Recently we ran out of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner and happened to get the new and improved version. Don't waste your money! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. This product was recommended by a grout restoration company that did some work at our home to prepare it for sale. I had white tile and white grout and even with careful routine cleaning the grout discolored over time. I've cleaned it in the past with every type of product imaginable, including products with bleach. After the recommendation by the grout restoration company I used this cleaner and it worked wonders. The grout looked like new and discolorations I thought were permanent wiped up cleanly on the cloth. Directions Test in and inconspicuous area prior to use. 1. Remove any loose dirt by sweeping or vacuuming floor first. 2. Squirt directly onto floor in an S pattern, covering approximately 3 square feet at a time. Avoid puddling. 3. Spread out evenly with damp, wrung out mop. 4. Move to the next area and repeat. Rinse mop as necessary to remove accumulated dirt. Your floor will normally dry to a beautiful shine in 10-15 minutes. Excess product pooled in grout lines should be leveled with a damp mop before it can dry. Should floors show signs of build-up or discoloration, remove with a solution of 1 cup household ammonia in 1/2 gallon of water.
Warnings Contains glycolic ethers. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Recently we ran out of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner and happened to get the new and improved version. Don't waste your money! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. What should have only taken the company a couple hours now will take the entire day. And I have to spend extra money to have the film removed. I really love this cleaner, I got the lemon scent and it smells really great. I love that it doesn’t smell of chemicals. We have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidents on our wood floors (misses pee pads) and this cleaner is great at mopping that up. Unfortunately for the price I think the bottle is just too small. I use it nearly every day on my floors and this little bottle is not going to last a month. When I can buy a large bottle of vinegar for a few dollars I’m not sure I can justify spending $12 on something so small. If the bottle was larger or the price was cheaper I’d be buying this all the time. Plus the way my husband pours in cleaner, I nearly had a heart attack. I have light pine colored laminate flooring and everything I have used in the past has left a sticky residue or a streaky finish. This product did NOT leave a residue and left a shiny, clean (non-streaked) finish! I am so pleased! I had read some of the negative reviews about smell and am happy to report the only smell I could detect was fresh and clean (I bought the lemon kind!). I diluted 1 oz in 1 gallon of warm water and it made a wonderfully pleasing sudsy bucket of cleaner that dried quickly and to a perfect finish. It also worked beautifully on glazed ceramic bathroom tile floor and left it so shiny, I thought the floor was still wet after it was dry. Like another poster wrote, I applied the first coat in a cross-application on my floors, then applied the second coat with the grain of the flooring. Outcome was truly fabulous! On the back of the bottle, it said that the finish is good for about 4 months…well, considering the cost of this product (about $20), I would like to think that the shine/protection would last closer to a year! One negative about this product is its packaging. Whenever I would try to shake the bottle, a lot of the product would spill out! I always made sure that the cap was fastened securely onto the bottle, then made sure that its lid was shut tight prior to shaking. All to no avail; me and my floors would get a mini-shower! I have 700 sq. ft. of flooring so, I had to use 2 bottles. I had the same problem with both bottles; as a matter of fact, the 2nd bottle was worse than the first one. Directions Use on: All Tile & Grout Surfaces! Shake well before using. 1.Spray generously on all dirty tile & grout surface area and spread evenly with a clean mop or cloth ensuring surface is damp. 2. Allow to air dry. Do not rinse off cleaner as enzymes are cleaning and dissolving away dirt and grime. 3. Rinse area with clean water and damp mop to lift loose dirt and re-activate tie enzymatic cleaning action. I at least had 3 years of dirt on my grout…When I finally noticed that my grout was now black and not white…I first tried the lemon and baking soda remedy…which seem to do okay but alot of work for a kitchen floor then I searched at home depot and found this grout cleaner. I tried it and did exactly what the directions said after about 1 hour of air drying I came back to scrub the grout with a grout scrubber which I also got at home depot and my grout went from black to white! I will use this cleaner from now on and instead of waiting 3 years to clean my grout it will be a once of month project! Great product!!! I recommend to anyone with dirty nasty grout!Asmile

I got this product figuring that at best it would mildly clean the tile floor at worst I was out $10. To my surprise this bi enzo thing worked better than I ever thought possible. After application and waiting for about 2 hours when I rinsed the floor with water the tile looked almost knew. Your product inspired me to actually write a review. Worked like a charm, and best part didnt have to break my back scrubbing away at the grout or the tiles. You have won me as a customer.

I used this product on the grout in my bath tube / shower area, following the directions exactly. After two applications, nothing has changed. Scrubbing after the second attempt did nothing. I'll keep doing it until the container is used up.Will

I ordered this product because of the reviews. I am completely shocked that anyone could give this product a good review. My grout is one year old and has a normal amount of use. I scrubbed and I scrubbed and I scrubbed with this product and the result was no result. Nothing changed. My grout still looks like it needs to be cleaned. Don't believe the other reviews. I have spent so much money on grout cleaners. Most of them do not work. This product, it does! I just spray on the grout, lightly scrub using a grout brush (you can also buy those on a stick so you do not have to bend down) and let it sit for a few minutes and I mop up with clean water. I am going to do sections at a time, but I have finally found a grout cleaner that actually works with less effort and time!kewins

Spray on, wait a few minutes, use a good scrub brush and some elbow grease. I couldn't believe my eyes. My grout is cream colored again, and even my natural stone floor tiles look like new for the first time in 10 years. Took a while, but I feel like I have a new kitchen floor. Please note that I had never had my floor sealed, am not sure what the results would be if so. Over the years I've tried everything on these floors, and this is the only thing hat worked.SweetSueQ

Stay away from this Rejuvenate product, it’s the worst ever. I’m decided to try them after my usual hardwood floor cleaner was out at the store. Big mistake, the milky substance leaves smudges all over the hardwood floor. Had to use another product to remove the streaks and smudges. I just purchased my first Rejuvinate mop kit at Lowes. I have tried too many cheap mops and pads over the past several years. Most are too bulky to use and they never give me the shine I'm looking for. Many have cheap, oversized pads that flop around making it difficult and frustrating for me. This product is awesome. I live in an apartment so this is the cheapest flooring ever and it was permanently stained. I've been here 5 years and Rejuvinate completely renewed the floor, it isn't perfect, but at least it's clean and it looks clean!
