of them. I have very mixed feelings about this pillowcase. When opening the package I noticed a strong smell that was not pleasant. It was coming from the pillowcases and it was sort of like a chemical-ish smell, almost pungent. I figured it would come out in the wash which it did. No issue. I washed them on cold and hung them on the line to dry. The wrinkles were no joke! I mean wrinkles for days. If I were putting them on a guest bed they would DEFINTELY have to be ironed. Then there is how they feel. They are a little rough, but do get slightly softer in the wash. Sleeping on them is similar to the feel of linen. Not exactly smooth and silky but not exactly rough. I felt that on my pillow in my very air conditioned room they were a little bit cool to the touch and that was really nice. These pillow cases are a nice added touch to my bedroom and match perfectly with my existing sheets and pillow shams. I'm extremely happy with the look and quality. A little wrinkled upon opening but nothing my steam iron couldn't smooth out. Had no problem sliding over my pillows and it's definitely king size with a little overflow.
