I have used this Bissell product for years and i just love it. I wash my floors with a mop with a micofiber mop head or my Bissell floor cleaner. I have all wood floors and after i wash them there is never any scum residue left on the floor. My floors are left with a warm bright shine. There is a extra plus in the fact that if i should get any of the product on my large area rug it (DOES NOT LEAVE ANY STAIN). I have a large entrance way and three bathrooms with white ceramic tile and believe me it helps dirt not to sick to the tile.
Between a small dog, a 2 yr old grandbaby, and regular visitors, my floors get high traffic from little feet, riding toys, and plenty of spills. The Bissell 2x Hard Floor Solutions Formula Cleaner is exactly what I've been looking for to get the grime out of my hardwood and linoleum. Not only has it proven itself worthy for it's strength to pull the ground in grime, it makes the whole house smell refreshingly clean. I use it in my Powerfresh Steam Mop to disinfect as I go and the heat seems to release the smells into the air. It has cut my cleaning time and efforts in half. This us a great little starter kit. First, you need to do your homework because there are no instructions for anything except the controller. I mounted this on my truck's fiberglass topper. You need to pay attention to the grounding locations on the panel and provide a ground wire and nut and bolt to them. Yes, you only need one, but I put in two. The cable connector diameter is 1/4", and connector diameter is 3/4", but once you put in one cable, you need more room to push through the 2nd 3/4" connector. I drilled a 1/4" hole next to the 3/4 hole to slide the cable out of the way. You will need grommets and sealant, or I used a marine through-hole connector. Sealed, of course. My truck cap is slightly curved – enough that if I had mounted the solar panel directly, it would have put a bending strain on it and possibly cracked in. I used 1/4" wood slices to make up the difference. I also bought rubber sheets (8"x 8") from Ace Hardware to place under the "feet" . The kit gives you everything you need except the 12v battery to which you connect. Please note that you connect the battery to the controller first. I use my truck in Search and Rescue support, as a radio relay. This solar panel will help greatly in not running down my battery. It does an ok job adding back shine to dulled out wood floor surface. It's thin milky fluid that is poured on the floor and mopped once the floor's prepped/cleaned. It's an easy application anyone can handle. The issue I have with it is that it requires/recommends microfiber cloth to mop with it. I happened to have one laying around at home but if you don't have one, you need to get one or find an alternative. I didn't catch that at first and used the papertowel to wipe and it left a film of hazy residue on multiple spots which is unsightly. I mopped the area again with a microfiber cloth and went away. I was concerned it would leave chemical odors but it didn't. It contained a lot of different chemical material that makes me wonder what long tern effects it would have on the wood. Overall, it's a nice product to restore the dull surface if you have a hard time doing with normal cleaning.Hockeycc
My husband and I have considered having our hardwood floors refinished. They're dull, scratched and had been heavily abused before we bought our house. I’ve been using the rejuvenate professional wood floor restorer with satin finish for about a month now. My job is to remodel homes. I thought I would give this product a try, and I was happy that I did. Rejuvenate fills in the lines and cracks and restores the floor with a water based polyurethane. Used it in my Powerdash on my new flooring and my whole room is clean and smelling fresh and that is the most satisfying feeling to come in from outside and smell that fragrance that says CLEAN! The aroma of the concentrate is strong, but when diluted with 1 quart of warm water, the Citrus Blossom aroma has a mild to moderate, slightly sweet smell that should not be objectionable for most users. The required concentrate (3/4 fl. oz. or 22 ml) for the clean solution dispensing with the Hard Floor Cleaner effectively dissolved soil (that was not previously visible) on both the textured ceramic tile and hardwood floors that I have in my home. Any remaining cleaning solution left on the hard floor surfaces after using the Hard Floor Cleaner evaporated fairly rapidly and left no sticky residue. I received this item for review purposes and immediately used it to clean my hardwood floors throughout my house. The Cleaning Formula has only a very light and pleasant smell that isn't very noticeable except when you're adding it to the tank. While cleaning, I could only faintly detect it. After cleaning there was no heavy odor. I like when I CAN'T smell a product because I dislike heavy perfumes/fragrances. Also the cleaning was amazing – before now we'd used spray and microfiber mop, but always had residue and a somewhat smudgy floor. I do really like this mop- I do have a few issues with it- the refill bottle doesn’t properly pop out and tends to leak, and the Velcro on the bottom has started coming off which is frustrating. However I do like the reusable pads and the refillable bottle better than my Swiffer! The hand pump is less convent than my other but I don’t mind it! I was really excited about purchasing this because it seems so much easier than dragging a mop and bucket around, but it doesn't meet my expectations at all. Not only does this drag over my hardwood floors and makes it hard to push, but it barely gets anything. This is my 2nd machine. I love the ease of using it, as it doesn't hurt my back like mopping with a large mop however it has its drawbacks. I have multiple large dogs and a family that is in the landscaping business so we always have dirt and mud being tracked in. My kitchen floor is vinyl tile and white so everything is easily noticed. The first one I bought lasted about 8 months and then a piece broke off where the water is sucked into so I had to quit using. I bought the 2nd one and made sure to take extra care but I'm experiencing what many on here have stated. It takes me 3 tanks do to my kitchen which is about 300 sq ft. Because I have to go over each area multiple times. Ii don't mind doing this but it's a lit of starts and stops to get the floor cleaned. However once it's done it looks great. I wish there was a way that you could make the brushes scrub harder for the tough spots, and maybe add a heater to keep the water hot so the floor would be cleaned faster. Also because of its size you can't get into the hard to reach places and you would still have to mop those areas. I will continue to use my machine until it breaks down but hopefully their will be improvement soon. Lastly as everyone has stated the machine does leave water trails especially when standing still, I have just learned to clean those up as I go and when I'm done I have to papertowel the last spot to soak up the water.Colleen
I was expecting great things from this particular PowerDash product. But after reading the reviews, it was true, the vacuum didn't pick up the water left on the floor as I was expecting. I called customer service and she said to add some water in the collecting tank but it still didn't pick up much water. I miss the Floormate (sold out). I will wait for that. I like Hoover products. I realize people can be very harsh and critical and say don't buy this but you gain even better ideas from their comments. I don't expect a miracle from any machine. I can't expect a product to miraculously clean the grout of the tile. It's really a blessing that companies such as yours can give us an easier way of living. I had a floormate for 15 years that needed to be replaced. I purchased the PoweDash Hard Floor cleaner in May 2022 The new machine was flimsy and inferior design from the old machine from the onset. Less than six months later, it no longer works. The machine stopped dispersing the liquid onto the floor. My husband, a mechanical engineer, evaluated the machine with no success. I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond and I was instructed to call the manufacturer. That was done and three days later there is still no callback from the message left. Save your money and the headache. I have used professional kennel and barn disinfectants, and still had the odors. Male cat with kidney issue, and very strong smell. He urinates, then other cat does then the dog tries to cover them both. I sprayed area, let it sit 3-5 minutes and wiped it up with dry paper towel. Waited an hour or so and repeated treatment until odor was gone. Went to the basement and started on it. I just wish I could get it in gallon size! Smells good, not overpowering, worked better than Odo-Ban for Pets and is not as much as pro disinfectants.Cluck

Applied this with an applicator for floors, tried using a deck pad in the beginning but failed miserably. Floor applicator pad was much more forgiving. For a novice I would recommend using this product with knee pads and avoid using a pole. So much better control! Stained pretty dark, but I did three coats because deck pad screwed up my first attempt. Directions recommend two coats. Probably best to apply light coats to get the desired darkness. This one dries fast and is tacky within minutes. Good for smaller jobs.Fawn H
I bought this in Brandywine gloss on Amazon. I have engineered hardwood flooring (yes I know) but anyway I wanted to go darker since I had mix matched flooring by combining old with new plus they were pretty beat up. I scuffed sanded with 150 grit and applied this product with a synthetic pad. Not going to lie its a bit of a learning curb and I have a couple of darker areas from fixing bubbles but I love how my floors came out! I definitely would suggest additional coats of a tuff clear poly as I don't think the wood absorbs this like a regular stain and judging by other reviews. I used Minwax oil modified water based an addition and I could see the difference. Make sure you wait a lot longer then 2-3 hours in between coats and remember the more coats the darker you get I wouldn't do more then 2 coats I learned the hard way!!!!Wendy W
This product saves you an unbelievable amount of time. It's great for DIY beginners. Read the instructions carefully. You will need to prep your floors first by sanding them. You have to let the floors dry for about 2 hours but try not to let them dry a full 24 hours; otherwise you will need to sand again. I have had to remop the floors because of stickiness with a different product and discovered my floors were still dirty as the residue left was picked up on the second mop head. Recently we ran out of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner and happened to get the new and improved version. Don't waste your money! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. What should have only taken the company a couple hours now will take the entire day. And I have to spend extra money to have the film removed. First things first, I love that there are so many color choices for this stain! It took me forever to decide betqeen a fun color or traditional stain, but in the end I went with Buckeye Brown. I also loved that it was low odor, so I could use it inside without irritating my mini pigs sensitive snout. Minwax has a great tutorial on how to use this product on their Youtube channel, and i highly recommend checking it out before starting your project. I unfortunately could not find the Pre Stain conditioner that is recommended, it was sold out at the 2 locations I went to, and I feel like my results would have been a little better if I had used this before the stain. This product IS thicker than I expected, and it is a bit messy, so just prepare your work area accordingly. I tested the stain on an extra piece of wood first so I knew how long to leave it on before wiping, and found that a minute and a half was just about right, and a synthetic pad worked better to wipe that a rag did. Overall the process took longer than I was anticipating, but it turned out pretty well. Seriously do yourself a favor and watch the YouTube video, it really did help me to better prepare my project. I will definitely be purchasing this product in different colors for other projects in the future, cant wait to try the fun colors next!Ginag
Bought this in Carbonite at Lowe's. The color on the top of the can matched the swatch so thought I was good to go. Went home and applied it PER THE INSTRUCTIONS on meticulously prepared wood. Tried it on an inconspicuous first thank God and let me assure you it in NO WAY looks anything like the photos Minwax is peddling online. It's just not a solid stain, at least this shade isn't. To achieve the color I expected per the pic on the website you would need MULTIPLE coats. I actually bought the solid version of this stain because the semi-transparent version was also complete garbage. I thought I just had some bad luck the first go round but no, the water based stains are an absolute waste of money. I'm out $30 if you count the semi-transparent can I bought too, and since Lowe's won't accept returns on tinted paints I came here to go full-on Karen. If I can't get a refund I can at least give a super duper honest review, which will achieve absolutely nothing buy it has made me feel a bit better so there's that.MinwaxKaren
The Minwax Water-Based Stain does a lovely job highlighting the wood grain in the item you are staining. First, before you purchase this product you have to pick the color of the stain that you want. I had 40 choices to choose from, out of this entire job picking the color was the hardest, soooo many colors to choose from. Colors like pink, blue, purple, pink, tea, blue, red, gray, etc. I believe there were 40 colors to choose from. I almost picked orange but saw the Pecan color and knew that was the one. Because it's a water-based stain it doesn't have a horrible smell. The Minwax label says that the stain is 5x thicker for easy application, which I can verify. We waited patiently to see the results after we applied the stain with a sponge brush. The two minutes went by pretty fast and we were able to wipe off the extra. The color is great and the stain really did bring out the wood grain. We did want to try it and wipe it off write away. The color was stunning only it didn't bring out the grain. My suggestion is to wait the two minutes. Seeing the wood grain just gives it a bit more richness to the color.Babshoun

My wood laminate was dull and whitish matt for some reason when we installed it and finished all the decor. No matter how much I'll mop the floors it just had this whitish look, though laminate itself did have a little bit of shine before we laid it. I tried this product and it did make it glossy and eliminated that white shade. I used microfiber mop to spread it and it did the justice to my floor. Looks good. Don't know how long the shining will last yet as just did this today, but there's still left for couple more times. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of it. Love this product so far! My husband put down a coat of the Floor Restorer about 2 months ago ( only after using the Rejuvenate Daily Floor Cleaner). It has held up well on our new floors. We have a 1 year old black lab puppy, two cats and a whirlwind of a toddler all over these floors, all the time. I just cleaned the floor with the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner and put another coat of the Rejuvenate All Floor Restorer over where my husband did a spot two months ago, you can barely tell where he did his spot before, it looks so shiny and uniform, and we aren't slipping on it constantly. It's kept our new floor nice and scratch free. In our kitchen, it's been down for two months also, I couldn't get a good picture, but it wears down to what the floor looked like before we applied the Restorer to it. I highly recommend this product, just follow directions carefully and use the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner on it beforehand. On a side note, to do a quick clean I use the Great Value Wet Mopping Cloths on it a few times a week, and it doesn't seem to affect how quickly the finish wears at all. The only thing that seems to affect the wear of the All Floor Restorer is how often foot traffic goes over certain areas. The pictures below are in the living room, I have to do it in sections so I took a picture of where I stopped with the All Floor Restorer, so you can see the difference between the floor before and after. Also, my cats decided they were going to walk over where I applied the Floor Restorer about 10 minutes after I was done, and they didn't leave footprints. I used this product on my ceramic tile floors. It was a disaster. After a couple of weeks, I noticed, spots that looked dirty. I mopped and mopped, but this mess would not come off. I had to get down on my knees to try to scrape it off. I finally used Goo-Gone paint remover and it took the spots and stains right off. It's very beautiful when its done correctly but I am having problems removing it off the floor because of the uneven settings of the polish leaving streak's. I have great appreciation for wood floors and upon trying to remove the polish, what it looked like when I tried to clean it with soap and water, didn't sit well with me or *my floor*. I was going along with the instructions which leaves me with stress trying to remove it from *the floor*. I enjoy easy to remove floor products. I've been using Orange Glo for many years and never found anything as simple to use that produces such outstanding results. Three-quarters of my circa 1950s home is covered with original hardwood floors. Looking at these floors you would think they were a recent addition thanks to Orange Glo. Small scratches disappear with a single application. The simplicity of the process makes this a double thumbs up product. I vacuum up dust and pet hair; use a damp flat microfiber mop and squirt the letter "S" in a 4-foot area, apply with the wood grain and move on. (3) Rinse the mop into a bucket of remove the dirt. Move to the next area of the floor and repeat the process. Your floor will normally dry to a beautiful shine in 10-20 minutes. Helpful Hint: If your floor is very dirty, clean first with a floor cleaner. Try Lysol all purpose cleaner, and then use Mop & Glo triple action floor shine cleaner. If your floor shows signs of build up or discoloration regularly remove the older layers of polish with the following process: mix 1/4 cup of Lysol all purpose cleaner and 1 cup ammonia in 1/2 gallon of warm water and spread over floor (do not mix bleach-based cleaning products with ammonia). |

Needs 10 stars! I am in love with this cleaner. I have hard wood, linoleum, and tiles. This takes care of all 3 and works like a charm on all 3. I use it for day to day quick mop and my deeper weekly mopping. Just squirt and mop. No rinsing, no streaks, no sticky residue! It smells great and can get the tough spots. This review says it’s for a 6 pack. (Pack of 6) It was the only choice I saw to review the product but I’ve never seen a 6 pack. If I did I would buy it. Idk if it’s cause it flys off the shelf or what but it’s hard to find in stores so when I see it I buy a few at a time 3-4 if possible. Running a home daycare means a LOT of mopping and this is my go to product. For ease and performance. Plus it smells good. BUY THIS!dee.a
If I could give this no stars, I would. This product leaves HORRIBLE build up. We have spent the last month on our hands and knees scraping build up off my wood floors with pizza cutters. Even the strongest cleaners and chemicals wouldn't lift it. Throw it away and use vinegar and water to clean, and a little baby oil to shine. VERY disappointed in this product.Ember Olsen
This is terrible for vinyl. It looks great when you first apply it but as you walk on it the finish browns and starts to rub off and when that happens you can literally get on the floor and scrub it off with a paper towel. Looks awful, looks like you've got dirt stains on the floor.SJ
