20 Best Pizza Pan For Home Oven (Jan 2023 Update)

I have not bought the 8-inch round cake pan because, as usual, it is not available in store in the Round Rock, TX location. This is such a ridiculous thing since 8-inch cake pans are the most used for cake recipes (at least the hundreds I have reviewed and/or made) that it is unbelievable that it is not available…nor is it available at the next nearest BB&B location. I am sad that this is a most frequent situation with the Round Rock store. By the way, I have several other USA pans and they are very good products. I would recommend the USA products, unfortunately, I can't recommend the cake pans because I can't buy them.Kaye

I highly recommend all USA Pan products. I own 2 of these pizza pans and a USA Pan muffin pan. This pizza pan, with it's ridged texture, makes the perfect pizza crust. Crispy on the bottom. It really improves gluten free pizza crust which is tricky to make. And the surface washes easily. Don't cut on it or put it in the dishwasher and you'll have pan you'll love for a long time.Chris

My Mom first introduced me to USA Pan a few years ago by giving me a muffin pan. It is so much better than any other muffin pan I had ever owned. I never have to scrape gunk off or use liners; the muffins just fall right out! Since then, I have added the mini muffin pan and 2 different sizes of cookie/baking sheets to my collection and I greatly enjoy them all! I should add, I do often still spray the muffin pan with PAM or whatever, but it does seem to work fine without it, too. My baking sheet I don't spray with anything and haven't had any issues.Katie

I want to make a Chicago deep dish pizza, so I needed a good , deep pan. I went on line and found this one at Bed Bath& Beyond. It only took a few days to get and I love it ! The very first pizza turned out perfect thanks to this pan ! It's big, deep and nothing stuck to it. I was afraid that for the price I paid , it would not be a good , heavy pan……boy was I wrong ! I have only used this pan one time but, as the pan seems to be very sturdy, I doubt that I will have any significant problems in the future. The non-stick coating worked so well that the pizza needed to be only loosened in one or two small spots, and then it slipped right out. The label on the pan indicates that sharp utensils should not be used on this pan, so I slipped the pizza onto a flat pan in order to slice it. If you want a pan that you can slice in, this pan, or any other pan with non-stick coating, is not going to be the best choice. This is a sturdy pan, well-made, and I am very happy with it.VJVJ

Absolutely non stick! A great pan that I highly recommend. I am considering the Crisper Pizza pan as an additional purchase. I would also mention just in passing, that you sell a set of two of those for $29.99, and one pan alone at $11.49. I'm in love with this pan. It's nice and sturdy, and great for forming a circular pizza by hand stretching for a more tender crust than rolling one out makes. It's a perfect size to set on the table (on top of a pizza stone and rack) too so everyone can help themselves, and the handles make moving it, especially getting it in and out of the oven, a breeze.Michael

I was in the market for either a microwave or toaster oven for my (very) small kitchen and after an analysis of what is on the market, I decided to go with this small oven from Breville since it was on such a great sale. We have a small city kitchen with very limited counter space, and the Breville mini seemed a good bet. One question was, would we finally have a toaster oven that not only broiled and cooked, but also make decent toast so we could get rid of our backup toaster. The answer was a resounding yes?not only for bread, but also for bagels. It took us a little practice to get down the controls, but the clear directions made that a reasonably quick process. The only quibble we have, and it?s a small one, is that it would have been better, counter space-wise, if the front door opened up, rather than down.Susan

I love this mini toaster oven! Size doesn't overwhelm countertop space. The "little bit more" button is particularly charming and useful. I also like the labels at each rack level on the front. Smart! Must admit it took a little while to figure out the crumb tray inserts UNDER the DOOR from the outside. Might be nice to have a note about that in the instruction book.Jeanie

I've owned other pizza pans, some commercial, some from other competitors, and this one is in a different league. Nothing sticks to it. I like my pizzas thin, and well done, and so most pans end up with burnt cheese baked into them, and eventually it becomes harder and harder to get off. These pans… I've baked multiple pizzas one after the other, not cleaning the burnt cheese off in between, which would have ruined most other pans. This one… I let it cool off, and I've never had to even scrub them, push the 'baked on cheese' with your finger and it pops off. I've never had to use anything other than a soft sponge. Incredible. Now, I'm going to shift all of my other bake pans over from competitors to Le Crueset. I've been using their cast iron for years, now they have me on bakeware too.Tatman

once every couple of weeks we make pizza from scratch usually using old cookie trays. After listening to the frustration of scraping off the pizza crust from the pan, I finally decided to spring for two of these pans. Nothing but smiles as the pizza slides off the tray now. We do use corn meal under the dough still, but no more problems. Crispy crust and easy clean up. Very happy.J D Wa

We used this pan to make a bestilla (Moroccan filo pie) last weekend. You have to flip the fragile pastry over twice during assembly, once during baking and again when it's done. The dish gets quite heavy, but the pan didn't flex during the maneuver and the pie didn't stick. It impressed all of us and made an attractive serving platter.MichCats

I love making homemade pizzas, but my cheap, aluminum pan was not cutting it. Of course, I was worried about handling this very heavy pan. Well, it really wasn't a problem. The handles stick up above the pan so it's easy to grab from the oven. I thought I might need industrial strength pot holders, but my regular oven mitts worked fine. One of the best things about this pan is that it doesn't have any edge which makes it easy to work with. It was simple to spread the dough, it just glided over the surface (and 15" makes a good sized pizza). I baked entirely on the lowest rack. At first it looked as if the bottom wasn't going to bake, but in about 15-20 minutes the toppings and bottom turned a golden brown. Easy to cut (thanks to no edge). No sticking (Hurray!) It also retains its heat and keeps your pizza hot. Just be careful and keep the extra weight in mind when removing from the oven. Other than that, it was in every way easier to use than my aluminum pan. This makes a real restaurant quality thin crispy crust. I'm sure it would be great for biscuits or buns too.Trudy

I love pizza and am going to call this pan AWESOME! Handles on both sides big enough for actually holding make for easy transferring in and out of the oven. It's heavy as cast iron is but not unbearable to lift and transfer. The pan indicates it's already seasoned and instructions indicated no need to do a cure (oil, heat at 300-400 for 30 min, then shut off heat and leave to cool naturally for hours). I confess, a cast iron fan I seasoned it in a cure like this anyway but believe it would be fine without. Surface is slightly textured so don't think food would tend to stick like flat cast iron. Test drove it with a thin crust freezer pizza (see my picture). I put put the pizza on the pan (cool pan) and put in. Took a little longer to cook, 5-8 min more. Maybe should have preheated pan but instructions didn't really give advice here. Next time I'll preheat the pan like 20 min. It calls for light soap and water cleaning. I did VERY light soap and wiped it dry as I always do with cast iron. After dry, I put it on a burner on low for about 2 min and lightly rubbed oil on it for finish as I always do with cast iron but instructions didn't call for this. All in all, easy handling, heating and clean up.MidwestGuy

First off, at 15”, this thing is the perfect size for homemade pizza. Most of my pizzas come in around 10”-12”, but the extra space is nice for when I’m entertaining a larger group. Though it doesn’t sound like it, a 15” pie is more than twice as much food as a 10” crust. This is amply-sized for small or large pizzas. It also distributes heat evenly, as my IR-thermometer attests. On the grill, it really captures a lot of heat across the whole cooking surface. It’s a little too big for my coil-burner stove, but if you have a nice range, this would be great for that too. It fits nicely in the oven of course, and combined with a stainless steel bowl from Ikea, it makes a great sourdough cooker (seriously, it’s almost a perfect fit). The grill is the most important for me though, and it’s just the right size for mine (Weber Spirit E-310). It’s perfect for the depth of the grill, and leaves just enough space for good circulation on either side. Heat transfer is great, as you’d expect from cast iron. In fact, I learned after my first crust that I needed to adjust my time down a touch. After a quick adjustment, everything’s cooking quickly and evenly. I have only two minor quibbles so far. First, I’m having trouble getting it clean. The first cook left some material burnt on, and I’ve been unable to remove it with a lot of scrubbing, soap, Bar Keeper’s Friend, and a stainless steel chain mail cast iron cleaner. I’ll try oven cleaner next, though it doesn’t have a ton of impact to leave it on. I’d also appreciate if the handles were considerably wider. I can get a good grip now, but there’s plenty of room for them to have made oven mitt-sized handles. A wider grip seems safer to me, so that’s a design update I’d like to see. Overall though, this is really a well-made and versatile product. It will last a couple lifetimes with proper care, and it’s cheaper than stainless steel. Highly recommended.darwintologist

Unlike my pizza stone witch is now in a thousand pieces the pizza griddle heated evenly and the pizza came out perfect at the same temp as the stone cooked at. But the stone cooked unevenly where as the cast iron came out even and perfect. Not a fluke either as I have done three pizzas now with the same perfect results! This pizza pan is great for making pizza, also I have two and use them for making panini's (carefully ). Also it is good for reheating pizza. I also use it on the grill to roast veggies. Overall itt is inexpensive and versatile. I just wish they made a larger one.Joseph

I got this pan specifically for the Cauliflower brand pizza crusts, you have to pre bake them before use put the ingredients on, works great and the crust is crisp. So glad I found this pan and use it at least once a week if not more.flamingredhead4u-1

This is a great quality item, it has a firm, non-warping base, and it is non-stick. I even use it for cookies (though they end up having little bumps in the bottom) because it cooks nice and evenly. Recommended!aglaranna

This tray is a great addition for our cooking pans. My husband makes his own thin crust pizzas. We used to use a pizza tray that was solid without the holes. The pizza alot of times not cook as well.. The holes allow for thorough fast, evenly cooked crust along with the toppings. Since the tray is coated the food no longer sticks which allows the pizza to literally slide off the pan. Easy cleaning as well. This is also perfect for fries, baked potatoes, fish, and so on. We have not used it as of yet for baking cakes etc but it would be perfect for those as well. This tray is now the most used item in our kitchen when it comes to cooking. When I tried to roll out the dough I got holes all over the pizza. I added another Pillsbury pizza dough package to fill in the holes and to make it spread better. I prebaked the dough seven minutes at 400. Then added sauce and cheese and noticed after 40 minutes at 400 it still was doughy in the center. The top started over-browning but the dough stayed soggy. Not a good product for me. I wasted pizza dough, time and money. I am going back to my regular large round pizza pan. Maybe it is alright to put a frozen pizza on, but not to make one from scratch.Lee

I am really liking my new pizza pan. My family loves pizza and we make it often, both frozen and homemade. It's the perfect size for most large frozen pizzas and works great for smaller ones as well. The pizzas just slide right off and clean up is a breeze. We have also made homemade pizza and was also surprised this came out easily too, especially since homemade dough can be much stickier. I love the fact that this pan has a lifetime guarantee and is lightweight, yet sturdy. My family has also made frozen french fries, nuggets, fish sticks and so much more with this pan. Everything always comes out evenly cooked and perfect. The wider edges make it easy to grab when pulling it out of the oven which another plus. I really liked this pizza pan. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the pizza dose stick to the pan a little. It seems to cook faster than sitting it straight on the oven rack. Next time I use it I will put a little more cooking spray on it. It dose come clean very easily.Elizabeth72

I used to own an older Good Cook pizza pan that had a different surface. I read reviews and descriptions of current pizza pans that state pizza cooks quicker and more even. ALL TRUE. After I purchase this Good Cook pizza pan, I'm sure pizza pans are all the same, my pizza has been perfect every time. I have better pans of other brands, but this one is rather inexpensive (there is an exception from a large-box store that has a much better pan at a similar price to this one). However, the larger holes allow for melted cheese to escape down for my thin pizza (handmade, so the dough may have little holes). Not to mention bottom semolina. This is better suited for manufactured frozen pizza or other goods that do not spill out their contents (like cheese or sauce). I would recommend to a friend after inquiring what it will be used for.Frank

I followed the directions on the box. While the pizza rock was warming in the oven, I made my pizza on the countertop. Once I was almost done making it I realized, how the heck am I supposed get this heavy pizza onto the hot rock???? I flopped the pizza on, but the only way to get it on was to fold the pizza in half, then attempted to lay it flat again. It was kind of a pizza monster. After cooking, the pizza stuck to the rock so we used forks to pry the pizza off. It was a mess of pizza ingredients. It tasted good because pizza ingredients taste good. Though we’re definitely returning this worthless item.Pizza

I love it! Have used it three times with no issues. a lot of people mentioned a smell during preheating — I have to say I didn’t smell anything. I washed my stone and fully dried it prior to first use, like the instructions said, BUT I didn’t preheat the stone. No smells. Nothing funky. Instructions also say to add corn meal to the stone so your pizza doesn’t stick — this is a must!! Or flour. Otherwise it’ll be a mess.Val

Purchased as a gift and was very happy with the quality and price. I have a few baking stones I use and absolutly love them. It is critical to remember you cannot use detergent on these to clean. Super how water and a plastic scrapping tool is all you need.Dfrisco

Very very nice pan. Its basic cast iron but its a great size. I've been using it to make pizza on my outside grill and it doesn't stick and is very easy to clean. I just quickly wiped it off and dried it right away so no water was on it. I didn't need to season it or add any oil. Highly recommend if you're looking for a basic pizza pan or something to use on the grill.Nicole
