This conditioner is amazing! Of all the conditioners I’ve ever used (I’m in my 20’s so I’ve been through a looot of conditioners!) this one is by far the best. I don’t need a huge amount of it to get my hair untangled, and when I do brush through it I barely have any tangles at all. Okay, at first I was suspicious about this product because I really only knew Sun Bum for their sunscreen so I was a little confused seeing they did products for hair. But guys…this product is AMAZING. As someone who constantly buys products to help her curly hair, this has been a life changer. I bought this on a whim because I was like, what's the harm in another product supposedly for curly hair? Boy was I surprised!! I used to cowash because I was having such a hard time keeping my hair from getting frizzy but as a consequence my roots would get kinda greasy and sometimes my curls didn't look as hydrated as the cowash would advertise. Finallyyyyy I found a product that actually hydrates my hair, makes it look great curly, and isn't making it frizzy or puffy. The only con about this product is that I really really wish they made versions of this product in larger bottles because the conditioner tends to go quickly especially if you have long curly hair like me. Delicious! Smells so good! I bought it to control frizz in my wavy hair. I am using in conjunction with the Curls & Waves Styling Creme and it is a nice combo for soft hair. First off—great protein based gel. It has no glycerin, it’s lightweight and smells amazing. (Yes like blueberries!) But like everyone says it can dry sticky or stiff and limit hair movement if not used correctly. 1. Damp not wet hair—when the hair is too wet the gel will just evaporate leaving the hair frizzy with no definition imo… 2. Don’t use alone—I used it by itself and my hair was giving stiffness. No movement or anything. It also dried up in days. I paired it with their Leave-in (great slip btw) 3. Don’t use too much—a little goes a LONG way. Also note this isn’t your super hold gel it’s very much lightweight, for soft curl definition, so more doesn’t mean more it makes it sticky. 4. It's not often i find something for my curly hair that just works and i need to review to hopefully help others in their curly hair journey. I have a mixture of tight and loose curls and ringlets but my hair is prone to frizz. It doesn't matter what i put on my hair and i have tried everything, 2 days later i have a halo of frizz. This cream is amazing, definitely a holy grail for me. I use it as a curl cream (leave in) and 6 days later i still have no frizz. This is unheard of. I love the creamy texture, don't be put off by the oil in the name as it's not greasy at all. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, defined and shiny. Yes shiny, something curly girls know is hard to achieve. I follow up with either the souffle or gel and hover over with my diffuser so as not to break the cast. Then finally use the serum to scrunch in. My hair has never looked or smelled so good. Worth every penny and i have literally paid a fortune for those sponsored curly hair brands that pop up but leave your hair feeling like straw and do nothing for your curls.Kirsty
Curlsmith gifted me a free sample of this conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. This cream is rather rich, but you need very little product, so it doesn't weigh down the hair. I'd start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. I tried it on two different textures, 3C and 4C, both shoulder length. I got the best results using a nickel-sized and quarter-sized amount, respectively. It makes both curls and coils look healthy, shiny, and hydrated. It doesn't weigh hair down, and I love, most of all, that it doesn't leave hair feeling soft, not crunchy. It looks fabulous and actually feels like hair! I have to note that following the directions is crucial for my desired results, especially on coily hair. I comb it out completely before washing, and constantly rake my fingers through it while washing and conditioning to keep it detangled Once the Oil-In Cream is raked through soaking wet hair, I use the recommended praying hands method to cover the strands as best I can, but I also gently tug as I go to elongate the coils. I find this helps immensely with shrinkage. Tie it up and fluff it in the morning and it's good for 2-3 days without reapplication, unless you feel like a little additional moisture. If you wash weekly, it doesn't leave hair a sticky, greasy mess, either. Overall, while using this cream takes a few extra minutes of care, the results are well worth the effort. Also, considering the amount needed even on thick hair, this jar holds a good amount of product. This is my first experience with the Curlsmith brand, and I'm delighted that it does what it says. I have heard great things about this product on media platforms that I decided to give it a go. I purchased the smaller tub for my first purchase incase it did not agree with my hair. I have tried many products over the years and many products claim to do wonders for curly hair and these many products have ended up being a let down. This product without question does exactly what is says on the tin. From my first use I could see the difference and feel the difference it made to my curls. I have 2c/3a curls. This cream is thick and a little goes a long way. It did not way my hair down at all. My curls were tighter and so much shine to them. There is no cast or crunch. My curls are so soft. The Aussie miracle curls shampoo conditioner are Awesome! This smells so Good. It completely helped bring my natural curls back into play. I use the Aussie Miracle Curls Shampoo Conditioner set in my children’s hair! There hair is very dry curly. It’s difficult to lock in moisture so I’ve come up with a washing routine for there hair to help with this issue. They wash with this shampoo 2 times a week but condition daily. I bought Kevin Murphy products by suggestion of my stylist. I got the Smooth shampoo and conditioner. This is some of the worst shampoo and conditioner I've ever used. Herbal Essence smooths my hair more than these products! The shampoo and conditioner are so harsh are my curly hair, it is left dry and brittle after each time I've used it. My scalp is always itchy also. I use a wet brush in the shower to comb through the conditioner and detangle my hair, but it is a work out with this conditioner. There is no slip. After my hair dries it ends up severely tangled, knotted, and deprived of moisture. Not only are the products poor quality but the packaging is terrible. It's really hard to pop open the caps. I have had to unscrew the lids off every time to get product out. You also can't squeeze them much so that makes it difficult to use all of the product in the bottle as well. Lastly, the smell isn't very nice either. It's tolerable, but not preferable. I wish I could say there was anything redeeming about these products, especially since they were so expensive, but unfortunately these are a huge miss and I can't imagine why any salon is carrying them.Shannon

This conditioner is amazing! Of all the conditioners I’ve ever used (I’m in my 20’s so I’ve been through a looot of conditioners!) this one is by far the best. I don’t need a huge amount of it to get my hair untangled, and when I do brush through it I barely have any tangles at all. It’s also very gentle on my hair and the smell is light and not overpowering. So impressed with this product and very glad to have found it. Okay, at first I was suspicious about this product because I really only knew Sun Bum for their sunscreen so I was a little confused seeing they did products for hair. But guys…this product is AMAZING. As someone who constantly buys products to help her curly hair, this has been a life changer. I bought this on a whim because I was like, what's the harm in another product supposedly for curly hair? Boy was I surprised!! I used to cowash because I was having such a hard time keeping my hair from getting frizzy but as a consequence my roots would get kinda greasy and sometimes my curls didn't look as hydrated as the cowash would advertise. Finallyyyyy I found a product that actually hydrates my hair, makes it look great curly, and isn't making it frizzy or puffy. This is the first product in many years that has actually helped my curls. As a woman of 50+ years of age my hair texture has changed and my curls have not been “right” for years. I do a full wash once a week (clarifying shampoo, deep condition, etc). And once between full washes I only condition my hair the shower. My hair needs moisture. Just got my Black Friday order 3 days ago (amazing deal, by the way) and have washed and styled my hair twice with the Curly system and I absolutely love it! I used to have nearly perfectly straight hair through my teens and early 20's then noticed the texture started to change into my 30's and beyond (I'm 41 now). I was super bummed because I always used to get compliments on my hair growing up, but as it changed it just seemed to be frizzy and crazy unless I used a straightener. I decided to start using various drugstore styling products for wavy/curly hair and had decent results, but it seemed like every time I thought I had a good combo of products, one or two of the items would stop being made or stocked and I'd be back to square one. For the last couple of years I've been starting with spraying a fair amount of sea salt spray to my damp hair to add volume followed by a curl defining spray that I would scrunch in before diffusing. I got compliments on my hair again, but it always seemed a bit dry to me, and if I ran my hands through my hair I would feel a salty residue. I felt there had to be something better for me…I have been seeing ads for LUS on Facebook for at least the past year or so, and was always intrigued, but still too apprehensive to commit to spending a bit more on my hair care, regardless of all of the amazing reviews. However, when I woke up the day after Thanksgiving and saw the awesome deal LUS was offering for such a large bundle of products I immediately placed my order. All I can say is WOW. I feel like it came out nearly perfect on the first try!! My hair is so soft, grit-free, and bouncier and shinier than with my old routine. It really does not take much product at all, at least for my fine hair. I divided my hair into 8 sections and only used either a partial pump or a full pump of the styling product on each (depending on the thickness of the section); made sure to use the great spray bottle to keep my hair damp, scrunched and arranged my hair, then used my diffuser like normal. The application of product took a bit of time, maybe 10 minutes, then the diffusing was another 5-10, but as I get more used to the routine I think it will go even faster. I have been using the 3-step system exactly as instructed for a month and my hair is limp, the curls are weighted down a good 3 inches from the scalp and frizzy. In short, my hair looks horrible. I have tried using less conditioner than instructed, more and less product, and everything in between. The all-in-one styling product is essentially a light leave in conditioner that does not hold my curl shape or provide any manageability or hold whatsoever. I have fine 2C/3A hair and after a month of using this product system it looks like I have frizzy hair with a bonus of zero lift or volume. No thank you. My hair looked fine the first two times I used it, but has gotten progressively worse with each shampoo, condition, and styling. If you have fine hair, stay away from this product. Even though the hair quiz will say it will work for your hair, it will not. I'm sure if you have thick, coarse hair that is 4A-C, this is great. If not, user beware.Stephanie P.
BEWARE – they do not have a satisfaction guarantee. If you try the product and are unhappy with the results, you are just stuck with it. I have 2C curls, and tried the 3 step system in Curly – based on my test results. My hair is extremely healthy, I have been using sulfate, paraben, silicone free products for over 5 years. I do not use heat or color treat my hair, and it is trimmed regularly. I have had a TON of success with the DivaCurl products, but wanted to try something new to see what else was out there. After two weeks of use with the LUS 3 step system I purchased, I was not getting the results that I had hoped for. My hair had this dirty/sticky feeling to it after it dried. Definitely not silky looking or feeling at all. I altered how I used the product thinking I was not using enough water, or perhaps using too much product, but no matter what I did, I had the same results. One pump of product applied in the shower with TONS of water, and my mid length hair still dried and felt dirty/sticky. My hair has much better results with NO product at all, compared to my results using the LUS set. Reached out to customer service to see if it would be possible to return product for a refund and was told that was not an option. They do not offer returns or credits on any type of open product. This is hands down the best curly hair gel on the market. I use 2-3 pumps for my whole head and scrunch it in after applying a leave in conditioner to very wet hair. It starts by drying hard but then as the day goes on, your hair looks and feels so soft and the curls are still in place. If i’m looking for a stronger hold because of a slick-back ponytail or something, I usually opt for a stronger gel like Not Your Mother’s. I branched out a year ago to try new products for my wavy hair and I stumbled on this one. I wasn’t sure at first because it’s a weird texture. Kinda like a watery gel. I wasn’t 100% sure it would help my hair. Omg. I was so wrong to be skeptical. This stuff is in my everyday hair arsenal. I scrunch this into my wet hair after a shower. Sometimes it’s all I use and it leaves my hair soft and gently defined. If I want stronger definition, I add in Marc Anthony’s curly mousse right after this and scrunch it in with a t-shirt then let air dry. Feels just like snot!! And gets the job DONE! So just so that you know, I’m a lazy 4C natural. Meaning I do bare minimum to maintain a few strands of hair on my non-chemically treated hair. I literally do not use styling products, partially out of laziness but even more so out of fear of breakage and dryness etc. I took a chance, and for the first tome in years, I tried a styling product, and this was it. It’s a gel with the exact consistency of snot. First wash your hair, condition, leave in condition or whatever, and then while your hair is still soaking wet, apply a GENEROUS amount. Finger detangle/shingle/whatever you to that usually gets a little more definition in your hair and boom. Soft not crunchy curls. Such an amazing hold without feeling like your hair is going to fall out. No flaking. This spray works so well! We tried it for the first time this morning and it brought my son's curls to life! It's called a gel spray, but doesn't leave a crunchy feel which is great. The scent smells good, but is a little strong. I wish they made a version of this that was combined with the lice repellent spray just for daycare protection, but thats not a complaint.amber.s

In my household, at any one given time, I've got a handful of their products in rotation. This particular line doesn't get as much hype as their others but should. The Daily cleanse shampoo is amazing. It is gentle, yet effective even on the oilest heads. I have three children under the age of 10 that all have different hair types and use this shampoo. I have type 3c curly hair and my daughter hair is type 2c curly hair and it worked amazing on both of our hair. It detangled quickly on both hair and left both hair soft. I have thick, curly hair. But not the cute kind of curly hair, the kind of hair that is just a blob of frizzy mess that has no real definition without product. I received the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk for free from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. This styling cream is nice and thick, and I used it in place of my regular curl cream. It made my hair soft and moisturized, and did a good job of making my hair form and hold curls. The one thing I really disliked about this product was the packaging. It is VERY thick, and does not pour out of the bottle. The bottle is made of a hard plastic that is difficult to squeeze with one hand while dispensing onto the other. I ended up removing the cap altogether and squeezed with both hands to get the cream out of the bottle. The product is much better suited to a jar or a soft squeezable tube. Beside the packaging, I really liked the scent of the cream, and liked that it did not leave a flaky cast or greasy residue. I would repurchase again in place of my usual product. This is an excellent styling cream for curly hair (I have a 3A curl). The scent is great while not being too overpowering and I find the scent does last throughout the day. I shampoo 3 times a week with co-wash using conditioner other days. I use this styling milk right after showering when my hair is still damp but not soaking wet. I use about a quarter-sized amount and massage it into my hair. This product always leaves my curls well defined and bouncy while not weighing them down at all and my curls also hold their shape all day. if it makes your hair feel like straw. you have protein overload, a buildup of protein on your hair. Adding this protein rich product, which works great on hair like mine that needs it, will make your hair feel dry, dull and brittle. if this happens to you, look up how to treat it but basically, cut all protein containing products from your routine and focus on clarifying and moisture for a few months and then keep it balanced. (I think the blue hydro creme one might be protein free but check first, I know its more focused on moisture and has hyaluronic acid in it.) I absolutely love this and the hydro creme. they work great for me and my wavy with ringlets, fine bleached blonde and coarse grey, high porosity, dry, damaged hair. my hair needs protein and the bond repair salve, these deep conditioners and the hold me softly balm have saved my hair, can't wait to try more products.snikic
I have a mix of 3c and 4a high porosity hair. This is the first time i used a curlsmith product, but from the first use i could tell that this is a really good deep conditioner. The scent is light and pretty and the moisture that it gave my hair was amazing. It left my hair feeling very soft which was surprising. it is thick, but it still offers some slip. Once i rinsed the product out my hair, it was still soft and didn't leave a film feeling. I Gave only 4 stars because i haven't used it for long, but i will definitely keep using it.Rachel
I love love love this product and I have only used it once. It defines my curls and leaves my hair soft without the crunch. I have used other Styling custards and curl refiners that have left that icky feeling and hard crunch in my hair. This product smells fantastic even before you open it. It has a jellie like consistency. A little bit goes a long way. I would definitely recommend applying this on damp to slightly wet hair, not dry hair for best results. If I could add a photo I would. This curl cream would be great for you if you’re not looking to have too much hold in your hair. It’s thick, but it doesn’t create a very strong cast for me. As you can see, my hair is already frizzing at the roots and it’s not completely dry yet. There’s no cast to scrunch out. The pump is also really hard to use and only dispenses like a dime size of product with each pump, which means I need to pump twice just to get enough for one section of hair. It is very hydrating, so I can’t knock it down too much, but it is probably my least favorite ouidad product, which is saying a lot because I LOVE ouidad. I’m giving curl quencher gel four stars because it’s definitely an improvement over the heat and humidity climate control gel which used to be my all time favorite go-to product until the formula was changed and it became a huge disappointment. Since I’m wearing my hair longer than ever before my curls need a strong gel that will keep them from getting frizzy. Curl quencher gel works pretty well, but it doesn’t give me that wet look or crunch that some gels create when they dry. (I actually liked that crunch because it held my curls in complete control.) My curls stay defined throughout the day and even the next day with the use of a satin sleep cap. I’m grateful for this product since my 17 year love affair with heat and humidity gel had to end when the formula changed.Pamela D.
I dont know how Ouidad gets away with selling their products for so much. I get better results with Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle. Yes, a drug store brand. Why would I buy this over priced, salon product, when the ingredients aren't any better or more natural? I have natural/4a hair. I used this product after taking down a 6 week protective. I started off by shampooing with the TGIN Rosewater hydrating shampoo ( Which I LOVE). After that, I applied this protein treatment for about 10-15 mins. I immediately followed up with the TGIN Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask.. it left my hair feeling amazingly healthy.My hair went from feeling limp and brown to shedding and breakage, to strong and resilient to shedding & breakage. I'm not sure if I would have gotten these same great results if I didn't follow up with the deep conditioner as suggested on the bottle. Will definitely buy again! 🙂Taylor D
For anyone who doesn't know- protein treatments HAVE TO BE USED WITH A HYDRATING/ MOISTURIZING conditioner as the second step. I am wearing my hair curly and it's hard to tell if my hair is stronger. It did leave my hair feeling dry and I left it in without heat for thirty minutes under a shower cap wrapped in a bath towel. I have been experiencing a lot of split ends, breakage along the shaft and just overall not happy with my hair journey so I am praying for good results. At this price point I recommend trying this product just make sure you follow the directions do you don't end up with more damage.Product Junky
Use this in my 1 yr old’s fine, curly hair as a daily moisturizer along with aloe vera juice and essential oils. I also use it to style her hair, either method keeps her curls soft, moisturized and detangled, while helping to hold her style in place. My texture is thick and curly and my hair has the same results. I do not use it to hold my styles as my texture is too thick and requires more hold. I really wanted to like these products, but they did absolutely nothing for my hair. Left my hair really sticky, lank, didn't allow my curls to clump as well, and as a result it definitely was not as curly as normal. I have 3a/b curls and after using these products my hair looked like 2a/b waves at best. Not good! The shampoo was nice, had a good lather and did remove a lot of build-up, which I liked. However, it left my hair a bit too soft which, when dry, then turned really flyaway. Perhaps if I use it more sparingly, or with other products it may be okay, so I won't rule it out completely. The conditioner was way too thin and watery and didn't absorb well in my hair at all. It just sat on my hair, until I combed it through and then most of it dripped out and ran down the comb whilst I was combing it through. I had the most hope for the curl creme as I've been looking for a product to replace Shea Moisture's JBC Styling Lotion after they changed the ingredients/formula for the worse. However, Only Curls curl creme is pretty pointless. It is very thin, with little to no hold and if you need to use it with the gel for you to see any difference, I just can't see the point in it. I usually only use one product on my hair to avoid build-up and to stop my low-porosity hair being weighed down too much, however I did try the curl creme with the gel to see if it worked any better. Big mistake! The gel was the worst product of them all. Not only did it have an awful chemical smell to it (whilst all the other products smelled lovely) it left my hair sooo sticky and however much I scrunched my hair, the curls never seemed to appear. I stuck with it and tried applying it in different ways – it was marginally better when used on soaking wet hair (instead of damp or 80% dry hair) but even then I still had areas where my hair looked almost straight, and by morning (after pineappling my hair at night) all of my hair looked wavy to straight. Unfortunately, I just don't think Only Curls is right for me. Whether it is because their products don't work well on low-porosity hair, or whether it is just my hair type I don't know, but I didn't like the way it left my hair.Stephanie
I have used the Mini Collection a few times now, with varying results. The first time, I used it according to the Only Curls method. However, I found that squeezing out the water between the lotion and gel didn’t work for me. My hair needs the weight in order to air dry the way I like. I then tried leaving in a bit of the conditioner before adding the stylers, again squeezing out some water between lotion and gel, but the added weight of the conditioner wasn’t enough. Today, I tried adding lotion and gel without squeezing out any water in between, just scrunching as I applied, and then plopping. This seems to have the best result so far, though I did need to add a bit water back in after I removed my hair towel. However, my curls look both defined and voluminous, which is a hard balance to achieve, so I’m really happy about that! I don’t have any problem with my curls falling throughout the day since they are 3b/3c, so I can’t speak to the issue of hold, only that my curls are defined and cast-free, hooray! I did purchase the curl towel as well, which I used the first couple of times along with the Mini Collection, but not the third. I found it actually took too much water out of my hair, which normally would be a great thing but I just need that extra bit of water in my hair to achieve the look I want. So, maybe I’ll try the towel again but not squeeze out as much water. It’s definitely the most absorbent hair towel/turban I’ve ever come across, I’ll just have to keep playing around with it so I don’t take out too much water from my hair. All in all, I’m looking forward to trying these products again so that I can achieve the look I want.
I bought this trial pack because the reviews were so good (and I was being bombarded on social media with the ads!). I have very thick, curly hair which I usually twist into more defined curls with my fingers. After using these products, and following the instructions, my hair smelled amazing, but looked horrendous. The curls didn't hold, it was frizzy, especially the sections where my hair touches my shoulders. It felt straw-like, and the overall effect was a bit like when I used to use mousse in my teens in the 90s! I tried again, twice more, using different amounts each time and the effect was the same. Am I doing something wrong? Apart from that, the amount you have to use and the cost of the bottles, means that this product would work out being unaffordable for the average person. I don't know whether I was doing something wrong, but it definitely didn't work for me. Gave an extra star because the customer service people are really nice.Ruth

The Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner offers a super generous amount of product! I think this will last quite a while, however, as a curly-haired girl, I always run out of conditioner first. What’s really nice as it’s 30.4oz of conditioner, I don’t need to worry. The wide pump is also a nice feature—I can’t stand the skinny pumps which actually can be a pain to get a good amount of product without fighting for it. If you follow the curly girl hair method, know that these contain sulfates. I do appreciate that these are both paraben-free products. I’ve done a lot of work to get my natural hair healthy and in good shape. My hair is rather dry no matter what I do, and I found that the avocado and jojoba oil in the shampoo and conditioner really helps to hydrate my hair. I was a bit concerned because I typically avoid such heavy oils in haircare as it can weigh down my hair or cause build up and greasy scalp. I haven’t experienced any of those issues! After using, times my hair looks, feels, and smells really good, and moisturized. The fragrance is fruity yet slightly floral — in my opinion. Sometimes shampoo and conditioner have slightly different scents but I’m pretty sure both are the same scent. I prefer my hair products products to be scented, however I think if someone is sensitive you may find this a bit overpowering even though it doesn’t last too long. The results after I use the shampoo and conditioner as a system for me are shiny, hydrated curls. Hydration means a reduction in frizz and I definitely have been able to avoid more frizz for a day or two. Also, since the conditioner also has the heavier, fattier oils, I do get a great slip and can easily detangle and comb through my hair as I usually do after shampooing. I was pleasantly surprised with this shampoo and conditioner and I think this will continue to be excellent for when we head into summer and swimming, adding back in the hydration I need from salt and chlorine stripping my hair of moisture.SweetNSpicy

I bought this to try after using the curl talk cream and gel religiously for a while which I LOVE. I have mostly type 2b/c hair with some 3A pieces and don't usually have a problem with definition/volume, but this pretty much gave me neither just made my hair frizzy and I really don't like the way it feels to the touch. It leaves a pretty strong cast that is difficult to get out even when scrunching with oil and if you live in a super humid place like me, then so much humidity will make your hair crunchy all over again. I ignored the reviews in hopes that maybe it would work for me to simplify my routine, but I wish I had just repurchased my tried and true instead. I honestly prefer just my hair air dried with only a light leave in (pretty loose waves-not like what I get with the cream/gel but doable) to what this gives me. I'm gunna try to power through and finish this but I have a feeling I won't. Listen to the reviews and just save yourself the time and money it's not worth the like 2% chance this will actually work for you. Very sticky mousse! Dispensing this foam and rubbing it between my hands felt like I had just opened a bottle of hair spray and poured it into my hands. I couldn't believe how sticky this stuff was! I used a very small amount, applied to my roots first and the combed the rest through my hair with my fingers. After scrunching my hair, washing my hands and blow drying on the lowest setting with a diffuser I was left with wet-looking, crunchy curls. Trying to reactivate the next day by misting my hair with a little water and letting air dry I was left with really dry, hard hair feeling like I had used lots of hair spray. Couldn't get my fingers through it, no way a comb or brush would make it. So happy to wash this stuff out of my hair. Throwing this in the trash and will look for something else. Probably the worst hair product I have ever used and that's saying a lot!Debby
I have low porosity, medium density wavy/looser curly hair. The bottom part of my hair has tighter ringlets/curls while the hair closer to my crown is a bit looser and tends to be weighed down or fall. I use this after applying leave-in and curl cream on wet hair and scrunch in! If I’m using gel, I don’t usually use this since my hair doesn’t really need both! It smells really good (the entire line does!) and it doesn’t weigh my hair down! It’s really easy to emulsify, you don’t need a lot of product. It helps control my frizz and defines my curls much better and it’s so easy to refresh day 2-3 hair with this product too!maria.m

I have 2A/2B fine hair and this shampoo works so perfectly for me! I was afraid it would be too heavy but my hair is always shiny and bouncy after I use it. My hair loves coconut oil but if I use too much I get weighed down, there is not a lot of coconut oil in this so it isn't too heavy. Keep in mind, if your hair doesn't tolerate coconut oil or protein this might make your hair feel dry, which explains the negative reviews. This shampoo smells great and lathers a ton and it's so creamy! I can't really describe the smell but it is definitely different, maybe like… Slightly minty oatmeal cookies? Bought this at my local hair salon as a recommended product for a 2 week period while I wait for my hair color appointment. I think the smell is absolutely disgusting and I personally will never buy it again after I'm out of this bottle. This product is NOT meant for people with curly hair as I find it more drying than moisturizing which is funny because it's supposed to be a moisturizing leave in conditioner. The Hold me down gelle is my go to styler for my wash and go styles. I have 3C/4A high porosity color-treated fine strand dense curly hair (whew!) and this styler gives me the elongation hold and definition for 5 days with minimal touch ups. My hair gets more voluminous each day while maintaining its definition which I love! Day 4 is my favorite because it’s the perfect happy medium for volume and definition for me. This gives me hold similar to wetline extreme gel but without the dryness!!! No flaky residue even for Touch ups. Formula has great Slip btw.Chloé S.
Hi I don't normally write reviews but when something is as good as this gel there needs to be recognition. I was gifted this gel about 4 months ago it didn't really appeal to me but I was in a rush to get to work after washing my hair and couldn't find my regular gel. Long story short, I use the gel last minute on soaking wet hair and no leave in conditioner (I'm 100% natural 4c by the way) and to my surprise not only was my hair moisturized and soft but lasted 4 days straight without reapplying. I am shocked and amazed. I wish I can give more than 5 stars.🤩
I stumbled across the Green Apple & Aloe Miracle Hold Gel online, while searching for a replacement for the Passion Fruit Curl Control product I had used for years. It was getting hard to find and stores would only have 1 or 2 on the shelves or none at all. It also seemed to make my hair come out, but it was the best I could find but began to use it less and less, and just wore wigs. When I saw the Taliah Waajid line, I was pleasantly surprised and ordered it. I liked the "No parabens, sulfates, phthalates silicon, synthetic dyes, mineral oil, animal use, alcohol, gluten or GMO" in the description. I also liked the oils it used: Castor oil, aloe vera, olive fruit and nut oils and vitamins which were in its ingredients list. Well, the result is 5 stars for my 4c very hard to hold hair!!! Past products caked or hardened, and most of all, broke off my hair and mid day, flyaways sprang up and the product melted down my face. This gel is hands down the best one ever. I feel confident I won't look weird at the end of the day, and it STAYS FLAT ALL DAY!!! Thank you!
