20 Best Product To Air Dry Hair (Feb 2023 Update)

At first this seemed like it was gonna be a good product. The product was soft and airy and wasn't thick and sticky at all. However I felt myself having to get so much product out because as I put it in my hair it seemed like it was just dissipating. It breaks down very easily in water so putting it on wet/damp hair is counterintuitive. Once my hair dried it's like I didn't put anything on at all. Very disappointed. I had to put another product on my ends in order to keep the frizz down even though I just wanted to stay at 1 product.Erika

I was hesitant to try a brand new R+CO product, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. I've been using Cool Wind for a little over a week. I have other R+CO products (Bel Air shampoo and conditioner — I exclusively wash my hair with Bel Air; High Dive; Centerpiece) and I love them, but I usually use High Dive or Centerpiece when I blow dry/straighten my hair, which is pretty infrequently. High Dive just doesn't really work well for me when I air dry my wavy hair (which is most days). But Cool Wind does the job. My hair is a few inches past my shoulders and I use a pea size amount on the top of my hair near my roots and another pea sized amount through the length/ends. My waves dry really nicely and it certainly reduces the amount of fizziness you inevitably get from air drying. Like other R+CO products, a little goes a long way. I love it and I think it makes my natural waves look somewhat more polished, but still effortless. Cool Wind is exactly what I wanted it to be and I already know I'll be reordering.Lauren

I never use heat-styling tools on my hair, but my natural wash-and-go result is pretty frizzy and dry. So leave-in conditioners and light-hold styling products are a must. I have very sensitive, reactive skin, so I have to be careful what I put in my hair because it touches my face and neck. This is probably my new favourite hair product. I’ve used R+CO’s other air dry creams and really liked both of them, but this new one leaves me with by far the best results. The scent is a little strong and sort of like a men’s cologne, but it fades once your hair dries. My hair dries into beautiful soft waves with this product, no frizz whatsoever. This product is honestly amazing. I had a travel version and I loved it so much that i needed the full size. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. I have super thick hair, but one full pump, and a quick blow dry and my hair looks like I just got out of the salon. I’ve been using moroccanoil blow dry concentrate for YEARS! It truly works wonders on my hair! Also, this might seem odd, but it also makes my fingertips moisturized just by applying this to my fingers to get it into my hair. I really struggle to find hair products I like of any kind (shampoo, conditioner, leave in, etc.) but this really saved my hair and made it look so healthy and shiny after blowdrying. Lately, I've been very frustrated with dull, frizzy and dry hair even after blowdrying and trying to make it look nice. I've always been the type of girl to leave my hair naturally or use a straightener and when I bought the revlon blow dry brush I knew I needed a heat protectant to ease damage on my hair. FIRST, this product smells amazing and SECOND after I'm done blow drying my hair my hair is shinny, soft, smells good and it make the heat damage disappear. Sometimes I don't even need a pomeade or hair oil after because the product it self kind of gives you a shield for the baby hairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're looking into a heat protectant. Unfortunately, I bought this & the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly because of the “build-up free” claim. I genuinely cannot understand how Curlsmith can make this claim. I love some of their other products, but this combination is 100% not build-up free. I used a clarifying shampoo, rinsed my conditioner out well with a scalp massager, and used only these two products. I do not have dry scalp (no products = zero flaking) and I do not have dandruff. However, with these two products applied according to their directions…. Massive build-up. I seriously do not understand. I don’t plop, so these products do not sit on my scalp. For reference, my hair is a mix of 2b, 2c, and 3a curl patterns. I've literally tried dozens of curl creams and mousses and they all either made my hair look flat at the root, feel dirty, or simply just didn't work. This curl product was purchased on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It enhances your natural curl pattern without making them appear to look curlier. It's light and makes your hair look so so soft and touchable. It doesn't have a heavy scent it just smells like a clean shampoo or conditioner in my opinion. A little goes a long way, however it's one of those products where you can accidentally use too much and it won't weigh your hair down. If you want a tighter hold you may want to consider using a gel with it, but I find that the product stands alone quite well. I see myself repurchasing this again and again.dia

I purchased the co-wash and the air dry cream. I have been on a journey for the right hair care products. I have wavy thin hair that has alot of frizz. I have tried ALOT of products! I used the co-wash and I felt like it didn't give enough conditioning, but I figured let's see the end result. I applied the air dry cream which seemed heavy at first for my hair then I applied alil oil (not from curlsmith) just on my ends. I went to sleep. I woke up to dry hair and CURLS!!! SOFT BOUNCY CURLS…it has been a long time since I have wore my hair wavy/curly because I couldn't find the right products. I was so happy with the end result and my curls lasted 2 days and no frizz. I then went to ulta and purchased several of the curlsmith products. FYI the air dry cream does seem heavy if u have fine/thin hair but alil goes a very long way. For the longest time now I have been struggling to find something to make my hair smooth. I live in Georgia and have medium thickness, long, straight hair. The humidity is always crazy and I always have a ton of frizziness and flyaways. This spray is an absolute miracle! My hair is soooo silky and smoothed down without feeling greasy or heavy. I wasn't modest with using it, either. I sprayed it all over my head. My hair also typically takes forever to dry and this literally cut it down to 10 minutes. I use this in place of/as if it's a hair oil/serum and it works better than any hair oil I've tried, and I've just about tried them all. This feels more moisturizing, repairing, smoothing and detangling than all of them, but it's also lighter and doesn't leave residue as long as you don't use way too much, whereas most hair oils either don't do enough, or if I use enough to get the benefits it leaves residue and weighs my hair down-there's no "sweet spot" middle ground. Some even do the latter without doing the former! But this stuff just leaves my hair soft, shiny, smooth and detangled without heaviness, residue, or oiliness. I can and do it it wet and dry, and when used on wet hair it cuts drying time down at least by half. The only thing is because my hair is on the fine side, I never spray it directly in my hair when using on dry hair (on wet hair sometimes I do sometimes I don't, it depends on much moisture my hair feels it needs) as it can get a little oily looking when I do so. Instead, I spray it directly in the palm of my hand, rub it in my hands and then run it through my hair, just like a regular hair oil/serum. Most oils and serums make my hair feel like it has a plastic coating left on it, even if I don't use too much and often without even leaving it feeling moisturized and soft under said coating-sometimes it even feels more dry (but still coated)! But this always just leaves my hair super soft and shiny, never coated, always clean! I also love that unlike the vast majority of hair oils, this is clear and doesn't stain your hair if it's light. A little also goes a long way and I feel like my bottle will last for ages, making it an excellent value since it's already considerably cheaper than many pro hair oils. Last thing- although this product is amazing for blow drying-don't let the name fool you! It is JUST as good for air drying and for use on already dry hair! in fact, those are the two ways in which I primarily use it since I rarely blow dry my hair. I've seen/heard this product be highly recommended throughout the internet and by both hair professionals and consumers alike for over a decade now and I completely understand why now. If this is too heavy for you, then try the Platinum Blow-Dry Mist instead of the spray. It goes on lighter. I've used both and honestly they both work for me, I tend to prefer stronger stuff, lol. Kenra has many choices for this type of product if you look over their line you can find something for your hair type. This one gets the most hype. It's multi purpose, I spray a small amount, not overdo it. I'm not crazy about the smell like many users here but I don't mind it. If I don't use too much the scent is not overpowering. This acts as a styling aid, heat protectant, cuts blow dry time and also I never need any hair smoothing oil afterwards like the bio silk, etc. which saves money. I had frizz damage on the strands of my hair from heat styling and using a curling iron. The curling iron smooths it but then causes more heat damage and it was a vicious cycle for years. But now my hair is all growing out, back to my normal straight/wavy smooth hair of my youth, thanks to not having to use the blow dryer as long or the curling iron. I use that revlon brush dryer now. Also sometimes a Bio ionic curling iron. Low heat setting. Still getting partial highlights with the Olaplex.Nena

So great for an easy, not frizzy, air dry. I have fine, ample, wavy hair. I put about a nickel sized amount (after using my Miracle leave in conditioner), work it in, and scrunch with my hands, which I also do a time or two while it's drying. It really cuts down on the frizz, makes your hair shiny, and doesn't make your hair greasy or heavy at all. I'm product averse, as many weigh down my waves, but you can't even feel this after it dries. On days two and three, I rub the tiniest amount into my fingertips and scrunch my dry hair, which is all I need to do. I'm on my second tube and have been buying it as gifts. I have very fine, flat hair but I have a lot of it so it takes forever to dry. My hair is lightly wavy naturally and very frizzy. I haven't noticed a decreased drying time. My hair takes 3 hours to dry typically and if it did cut down on drying time it wasn't noticeable. I put way more than the recommended amount in my hair and it never feels crunchy or weighs it down which is a huge plus. I rake it through base to ends and then scrunch and twist in the front and on my random pieces that dry stick straight. This helps my waves look a little more shaped (not a dramatic amount) but it thickens my hair up and makes it appear a little more voluminous. I think it just makes my air dry natural look appear more on purpose then sloppy like it can without the product. Also helps with frizz a bit. I've been air-drying my hair exclusively for years and I can't believe what a difference the Platinum Air Dry Crème makes in my hair!! I've always just washed, conditioned my midlengths-to-ends, dried with a hair towel and thrown my long hair into a bun to finish drying. My fine, straight hair is healthy, but it's never as shiny or glossy as it is after a trim and blowout. It frizzes up or slicks against my head if there is any static or humidity, and if I have any split ends it looks 100x worse. After looking for solutions online, I (finally) discovered "prep" products for air-drying: creams and lotions and sprays made for anyone protecting their hair from heat (or people like me who are too lazy to blow dry and style^^) but still want glossy, shiny, frizz-free hair. This is the top-rated air-dry prep product on Ulta, so I bought it on strength of reviews by people with all different hair types. I was really excited by the prospect of reduced drying time, too. I guessed the amount needed for my (again, fine, but dense) mid-back length hair. After towel-drying my hair, I rubbed a quarter-sized dollop in my hands and ran them through my hair from roots to ends and combed to disperse with a wide-toothed comb. Without the Platinum Air Dry Crème, my hair takes hours to dry-usually overnight-when it's in a bun. Using the Crème, it starts drying faster as soon as I've combed it through. The first time I used it, I took my bun out after four hours and had beautiful, glossy, frizz-free waves. It makes your hair so soft and shiny! My hair still looked great the next day (after sleeping in a bun w/a silk scrunchie), too. I accidentally bought a knock off of the blow-dry spray and decided to buy the real stuff but this time I bought the blow-dry mist for fine hair. This was so heavy on my hair, too oily and waxy. Finally a product that does what it promises! I have fine hair (a lot of it with a lot of body) that has a tendency to frizz around the face area. I ADORE the smell. It is very beachy / coconut, lasts all day. This product is GREAT for heat protection and shine / detangling. However, I have thin / fine hair and this is way too greasy / oily. I spray it far enough from my head and use very little product but it is still too oily and sadly makes my hair stringy. Skeptical but wow! I bought this place product and immediately after reading the reviews of people saying it made their hair sticky and straw like I thought I just wasted $30. I read the reviews of people who loved it and took their tips on what worked for them. I let my hair dry to about 40% dry and then I put the product in (2 pumps for my long hair) I have found little is more! And then I put it through the middle of my hair to the ends and then I brush through it for about a minute to ensure equal distribution. I then let the product sit in my hair for a couple minutes to fully absorb and then it’s drying time. I use my Revlon dryer brush and it took me about 5 minutes to do a beautiful salon like blowout. This is one of those products that can be terrible if not used properly but a great product when used correctly.macibradley1

I received a sample of this product in a gwp from Ulta. I used it for the first time yesterday and hated it so much, it went into the trash can this morning. My hair is normal/fine and highlighted, but usually feels smooth when styled. This product left my hair feeling like straw and extra tangled. My usual 2-3 day style was washed this morning just to get rid of that texture from using this product yesterday. I am 47 and diabetic. I used to have healthy, thick hair but with aging and health my hair has become Thinner, brittle and at time frizzy and dry. A friend introduced to Alterna products last year and it has made a difference but this product, wow! I put this on my hair as recommended, once dry it was soft, touchable, smooth with no frizz. The clenched was how much thicker my hair felt. It does say it will change the texture of your hair and I agree. My hair is naturally course (Native American). This product works well with conditioned hair after a hair wash, or sans any conditioner as it helps to condition the hair, and also makes doing various styles easier. I've air dried my hair as well as used the blow dryer for a few minutes if my air drying time is limited and it's still slightly damp. Not a greasy feel, and does smell good too.jsg

My hair isn’t thick or thin but there is A LOT of it. So much so that my hairdressers asks that I book an extra half hour with her to blow dry it. At home it takes me about 40 minutes to dry to completion. This seriously cuts the time in half! I apply my usual live in conditioner/ heat protectant and oil and then this last. I seperate my hair into 2 and then spray down the shafts of my hair pretty liberally in the front and underneath. Comb it through and perfect blowdry! I deducted 1 star because once I put it in and left it for maybe 15 minutes before I blow dryer my hair and it made it really tangly! Used it again right before blow drying and no issues!elee1

Whilst WOW products are not cheap they are not up at the Olaplex, Oribe etc prices but I feel they certainly are in the same bracket as far as performance is concerned. They are good quality and this spray is one of the best of the best. I am starting to see more hair loss now I’m in my 50’s and whilst not yet thinning my fair is not a thick as it use to be. It took me years to find this product, but now that I've finally found it, it's the one hair product I don't ever want to live without & is absolutely my holy grail! I have had the most baby fine, thinnest, flattest hair my entire life that has never wanted to hold a curl or any wave whatsoever. If only I had known about this product years ago I could have had the hair I wanted my whole life! I stopped blow drying my hair years ago & I don't like to have to mess with my hair a lot, and this really suits me + makes my hair look and smell great, and my hair feels so soft & not crunchy at all. And this stuff just smells DIVINE! I use this along with the Thickening shampoo & conditioner (3-4x weekly) & BB Prep primer. I take my showers at night & after my hair gets a little dry, I spray with Prep, put Don't Blow It (Fine) in my hair from about the tops of my ears down, then twist my hair into a bun on top of my head & secure it with a couple of cloth rubber bands & a scrunchie, and go about my business or go to sleep. The next day, I take it down & usually don't even brush it – maybe the very top of my head sometimes – but generally I just fix it & fluff it a bit with my fingers & I'm good to go! It holds the waves great & doesn't feel like I have any product in my hair, sometimes if I'm going out I'll spritz a little with BB Does It All, but most days not. My hair looks the best it ever has & I feel like it's in the best shape it's ever been in because, using this product, I don't have to brush my hair (and break it/damage it) as much. I just love this stuff so much & I always order extra so I make sure I'm never without. This brand is quickly winning me over with all of their hair products I’ve tried! I bought 3 travel sizes of products, including the Don’t Blow It Fine (H)air Styler. I decided to try it out when I showered last night. My hair is fine, flat, and straight. There has only been one time I’ve had beach wavy hair that looked good (and it was accidental—exciting, but I didn’t try to style it as such, nonetheless). Every other product left my waves crunchy, dirty looking, and incredibly unflattering. I’ll be honest, my expectations weren’t too high for Don’t Blow It because of all of the other products I’ve tried. After washing my hair and towel drying it, I applied BB’s Don’t Blow It according to the directions. I didn’t use a lot because I wasn’t sure how it would make my hair feel, but I noticed when I squeezed some into my hand that it’s consistency was totally different than anything else I’ve tried. I also noticed it had a nice, light, clean scent to it. Two pleasant surprises before I even applied it! Yay! As it was air drying, I would scrunch my hair a bit but that’s it. About 20-25 minutes after application I decided to take a look at how things were going, before heading to bed. I was SHOCKED! It works!! It was creating waves like I’ve never had! I wasn’t sure how it’d look this morning after sleeping on it but I was one happy lady when I laid down. Fast forward to this morning—I looked in the mirror and was speechless! I have honestly never been an fan of B&B products. Everyone I've ever tried has been so-so at best. I don't like paying a premium for a so-so product. This one, however, for me is the exception. I already RARELY dry my hair with heat and when I do it is typically for a different look (no curls) and I have product for that. I have started adding this on top of my leave-in conditioner before scrunching up my hair and going about my day and I'm rather impressed. My curl pattern has been nice (similar to what I was able to achieve with a now long discontinued product that I still miss) and I LOVE that it has UV filters to help protect my color treatments, which tend to go too warm quickly in the spring and summer when is spend more time outdoors. It took me some time to get the amount of this product right (just a little, rubbed between my hands first) to get the result I wanted – but now I'm happy enough I'm back for more (even though I keep telling myself I need to finish up some other products first.)SusanY

What I appreciate about JVN is the way he encourages everyone to embrace what they've got going for them, even if they want to change it up to feel our best. My hair texture is long and what can only be described as ultra-frizzy. It likes to loop and curl back on itself in one giant mass; there are, like, right angles in my hair. This is especially trying as an Asian woman, where there is literally no representation of my hair type in our cultural beauty standard, though I'm certainly not the only Asian woman with this hair. The ideal is always straight, glossy, shiny hair, maybe sometimes permed wavy hair, but never this huge, heavy behemoth I've never made peace with in my 30+ years. If I'm straighten my hair, it takes at least an hour. It's at least 15 minutes to blow dry my hair, and it still is usually in a rather uncontrollable state/frizzier than ever afterwards. Pretty much the only times my hair looks the way I want is fresh out of the salon, after 1-2 hours of a professional wrestling with it. And even then, it's always been straightened, not really an enhancement of my natural curls. I was intrigued by this air dry cream after really liking the shine drops and reading how it has helped others who seem to have similar relationships to their hair as me. Could this finally help me feel good being myself? It has not disappointed. My hair has never been this soft and shiny without any heat styling. Being able to apply this cream and let my hair dry is an absolute dream. I do still need to use quite a bit and brush it through regularly as its drying, and I also still need to pair it with a serum. But at least I don't need my hair dryer. I'm also not a huge fan of the tangerine smell since I have a sensitivity to citrus scent, but it doesn't really stick around. Additionally, I've noticed that I can go longer between washes. I was introduced to this brand through the influenster program, they sent this to me to try for free in exchange for an authentic review. I am a hairstylist who uses a lot of great products everyday and I love to air dry my own hair cause it’s super wavy and dries nicely with the right kind of air dry product or texture spray. I had no expectations because I had never heard anything about the brand, the packaging is really modern and nice and the air dry cream is packaged in a similar way to a tube of hair color just much bigger, It’s a good size tube of product and you truly don’t need a lot of product at all it’s concentrated. I am a tough critic and I don’t judge lightly when it comes to hair products, and instantly I could tell this was a great product that was well formulated and had an intentional styling purpose, from this day forward this is my holy grail product for my hair, it did everything I wanted it to do and more. I have coarse hair, very dry looking when I blow dry, my mother says it looks like hay which I get offended about but it truly does, it’s just super thick and coarse and has always felt dehydrated. Typically when I air dry I do my hair soaking wet, and apply a ton of different products for different reasons, one to hydrate, one to defrizz, one for control and one for enhancing my wave pattern. This product is genius, I don’t know if any other product I have ever tried on myself that has suited my hair type so perfectly. My hair dried without frizz, and it gave me beautiful texture and perfectly beachy waves without feeling like I had anything in my hair at all. it left my hair feeling soft and hydrated and also with a great style and volume at the roots. I have had thick, dry, curly hair for so long. I can’t count on two hands how many different products, shampoos, conditioners, etc. etc. that I have tried over the years. None of them ever seemed to successfully hydrate my hair and give me the ability to style it. Beyond that, I found that most products would make my hair extremely weighed down, which is a problem since my hair is already extremely thick and dense. On the FIRST DAY of trying the Air Dry Cream (paired with the Nurture shampoo and conditioner) one of my best friends asked me if I had product in my hair because it looked “really good!” I always have product in my hair, so it’s funny that she asked me this question specifically on the day that I started using the Air Dry Cream. Then, another one of my friends saw me 30 minutes later and asked if I had done something different with my hair and complimented how it looked. I never get compliments on my hair, so I thought this was so strange. I have medium to thick hair that is slightly kinky due to the dry and damaged nature of it. I started using this product and it smells divine – like strawberries. It doesn't weigh down my hair and adds moisture to it. I put it in after I washed it & towel dry it. Afterwards, I apply the Hyaluronic Treatment in and blow dry my hair and then straightened it. I love the way my hair feels. It is pretty weightless. For the frizz it doesn't a good job, not perfect. If you are in the rain your hair may still frizz because it is still weightless, but I think it does a nice job nonetheless and will keep using it. It is on the pricier side. I used 2 pumps each time for a medium length to long of hair. I tend to stay away from the roots when I use any oil or creamy products, so it doesn't feel greasy in my scalp. I have very dry frizzy hair that gets weighed down eaily so I'm always looking for products to help with that. I had heard of the original invisible oil for a while but had never tried it. I was excited to try this version of it because I thought the hyaluronic acid would be great at bringing in more hydration. I applied this to towel dried, mostly wet hair and when my hair dried, it felt softer than it usually does when I air dry. On first impressions, I thought it was a little weird because I was expecting it to make my hair feel more silky and untangled immediately (like a leave in conditioner) but that is not what this product is supposed to do. I will likely keep using this on days when I shampoo because once my hair dried, it looked more moisturized (not as dull/dry-looking). I am prone to a dry flaky scalp in the winter so I really liked that this can be applied to the scalp.RianaS

If you needa skip washing your hair for a day, lightly damp your hair, mostly on tips, then lightly work this through with your fingers, then brush with a wide toothed comb.. and you're fresh again. I LOVE this, it's so much better then dry shampoo with it's aerosol and massive amounts of chemicals.. I stand by Pacifica, a brand that looks out for our Mother, Earth. I love everything about this product except one major thing – the SMELL! I'm not big on artificial fragrance or strong fragrance in skincare/haircare products. I prefer natural, clean products with scents that are gentle and/or subtle. I love a good scented candle, but I don't want fragrance to follow me around all day on my hair. And this fragrance really lingers. I can easily smell it even after another wash day, 2-3 days later. It's honestly a big enough deal that I may not buy this product again, even though I love how it makes my hair feel. That being said, my hair has been very soft, silky and manageable with this product, and I haven't found many other products like it. But I don't know if I can deal with the fragrance. This stuff is freakin amazing. I have thick, course hair that has some damage from color treatment & while I use heavier oils & masks to treat it, this is my go-to day oil that I use as a finishing spray before going out. Not only does it soften the hair, it gets rid of any fly aways or fuzzies going on on the surface of the hair. Once you spray this & run a brush through, your hair will be soft, more defined and did I mention the shine? I have NEVER seen even a shine spray give the shine this ghost oil does. I love this stuff & I hope they never stop making it. Do be aware, though, that this product has demethicone in it. This is not a bad ingredient, per say, but it won't be removed with regular shampoos. But there are now plenty of gentle sulfate free shampoos on the market. You don't need harsh sulfate shampoos to clarify your hair! This is really a holy grail product, if buy it with the knowledge of how to care for your hair when you use it.Sabrina

I dry my hair very often so I’ve been using this product for like 3 years now. It works great! I feel my hair dries quicker when I use it and it also protects from heat damage. I am very disappointed that It may have been discontinued because I can’t find it anywhere !Mom3

I use this on days I plan on using a flat iron. I use a dime size amount and work it through my hair before blow drying with my round brush. It really helps tame my frizz and keep my hair manageable. My scalp tends to get oily quickly and sometimes products like this make it worse. However, I haven't noticed that when using this. Love this! Bought a 2nd tube to have on hand if they ever discontinue it. I have fine textured, semi-curly bleached hair, but a lot of it. This doesn't weight my hair down or leave it sticky or stiff. It simply adds lots of healthy-feeling volume without frizz (for reference, I blow dry and flat iron my hair). makes my hair soo soft but not greasy. i have fine hair so the regular invisible oil makes my hair look greasy, but the daytime repair fluid is perfect. i use about four pumps and work into the ends of my hair after i shower. it also makes my hair stronger. my hairstylist only uses bumble and bumble products, and when she used this on my hair i had to buy. i also use the invisible oil primer and thickening treatment. love 🙂faithel1se

I have colour-treated, mid-length fine hair which splits easily. I've tried a variety of different creams/serums on the ends of my hair, and this product is my favourite. It's light and doesn't weigh my hair down. It smells lovely (the scent is not very strong) and it has made a really positive difference to the ends of my hair. My hair appears smoother, less brittle-looking and the ends look healthy. My hairdresser has also noticed a difference and doesn't feel the need to cut as much off when I see her! I received this product in my complimentary Biolage VoxBox and I was super excited to try it out since I have color-treated hair and try to limit how often I use hot tools during the week. First off, YALL it smells SO good! I personally love the floral undertones. Secondly, it leaves a really nice gloss and limits how much frizz I typically have with my natural hair. I am a big fan of [brand:biolage], I’ve been using it since I was in school for cosmetology years ago! What I originally fell in love with (and still love to this day!) is the scent! Meh, I so wanted to love this–but sadly it didn't do much for me, aside than make my hair smell amazing. I think this product could be effective on hair which is more fine, or hair with minimal curl. I have a 3C curl pattern that this product really couldn't do much justice to. It's also worth noting that my hair is long, thick, somewhat course and was recently pre-lightened for a pink/purple ombre. Sadly, this did next to nothing to combat my frizz–but I also live in a humid climate so I'm guessing that played a factor as well. I did not like what this product did to my hair! The results after applying to damp hair after washing-(my hair for the record is wavy/medium thickness mostly thinning/long/brunette) were really disappointing and made me want to re wash my hair to get this stuff out right away. Every time. So initially I really liked the smell of this and was just hoping that it would be a nice addition to my simple hair care routine. My expectations were not really over the top or anything. I have tried to like this several times and each time I used it I was left with really bad hair that felt crunchy, and it left me with a slight chalky powdery looking cast to my hair, basically a tangled and overall messy dirty look with absolutely no appeal over all. Definitely a waste of money (although not much since the price point is thankfully low.) wish it offered some hydrating benefits or something like a subtle shine even. I have a lot of fairly coarse, wavy/curly hair. Many curl products are a bit too heavy for me and this works amazingly well without weighing my texture down. I let my hair get to the point where its damp but not soaking wet, and then I add a dime-sized amount (don't need much product) to my hair. I run my palms over my hair and gently work it through, then scrunch gently and let it dry. It does wonders to smooth my frizz and it really enhances my wavy/curly textures. I can sleep on my curly hair and just spritz with water/re-scrunch in the morning and I'm good to go!!!clurrtree

The Kristin Ess Weightless Shine leave-in conditioner is a really good option if you have fine/thin hair. It is a lightweight mist that helps a lot to detangle the hair after towel drying. The scent is really nice and delicate. After completely dry, I noticed my hair reasonably shinier and smoother. I can't say much about the strengthening factor but I really like the way my hair looks and feels after using it. One of the most positive aspects of this leave-in conditioner is that it doesn't feel sticky like many I've tried. As the name says, it is lightweight indeed and my hair loves it! 💕ananda.a
