This is hands down the best curly hair gel on the market. I use 2-3 pumps for my whole head and scrunch it in after applying a leave in conditioner to very wet hair. It starts by drying hard but then as the day goes on, your hair looks and feels so soft and the curls are still in place. If i’m looking for a stronger hold because of a slick-back ponytail or something, I usually opt for a stronger gel like Not Your Mother’s. However, I still use Uncle Funky’s Daughter every single day and it’s been excellent for my 3b hair! And CGM approved!!! Worth every penny and lasts long.Natalie

I branched out a year ago to try new products for my wavy hair and I stumbled on this one. I wasn’t sure at first because it’s a weird texture. Kinda like a watery gel. I wasn’t 100% sure it would help my hair. Omg. I was so wrong to be skeptical. This stuff is in my everyday hair arsenal. I scrunch this into my wet hair after a shower. Sometimes it’s all I use and it leaves my hair soft and gently defined. If I want stronger definition, I add in Marc Anthony’s curly mousse right after this and scrunch it in with a t-shirt then let air dry. Once dry, I scrunch with my hands or a t-shirt to get the “crunch” out and my hair looks so good after. It holds the waves in nicely all day long and strong.kelly.w

Feels just like snot!! And gets the job DONE! So just so that you know, I’m a lazy 4C natural. Meaning I do bare minimum to maintain a few strands of hair on my non-chemically treated hair. I literally do not use styling products, partially out of laziness but even more so out of fear of breakage and dryness etc. I took a chance, and for the first tome in years, I tried a styling product, and this was it. It’s a gel with the exact consistency of snot. First wash your hair, condition, leave in condition or whatever, and then while your hair is still soaking wet, apply a GENEROUS amount. Finger detangle/shingle/whatever you to that usually gets a little more definition in your hair and boom. Soft not crunchy curls. Such an amazing hold without feeling like your hair is going to fall out. No flaking. I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. What a shame. I will never buy another Shea Moisture product. They used to have amazing ingredients, now they have all weird chemicals and the smells changed badly. I went to CVS because I ran out of leave in conditioner. I picked up my usual SheaMoisture Leave In Conditioner 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil and the Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream right next to it. It caught my eye because the container was small and I had never heard of the brand. Plus you couldn't beat the price so I said let me just try this and worst case it's not expensive. WOOOOO let me tell you that I came on this website just to LEAVE A REVIEW because my curls are like never before!!! I almost want to return the expensive SheaMoisture Leave In. Works really well on short naturally curly or wavy hair when dry. Not greasy or oily. Washes out really clean without leaving residue. Compared several products in the store for about 1/2 before deciding to get this item. Will probably be buying this item regularly. Also, I do not use this product every day as I have found that using it maybe a few times a week ( 3 times at most or every other day) and just moving the natural texture of my hair around provides adequate grooming keeping my hair looking natural and not stiff or saturated with hair grease and gook. I have short, slightly soft, and loose curly wavy hair that is probably less coarse and kinky where the texture of this cream is stiff enough to provide definition but not so stiff that it flakes up or feels greasy to the touch. I did not expect much from this product having purchased it to fix up my hair after being unable to afford a haircut for a pending job interview. I have 3B curls, processed hair that I highlight and color purple. I’m a hairstylist, so I take care of my curls. I need a curl cream with enough definition and hold to carry me through day 2, and possibly day 3. I used to love the original It’s a 10 styling cream as my go to curl cream. Nothing compared, and I tried many different products. So I was devastated when they discontinued it, I saw this and decided to give it a try. Forgive me if I go into too many details about my haircare regimen, but I know the curly girls out there that need to know for this review. I use leave-in conditioner, curl cream/definer, followed by gel for my curls, then scrunch with serum once it's dry and set. I used the Pacifica Curl Definitely Defining cream as my second step product, and it worked well, better than other brands of similar price point. My hair had good definition and volume for a few days. But my real issue with it, is why does it come in such a small container. WHY?? Anyone who has curly hair knows they use a lot of product. I am always hesitant about curl creams and them being to heavy and weighing down my curls, but I absolutely love this one. I started with the smaller size in case I didn’t like it and I quickly had to get the full size because I loved it so much. I LOVE this hair cream!! I found it "by accident" when I was on vacation and forgot my hair gel. I bought a travel-sized one at the health food store there and was NOT disappointed! I was so excited to find a Pacifica product, as they are my favorite. I've been using the Salty Beach Waves hair balm for over 2 years, and now this Pineapple Swirl is right up there with it. I had to buy a regular size. I have a lot of curl in my hair and this really defines and amplifies the curls! It also cuts down the frizz. A little goes a long way, too! This is my new favorite hair product. As someone with a lot of hair, but very fine hair, it’s hard to find a product that doesn’t weigh me down- this allows for my hair to have shape and volume that lasts. The best results I’ve had came from using a denman brush to curl my hair, smoothing the roots over once. This method achieved beautiful formed waves for three days after. Verb is much less expensive than other curl products I’ve tried and it out performs all of them. I would highly recommend this to anyone with loose curls or waves, especially those with fine frizz prone hair like me. For reference I use this after I wash my hair with a kevin murphy cowash. Wow, I love this! I was hesitant because I see a lot of influencers use it and I always worry that that over hype things. But it really does reduce frizz and hold curl. A little goes a very long way, so it is easy to overdo it. My hair is 2C/3A and I live in a pretty dry climate and this was the perfect balance. I will say it did seem to "weigh down" my hair a bit more than other products, however, I'll take slightly less volume to have non-frizzy and light curls. I love Verb products. This one was new to me, but I had to try it. Glad I did! My tired, frizzy, permed curls were dying quickly. I needed a pick- me- up for them and this did the trick. A little, tiny bit goes a long way – all of Verb is like this. I love that because the product lasts, which means I'm not spending a fortune on hair, but getting a good, quality product. Also, the curl lasted all day until the next shower. It's not greasy, smells nice and not like a bunch of grocery store chemicals. I am about 1 year into my CGM journey, and at this point – I rarely find products that work as well as my hair's natural oils. Even though I try to avoid shampoo, when I do use it (before hot tools or after about 3-4 weeks of conditioner rinses) I need to add a bit of moisture to make up for what I've rid my curls of. I tried this product after a wash day. It is one of the only products I've tried recently that actually feels natural in my hair. It helps to define curls and rid frizz. It dries with a light cast, but just enough for my hair to clump not enough to leave a waxy/dry texture like other competing products. I rarely feel comfortable using only one product. It's either a natural look sans products, or a mix of products (leave-in, oil, cream, maybe gel and spray etc., Depending on the style). This product is a mix of both worlds; leaves my hair natural looking without being too fluffy, yet offers enough moisture and oil for clumping without being heavy. Love the shine it adds. Ouai Curl Crème saves time for me since it's a cream + oil + hydrator + styling product. Great for traveling with. Easy to refresh dry hair with or style wet hair with. The scent is so luxuriously floral yet sweet, the packaging looks elegantly simple, and the bit about the "ex" on the packaging gave me a good chuckle. Ouai Curl Crème has my curls screaming, "oui, oui!" I have natural roots, ends relaxed and dyed (damaged), mix of curl textures (2b-3c), long length. This product is clearly a creme that is not shy to define, and give your hair a subtle yet noticeable shine. IMMEDIATELY after drenching my hair in water, and applying the product, I barely had to touch my hair, and the definition was VERY apparent. Y'all, when I say, I was shook… I have never in all of my 21 years of life had a product instantly define my hair upon application. I barely had to finger comb. It for sure provides a nice element of moisture as well, and I find that the more I've used it these past couple of weeks, the softer my hair is getting. I'm not 100% sure if it's this product, or some of the other products that I've been using in my hair for the time being, but I do know that this is clearly the moisture and defining agent in the squad of hair products I've been using. This product has chia & linseed oil, babassu oil, and coconut oil in it, which are clearly carrying the product and running so that it doesn't even have to jog on it's own. Babassu oil is known as an oil that promotes high moisture retention, which seals the moisture into your hair shaft (ideal for high porosity hair types), and you know lack of moisture retaining products in your haircare routine is one of the #1 causes for breakage. Chia seeds are rich in fatty acids which work to not only penetrate your hair shaft (great for low porosity hair types), but seal in the moisture as well. Linseed oil is the same as flaxseed oil, which is high in vitamin E, and not only treats hair loss, but promotes growth. For my dry scalp peeps, flaxseed oil also can be used to prevent dandruff, and can provide relief. If you have damaged hair, or chemically processed hair, this is very ideal, since it has great moisture retaining properties, and it seals damaged cuticles. I have pretty curly hair but it's very fine and I was worried this cream would be too heavy but that is not the case at all! I use this on my hair while it's wet by section with a denman brush and my curls look incredible. if you diffuse, it creates a great mask for the curls that you can brush out after. my curls seriously last 3 days through workouts, sleep (I plop/pineapple my hair without a bonnet and they stay!) DC humidity, all of it. This is the product that I have been looking for for the longest time! If you have curly hair, this is a must have. Here is how you use it, after detangling your hair, and a generous amount to your hair. If you add too much your hair won’t look super curly. After that just bunch your hair together to make it look curly. My hair looks so gorgeous when using this product. My family uses it as well. After a year of locs- I combed them out. Usually I see a lot of product build up when I take out my locs, however after exclusively using this for a year, there wasn't much at all. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav

So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. That’s a lot of long beautiful hair! her hair has always been long and longer than that my whole life so she’s certainly going to appreciate this oil! I was quite looking forward to using this most from all my purchases. However, I was quite disappointed. It is more of a foam not mousse. The hold is not there and my hair is low porosity type 2b hair and i did not find it reducing frizz either. I pair this mousse with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie from the same product line and they work really well together! I section my hair and evenly distribute the Smoothie, then I use this Mousse to focus on my ends. Finally blowdry with a diffuser attachment. When I use both products together my curls clump together nicely and my ends stay frizz-free. I can also use the Mousse on its own for a more natural/less defined curl. Wow! Amazing ingredients and quality. I am so lucky to have found this amazing products. I use it after washing my hair on a damper hair, my hair feels very soft and settled down. I ran out of my preferred gel that I get from my hair stylist. I was putting together my Ulta order, hadn't heard back from stylist about availability for product pick up, so I decided to sub for this product instead. I do the plop method, before I put my hair into an old t-shirt, I put in hair moisturizer and gel. This worked absolutely perfect for my previous gel (which is not sold on Ulta). Using the Mixed Chicks Curl Sculptor was disappointing. To be fair, I didn't realize it elongated curls, I love how coily my curls are, and it was disappointing to see them stretched out. That's on me, not MC. However, there was white residue throughout my hair in the morning and throughout the day until after I'd slept on between wash days. I have had dandruff before, and this was definitely the product, not my scalp. Most of the residue was towards the ends of my hair and stuck to my curls. My hair was also pretty sticky, too, and clumped together in a way that let many curls tangle faster than they usually would for my normal daily routine. I'm not buying this again, but maybe it works better for someone who doesn't do the plop method or mix in other products.Von

Im shocked by all the negative reviews. This was gifted to my by a friend and I didnt expect much from it since I had never tried the brand before, but its left my curls so beautiful. I use the SheaMoisture yogurt and manuka honey leave in spray and then scrunch this into sections of my hair and brush it through with a denman brush. My hair dries WAY faster when I use this and is defined yet still voluminous and lasts all week. I havent noticed it drying out my hair or anything (My hair gets really dry easily) but I use a hair mask once a week so maybe thats why. Also some people complained about the smell but tbh unless you hold it right up to your nose you really dont smell anythingKianny

I used the product after washing my hair. I used the Mixed Chicks shampoo and leave in conditioner before applying this product. It made my hair stiff and it left my hair flaky. I had little flakes of product in my hair. I prefer a cream that will make it soft.Missy

Seemed like a good idea to have a combination creme and gel product when I picked this up, but my hair just didn't agree with it at all. Even when I tried to follow the directions to "seal" the ends of my curls with the product, the result was just bleh. My hair had a dried out feel to it and it got incredibly tangled with this product in it. My hair is somewhere between a 2C and 3A for curls, so maybe it just wasn't curly enough for this product to work, but I wouldn't recommend it.knk1

I have tried a million products for my curls trying to find one that does as much as possible for as low a price point as possible – I need look no further! For context, I have a variety of curl types on my head (2C at the back, 3B at the front, and everything in between), medium thickness, low-porosity/virgin hair which is cut very short and this stuff works beautifully for me. It has enough hold to define my curls and eliminate frizz but it's lightweight enough to not pull my ringlets into waves, and enough moisture to look after them for a long time – I used to wash my hair every other day because it would get frizzy, now I can go over a week sometimes and it still looks good! It does need to be applied to almost-dripping-wet hair, and it does form a cast which I know some people don't like because of the crunchy feeling but I promise you that all you gotta do is scrunch it out when it's dry and then it'll look great. I usually use my fingers to apply it evenly all over my head when my hair is still wet, then scrunch and squish the hair from the tip towards the root to further distribute the product and bring back the curls. I then dry my hair with a diffuser until it is mostly dry, then I let it air dry the rest of the way. Only when it is COMPLETELY DRY do I scrunch out the cast – I'm then left with soft, bouncy and defined curls! It took a bit of trial and error to get the amount of product required right – if you don't use enough you'll get frizz but if you use too much it can leave you looking a bit greasy – but it's so affordable it's worth the trial! Oh also, the scent is amazing and does linger for a little while which is so nice – if you don't like coconut though, this may not be for you. I'd highly recommend giving this a go though if you're styling curls on a budget.Lillk001

This specific product is so good! This product is moisturizing, smells amazing, and works wonders on my 4 type hair. Remember in order to get the best results follow the instructions on the back. There should be no flakes as long as you are using the leave in conditioner first or using other Mielle products. I'd been using Mielle's Pomegranate and Honey leave-in conditioner for my twist outs. They are always on point. I constantly receive compliments. I recently purchased the entire Pomegranate and Honey line. I just finished shampooing, conditioning, and using the leave-in conditioner. My hair/scalp feels fresh. Mielle is the only thing I use on my hair and I wanted to try this out for the first time, I have thick type 4 hair and this stuff is my new holy grail I did a braids out, this thing is THICKKK, held it upside down and the thickness held itself in the jar. smells like heaven itself, my coils are soft, soooo defined and lasted until my next wash day (a week an a half). Out of all the new products that come out, I some how go back to this Styling Creme. I have 4C hair, but this is the only product that gives me a great twistout. I do have to agree with the other comments about that it dries the hair, but a quick fix to that I found was to use a oil after you finish twisting your hair and again before you take your twist out. When I tried that my hair was soft, no crunching feeling. I also use Mixed Chick Hairdress. I don't think the stores sell it, but I brought directly from their website.Debbie

I am afraid to rate this product so highly because I do not want too many people to discover it, leading to further product shortage. However, I have been using this product for years on my natural curly, high porosity hair because it is super moisturizing and is the only product that works no matter the climate/humidity. I pair it with either KC or Ecostyle for additional hold. I am a loyal customer so please don't ever change the formula.Kenni

I’ve seen some say that this stuff doesn’t moisturize. While that is true, I mix mine with a moisturizer. NOT ALOT otherwise the affect it has on the hair makes it look strange.
Also, best used on damp hair or wet hair. Not dripping wet, but wet.

I have wavy curls so my hair isn’t nearly as curly as some on here, but it does do the job. I suggest mixing Maui moisturize hair care with it to help not only with the smell if you don’t like it, but make your hair less likely to feel dry.
As for the smell, it smells like mango. But it’s a bit bitter. Almost tangy smell. It’s hard to explain but with the moisturizer, it’ll add that that sweet smell of coconut to even the smell out.Potatochip Blueberry

The leave-in is unfortunately rather less suitable for my hair. Have very many and thick, wavy to curly hair. It makes nice soft hair, but gives me too little hold, which leads to the fact that the curls quickly "hang out" and lose definition. Also, my hair tends to get frizz from this product. However, I think that this leave-in can work very well with a different hair structure. The scent is good as in the entire Curl Expression series, it reminds me of a hairdressing salon and is something different.Delia

A good smelling curl cream. Soft, light consistency, which is easy to apply. According to the instructions, you should wrap the curls with your fingers when applying and thus strengthen the defining. In the handling therefore rather cumbersome. The hair feels very smooth afterwards, the curls but not necessarily defined. This product also smells very pleasant.Lotti_80

I heard other reviews and videos rave about this mousse and had to try it. I have to say, they are right. I have fine texture, low porosity natural hair. My hair is short, but when stretched the back comes to my collar bone and the front comes to the end of my nose (to give you a reference). I get good definition using a gel, but this product really defined my hair, and I had more body. Body is a problem for those of us with fine hair. My curls lasted 4 days, especially in the top which is longer. My hair is shorter on the sides and since I sleep on my side the definition fades sooner. I still had a little definition on my sides day 4, but the top still had curls. The first time I used it I only used a moisturizing deep conditioner and the mousse. It did great defining my curls, but left my hair very dry. The next time I used a moisturizing deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, a moisturizing gel, and a sealing oil with the mousse. Sounds like a lot, but this is the process I have to use every wash day to keep my hair moisturized for 3 days. I did not have any problems with dry hair at all this time. This mousse has become part of my weekly regimen.Breezinby

I have thick heavy waves/curls. The product worked well when I used it with a leave in conditioner. The day I was in a rush and didn't put a leave in my hair was course and felt dehydrated. It doesn't help to clump your curls on it's own, but was easy to style and mold my curls with my brush. Dried quickly and smelled good. I didn't get a chance to use it for a long period of time to see the overall quality. The bottle untwisted just enough while under my sink and spilled. Luckily I had it in a container. The bottle easily untwist. You should keep the product right side up and make sure it doesn't knock over. Unfortunately it's the bottle quality that keeps me from buying this again. I would suggest checking The Doux’s channel on YouTube to see how she uses the styler depending on the length of the hair. I have a short natural tapered cut and the mousse works best went I finger twirl the top and front. I love the slip and the shine. Even though the hold is soft – it survives my sweaty workouts. As long as I don’t touch my hair and let it air dry – it will last 5-6 days with minor touch-ups. This has become my sole and primary styler!GeeMilli

I absolutely LOVE and adore this gel! I have medium length 3B/medium porosity hair and this gel has been a total game changer for me! I've been doing the same hair routine for decades with ok curls that I could never leave down because they'd frizz after a few hours. A year ago I started experimenting and really doing research on what could work better for my hair. I have genetic hair loss and have lost a ton of density over the last five years and I'm trying improve and preserve what I have for as long as I still have it. I was always told my curls were "pretty," then I started using the Curl Defining Styling Soufflé after trialing another cream/gel from a different line of product and I got a ton more compliments on my curls and could leave it down for longer. After that trial, I tried this gel and oh my goodness, my curls are even more amazing! They don't feel stiff and scrunchy, they don't look like they are held with gel, but they hold for DAYS, not hours like before, but DAYS! I get compliments all the time on my curls now, even on day 3 between washes! My hair looks shinier without being greasy or stiff too. I can't say enough good things about this gel. I don't use it in the shower, when I tried it on fully wet hair, I had less curls and less volume, but that's just my hair. You'll need to play around with your curls to see what works for you. I comb my hair in the shower while I condition, lightly wrap my hair in a towel for a few minutes when I get out (no rubbing!), then put in my leave-in (Multi Tasking Conditioner) with prayer hands then put in this gel with prayer hands, do some gently scrunching and I'm good to go. I'm unorthodox and I go to bed with wet hair but lay my hair "up" on my pillow to dry and I get a ton more root volume and just have to scrunch and finger comb a bit of volume in in the morning and I'm good to go. Unfortunately, this stuff is awful. I originally purchased the blue one, but the smell of it makes me nauseous so I decided to try the orange. It smells better, but sadly that is the only thing going for it. I tried multiple times, styling both in shower and out and this formula is not for my hair. I had hoped the firmer hold would help my fine, tight spiral curls hold up better on day 2-3, maybe even 4. Instead the gel was as crunchy as crunchy can be. Even after scrunching it to break the cast, going outside in humidity or sweating from walking would make it react and get sticky all over my neck, and then crunchy again. Overnight my curls got flattened and the gel held them in the most awful pressed and messed up shapes. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. What a mess.Bri

I have a fine hair texture and have some challenges getting my hair to look full. I usually apply a leave-in conditioner or cream before gel but I skipped that since I was trying this product first time and wanted to see what it did by itself. I sectioned my hair and I admit, I used more than a dime size per section. After I applied it using prayer hands, I brush it through using a flexi brush, then brush styled with my Denman brush. The only problem I encountered was it was difficult brush styling with the product in my hair as my hair was sticky. I will probably brush style then apply with soft prayer hands, then scrunch next time to see if that helps. Nevertheless, my curls starting popping while I was diffusing my hair. I'm not sure if it's because I only used one product, or if something about this one product helped, but my dry time was way quicker than normal to (which is great because it was about 85°F today). I went out and 2 people who see me all the time complimented my curls and that was a first. I only bought the travel size to try it, but I think this is one I'm going to repurchase a full size in. Oh, and I got great volume from it once I scrunched it out. The trick for me was not scrunching up to break the cast, but instead grabbing my hair in sections like little ponytails and massaging the hair together while I scrunched. It sounds scary, like it would cause frizz, but I the hold is so good that I didn't really get any frizz. I hope that helps, but I get it might not be for everyone.Waves&Smiles

This product is awesome. Even though it is a "gentleman's" line – I am a girly girl with wavy/curly course hair and I haven't found anything like it for my hair. I love it. Awesome!!! This is the very best product for my hair type (natural/coily/curly). I thoroughly rub cream into my wet hair and it seals the most beautiful curls. Style lasts all day.
