At first, was not expecting much, to be honest. Nicely surprised at how nice it is. Packaging is lovely, although did not expect it to look like a big lip balm. It has been a week since started using and it is very nice. My skin no longer feels tight or hurts from the super dry winter heat. If you have never used retinol before and want to add it into your routine, start with this one! It is so gentle but very effective! I seen very noticeable results in about 3 weeks and at around the 6 week mark my skin texture had completely changed. I did bump up to a higher percentage after I finished this tube off, but go at your own pace according to what your skin can tolerate. I have been using this product for just 3 weeks now and I feel that it's helped a lot with overall texture and appearance of my skin. I don't have the most blemishes from acne but I feel that those I do have, have been improving since I began using this. As with all Neocutis products, it is does not irritate the skin. So many other products add different things to their product that end up irritating the skin. Yes it’s pricey but it’s far superior on my skin compared to skinceuticals. What really irritates me is the packaging. With use, the metal colored ring starts to crack and break off causing it to get everywhere. I notice metal glitter on my face after every application and I need to pick it off my face. As a result I tried using it without the cap but then the product dries over and gets crusty. This is highly annoying!!! Please fire the whole product design team and get rid of the metal part. I had been using the original Algenist firming and lifting cream for a couple years and loved it. It's what got me to go with Algenist for all my skin care products. Now it's gone and replaced with a modified name and formulation. I was able to try some on the back of my hand from a tester at another retailer. I really didn't care for the feel of this cream. Algenist has front loaded the silicones and this feels too much like a foundation primer. I could feel the slickness of the silicones, and that was about it. But I also found, unlike other cream that you apply in circular motion, this cream you apply by gently smoothing on. I allow it to dry 20-30 mins before my makeup. The reason why everyone says how good this cream feels and how smooth it makes their skin feel is because there is Dimethicone in it. It literally fills your skin in. While this cream may be great to use once in a while, it shouldn't be your daily moisturizer. Best used at times when you really want your skin to look good, perhaps under makeup. There are definite short-term improvements. But Dimethicone is sketchy. Especially if you have skin conditions like acne or whatever. Containing the same 4 citrus oils as the 'Ready Steady Glow' tonic plus the same Lactic Acid, this is like a body version of the tonic and it's both brightening and exfoliating, whilst it lightly moisturizes. I don't find it works quite as well on KP as Ameliorate or Cerave, but the glow I get from this is something I don't get with either of those. Yes the artificial citrus scent is a bit strong for my liking but thankfully doesn't linger around for too long, and being a serum as opposed to a lotion, this absorbs very easily and isn't sticky or greasy – perfect for warmer weather. However, unlike a serum you would use on your face, you don't HAVE to follow with a moisturizer unless your skin needs the extra hydration. And speaking of moisturizing, bear in mind this is very lightweight, so if you have dry skin, this is unlikely to make much of a difference to that. This is something you would purchase specifically for its smoothing and brightening effect. I love this moisturiser, it leaves skin so smooth, is light and smells nice. I started using it in August, and it was a perfect alternative to coconut/cocoa oil and shea butter, which I find make me too warm and sweaty in the summer. I received a sample size product complimentary to try and reveiew from influencer and I like the smell so much thay I bought the full size. I must admit I hesitated to but the full size because at that price point, I felt the jar should have been bigger. Overall the product has good smooth texture and the smell is fantastic. However, I feel like it absorbs so well in my skin that I have to reapply throughout the day for my skin to stay mositerized. Maybe one day they will formulate it differently for better long lasting moisterizerization? So I received a sample product complimentary to try and I actually went out and bought the $38.00 jar because the sample was so small and I really loved the smell of the product. I went back in forth on getting the full size product because I felt like for the price point, the container should have been bigger. I typically have used this product right after I towel dry but have reapplied the product on dry skin. It feels good when I apply it on my skin the texture is really nice and there is no heavy, greasy feeling on my skin. However, I feel like it's missing something. I don't have overly dry skin, but I feel my skin doesn't feel that moisturized after I apply the product and throughout the day, I need to reapply. I am very generous with the application too. Frangrance: I love the smell. I have sensitive skin, but this frangrance does not bother me. Not even a minor reaction has occurred. My only complaint is that I wish it lasted longer. I love everything about this product. I've always had difficulties with using exfoliating scrubs and masks because many are too thick, gritty and abrasive, or the contrary–too weak and ineffectual. This product is just the right amount of texture to provide a smooth polish and it also hydrates and gives my 45 year old skin a smooth glow. It also rinses off quickly and cleanly without leaving any residue or particles. I was really amazed to notice such a visible result the first time I used it. I don't typically follow a regimented facial routine, so I end up using it whenever I notice my skin needs a brightening and smoothing polish, and it always delivers. Its a great value because I only need a tiny dab for it to perfectly distribute. And its much cheaper than getting a professional facial with the same result. I have purchased this for the first time, having used lots of Mario Badescu products for quite a while now. I like a nice, effective but gentle exfoliator for my skin, particular around areas where I am prone to the occasional ingrown hair which can cause the odd breakout. This product is lovely – smells fresh, has a good size granual that feels natural and gives a lovely 'deep cleanse' feel to my skin. I just use it a couple times a week, and I can see that it takes off any surface dryness and my face feels brighter and clearer after use. You don't need to use much. I follow this with the MB Aloe Toner which is also very gentle and soothing. I will continue using this product, I'm very happy with it after about 3 weeks use so far.Chelebelle14

I didn't read the reviews thoroughly to notice, and the description does not mention, that there was a strong scent. So I was very surprised. The first night I tried it the smell was so strong I could still smell it for at least 10 minutes after. I do not have sensitive skin and was nervous the smell would cause some irritation. I woke up and my skin was so soft and no adverse reactions, so I gave it another try. I used a little less product and didn't smell anything the second time. I've used it for about a week now and I don't even smell it when I put it on. I'm not sure if I've become used to the smell or whether adjusting the amount of product used is what's eliminating it but I definitely know my skin is so soft and it works well with my other nighttime skin care routine. Maybe just don't put it around your eyes.dmn
This Adv. Peptides & Flora Collagen Moisturizer is a great product. For me, when using I have diminished wrinkles, good moisture in skin. My husband loves this stuff and uses it nightly. As I have found with many DermaE nighttime or heavy moisturizing products, when applied they feel like they sit atop my skin like a mask. But when I wake up the moisturizer feels absorbed into my skin and my skin looks smooth, clear, fresh, and healthy. Now that I've discovered the DermaE brand, I stopped using all the dept. store brands and there is such a difference in my skin. I sure hope this company never self-destructs and changes formulas and ingredients just to save a nickel. I've tried a lot of face creams to help with the harsh winter temps and lack of humidity. My skin dries and flakes over the winter and most creams are so heavy they cause me to break out. This cream, however, is perfect as a night cream in the winter (I won't use it during the summer as it would be too heavy). A little goes a long way so not much product is needed. I into use it as night and I find it moisturizes my face without a greasy or heavy product feeling. I have combination skin and this cream works wonderfully. I haven't had any dry patches or flaky skin since using it and no breakouts. I would definitely recommend it. So happy I finally found a winter face cream after so many years.Cdd

Honestly I do love Perricone MD products in general. This definitely has instant tightening noted with its application as you apply a small amount in an upward direction and let dry. I feel it tightening as it dries. I bought this for my neck as it is losing collagen and firmness and just needed some serious help. After each use my neck has visible improvements. I’m not talking like I went from a Turkey neck to plastic surgery Barbie but there is an improvement. I use it twice a day and follow with my other favorite moisturizer products after I let it completely dry. The smell is not so good and that may steer a lot of people away. My only recommendation is to add some sort of scent that could improve the product. It is packed with essentials. It improves fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, dullness , uneven skin texture, and loss of firmness. The product is backed with clinical results showing in their study 100% reduction in fine lines wrinkles and pores!! 85% reported improved elasticity and skin tone. These results are from their published study. It is cruelty free,fragrance free, and Vegan. So far I give it 5 stars and I’m a skin care snob to say the least. I've used a number of Perricone MD products in the past with mostly good results, so eager to try the Cold Plasma+ The Intensive Hydrating Complex when offered as a free sample in exchange for an honest review. One concern I had with past Cold Plasma moisturizers was the strong "fish oil" scent, however this product DOES NOT have that scent! In fact, this product's scent is light and non-offensive, which is a fantastic improvement (thank you to Perricone for addressing that with the Cold Plasma line). I truly enjoy the luxurious, thick, balm-like texture of this product, as well as how it glides over the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I usually use this product at night over a retinol or lactic acid serum, and this product gives my skin a good dose of hydration while I sleep. I have not experienced any skin sensitivity while using this product. When I compare this product to other products I've tried, I feel the hydration results are better than Eve Lom Moisture Cream and Augustinus Bader The Cream, which each sell for over $100 and simply don't offer hydration and skin smoothing benefits of this product. Therefore, while the price is aligned to other luxury skincare products, it does live up to the level of quality and results I expected from a product at this pricepoint. Right now, I am 1/3 of the way through the full-size container after about 3 weeks of use, and I plan to purchase more once I begin to run low, making it a permanent resident in my skincare arsenal.
I'd begun to get cross-hatching on my upper cheeks where the skin has started to sink–a very distressing new development. At 79, I'm still vain I guess, and hate seeing the almost daily negative changes to my skin. The crossing-hatching, though, was too much. I tried several other creams, lotions, oils–each promising to undo what the ravages of time and lack of estrogen have "accomplished." This was a last-ditch investment, but one from which expected similar results. But "hope springs eternal" and the first day I thought I saw a difference. I've used this duo twice a day since it arrived and I'm VERY happy to repeat my review's title: it works. The hatch marks are now virtually invisible. It works. I wish it didn't, because now it has to go in the annual budget along with the mortgage and tax, but for someone who has had problem skin all their life, this is just too good not to splurge on. After about six months of use, my skin is firmer, glowy, less red, breaks out less (and my inevitable hormonal break outs are shorter), has tighter pores, and while I don't have a lot of aging signs to speak of, I do think it's lessening the appearance of fine lines about my eyes. Most amazingly for me, it's shrunk a small keloid scar, and quite rapidly too. I didn't change anything else in my skincare or life during that time, so I'm certain it's the cream. Other acne scars and even a chickenpox scar have all faded too, and I tried a The Rich Cream sample on some stretch marks, which also got better. People regularly compliment me on my skin and I rarely wear foundation anymore. Unlike some other reviews, I find the texture pleasant; it's not a thick cream, so spreads well. The bottle lasts reasonably well, which lessens the ouch of the cost. I reckon I'll be able to get away with buying maybe 2 or 3 full-size bottles a year. Make sure to pull the pump out; the product is in a bag you can cut open to get every last drop out. However, I have knocked one star off because The Cream is not as moisturising as I would like, especially now it's colder. I have tried The Rich Cream, but this made me break out in oily areas. The Cream doesn't do this, but for my combination skin it just isn't quite enough in drier areas. I therefore have to double moisturise at night now winter is here. It's a bit annoying having to buy a second product given the price point, though I can get away with a cheap night cream with HA to boost hydration as the second moisturiser, so that's something. If you're skin leans more oily or dry, or you don't use a lot of harsh actives, you'll probably be fine with The Cream/Rich Cream alone. I was super excited to receive The Light Cream from Augustinus Bader in exchange for my honest review. I've heard such great things about the brand that I couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype. I'm happy to report that for me, this product absolutely did! The first thing I noticed was the beautiful blue and bronze aluminum packaging. It's stunning, and feels significant (not cheap or flimsy) in your hand. It definitely has a very luxe feel and appearance. The cream itself has a lightweight consistency, more like a creamy serum than an actual cream. It has no noticeable scent. It applies like a dream and absorbs quickly, leaving a natural finish. My dry skin feels moisturized and even at the end of a hot, humid Florida summer day, not the least bit greasy. It wears well under sunscreen and makeup, but can get a little pilly if I apply too much. Since this is so lightweight, it may not be enough moisture for winter, but during the summer it's been my holy grail daytime moisturizer. It's spendy, but if the budget allows, I will definitely be repurchasing. My only complaint (aside from price) is that the packaging is rounded on the bottom so it doesn't stand up. Not sure what the purpose of that is, however, it's certainly not a deal breaker for me. Influenster sent me a complimentary bottle of The Light Cream – a light daily moisturizer (for people like me with oily skin) from Augustinus Bader a few weeks ago for my honest review. I was familiar with the brand but had never purchased or used any of their products. Spoiler alert – I AM LOVING IT. As a late 30’s mom with oily, acne-prone skin, there are a few things I know I need from a daily moisturizer. It cannot make me break out, or cause additional oil production. It needs to contain ingredients that are proven to be effective, in a large enough amount to actually produce results. I need a light (but not weak) moisturizer that won’t be harsh on my sensitive skin, but will still leave it hydrated and help combat some of these knocking-on-40’s-door fine lines and wrinkles I’ve got going on. I need it to sink into my skin quickly and completely – without any lingering residue so I can move on to doing my makeup and living my life. This review is for SKINPOWER Cream which was tested as part of a regimen sent complimentary from Influenster and SK-II for testing purposes. Because it’s difficult to distinguish the effects of the individual products used as part of the regimen, I’ll include an overall review for the regimen, and a review about specifics of the individual product in each product review. The regimen included: Facial Treatment Cleanser, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence), and SKINPOWER Cream, applied in that order. SKINPOWER Cream: 5/5 My impression of the SKINPOWER Cream is also very positive. I like that it holds in the moisture offered by the previous products in the regimen on top of providing its own, and I really like that it never feels greasy or makes my skin look or feel congested, even on very muggy, hot days. I often find that creams with this goldilocks level of moisturization on application are either very strongly scented, irritate my skin for unknown reasons (stupid comedone breakouts), or paradoxically make my skin drier but shiny (???), and I did not experience that with this product and I’m very glad for that. I would recommend this for people with sensitive, normal, dry, combination or oily skin, but not skin that is very dry as I suspect it will not offer sufficient moisturization for that without the addition of a heavier cream. Overall: 4/5 Overall, I thought this regimen was very good. The most important points that I noticed is that it was sensitive skin friendly, mildly brightening, and very softening and smoothing. I did notice a reduction in fine lines related to dryness, and I did not feel dry (which I usually do) when using this regimen. I am absolutely certain this regimen was softening immediately just by the feel of my usually rough hands after application each night. I would give the regimen 5 stars if I had not still needed additional exfoliation a few days a week, and if it had been more brightening over the period of time that I’ve used it (several weeks). Again a small sample but a little went far! I was pleasently surprised with this too! I enjoyed the smell even though I see that others may not have. To me it's reminiscent of sunscreen or Avon products from way back in the day which gives me a feeling of nostalgia. This is so super hydrating which normally I am not a big fan of because I have combination skin so usually I stick with gel moisturizers but surprisingly this wasn't super heavy. I know shocking right. Don't know how they did it but they did. I used this in combination with many different types of face wash as I didn't get to test their brand so that's actually pretty great for me. It performed amazing even when following after a deep chemical exfoliation it hydrated like a beast! Oh and let me say my weather here is hot humid and sticky but my face wasn't. It left me feeling smooth and plump and played well under sunscreen and makeup without piling or sweating off. It's expensive it's bougie but it's worth it again. I'm 38, with combination skin that is dry in the winter and super oily in the summer. I was stoked to be able to try the super-hyped line of SK-II products. SK-II's claim to fame is their "Pitera" ingredient, that is some super-secret yeast derivative that is, according to their website, sold once every 2 seconds because "its transformative powers on skin appearance are so legendary". Additionally, their SP cream is, "A velvety moisturizer that melts into skin and intensely hydrates to supercharge your skin for a youthful, healthy look" – not sure what they mean by 'melt'… This product will sit on your skin all day and remain visibly shiny until the day ends. The picture attached to this review is after having it on for 9 hours. Shine city! Alright, now for the truth. SP Cream, unfortunately, doesn't live up to the hype, price for a premium product, and most importantly the PROMISES. It's modern day snake oil, folks – I saw zero changes to the texture of my skin when using this product. I had used this daily, according to the application regimen, and found that it NEVER would "quickly absorb" into my skin like SK-II claims it should – in fact, it took HOURS to completely absorb, period! I put it on in the AM and my skin would remain like an oil slick all day until I finally (and excitedly!) was able to wash it off – One day that I had it on for 5 hours already, it had started to rain and it literally melted off my face… Never absorbed! After that day, I switched to using it as a night cream! It made no difference from day 1 to day 30 to my skins texture, appearance, or wrinkles. It was as useful as smearing petroleum jelly on my face. I would absolutely not recommend this or any of SK-IIs products.sarah.k

This is by far the absolute best serum I have ever used. I get so many compliments on my skin and how it glow. It's not oily or greasy but gives you great skin. This is my third purchase from the Beekman line. I'm in my late 30s, have combination skin and have suffered with cystic acne since I was 13. I usually breakout along my jaw line but they never come to a head. This product is so effective at clearing up my pores without being harsh and after using it at night for the past week I've seen no more breakouts. My skin is smoother and more even. This is definitely worth its weight in gold. A little goes a long way. I mix a few drops in with my moisturizer and my skin drinks it up. It's way too good to pass up. Retinol is scary (I think). But it's the only thing that works. It reformats your skin to be smoother, brighter, and more resilient, so if you want those things, you should probably use some sort of retinol-based product. There are tons of them on the market. But if you want the product that uses natural ingredients and has a gentle yet potent formula, this is IT. I have tried so many products to convert my skin into the beautiful "no-makeup-model" kind of look, and none have worked the way this does. And none have felt as good. I've used Acutane, Proactive, Doxycycline, Clara, and all sorts of random drug store products. They all excuse my burning skin or increased breakouts as an issue with my "combination skin," but I'm pretty sure we all have combination skin so it's beyond nice to find a product that just WORKS because it was made to help, not to sell. I am a HUGE fan.

I recently purchased this glycolic 10 serum, as I am 46 years old, and would like to retain my youthful complexion. Now, first of all I had been reading reviews that the consistency was very watery and that it crusted around the opening. I have used this serum for a few years now, during which it has changed manufacturers twice. It was first made in Taiwan and it was good. But I guess after a reviewer on their website calling them out they decided to move the production to Germany, which was still very good. With the most recent bottle received, I immediately recognize the difference in quality upon first use. Within a week I found my skin to be drier than usual. Upon further examination, I found that this bottle is made in Ireland. The older version is more viscous and silky, spread out evenly, and plump your skin. This new version is quite watery, and does not have that same short-term and long-term hydrating effect. It is a shame, but the quality decline is undeniable.Yufu

I normally can't use facial oils because I get breakouts no matter what, at age 62 no less. Plus, I don't like the oily sensation many leave behind. This facial oil is so different. A little does go a long way and while there is that initial "slippery" feel, the oil seems to absorb quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I use this instead of a moisturizer layered over whatever serum I've applied, both day and night. This product is so unexpectedly amazing and multi-use, I was blown away! It's got it's typical uses as an oily occlusive type moisturizer, it works very well on super dry patches. Like eczema flair ups or extreme dryness do to treatments like retinol. But my favorite and more surprising uses are under and over makeup. It sinks in amazingly so if you super dry rough skin that makeup has trouble adhering to, this will work wonders for that. As well as over makeup as a super glossy dewy look that's so unreal. Surprisingly if you tap it in, it won't smudge or move your base AT ALL! Honestly CeraVe has become one of the most surprisingly reliable brand overall. Wow! So glad I found this! I use a strong prescription type of retinol cream that always left me peeling for days. I read another review about using this with it with retinol creams so I gave it try. Amazing! No more peeling and I find I don’t need as much retinol to cover my face. This whole line is phenomenal. This is ideal for those who don't want a harsh scrub as it does exactly what it says on the label, it's a smooth scrub; for want of a better word, it's gentle. It's gentle on the skin but still exfoliates as it should due to the little granules mixed in the scrub. Apply rubbing in small circular motions is best, I found. Make sure to get it all off though, running your hands over your face later and finding remaining granules on your face is the mose annoying thing. I haven't noticed anything extraordinary about this product but my skin does feel soft in the morning after I use this along with a moisturizer. It's a decent serum for the price. Not sure I would purchase it again but I haven't used it long enough to have a strong opinion on results. So far I like it but don't love it. Actually I feel this way about most philosophy products. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this serum is. It has done everything and then some that it claims to do. However, I hate the bottle. It is difficult to get out; the dropper drips. I have lost about $10 worth of product; it is $45 an oz. To put it on your face, neck, and chest area…. I wish it had a tube type bottle and not a dropper bottle. It is a bit pricey too. The last serum I used was $45 too; however, you received two ounces in a no waist pump bottle. I will keep using Renewed Philosophy serum, because it is such a better product. Vox Box for the win. I received the new Philosophy serum complimentary in return for my honest review. Typically I use retinol products with a light moisturizer but for winter I was thinking it might be nice to have some thing a little bit heavier on the moisture so I was really happy to get this. The alpha hydroxy acid helps to lock in moisture and creates a more finished appearance (not crinkly and dry). It has a nice neutral smell and smooth application. A little goes a long way and it’s reasonably priced for how much is in the package. I now want to purchase this for my mom.katy.m
