I was able to try this product in exchange for review, which I was thrilled about as I have always wanted to try this particular Shea Moisture line. I have heavily highlighted and have attacked it quite regularly with hot tools. Add in pandemic self-done haircuts, my hair has been feeling rather dry and brittle. After two weeks of using this shampoo, twice a week, My hair feels moisturised but perhaps a little too much so. For my particular hair, I cannot use this is my go-to shampoo, but more as a twice a month or so treatment shampoo. The texture is not like any I have tried before, it is a semi-viscus liquid that pours out like a watery honey, not at all like a standard shampoo, so pay attention in the shower! The smell is a comforting warm vanilla. For my hair this product is a little too moisturising to use with every wash, but if you have coarser hair than mine, I definitely say give it a whirl. I will repeat purchase, as this shampoo does strengthen & restore my hair due effective natural components: Jamaican Black Castor oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter & Peppermint. It's sulfate-free, eligible for colored hair, by the way. The scent is really extremely pleasant like parfume for hair. My man loves the aroma & makes compliments. The only minus that I detected is that as It nourishes hair, my hair becomes one day ahead in comparison with other shampoos with cleaning leading role, not restoring. But I am completely OK with it, as benefits prevail. After use my hair has beautiful silky shine & it becomes healthier. It has helped me to resolve hair loss as well. I recommend this shampoo because of effective natural components & it really worked for my hair. This is my 2nd bottle & will buy more, but in large volume 384 ml! I was able to try the Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo as a #freeproduct with #trywithtopbox & was pleasantly surprised. Keeping in mind this is a restorative shampoo it's very unconventional in the way it looks, smells & shampoos the hair. I was very skeptical but was used to it by the 2nd to 3rd time using it. It doesn't suds up/lather as much as a regular shampoo but it does if you really massage the hair well & give it a second shampoo. The color doesn't bother me as I said you get used to it. My hair didn't have the traditional "clean" feeling the first time I used it but there's a definite silkier almost more creamy feel to the hair after using it which is nice. This was a nice surprise! After using it for a few weeks now, I feel like again, I'm used to it & it leaves the hair clean & amazingly hydrated. Keep in mind this is all because this shampoo is sulfate-free (which is a good thing!). So give it a chance! You wouldn't necessarily use this if you have a ton of product in your hair you need to get off (lots of hairspray, gel etc,). This could be used for the second round of shampooing. So recommend to use this when you need some hydration & your hair is heat damaged. Also big plus it didn't burn my eyes which is my number one test with any shampoo especially when I saw the highlighted ingredients as peppermint & apple cider vinegar. I detest mint in general (esp in hair care) & have used products with lots of tea tree oil etc. & do not like it. So points for being subtle smelling & not harsh. Honestly didn't even notice. I have been using the Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo for a month now. I really like the coconut scent, it lathers really well and I was very pleased that a little goes a long way as I have very long and thick hair. I wash my hair every 3rd day, but I wet my hair and condition it every day. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner the 2nd day. I always use leave in conditioner but that day I had to use double the amount of what I normally use. Otherwise my hair felt & looked dry & frizzy. The product definitely did help with detangling my hair, not totally, but to a great enough degree where I was pleased. I didn’t notice any improvement in shine though. I was hoping to experience much more of an overall difference from all the various products I have used in the past. No huge noticeable difference, and more expensive than what I currently use. I love that Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo contain no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil. However, I remembered, that I purchased this shampoo and matching hair masque. However, for the information on Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque, the page is unavailable. My budget is tight at the moment, but I usually save up for what I need. I need the Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque. So I really enjoyed using the product on both my baby girl and my own hair. Because we have very very different hair types, I noticed some important things. She has a healthy head of very fine, very varied coil curls. The shampoo worked great on very wet hair, it lathered well for a clarifying shampoo without turning her hair into dry grass. I rinsed twice to make sure the water ran well and clear. The conditioner was light and moisturizing, as promoted. I took the time to work it into all strands while damp to slightly wet with a curly hair wet brush. Afterward rinsing the conditioner lightly, I put in the styling cream. Here I realized I'd put in way too much, but the effect was still very good. Her curls were less prone to tangling, moisturized and made beautiful defined coils. My hair is fine but wavy, not curly. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. Overall, on straighter finer hair, I'd say use the conditioner thoroughly but rinse very well and easy on the styling cream. I didn't experience any waxiness anywhere.Thali22

I like to try new leave-in conditioners. Hardly ever buy any twice. I will be purchasing this again & again. Great for detangling hair. I let my hair air dry and leaves it soft, straight and smooth. No frizz at all. Does not leave hair feeling weighed down at all. For reference I have medium-dark hair that's dyed w a few blonde streaks, hair down middle of back. When you have curly hair, you get tired of always having to style it with 15 products at a time (exaggerating of course). Sometimes you just want to wash it and be done, while looking good enough to go out in public. This is my go-to for those kinds of days. I have been using this line of healthy sexy hair products for years. I switched to another shampoo a few years ago though after they changed their soy moisturizing shampoo to some garbage that had nothing but oils in it. They removed literally all of the cleansing agents and it left my hair so greasy. It was awful. However, I stuck with the leave-in conditioner up until a couple weeks ago. They've now changed their formula on that too. They've changed it before, but it still worked. But whatever they've put in the bottle now is just terrible. I had a suspicion something was different after noticing the bottle had changed (since that seems to be the bat signal equivalently of "we've completely ruined your favorite product"), but after one use I could tell something was off. My hair felt dry and frizzy, and my blonde looked brassy. There was no life to my hair AT ALL. I will seriously never understand why companies change their formula on perfectly good products. It seems to happen with literally everything I find that I like – I'll fall in love with it, use it for a few years, then BAM! CHANGED! Sooo aggravating. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav

So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. It provides a thick rich and full leather without having to use 17 pumps of shampoo. I Projects like that mielle products are parabens and sulfates paraffins and mineral oil all free. I will be the first to say that being that I have for sea hair this is not a detangling product. Moisturizing absolutely. Cleaning your hair it also removes all the impurities. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. I've used this product several times since my purchase and I've found it to be a terrific product! I typically use it before applying Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment. I like this leave in conditioner it has a water like consistency. It has almost a fruity pineapple scent. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling. It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. This Elixir has been a game changer for me. As skeptical as I was I'm so glad I gave it a chance. About two years ago my hair completely stopped growing and it was always dry and unmanageable. LOVE!! Used this after using the Blondage System it helped with breakage and made my fragile blonde hair soft, strong and shiny! I have tried everything from bonding systems to masks. Here is exactly what I did: 1. Sprayed the Blondage High Bright Treatment in sections all over my damp hair and let sit for 5 minutes (Do not Rinse) 2. Shampoo 2x with the Blondage High Bright Shampoo 3. Condition with the Blondage High Bright Conditioner (I like to rinse with cool water for healthier hair) 4. It felt dry but I put in the Extreme Bleach Recovery leave in cream and then 5. Sprayed the Extreme Anti-Snap Spray and Beautiful Healthy Blonde Hair! As first, Im like all organic, eco junkie…so with this product I really stepped out but there is nothing similar to this product. I have fine hair, gets curly and as its fine and dry it gets into knots.. Im quite gray so have to colour my hair and although best colours it dries it down. I almost finished the bottle, so can leave a fair review, and cant remember when I bought it, so lasts ages. With this discovered less is more, really a pea size is enough for my hair, its bellow shoulders, around scapula. I put it in wet washed hair.. it somehow instantly detangles the ends, makes hair smoother, and somehow looks tidier when dry also.. Really like it. After washing my hair I actually look forward to spraying this into the ends of my wet hair before styling or drying. I make sure to get the length and ends of my hair and try to let it air dry a bit before using a wet-brush or hair dryer. What a difference I noticed after, probably, the first three times on my extremely damaged hair, post a perm and continued coloring. Sometimes when I am in a bit of a hurry I will simply wet the ends of my hair and spray/comb thru a bit of the Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-In Treatment for Damaged Hair and scrunch my hair and allow it to air dry while I'm heading to whatever my event is. When I arrive I brush my hair and it looks fresh and illuminates most fly-away ends and provides a quick smooth finished to otherwise on styled hair. I use this along with Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo and Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner (both are anti-snap). It's the perfect trio and also a wonderful stand alone product for your hair prior to drying and styling.MayBeeSheWrites

This product smells amazing on my hair and the scent lasted till the next time I washed my hair!! The conditioner detangled my hair with ease. My hair feels super soft and looks shinier. Love this shampoo and conditioner so glad I tried it! My hair is so much more manageable and I can’t believe how soft it is. It literally feels like salon hair. It is pricey but worth it to me because I normally don’t even use conditioner. Olaplex hair care is turning my hair goals into success. I struggled with my hair care up until now. I saw my friend using it and I immediately wanted to try it because it made her hair look so nice and healthy. I use their shampoos and conditioners, their bonding oil, and their hair mask. They have numbers for certain hair goals and it didn't take me long to find the right one for me. On the website they have description on their products and what numbers do the best for you. This can lead you do find the type of hair care your hair needs. I'm a bright blonde so it is tricky to find the right products to keep that color. Olaplex doesn't make my color last any less. So for people who have colored hair and worry about it this is for you. Before the using this line my hair color only lasted about 3 weeks. This is such a fast fade. After using the products my hair has kept up with the color and had lasted longer than 3 weeks. I consistently use their purple shampoo once a week.Other shampoos and conditioners fade my bright blonde hair. This was so frustrating because then I would have to go back for so many more appointments then I needed. Olaplex keeps my hair bright blonde and maintains it. Although they are expensive and come in medium sized bottles I think they are still worth it. The shampoo and conditioner are 30 dollars each. This isn't so bad because you get away with using just little blobs that goes a long way. The shampoo is number 4 and the conditioner is number 5. The next product I use is the number 8 bond intense moisture mask. This mask sits in my damp hair for 10 mins. After that I go back in with my shampoo and conditioner. This makes my hair styleable and has more body. This keeps my hair shiny, smooth, and healthy. This product is also 30 dollars. I think this price might be a little much because it comes in a smaller bottle. But in the end process it is giving you what you are looking for. I usually use this hair mask once a week. I try to use it at the beginning of the week to get it prepped for the week full of styling. The next product I use is the bonding oil. This product is made for dry or wet hair. It is a heat protectant, detangler, enhances shine, and reduces frizz. For me this product met all the criteria. The bonding oil number is 7. The smell of this product is great. I mainly use this product when I get out of the shower to help detangle my hair and keep the frizz away for the morning. This keeps me waking up with my hair staying shiny. I also use it when I'm about to style my hair when it is dry. I only put it on my ends and then I continue to style my hair and apply heat. Now this product is also 30 dollars. I think this one is way overpriced because it is a super tiny container. Especially if you use it every single night. My hair before has been rough. Split ends after split ends, dry hair, and washing it constantly. My hair has always had terrible split ends and it was so hard for me to figure out why. After trying so many different products I finally feel like I found what helps me the most. Since I get my hair dyed and style it so often it does go through a lot of damage. Continuing sports as well makes it hard for me to not wash it as much so it doesn't get as dry. Bur after finding what I needed this is perfect. But overall I think the brand is perfect for people who need this type of hair care. It is also great because their line is made for every hair type, it just depends on the condition of your hair.madison

I bought this for my wife and she use this with the No.0, No.3 and the No.4 I must say the combo of these products together is amazing. Her hair was pretty much destroyed frome excessive styling, blow drying and box dyes. We could totally tell a difference after just one use of these products. Her hair looks healthier, has more shine and manageability, doesn't look as damaged, she isn't yanking out knots when she wakes up and brushes her hair plus it has so much softness and looks smooth not frizzy. It seems like the texture, strength, and even the way her hair is laying is totally changing. The smells not over powering which is something we both love because sometimes hair fragrances clash with perfumes but not Olaplex it's perfectly balanced. Unlike a lot of conditioners it doesn't take a lot to cover your hair and even though the bottles aren't the biggest which was kind of a let down the magic that comes out of those bottles can't be beat and it's so worth it! I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results. It’s made me finally feel like I can get my hair back to something I love again. I've been using the WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Coconut Avocado Conditioner for the past 2 weeks and absolutely love them! I've used apple cider vinegar on my hair so I was intrigued when I saw this shampoo. This shampoo works gently to clear build-up and dandruff on the scalp and nourish hair. It works into a nice lather a little goes a long way. It's left my hair clean, shiny and soft. The WOW Coconut Oil Conditioner is ideal for dry or stressed hair. When I opened the conditioner I exclaimed "WOW this smells fantastic!" It makes me feel like I'm on an island sitting under a palm tree and relaxing. It smells that darn good! It's a very thick conditioner but rinses out easily. Between the two of them my frizz issue's aren't there so I'm a happy camper!Lisa J.

I used the WOW products hoping to improve my dandruff issues and detoxify my scalp. The ACV shampoo lathered well, washed out easily, and left a noticeable apple cider vinegar scent. It made my scalp oily and itchy after a day or two. My scalp is not usually oily. My scalp flaked more than usual. I was using it exclusively, but then I began alternating its use with my usual shampoo, which does not make my scalp oily, because I was concerned that the WOW products were too harsh. The conditioner is very thick. I use it on the ends of my hair, not on the scalp. It has a noticeable coconut scent. The labels state there are no sulfates, but the usual sodium lauroyl sulfate is replaced with Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. I do not know if this is comparatively healthy. It has other chemicals, including sodium benzoate. I did not notice more shine to my hair. These WOW products may not be the best ones for me and my hair concerns. Only been using it about a month, so, don't know yet about regrowth, but I've stopped getting handfuls and brushfuls of hair. Makes it feel fuller, as well. The shampoo is very concentrated, doesn't take a lot, but the conditioner tends to be lacking. Takes a lot of product, and it doesn't feel that "conditioned", but I'm going to keep on track until I find out if there is regrowth or not. I purchased this shampoo and conditioner combo because of all the lawsuits and claims about my normal shampoo and conditioner, which was Organix in the purple. This stuff left my hair SO dry that I could barely comb it even after spaying a ton of CHI leave-in-conditioner on it. Definitely going back to Organix which I never had any trouble with to begin with and I’ve been using it for about 3 years. I got highlights in my hair in May and since then, my hair has been the driest it's ever been. I had tried so many different masks, shampoos, conditioners and nothing was working. I was hesitant to use this shampoo after smelling it, but the reviews are amazing. My hair wasn't damaged, but I could use the extra healthy moisture from this shampoo. After my first use, I noticed my hair felt dryer and almost crispy. I had just colored my hair the day before, so I figured it was that. I used it again 2 days later and it was worse, I now have split ends. I'm working on growing my hair out after damaging and buzzing it off a year ago, so I do not want to have to trim it. I'm using tons of split end mending products now to fix what this shampoo did. Maybe it's too strong for my hair? It really brings out the natural curl in my hair. I prefer using clarifying shampoo and then leaving this on for 15 minutes. My hair feels noticeably soft and healthy. I never knew how curly my hair naturally was until I started using this. I would say I would have identified my hair as 2A before using this mask and a 2C after. I basically look like Taylor Swift on her debut album now. I do think it is expensive but for what it does I am happy with the price for it. I find that I do not use much at all each time I use it so it lasts a long time. I have experienced hair loss with it but nothing that would worry me. I would say normally I would lose 5-10 hairs in the shower but now it is more like 10-15. This conditioner left my hair silky and soft. It claims to detangle the hair and that’s true. Other than that I didn’t notice anything special about this. I think it does the job for softening and detangling and that’s about it. The other claims I don’t know about. It’s also overpriced for something that’s not special. I can get something cheaper that does the same thing. The reason why it only has 3 stars is because of the smell. It doesn’t smell that good. It reminds me of a more masculine scent. I smell musk or a woody note. I know many people like that and for me, it’s OK. I rather have a more feminine scent for my hair products. So I wound up buying this because I really wanted a better conditioner and have noticed over the years that every salon and every hair dresser I go to uses this in my hair. My hair always feels great after so maybe this was the key. Let me tell you how amazing it is. My hair has never been so soft and shiny. I have fine straight hair that has been permed and then chemically straightened, so super damaged. Also mid back in length. I tried this product because I heard rosemary oil promotes hair growth. Idk if that’s true so far BUT my hair does not turn into the daily ratty birds nest anymore. The frizz is gone and I can wear my hair down all the time and it doesn’t tangle every 5 mins. The night hurricane Ida hit I was sitting in my home in four feet of water when I noticed my Kiehs Magic Elixir floating by me as I perched on the top of my sofa chair. I looked around and everything I owned was either under water or floating. I was horrified. The next day we were rescued by boat and I could only take a handful of items. I happened to see my Kiehls Magic Elixir and picked it up and took it with me. I had nothing else for grooming. In an act of desperation, I not only used it in my hair, I also used it on my face, which had become dry and chalky. To my utter surprise, my skin was glowing and supple. I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I will never use this product again. And the snapping people comment about is real and with extreme hair thinning.Lisa R

I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. My hair is shiny and there is less hair in my comb and brush.Sab

I was very happy to find this shampoo on Walmart.com. My first purchase of it was from Amazon and the shampoo was very thin and watery, I was not happy with the amount I would have to use to just get a lather. This new bottle from Walmart was so much better, the product was thicker and I'm not having to use as much to attain a good lather. I have been using for a couple of months and so far I have noticed that I am not having as much hair loss and I seem to have a lot of new growth. It leaves my hair feeling light and not weighed down as some shampoo do. Overall I am happy with the product, only complaint would be the smell but that is probably because of the tea tree oil, I hate that smell. As long as it works though I can deal with the smell, it doesn't smell strong once it is rinsed. Good product overall!Stacey
