I have been using it for about 3 months now and have found that it really does even out my skin tone and gives me a very natural glow. Let me start by saying I’m the worlds biggest fan of La Roche Posay. My fiancé is a dermatologist, and we have a ton of their products all over the house. It’s the first brand I recommend to all of my friends, and I’d give every other product I’ve tried so far five stars. This one was just okay though. I like that it’s a velvety silicone type base, and spf 50 is a great amount of coverage for a product that isn’t an oily consistency. It feels great going on, but I found it didn’t stay matte. Within a couple hours, my makeup always ends up getting greasy, so I use this on makeup free days only— defeating the purpose of a makeup primer. I actually find that the anthelios 60 in the little bottle with the off centered tip provides a more matte and smooth makeup base. That or the daily antioxidant serum SPF (slightly more runny and less velvety, but great antioxidant ingredients) are my facial daily go to.Sunscreen Queen
The thickness and how it spreads is wonderful! I use it with my face creams in the a.m. However, getting any water or sweat on your face causes it to run into your eyes. I've tried it several times and each time within hours I've had to wash it off. It causes my eyes to burn and water like no other, I couldn't even drive without washing it off. It's very easy to use and glides well, it's got that going for it. I've tried not applying to the forehead or anywhere near the eyes. Used it for the first time today and I was pleasantly impressed. All the sunscreens I've used before would be so oily and greasy and leave my face looking too shiny, but not this one! It definitely does it's job as a primer, it left my skin looking very matte, so once I applied my foundation and concealer it turned out looking so natural and not cakey at all, and actually lasted throughout the whole day! I was even more impressed when I washed off my make up (I double cleanse) and my skin still looked matte and oil free. Some people might not like that, but it was good for me since I have oily skin. CONS: I applied sunscreen after using a serum, so it started peeling a little as I was applying it. I am assuming this product contains silicone (which would be understandable for a primer). It was a pretty easy fix, I used a make up brush to wipe off the sunscreen peels. Another con is that it is a chemical sunscreen, which means it's not coral reef friendly, so I would not suggest using this when swimming. If you are a true environmentalist, get yourself a physical sunscreen. This one still makes a perfect everyday sunscreen/primer. Last con, it is not water/sweat resistant. So now that we're able to take off our masks in most places/scenarios, it is now time for me to take care of the pool of grease sitting atop of my face. When I tell you if I don't wear primer, setting powder and setting spray, my face looks insane – please believe me lol. This was a purchase I needed to make and along with a good loose setting powder and mattifying setting spray, I was able to control the oil. By the end of the day, sure I may still be a tad bit *shimmery* in the t-zone, but this makes a huge improvement. Bonus: applying it feels luxurious. It has a fresh, natural scent and the texture isn't sticky (Hydro Grip feels sticky to me.) It's a product I look forward to putting on. I'm not really one for wearing a primer under my makeup, and hate the feel of most SPF50s as they can be quite thick and feel heavy. But I decided to give this a go as it's a 2in1, had great reviews and was a good price for the amount. I'm so glad I gave it a go, it's such a fantastic primer. The consistency is lovely, it's not too thick and heavy and it's not thin and runny either. It doesn't sit on the skin, it soaks in and makes your skin look more refreshed while also protecting it from the sun. I find this product is great for mattifying the face. A Prep/primer before foundation especially Bobbi Brown products. This works amazing with the 'skin long-wear' matte foundation. It is affordable. The Lancome UV expert Aquagel Defense 50+ sunscreen is truly my new favorite broad spectrum sunscreen. This sunscreen can be used as a primer and moisturizer. An added benefit is that it contains the antioxidant vitamin E. The formula is user friendly and easy to apply. The texture is lightweight with no greasy residue. Most sunscreens leave a white cast but not this one. The formula is a quick absorption and left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I wore it both on its own and underneath my makeup. My makeup applied easily over the top of it. The formula is perfect for all skin types-normal, dry, greasy and combination skin. I absolutely love the light sophisticated scent. The scent is lightly floral and very clean. It causes no skin irritation. I found that a little bit goes a long way. The tube was small but will last quite a long time. The only downside is the high price point for the small quantity that you get. The high quality and great performance truly makes up for the higher price though. This is my first official SPF/moisturizer/primer and I'm very glad it worked out in mine and my skin's favor. I had been gifted a sample size for my birthday two years ago and felt like my skin was in a good place to try a new product (it was sample size, after all). I tried it for a week and instantly noticed a difference in my skin. It felt softer and smoothed out the surface layer of my ice pick scars, my cheeks felt plumper and less dull, and my entire face had a dewy natural glow to it. I received a deluxe sample of #Lancome UV Expert Sunscreen in a GWP. It’s the first facial sunscreen I’ve ever actually liked! I’ve used for the last 5 days or so (just a little covers my entire face)—no clogged pores, no breakouts, no gross smell, no oily feeling after application.. I haven’t found a single negative for this product. The tube says it acts as a primer and moisturizer; I haven’t tested that, I do use a face primer after putting this on. It doesn’t really have much of a scent and effectively protects my skin from sunlight. I appreciate that, as my skin burns easily and most sunscreens leave my face oily and gross-feeling. Not this one. Another bonus is the fact that this sunscreen hasn’t caused irritation. My skin has been incredibly sensitive and inconsistent with a lot of products recently (stress and cold, dry weather have done a number on my face) but this sunscreen has not been one of the products to irritate it at all. I don’t know it’s price point but with as little as I have to use to protect my face, I’d be willing to pay it. This little .33fl oz tube has lasted 5-6 days and still has life in it. This is fantastic, if you are pale. I'm a redhead with very sensitive eyes, and a tendency towards acne from irritation. I normally hate sunscreens. However, when I wear this, my mascara doesn't smudge. This does have a mild white cast. The filters are mostly zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. It smells for a few minutes when you first apply it, but then it's fine. The spf really works. It has protected me from burns, for hours at a time. (I could see the demarcation line on my neck–where this was applied, I didn't burn.) It also doesn't cause breakouts. It's easy to remove with a double cleanse. This is a wonderful product.Lisa
This stuff is amazing. You wash you dry you moisturize you put this on put your make up on and then you don't worry about anything for the rest of the day. I have absolutely no complaints. I bought this because I needed something light-weight that provided sun protection and something that didn’t feel heavy. I do enjoy the product so far (I’ve been using for about a month). I bought tinted but I don’t see much change but haven’t tried the other for comparison. My complexion is t-zone oily skin and mild rosacea on my cheeks. Very good coverage and it sort or… erases your pores!!! So I love it for that reason. However the texture of it is pretty dense and heavy so it’s hard to put on and it takes a lot of cream to cover the whole face. Also the color does not match my skin and it is pretty strong, it does not just “disappear” on skin / blend in like most tinted moisturizers. It sits on skin more like foundation, so I have to be careful to blend it well. Overall, some good potential but I prefer the old (discontinued) tinted moisturizer. I was looking for a primer which held my makeup in place, but wasn't either super shiny and glittery or super flat. Tried this one pretty much randomly, I'd never used Nars products before and LOVED it. There's no coverage to it in terms of colour (which is what I wanted), but it gives you a nice healthy kind of sheen – it's not sparkly or glittery and just looks very natural and healthy. Makeup goes on brilliantly after using it and lasts the whole day. I think its also wearable on its own for no makeup days – there's no coverage, but it makes you look a healthy glowy kind of makeup free, as opposed to an exhausted one in my case.Jenn
Words cannot properly describe how in love I am with this product. This is the only primer that has ever given me genuinely all day lasting matte skin. Go ahead and read that last line again. All day matte. It's a thick creamy consistency with these little gritty substance in there. Once you rub it in obviously you can't see anything, but there's magic going on. I've used this on bare skin, with BB creams, Foundation ranging from sheer -medium – full coverage both liquid and powder, I tried this with absolutely everything I can think of. I put it into situations where I want to see it fail, and it did not. Ok you guys, seriously this is super moisturizing and it has spf already in it. If you know me then you know I love products that can do multiple things. I used this primer and then put the makeup forever powder Y235 over it and it was amazing. It looked airbrushed. The glow still showed through and the powder did not look drying at all. I would say this is pricey and some people will not like how moisturizing it is if they like matte primers. This is a great option for any matte foundation or matte powder.sandra.p

I finally took the plunge and ordered this product and the Tula Cult Classic face cleanser. I officially am sold on Tula products and this one in particular is my favorite! I will never buy another brand primer! At 31 years old I am noticing my skin is not as firm and supple as it used to be, my pores are more noticeable and I am starting to get the fine lines in my laugh lines. I have tried numerous primers before from drug store to Ulta Brand to The POREfessional and none of them have wowed me like this Tula primer. This is a tinted primer that is activated when applied to your skin. It matches perfectly with my skin without even looking like I put a colored product on my face. It is so lightweight, my pores are now invisible, makes my makeup last all day, and makes my skin feel so soft and nourished. I have not been using it long enough to see the results it claims to have but I whole heartedly believe I will with consistent use. Game changing primer! This was suggested to me by a store associate while at Ulta and it blew me away. First, it is really is "blurring", it completely smooths and evens my pores upon application. It is also slightly tinted but the tint comes from the primer adjusting to your skin tone as you put it on, so versatile! As someone who has to switch foundations between seasons, it is really great to have a primer to works for all seasons but still has a tint. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth, but it still very lightweight! Sometimes I wear it just on it's own when I am having a good skin day and don't want to bother with foundation. My pores clog easily and result in blemishes quickly, especially with primers which tend to be oily/heavy but not tula! Highly recommend this primer!!jasmine.l
I purchased this product because I was in the market for a tinted moisturizer and have never tried any before, this was too good of a deal to pass up without at least trying. For reference, I have the most porcelain skin I have ever seen in my life so nearly everything that I purchase is too dark or turns orange on my skin. I have two tried and true foundations, one from Smashbox and the other from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I have a dry combination skin type for reference. I wanted to love this product and it was promising at first but within the first few minutes, it was already oxidizing on my skin. It oxidized so bad that I had an entirely different color on my face than my hairline or the rest of my body. It looked as if I had gotten a bad spray tan. It also made my super dry skin feel heavy, clogged, and oily. I will also add, that I have contact dermatitis which is a form of eczema in which I have very sensitive skin and can only use certain soaps and cosmetics but had heard many good things about Tula. Unfortunately, this product also made my face start burning, similar feeling to a sunburn, when it was on my skin and I washed it off immediately. I know that I am not the norm for cosmetic buyers but in case someone out there has a similar skin type, I wanted to share my experience.Malorie

For reference, I wear makeup on an everyday basis and I like a primer that serves a purpose; it needs to be smoothing/pore-filling, illuminating, make my makeup last longer, etc. Something. I have different primers to serve these various purposes and there's definitely some crossover in function. The Pur 4-in-1 Correcting Primer sounded like a winner but this is one of the most pointless "primers" that I've tried because it doesn't do ANYTHING to enhance my makeup experience. It doesn't smooth, isn't illuminating, definitely doesn't make my makeup last any longer, and it really isn't very hydrating. I got a sample of this in my recent Ulta order (as part of the free gift) and tried it yesterday – holy cow! Lots to say. First off I have very sensitive skin that breaks out whenever I try something new and this did not irritate my skin whatsoever. Secondly the coconut scent is amazing but not too overpowering. Thirdly it's SO smooth and my makeup applied flawlessly and lasted all day! I've only ever used gripping primers before so I wasn't sure how this would work but everything stayed in place for about 12 hours – and I work in a warehouse where I run around (literally) a lot, and yesterday I was on the move all day putting up boxes and sweating – but my makeup didn't budge! I received this product for free from Topbox and Pur in exchange for my honest opinion. My first impression upon opening the box was WOW – just look at that packaging! It truly was going to be the most beautiful thing on my makeup shelf! When I first applied it to my skin, I was instantly shocked at how much it felt like a moisturiser, rather than a primer! The formula is creamy and applies just as a moisturiser does. You even need to leave it for a while for the skin to absorb the product, and even then you are left with a dewy complexion! This was instantly very different to my usual primers that create a blurring effect with a matte finish! I was also shocked that the packaging instructs you to apply this formula over a moisturiser, as it seems this is more what the product was! (However, it also states on the website that it can be applied before bed!) It really is combining skincare and makeup! As this is advertised as a primer, I wanted to try it with makeup on top to see the finished look and unfortunately I was very disappointed! I have a trustworthy foundation that I always use, but it was not friends with this primer! The foundation would not blend properly around my chin and nose and I was left with streaks and patchy marks! I'm not really sure I understand how this product is working as a primer! This primer is brilliant and I highly recommend it. Why? Firstly there's the added benefit of a high SPF which is necessary when you use retinol. Secondly, there's no roll off. So many primers can roll off or ball especially if you add an oil to your skincare regime in the morning. This applies really easily without this happening although I wouldn't say it gave a flawless finish. The delivery system could be improved as getting the last bit of product out is difficult. That said, I'm onto my 2nd tube of this and it's in a handbag friendly tube for top ups when necessary. If you value your skin, don't hesitate to buy this.Edinburgh Mama
I really like this primer. Very light weight and absorb well. Haven’t tried it as primer for under makeup yet but since it has high UV protection 50 spf and has tinted color, I have been using it alone as a sunscreen. I have no breakout from it after couple of use! It is vegan and cruel-free so it’s a plus for anyone that cares. It has vitamin C and E for brighten skin and hyaluronic acid, so it is very hydrating. My skin is very dry and easily gets cakey or flaky if the products are not hydrating enough but it is not the case with this primer. I love it. Definitely a repurchase one. I took a star off due to the open cap. I don’t like that type of pushing cap. I feel like the leftover product will clog the opening over time.tram.d

I am absolutely obsessed, I have acne prone combo skin and breakout regularly . My skin is very sensitive and I NEED sunscreen whenever I leave the house. It’s incredibly hard to find an spf that doesn’t get greasy or break me out or irritate my skin, I have the same issue with primers most of the time . This product is literally the best spf primer I’ve ever used, doesn’t leave a white cast or feel greasy on the skin. Doesn’t break me out, and has plenty of spf for regular wear. A decent primer. I wear this without wearing foundation. I just add some bronzer and concealer from the same brand on top and I am good to go. It is not greasy. It is not dry either. Purchased this product as an every day primer and I absolutely love it. I have been using it for about 3 months now and have found that it really does even out my skin tone and gives me a very natural glow. During the week, I wear it under my makeup to work and it makes it so that my skin looks healthy and glowing, even in the winter. I will say that it does start to look slightly oily by the end of the night, so beware of that if you don't have dry skin. On the weekends, I'll just put this on by itself with a touch of mascara and under eye concealer for a super light makeup look and it is just perfect for making me feel put together for errands or chores around the house without having to do a full face of makeup.Rene

I bought this because I needed something light-weight that provided sun protection and something that didn’t feel heavy. I do enjoy the product so far (I’ve been using for about a month). I bought tinted but I don’t see much change but haven’t tried the other for comparison. My complexion is t-zone oily skin and mild rosacea on my cheeks. This doesn’t aggravate my skin and this, along with my moisturizer and serum, give my skin enough hydration that it doesn’t need to overproduce excess oil. I use this product alone for light coverage similar to a BB cream. I love how it instantly matches my skin tone (takes out the guess work!) and comes with a tool to ensure you get every last bit. It also leaves my skin with a nice glow. I have nothing bad to say about this product! It lasts forever too because a little go along way. Very good coverage and it sort or… erases your pores!!! So I love it for that reason. However the texture of it is pretty dense and heavy so it’s hard to put on and it takes a lot of cream to cover the whole face. Also the color does not match my skin and it is pretty strong, it does not just “disappear” on skin / blend in like most tinted moisturizers. It sits on skin more like foundation, so I have to be careful to blend it well. Overall, some good potential but I prefer the old (discontinued) tinted moisturizer. I’ve replaced it with Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer at this point, unfortunately, as this product didn’t quite do it for me (though it shows so much potential in terms of making your pores disappear!!!).Oksana K.

Sometimes pump clogs and product squirts out sideways. Sometimes pump stops working and you have to take a hammer to the bottle to get at what's left inside. Bottle looks almost exactly like texture and wrinkle repair; you have to be careful when you are packing for a trip not to mistake one for the other:-( A simple, flexible plastic tube would be so much better for this sunscreen, which I love.Sue T.

I saw absolutely no difference when I used this primer. I have dry mature skin and this product did nothing noticeable. I found it to be a little bit on the sticky side and my foundation was not smooth at all. There is no reason for me to even use it as the results were as if I didn't use any primer. As I mentioned my skin is extremely dry and usually absorbs everything, except for this product. It stayed on the surface of my skin. TIK TOK made my buy it! First off, this primer smells amazing!! super sweet and gives a cute pink tint color! So many people were hyping it and it sold out all online in Ulta in stores so i got the mini sized instead! I have a love/hate with the primer because yes it works decently.. it just didn’t fully meet my expectation because of all its claims. It’s supposed to soften, smoothed, hydrate, extends makeup wear for 16 hr, even tones, keeps makeup fresh, blurs lines, minimize texture, smoothes, and adds a soft focus. Majority of that is true like it does smoothes, sort of blurs, minimize textures and smoothes out the skin.. but that’s about it. Doesn’t extend the wear of my makeup, my lines still creased, and didn’t keep it fresh since my face got oily still.. just too much claims on it, but is still a good primer! I ordered this before I realized it had gone viral, and I'm so glad I got my hands on it before it got harder to find online. My skin is temperamental, no severe issues but a little bit of everything. Combination, big pores, fine lines, texture. I've been using this on top of my regular skincare (toner, moisturizer, SPF) and under light makeup (BB cream, powder, brows) and I love the effect. My skin is smoother in a very natural way and it doesn't look or feel like spackle. On the aesthetic side, the pump is cute and it smells very nice. It applies like a moisturizer, makeup goes on smoothly on top, and it wears well; everything still looks nice by evening. I'll probably try it with fuller coverage eventually, but I'm very happy to report that it fits with a more casual face of makeup, since that's what I typically wear. Almost $20 for a NYX product feels like a lot; I like the brand but they've always been so affordable that the pricetag surprised me. I am new to primer and wasn’t sure what to expect but it has quickly turned into a daily must for me. I love a natural look and don’t always wear make up, so I love that I can opt for using this primer alone when I was more than just moisturizer but not in the mood for full make up. It subtly smooths my fine lines and pores for a fresh complexion that looks like my skin with a bit of a filter. It’s also great under both liquid and mineral foundation. I love that it is versatile and wears well on my skin for any look I’m into any given day. This will be my go to from now on. I received this sample to review as I was in the market for a primer. Absolutely love it! It glides on the skin like silk. Your foudation application is smoother than without the primer. As I have been suing everyday since .. I did the makeup without the primer one day and noticed a difference. I use it everyday prior to my mornign makeup but not at night. What bI love mosr is the primer plus a serum in one product . And it is affordable . Too many times you try a product but cannot afford to buy again to incorporate in your daily routine. Dont expect miracles as it is not a miracle cure, but if you are looking for a greeat afforable addition to your makeup routine. this is a great choice! I love love love the Loreal age perfection blurring face primer!! It will always be my go to for blurring effect!! It does a fabulous job ! I’m 53 my face has always had a beautiful complexion but as i have aged i have noticed an increase of pore size and redness. This does a fabulous job covering pores ! Blurs the red some but it does give a great complexion. Of course minus the wrinkles~ which the only thing to fix those is needle work lol !! Or knife work😂 anyways love this product !!!jessica

I’m a strong believer in utilizing a brand’s primer with their foundation, especially when they are formulated to work together. If you try a new foundation and your results are completely different from most users, check the primer. There are many different primers that all target different areas. If your foundation is super matte, adding an equally mattifying primer of a different brand could negatively affect the texture and overall formula of the foundation. I’m not saying you should never mix and match, it just requires some trial and error. The Soft Matte Pro Filt’R Primer however, takes the guess work out of my Fenty 400 foundation application. I instantly notice a difference in the finish if I don’t use the primer. The primer has a soft light scent, is super moisturizing and allows the foundation to effortlessly glide over my pores. I’ve always been an oily mess. Despite medications, matte primers, using other tricks like layering powder under my foundation…I always end up looking smeared. I tried this primer and the instant retouch in trial size. This mattifying primer kept the oil at bay even when faced with the Caribbean (and NYC) sun and heat! Now, of course, I may have a glow throughout the day and I still use blotting papers – but instead of 10, I may use 1-2. The primer isn’t sticky nor does it cake or ball up. This primer really helps absorb the excess oil in my T-zone. I think it does a good job of making sure I don't get too shiny, which has caused my makeup to smear, crease, and get cakey in the past (all in my T-zone of course). I have huge pores on my nose and cheeks, and this primer helps blur them. I like the light, smooth texture and the smell, too. You also don't even need to use a whole lot of it for it to be effective (especially if you also use the Pro Filt'r foundation like me). This is definitely one of the best mattifying primers I've ever used. I like it better than Smashbox's oil control primer. Not only is this one less expensive, it works better! I love this primer. It does such a great job of being a soothing hydrating primer that blurs pores and protects my skin. I'd buy it again and again. It works with all my foundations, and looks nice! It looks a little white at first even on my Snow White skin, but seems to disappear when rubbed in after a minute or two. Smell? Not really. It's not perfumed, so it has a natural kind of smell that disappears. Nothing awful, nothing pleasant. Personally I don't want fragrance on my face. BUT. The pump. Oh boy. I have managed to get this stuff in a curtain, a wall, carpet because it squirts out in every direction! I have tried cupping my hand… a product should not be this hard to actually get out of the bottle! I ALMOST bought a second bottle, but I can't bring myself to. I'm not sure how other people are applying this primer but I personally love this! I use this as the last step of my morning skin care routine. Personally, I have combination/oily skin so I found this to have a matte finish while also adding sunscreen protection. Very layer-able. I usually start with a serum, a moisturizer and then add this on top and then start my makeup routine. My make up always looks flawless and I love how light and the extra moisture this adds. As for scent… I never noticed anything so I am not sure why people are saying there's an order? It hardly has a smell. I love this brand and this one of my favorite products!Marissa
I had been hesitant to order this when it first came out, but luckily received in the summer beauty subscription box so I was very eager to try. Usually with SPF made with Zinc Oxide, the darker the skin tone applied to, the more likely I am to definitely see white residue, and they can end up being heavy, made even more so by needing to add more foundation than usual to cover the white sheen. With this primer, I apply after using the Milk Drops, just one pump after shaking is enough for my whole face. It goes on so smooth and light and after a few minutes I definitely see the mattifying and blurring effects, and more importantly- NO WHITE RESIDUE. Most days this is my last step in my morning routine, no extra moisturizer. My face looks natural and healthy even without applying any make-up and I find I do not breakout into an oil slick throughout the day. When applying make up with this product, I wait at least 5 minutes to ensure it is completely absorbed and my skin is dry. I find use much less make-up product with a bigger coverage/color payoff, makeup just goes on smooth and easily, but I honestly prefer using this on days I’m not wearing makeup since most of my foundations have an SPF and this product makes my skin look so good without anything extra.Shel

Let me start by saying I’m the worlds biggest fan of La Roche Posay. My fiancé is a dermatologist, and we have a ton of their products all over the house. It’s the first brand I recommend to all of my friends, and I’d give every other product I’ve tried so far five stars. This one was just okay though. I like that it’s a velvety silicone type base, and spf 50 is a great amount of coverage for a product that isn’t an oily consistency. It feels great going on, but I found it didn’t stay matte. Within a couple hours, my makeup always ends up getting greasy, so I use this on makeup free days only— defeating the purpose of a makeup primer. I actually find that the anthelios 60 in the little bottle with the off centered tip provides a more matte and smooth makeup base. That or the daily antioxidant serum SPF (slightly more runny and less velvety, but great antioxidant ingredients) are my facial daily go to.Sunscreen Queen
The thickness and how it spreads is wonderful! I use it with my face creams in the a.m. However, getting any water or sweat on your face causes it to run into your eyes. I've tried it several times and each time within hours I've had to wash it off. It causes my eyes to burn and water like no other, I couldn't even drive without washing it off. It's very easy to use and glides well, it's got that going for it. I've tried not applying to the forehead or anywhere near the eyes. Used it for the first time today and I was pleasantly impressed. All the sunscreens I've used before would be so oily and greasy and leave my face looking too shiny, but not this one! It definitely does it's job as a primer, it left my skin looking very matte, so once I applied my foundation and concealer it turned out looking so natural and not cakey at all, and actually lasted throughout the whole day! I was even more impressed when I washed off my make up (I double cleanse) and my skin still looked matte and oil free. Some people might not like that, but it was good for me since I have oily skin. CONS: I applied sunscreen after using a serum, so it started peeling a little as I was applying it. I am assuming this product contains silicone (which would be understandable for a primer). It was a pretty easy fix, I used a make up brush to wipe off the sunscreen peels. Another con is that it is a chemical sunscreen, which means it's not coral reef friendly, so I would not suggest using this when swimming. If you are a true environmentalist, get yourself a physical sunscreen. This one still makes a perfect everyday sunscreen/primer. Last con, it is not water/sweat resistant. Overall, Do not get this sunscreen if you wanna use it when going to the beach, it's primarily designed for make up purposes. Hope this helps 🙂Jina

I have tried all kinds of primers, high end, drugstore, etc. One of my favorites is the Bobbi Brown one. Lately I hadn't been satisfied with my makeup. Something just didn't look right. Well I tried this under the Lisa Eldridge Foundation and omg it looked so beautiful. At first application it looks like a lotion but it absorbs so quickly, leaving behind a radiant finish, that once it sets, it feels like velvet skin. My face makeup hasn't looked this good in a long time. I also tried this underneath the Missha BB, Pat Mcgrath and the Purito BB cream. All times it looked beautiful. I will probably buy a few to have as backups, I hope Nyx keeps this around for a whilegiovanna.a
Bought this on a whim but SO glad I did! I typically wear this when I know I’ll be in the sun because I haven’t found a sunscreen I like yet. Some days I get lazy with my skin routine and just using this after applying some Hyaluronic serum which works great! When I consistently use it I find my skin is less textured and more clear. I typically use two pumps so I can also rub it into my neck and I think I’ve been on the same bottle for a few months now. I’m barely looking to buy another, a bit goes a long way! My skin is sensitive combination (leaning toward dry) and my reasons for purchasing are preventing aging/sun damage and nicer looking makeup. For me, the pros outweigh the cons, and overall I'm pretty happy with this primer. Pros: I love that it moisturizes, primes, and protects my skin from sun damage at the same time. It's lightweight, not greasy, and doesn't leave a white cast. My makeup looks nice over it. I recently started chemical exfoliation so this gives me some peace of mind about photosensitivity. Cons: It stings my eyes, like a whole lot – so much that I may buy an additional mineral sunscreen just for my eye area. You definitely have to wait for your skincare products to fully sink in before applying this primer, then wait an additional 15-25 minutes after applying this to move on to makeup or else it pills badly. I wish it was a higher SPF since most professionals recommend 50+ when using chemical exfoliants, but I get around this by using a higher SPF setting spray as well. Even though my makeup looks nice over this, I can't tell that it makes it last longer or prevents it from settling in my fine lines by the end of the day. If I found something similar that addressed all the cons I'd happily pay double, but for the price and all the pros that come with it, I'll be buying this until then!Taylor
