Best Products For 2B 2C Hair (2023 Update)

This is my new favorite hair product. As someone with a lot of hair, but very fine hair, it’s hard to find a product that doesn’t weigh me down- this allows for my hair to have shape and volume that lasts. The best results I’ve had came from using a denman brush to curl my hair, smoothing the roots over once. This method achieved beautiful formed waves for three days after. Verb is much less expensive than other curl products I’ve tried and it out performs all of them. I would highly recommend this to anyone with loose curls or waves, especially those with fine frizz prone hair like me. For reference I use this after I wash my hair with a kevin murphy cowash. Wow, I love this! I was hesitant because I see a lot of influencers use it and I always worry that that over hype things. But it really does reduce frizz and hold curl. A little goes a very long way, so it is easy to overdo it. My hair is 2C/3A and I live in a pretty dry climate and this was the perfect balance. I will say it did seem to "weigh down" my hair a bit more than other products, however, I'll take slightly less volume to have non-frizzy and light curls. I love Verb products. This one was new to me, but I had to try it. Glad I did! My tired, frizzy, permed curls were dying quickly. I needed a pick- me- up for them and this did the trick. A little, tiny bit goes a long way – all of Verb is like this. I love that because the product lasts, which means I'm not spending a fortune on hair, but getting a good, quality product. Also, the curl lasted all day until the next shower. It's not greasy, smells nice and not like a bunch of grocery store chemicals. It actually lifts my curls and gives a bit of volume without weighing them down like some creams can do. There's movement and the styling is natural, but stays in place.GuenX

I have very fine, high porosity (very absorbent), blonde curly hair. I don't have the best of luck with styling creams, some work and some weigh my hair down, some feel very crispy, some make my hair look instantly greasy. This stuff works! I wash and condition (sun bum regular or Pacifica pineapple curls) and then put a little of this styling cream into my wet but not sopping wet hair. Then I sleep on it and in the morning my hair is good to go. Nice natural looking and feeling curls that stay in. It detangles my hair also, which is great because the only time I dare brush my hair is right before a shower. Can't even use a pick on it, fingers only 😐Curly white girl

As someone who has stick straight hair, I love this product. A disclaimer, my hair is not capable of getting that cute scrunched look. If I want curls, heat is my only option. I shower, add the styling cream (smells amazing), air dry overnight, and then curl in the morning. This is the only product that I have used that will help my hair hold the curls in all weather and all day. I also use very minimal hairspray after curling. I have 3 different textures of hair: the front/sides are soft, tight spirals, the back is frizzy, tight spirals, and the underneath is soft and wavy at most. Wow! This product is like a magic. I just received it today and immediately tried on my yesterday's frizzy curls, and it worked just perfectly even without using all other Cantu products yet. My curls get defined and shiny again, I'm impressed. I sprayed it on my hair by sections and scrunched a bit, then let them dry. Forgive me if I go into too many details about my haircare regimen, but I know the curly girls out there that need to know for this review. I use leave-in conditioner, curl cream/definer, followed by gel for my curls, then scrunch with serum once it's dry and set. I used the Pacifica Curl Definitely Defining cream as my second step product, and it worked well, better than other brands of similar price point. My hair had good definition and volume for a few days. But my real issue with it, is why does it come in such a small container. WHY?? Anyone who has curly hair knows they use a lot of product. I'm mad about it. 4 oz?! That's two weeks of product for me. So I use this as my travel curl cream, but I do not use this on a daily basis because frankly I'm mad about it.Kathleen

I am always hesitant about curl creams and them being to heavy and weighing down my curls, but I absolutely love this one. I started with the smaller size in case I didn’t like it and I quickly had to get the full size because I loved it so much. My curls don’t get frizzy with just stepping out the front door in the FL heat anymore. It’s does a great job with keeping my curls clumped while keeping it still feeling like hair. I LOVE this hair cream!! I found it "by accident" when I was on vacation and forgot my hair gel. I bought a travel-sized one at the health food store there and was NOT disappointed! I was so excited to find a Pacifica product, as they are my favorite. I've been using the Salty Beach Waves hair balm for over 2 years, and now this Pineapple Swirl is right up there with it. I had to buy a regular size. I have a lot of curl in my hair and this really defines and amplifies the curls! It also cuts down the frizz. A little goes a long way, too! I put about a dime-sized of it in my hair when it's almost dry and I'm good to go! I love the natural ingredients and the smell is divine and not at all overbearing. I so wanted this to work after seeing the video. Everything I've tried works and will hold those curls for days. I followed all directions to the letter. For some unknown reason this road did not end well. No curls, My naturally curly hair flatten and the curls were more waves than curls. Absolutely no bounce. I contacted the customer support and was given all of these additional things that I could try. I thought no. I don't have to do anything extra with my other product. This is wash and wear hair. No fuss needed. I rewashed my hair the next day. Used my normal product and the curls bounced back in. Customer service said I had to mail the product back for a refund. I had no way to do that and why couldn't I just throw it out. No they needed it back. It didn't occur to me to take pics. I'm 64. Who does that. I said I'll take the loss and tossed the all in one.Marie G.

It took me a few tries to figure things out. I'm glad I decided to try it out! I found that 4-5 pumps work well for me. My hair is around 3A and a mix of fine and thick strands (low and high porosity) because it's quite damaged from years of doing the Brazilian blowout + super hot straightening iron almost every day. How I apply (hope that helps for anyone): As soon as I finish washing my hair (literally after, while my hair is dripping wet), still in the shower, I divide my hair in the middle, into 2 parts. Then I apply 2 pumps on each side using my fingers to comb it through. I focus more on the parts where my hair is finer. Then I get a half pump and use my fingers to comb through the back of my hair, in parts where I might have missed it (that happened before). Sometimes I feel like adding another half pump to the most damaged parts of my hair. After that, I brush my entire hair using a brush, not a comb. I tried using a wide-tooth comb and it doesn't work as well as a brush. The comb doesn't detangle my hair or leave it as smooth as a brush. I then tilt my head forward and brush it again – but I DO NOT brush my hair from my neck to forehead entirely (if that makes sense). I look down and brush my hair as it falls naturally – it falls on the sides of my head and in front – as if you're looking down, which is exactly how I do. Then I scrunch it. The very front part of my hair (where bangs would be) is quite damaged. So once I'm done and out of the shower, I section that front part out and brush it again to make it even smoother. I brush it up, then pull it to the back and to the side, how I like to style my hair, then I scrunch it again. That's the only application method that worked for me. Hope it works for someone else! Smell: I'm not a huge fan of the smell, it's a bit strong for me. It's definitely not a bad smell though. But once I'm out of the shower and ready to go about my day, I don't feel that strong smell anymore, it smells better. What I like about this product, in its formulation, its actually a hydrating styling 'WAX' not an actual 'butter' oil product. This give curls a light hold thats better than gel products. Don't change this please.Alivia

This product isn't bad but I personally don't like that the cream is so thick. I just find it harder to do my hair with thicker product. But it does the job, it does define my curls and I do think this would also work for someone with more kinky hair.monica.p

In conjunction with the Brazilian foam, this works wonders for my curls. It doesn’t take much application. It also doesn’t make my hair feel dry. I can even go a few days without reapplying product and it STILL looks amazing. I have color treated hair and hydration is a must and this product keeps my tresses moisturized! This curl cream was one of my first purchases from Mielle! I was very excited to use it, it actually worked great for my curly hair at first. My hair actually started growing out thicker. I was also using the avocado moisturizer with this curl cream. Unfortunately, I noticed that with or without the moisturizer, my hair still looked like dry curls! This is my favorite curl cream from their collection and keeps my hair looking amazing for like 3 days after I initially applied it. I usually use gel after curl cream but with this product I don’t have to. My hair texture is 3C and I recommend this if you have the same hair type. This is hands down the best curly hair gel on the market. I use 2-3 pumps for my whole head and scrunch it in after applying a leave in conditioner to very wet hair. It starts by drying hard but then as the day goes on, your hair looks and feels so soft and the curls are still in place. If i’m looking for a stronger hold because of a slick-back ponytail or something, I usually opt for a stronger gel like Not Your Mother’s. However, I still use Uncle Funky’s Daughter every single day and it’s been excellent for my 3b hair! And CGM approved!!! Worth every penny and lasts long.Natalie

I branched out a year ago to try new products for my wavy hair and I stumbled on this one. I wasn’t sure at first because it’s a weird texture. Kinda like a watery gel. I wasn’t 100% sure it would help my hair. Omg. I was so wrong to be skeptical. This stuff is in my everyday hair arsenal. I scrunch this into my wet hair after a shower. Sometimes it’s all I use and it leaves my hair soft and gently defined. If I want stronger definition, I add in Marc Anthony’s curly mousse right after this and scrunch it in with a t-shirt then let air dry. Once dry, I scrunch with my hands or a t-shirt to get the “crunch” out and my hair looks so good after. It holds the waves in nicely all day long and strong.kelly.w

Feels just like snot!! And gets the job DONE! So just so that you know, I’m a lazy 4C natural. Meaning I do bare minimum to maintain a few strands of hair on my non-chemically treated hair. I literally do not use styling products, partially out of laziness but even more so out of fear of breakage and dryness etc. I took a chance, and for the first tome in years, I tried a styling product, and this was it. It’s a gel with the exact consistency of snot. First wash your hair, condition, leave in condition or whatever, and then while your hair is still soaking wet, apply a GENEROUS amount. Finger detangle/shingle/whatever you to that usually gets a little more definition in your hair and boom. Soft not crunchy curls. Such an amazing hold without feeling like your hair is going to fall out. No flaking. BUYER BEWARE: There are two different Foxy Curls products floating around on Home Essentials Direct and they are VERY different. Some of the sellers have not updated their product pictures so you may not get what you think your getting. This review is for the Foxy Curls product with the WHITE cap. I returned the one with the green cap so I cannot comment on that product. I have been using this product for years and I absolutely love it. I am a white female in my 40's with long, thick curly hair that can be frizzy if not tamed. I've tried just about every product out there over the years and this is the only one that has worked for me. I apply it while my hair is wet (almost dripping). This makes a big difference with the final result. I apply quite a bit of it since my hair is very thick. I even apply it underneath my hair. I had to work on the amount I use. To much and it looks like crap. Not enough and it looks like crap so you have to find the amount that works for you. Also, after my hair is almost dry, I "un-crunch" it. This is super important. Some reviewers are saying their hair is stiff afterwards. And yes, it is, however, I carefully run my fingers through my hair as to almost comb it with my hands and soften it. This takes the "crunchy" look away and makes the curls soft but not frizzy. Again, there was some testing with this as to not un-crunch it while my hair is to wet or to dry. UPDATE: After a little research on TIGI's website, it appears the GREEN cap is now TIGI's new Foxy Curls formula. So I decided to give this new formula a try. This is my review on the GREEN cap Foxy Curls. I applied the same application principals as the WHITE cap to compare apples to apples. I admit I was a bit skeptical since they are so different. This new formula is way thinner and goes on a bit easier. I found myself using less of it so that a big PRO! It kind of makes my hair feel a bit slimy when you apply it, but if the final results are what I want, this is not a big deal. After it dries a bit, I "un-crunched" it and the results are similar. It seems to control the frizz a bit better, but my curls seem more weighted down. I think I may have to work on the amount I use. So all in all, I'll still keep the 5 stars on the GREEN cap, since the end result is very similar and I don't seem to be using as much of it now. But I think I like the WHITE cap better. Maybe I just need to work with the new formula a bit more. UPDATE: I've been using the green cap product for months now and like it just as much or even better than the white cap. Again, I had to work on the amount I use. I use less with the green cap than the white. If I use to much, my hair looks a bit stringy. I got a haircut and was recommended this product. It smells good but it’s horrible in the hair. Tried it multiple times but it leaves frizz and residue. Used it today and it feels gross and sticky, and left my hair a tangled mess and I was forced to brush it and now I just have wash again and scrub out the residue. Disappointing. I have been in the market for a new hair gel that's good for my wavy/curly hair. Had been using DevaCurl's Light Defining Gel for a long time as it was just what I was looking for back a couple years ago. But recently I have developed some kind of allergy to it. Makes my scalp itch like crazy. So I gave this a shot with an Ulta hair stylist's recommendation. The bottle seemed small but I was willing to try a new product by a high regarded styling brand such as BedHead.The bottle had a nicely designed pump making it easy to use. I had not realized until I was done styling my hair with this product that I had used about half of the whole bottle to achieve the hold and shine I normally go for with my DevaCurl gel. I was quite shocked. Way too much product used for a brand I thought that would require only a very small amount of it's product to get the look I wanted. I would definitely not buying this cream again. I will stick to a gel because I tend to think that curl defining creams do not have a lot of hold or styling power as a gel would. I have long, fine, curly hair that can be a bit unruly and loves to frizz out in the summer humidity. I try to wash it only two times a week so I was excited to try the curl reactivator to see if it helps revive my curls. It works great in tandem with other curl products like the curl mousse. However, if it's the sole product you are using on your hair I will say that it's not enough to combat frizz, for me at least. That being said, it definitely does what says, it revives curls, especially ones that are 2+ days old. It doesn't weigh down the hair and make it greasy. My hair feels really soft after using. I really love the curl line and I'm glad I have this product in my arsenal.Kymber

Really nice lightweight product that is perfect for wave/curl touch ups. If I’m honest, this isn’t too much different in performance to a watered down hair conditioner, but I love the convenience and that they got the ratio right. I have thinning hair and I love that this product doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it oily/greasy at all. To get the most out of this product, I like to slightly dampen with water and then go in with this. Not necessary to take that added step, but it helps stretch out the product more. It has a nice light scent that doesn’t overpower any fragrance you decide to wear that day. Also a huge plus in my book!betablinx85

I got this at the store today because I am trying to embrace my wavy hair for the summer and put less heat on it. I originally went to get the lightweight curl cream and figured I would get both. I tried this today on day 2 hair and I’m pretty impressed. It reformed my curls and took the frizz away. The only reason I deducted a star is because I felt like I needed to spray my hair with water to get the full effect. I was hoping this alone would do the trick. I will still continue to use this though and maybe on day 3,4,5 I can use without water. I have hair extensions as well and it works on them too. I have loved just about everything I've used from Paul Mitchell. The product seems to do what it is designed to do, only tried it once. However, I would like to know how this product passed quality control due to the smell?!! It literally smells like the bottom of a litter box with 4 Male cats. I had to spray body spray in my hair because I was afraid other people would think I had on dirty clothes. I haven't decided if I will return it since my hair seems to like it (fine loose curls). It's super easy to apply and I was looking for something that not only added moisture to my hair but would help bring my dry damaged curls back to life and this product has been very good so far! It's soften my hair and I can see the hydration by how well my hair stayed together it didn't feel coarse, and controlled my frizz. My wavy curls have definitely improved in bounce. I've only been using it for about a week now but I noticed how well the product was on the first try! Definitely recommend it and will continue to repurchase!Kay

If I spray my longer thin hair with this when damp, my natural curls get definition and less frizz. It's my go to for wash and go days. It reminds me a little of a "saltwater" spritz, but it is very lightweight. My bottle did develop a problem… the spray kept getting clogged! It was so annoying. I though it was like hairspray and ran the pump with hot water, but the problem kept returning frequently. I finally realized it was IN the product. I ran it through a coffee filter and captured tons of hard white tiny bits that had been clogging the pump. Come on, Oidad!?! What's up with that!? Cost you a star lol. I use this daily on my curly hair. It doesn't leave my hair greasy feeling or looking like some of the other products I've used over the years, and I like the light coconut scent. As others have commented, it is a thick product and difficult to get out of the bottle, but my solution for that is to use a pump top from another product (like Mrs. Meyers hand soap) cut to the length needed for the SheaMoisture bottle. I save the screw-on top and use it toward the end of the bottle when the pump won't get out the last bit. Then I turn the bottle upside down, and when that doesn't work any more, I get a plastic knife and scrape the rest out. It's too good to leave any behind!!Barbara C.

I have received Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style milk in exchange from topbox my honest review. I have curly and very dry hair and the tangles are my challenge. This product worked awesome on my tangles and I loved the Coconut smell. It is sulfate-free, paraben-free. Also cruelty free and fair trade. Ingredient list is great. It is super thick, so thick that hard to get out of bottle. It would be even better if it had a pump on the top of the bottle. Other than that it was super amazing. My hair kept the style so long. Anybody with type 4 hair please buy this. I used this for the first time with the curl souffle and my only gripe is that I didn't try this a lot sooner. Super moisturising and lush on the hair. Gorgeous. My hair feels completely nourished and this is just on the first use. I would recommend if you are a thick type 4 you be quite generous when you use it because a fair amount works a long way if you are a tighter texture.Anna

I'm a natural with 4a/4b hair that mainly does wash n goes. I wanted a gel to layer for hold that had better ingredients than eco and wetline. I planned to use this as a topper. I've experienced that this product offers great hold, it does not control frizz very well due to the light/watery consistency. I used a botanical gel underneath and I think my hair would have had more frizz control if I used it on damp hair vs. soaking wet. I feel as if my hair dried quicker while using this product (I did sit under the hooded dryer) and the application was super easy. I felt that it had slip due to the consistency. The hold that this gives is correct. I would describe it as a firm-medium. Definitely not a strong hold. And I would agree with the reviewer that said the curls need to be sculpted beforehand. This is not going to give you much definition alone. Use this for additional hold and control. Overall, I think I would purchase again and I'm interested in trying their strong hold gel.Jasmine

I love this product. After my leave-in I usually have a few tangles, but when I use this cream instead of my usual cream, it gave me the best slip and gets all the tangles out that my leave in did not attack, and I had no frizz. It cut my wash day in half. It used to take me an hour in a half to do my hair (tangles, ugh!), now it only takes 45 – 50 minutes. My curls were so hydrated and defined. I just love this product. Don't let the size of the bottle make you think you need a bigger bottle because a little is all you need…about the size of a quarter if you're doing sections (I do 4 sections) but use it according to your hair density. My hair is a thick density on the top (this was great for that) and my hair is 3C/4A. It works perfect my sista's. Try it. Also, I noticed it has shea butter in it…a major plus for moisture. My process is LCG, I have oil that I use after wash day, but I tell you with this cream, you really don't need it. I didn't. Curl Talk don't ever change the formula!Robbin-Lynn

I have type 3c/3b Hair so I am always needing a good hair gel. I do like the original gel in this curl talk line. It provides adequate hold. Once this gel was introduced, I knew I had to try it. It does have a sticky consistency. But I am sure that is what helps the gel give that extra hold. You will have a hard cast on your hair once it is dry, but u can always break the cast if u want to. This gel holds up to humidity well. My advice since it is so sticky to the touch and to avoid tangling your hair is to apply your typical styling products before hand, and add this gel at the very last. It will be easier to work through the hair and wont leave a tangles mess. This is not a good gel if you feel like refreshing or combing out your hair the next day, just cause the extra hold that it does give. Ok but like where do I begin. This stuff smells like heaven first off and it last. It’s absolutely perfect please don’t ever change this Second this is truly a hair butter. I recently bought this with the hair oil. I use the cream butter, Curl gel, and oil together. I can't say enough how great my hair looks and feels. Every curl is defined and soft and shiny. Like some other reviews state, a little goes a long way so maybe skip the, "apply a generous amount" and start off small. I have fine 3c-ish curls and sadly this left my hair feeling more waxy+filmy than soft+silky. Even though it does offer a decent hold, it doesn't offer a lot of slip–maybe because it's mainly heavy/sealing oil based—so my hair was tangling up a lot as I worked the product through. Unfortunately, this, along with the gel, doesn't really play well with other products so I haven't been able to successfully mix it with something else to get the slip I need. I would reeeeeally love a silicone-free leave-in from Virtue that prioritizes multiple water-based ingredients (like aloe vera, honey, glycerin, slippery elm, etc.) and uses lighter oils or no oils at all—for those of us with finer hair.Kristen

This is the only gel that makes me hair curly/ wavy after I put it on, I don’t need to scrunch my hair to see results, it just starts to curl. After that of course I scrunch it to my desire of curliness* but this is in my top 5 of gels. I don’t like gels bc they contain a lot of harsh stuff that can damage and dry out your hair but this here is the best! You won’t go wrong and the smell is like.. in between masculine and feminine. I can’t describe the smell but in my opinion is smells great. Definitely not fruity, it’s smells woodsy I guess but again I’m not good at describing this. This is the best curl cream i have ever used! I tried so many creams and all kinds of mouse and they would be heavy and weighing down my hair or leave my hair crunchy which i hate so much i used about a dime size amount ( my hair is to the middle of my back) and i put it on my semi damp hair and now my hair is so soft and the best curls I've had in a while. I have fine curly hair that misbehaves between cuts, especially if I’m trying to grow it out. A combination of this product and the REDKEN CURVACEOUS RINGLET works really well as leave in conditioning products. I adjust the balance as my hair grows. If I need more weight I use slightly more of this product. If my hair is long enough and has good weight and needs definition or fly away management, I use the other.Donna T

Knowing your hair type is SO important when using and buying products; I have medium density, low porosity wavy/curly hair and if this sounds like you…I wouldn’t recommend this unless your hair really needs it (i.e. very dry and in need of heavy hydration)! My hair is fairly balanced at this point and I try to avoid heavy products like shea butter! I used this (along with the shampoo/conditioner, also gifted) for a few washes and this continued to weigh down my hair because I think it was a bit heavy for my hair type! It’s a great leave-in and I do recommend it but it’s important to first and foremost consider your hair type! It’s not for me but it smells great and really does work great too so I’m passing it on to my sister and brother who both have very thick, high porosity 3a/b/c curls and I think it’s going to be really great for them!maria.m

As someone with curly, short, damaged, dry hair, I was very happy to try this new product. My hair is also always frizzy. This conditioning mist is the best I've tried so far, I love the bottle it's in, with the easy to spray pump. It is made with aloe vera, shea butter, coconut oil and macadamia oil. It is supposed to keep frizz under control and it really does, since I've been using this product my hair is more manageable, I love that, it also helps smooth my hair to remove any tangles or knots. It's easy to use, just spray all over damp hair and comb through. This smells so good, I love the smell of coconut on anything. It's not too strong, it's just. I have long curly hair and it’s pretty dry (especially at the ends) and damaged (dead ends); this leave in conditioner spray has been a total game changer for my hair! It seems to smooth my hair and make the damaged dead ends far less noticeable and makes my hair look way less frizzy. Also it doesn’t make your hair feel oily or greasy or have a gross texture, unlike a lot of leave in conditioners I’ve tried in the past. Honestly I haven’t even used a leave in conditioner in forever until I used this one, I had pretty much given up on finding one that didn’t make my hair feel greasy and weighted down; but this one has completely changed my outlook. I received this sample size product complimentary to try from Influenster and Moroccanoil for my honest review and opinion. I really liked the smell of this cream. My hair is kinda weird it’s curly underneath but on top it’s more wavy and frizzy. The parts where my hair is naturally more curly curled super pretty and looked great but the wavier pieces it didn’t change much. It felt a little heavy also but I may have just used to much product. I feel i would need to use it a few more times to give a more accurate review but right now I’d say it’s an average curl defining cream. I also let my hair air dry and I’m curious how it would look if I used a diffuser. I think I’ll end up buying a full size and give it a try. My daughter also has curlier hair than I do and I feel it may be better with her texture and curl. Overall I liked it and would recommend it for anyone with curlier hair.Meliss86

I LOVE this product and this whole brand. I was sent a sample of the curl defining cream and the smell won me over instantly. It just makes your hair smell so good. My husband thought it was my shampoo or conditioner, but he told me my hair smelt so good the first time I used this product. I even went and bought the perfect defense heat protector spray after they sent me this sample. I use it after I curl my hair with my straightener and it just makes my hair smell amazing, reduces any frizz left, and makes my curls bouncy. I also let my daughter use it and she loved it as well. She has super curly ringlets and used it after a shower and her curls looked so good. They were bouncy and frizzless. Received this as a free sample from Influenster. The sample size was a bit too small for me to get a full idea of how this product works for my hair specifically as I usually need a few weeks of use to make a fair judgement, but from a limited perspective, my takeaways are as follows: Smell- amazing, the standard MoroccanOil smell Texture- I prefer styling creams and used this in place of my current one and I did notice that this left a bit of a shell to my hair after use. If I had enough to try again, I may use a bit less product next time, though I didn’t use much. Seems pretty concentrated. If I had received a full bottle, I do think I’d continue to use it until it ran out but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this item. Everyone’s hair is different and mine reacted sort of “meh.” Not bad but not impressive either. I think fans of the line will not regret the purchase, however I didn’t find that I had any urge to switch from my current styling cream (although this one smells so much better)roxanneh

I like the product but I don’t love the product. It smelt funny and it didn’t do what I thought it would. I have other pictures of my hair with other products that look way much defined and tamed. Don’t get me wrong my hair looks amazing but this was after sleeping with braids and the product in and a bonnet. Not to impressed by the product. Wouldn’t recommendlaylanni.r

I like that this moisturizer is light soaks right in, I have low porosity hair so this is perfect right after a good wash and conditioning. Whether I’m wearing a wash and go or twisting my hair it’s perfect. I would absolutely recommend this product it runs about $8. First ingredient is water which for naturals is always a good thing.tyvonna.g

This stuff is amazing! I have fine curly hair that I often straighten. This helps restore moisture lost from heat damage. A little goes a long way! (I use this in conjunction with Sexy Hair Seal the Deal,PM Super Skinny and Kenra Blow Dry Spray)I especially love using this when I let my hair air dry and embrace my curls. My hair is naturally curly. I tried many products to try and keep the freeze at bay. The humidity where I live is ridiculous. This actually helped me out so so much. My hubby bought me the dyson hair curler set, as soon as I was done the curls would fall and the frizz took over. I wanted to love the dyson, but was really regretting the amount my hubby paid for it. Mixed chicks saved me totally… I gave it a try with my dyson and it actually worked wonders. I air curled it yesterday and they are still looking good today. This does work on all hair types. My oldest daughter's hair is closer to mine with a lot of frizz and my youngest has the brittle hair texture with the tighter curls. Both are also loving this. Price is a bit high, which is why I wanted to do a review…it is worth taking that chance….I am so glad I did.Penny

My go to leave in. Blends in smoothly and my hair soaks up this product. What needs to be improved is the smell of this product because it's underwhelming. Also sometimes the product can leave my curls crunchy if I don't follow up with a smoothing styling cream or an oil. Other than that I find that these are small sacrifices based off the other leave-in conditioners that are on the market that will sometimes leave my hair with lots of residue or no moisturized. I am no hair expert. I have semi curly, semi wavy, straight in some places, a little dry here, a little oily there type of hair. It just doesn’t know what it is doing. I wash with a very good shampoo, condition, then put this absolute miracle, light weight leave-in conditioner in my hair and all of a sudden my hair gets its act together! With Mixed chicks my hair seems to uniformly curl, uniformly have even, healthy moisture, and I do not need any chemicals! No need for mousse, gel, hair spray, or to apply heat.Big4Momma
