The SMOOTH Pore Minimizing Serum is a very nice product. It starts with cool packaging. I love the push-down dropper piece. The serum goes on very easily. It's just the right consistency, not too thick, not sticky but not watery or runny either. It has just enough body to flow over the skin nicely giving good, even coverage. When I apply it immediately after cleansing I do experience a slight stinging sensation, nothing uncomfortable but it is noticeable. I have found that if I wait a few minutes after cleansing before I apply SMOOTH Pore Minimizing Serum I don't have the stinging sensation. The serum leaves my skin feeling super soft and velvety and does seem to blur the apperance of my pores some. It also works nicely as a primer helping my foundation smooth evenly and easily across my skin. The Mele Smooth Pore Minimizing Serum works extremely well on my skin. It leaves it dry AND soft around my more oily areas around the nose and forehead. The bottle is interesting as well as it similar to a dropper. You pump the solution and you place the dropper on you face. It typically takes one or two small drops to cover each major area. The application leaves skin soft..not dry or irritated. I wish overall that it did not have a scent. It has a soft men’s cologne type scent which actually more noticeable before you put it on (or my nose just used to it.) The scent makes it a little more difficult to wear a perfume without avoiding mixing two scents. It’s not overpowering but for some with sensitive noses this may be an issue. Follow the directions as this is ness applied in the mornings before any makes up. As far as a makeup setter I do not notice much difference but I don’t wear concealers or powders much to recognize much effects. Little to no scent, it does sting a little after applying but after checking multiple sources and many reviews, this is normal with retinol products. I have very sensitive skin so I imagine those with normal skin will not have any stinging.I dislike that CeraVe doesn’t disclose the amount of retinol percentage and instead gives a non-answer, but the tiny amount of retinol it has is indeed effective. I have REALLY uneven skin, lots of bumps from old blemishes that made hiding everything with makeup difficult. I bought this a little over three weeks ago and used it in tandem with Melano CC to lighten blemishes and it’s amazing how much has changed, my skin is nearly flat! I have sensitive and combination skin, parts are extremely dry and other parts are extremely oily. Many products break me out so I was hesitant to try this. After my first use I immediately noticed dry, flaky patches that begin to burn. I almost decided to stop it but thankfully I went online and did some research. After reading about retinol I learned that it's completely normal to have dry, red patches and some tingling or burning for the first week or 2. My skin was purging and becoming used to the product. How did I not know about this product before! I am nearly 39 and wish I had this in my life much sooner. Have been using for a couple of weeks and I am so impressed. I have quite oily skin that starts to look oily very quickly after cleansing and moisturising etc, but this keeps me oil free all day! It does work better if I don't wear make-up, if I put foundation or powder on then it's performance time is a little shorter, but regardless its the best moisturiser I have come across for controlling oil. I bought this because I've been through a few bottles of the Paula's Choice 2% BHA and wanted to find something same-same-but-different. So far, I strongly prefer this!! My least favorite thing about the PC product is how much of a residue there is, I'd compare the feeling to that of a body dry oil. It's so present that my normal-dry skin can forgo moisturizer afterwards in the summertime. The Farmacy product is just like a standard watery toner, so there's absolutely zero residue, which I LOVE. It also smells really nice (kind of like a herbal papaya? but not exactly sweet/fruity) even though it doesn't have added fragrance. As for effects, I wasn't sure this product was actually doing anything until a couple of days ago where I laid off for a few days in preparation for a once-in-a-while AHA/BHA mask. Let's just say it was obvious that the product was keeping sebaceous filaments and blackheads at bay. Since resuming using it again, they're gone again. My one problem with this product is that it is so watery that a cotton pad is really kind of necessary, and I'm someone who likes to use my hands for all of my skincare steps so that I don't waste product. As such, I feel like I'm going through the bottle rather fast. To mitigate this I've been using the cotton pad on my chest, KP areas, and even behind my ears so that it goes as far as possible. This toner has changed my skin. I have bought it 3 or 4 times now and I can safely say it has improved my skin a lot. I used to have lots of little bumps all over my forehead and this has cleared most of them away. The toner is quite expensive so I prefer to tap it directly onto my skin and rub it in rather than waste it on a cotton pad. I actually use another less expensive toner first and put that on a cotton pad and to remove any debris, then I use this on top so it can really sink into the skin. I think this toner works really well because this brand is doesn't add nasty chemicals into their formulas. It also smells lovely and the packing is gorgeous. I always feel good when I used it. This is indeed a crazy COOL product! I have (or shall I say 'had' now??) enlarged pores due to skin dehydration and excessive sebum production. And this guy fixed it all in a matter of just 2 weeks! Was so excited to receive this La Roche-Posay Effaclar Salicylic Acid Serum from La Roche-Posay and Influenster last week! I've *always* had acne prone skin – even now in my 30s – and uneven texture, so Salicylic Acid is a regular part of my routine. This serum goes on super smoothly from its glass dropper (bonus for ensuring sanitary application!) and glides on your skin. It has a very nice, even texture – a little goes a long way! I've only been using this for about a week now, but have noticed improved texture and clearing breakouts in my chin area! The best part is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling super dry or stripped of oils – just clean, even, and fresh. I'll definitely keep using this to see if it continues to improve my skin. Wow such a nice serum. I've heard so many good things about la roche posay ive only been able to try a couple things so far but everything they make is so good and so good for your skin. I will always trust every product this brand makes. But this serum is really nice it's not just a Salycilic Acid Serum for acne and breakouts it also has glycolic acid and Niacinimide in it. I do a nightly skincare rotation throughout the week. 1st night exfoliants 2nd night retinol 3rd 4th night recovery w/ just Hyaluronic acid. I've added this serum into my exfoliant night routine and it's perfect just what I was missing because I still get random breakouts here and there so the Salycilic Acid helps with that and the Niacinimide and glycolic acid for exfoliating, resurfacing brightening. I was excited to receive this product from La Roche-Posay, a brand I love. I do have hormonal acne, so I thought I might be a good candidate for this product. However, I think the active ingredients in this product were a bit too strong to incorporate into my existing skincare routine. I also use a retinoid, and I think the addition of this glycolic acid in this product was just too irritating for my skin. I think if you’re looking to try a new product for acne, this is a great place to start, as the ingredients are effective for many people (BHA, AHA, niacinamide). However, I prefer to use my retinoid and in combination with this, it was too irritating on my dry skin. I used the Effaclar SA Serum for over a week, replacing my retinoid, and I noticed I had a bit more acne than usual, which could have been purging, but I did not notice any existing spots faded. The texture of this product was a bit gooey/sticky. I think this product has great potential, but unfortunately, just wasn’t good for my specific skin type and existing routine.shelby.c

What I love about Paula Begoun's skincare range is firstly: the transparency. An explanation is given for each ingredient so you know exactly what you're putting onto/into your skin. Secondly there's ample opportunity to trial the products via a sample size on the website. Not to mention a good returns policy. The 2% BHA lotion was one of the products that I invested in full size (along with a bunch of samples) and funnily enough was my least favorite out of everything I ordered. It's not that it broke me out or disagreed with me in any way, it just didn't do much for me. Even after the first 3 weeks of usage, gradually built up to twice daily applications, my skin still looked exactly the same as before I started using it. Pores, blemishes, oiliness, you name it…zero difference! It's unfortunate, as I skipped the option of a sample pack, thinking it wouldn't be enough product to give it a fair try. I was somehow convinced this 1 bottle would be the answer to all my skincare woes (not entirely sure what lead me to believe that!). The good: it wasn't harsh on my skin like many BHA products can be, and the application was well controlled, never too much or too little. I don't normally post reviews, but when I see something actually make improvements to my skin I've gotta share my experience because I know there's so much BS in products these days. But Paulas Choice 2% for the win! I got a small sample bottle for $10. I read the reviews and was a little nervous to do it everyday because of what people were saying…but that wasn't my experience. I used it everyday, morning & night. I shook the bottle 3 times into my hand and smoothed it over my entire face. I was using the cotton pads at first, and just doing on the areas that needed it but then I ran out of the pads so I put it in my hands and honestly, it worked way better when I was just using my hands to spread it because it seemed to soak into my face better. I saw people say that their face would get irritated by using it everyday and the way to use it correctly and see results was to use it once a week… so I just wanted to see how my face would react the next day but nothing felt bad and I decided to do it again in the morning. I loved how it felt on my skin, and I only had 1 flare up and that was a week later May 26-27th (Photos Included) The pimple went away quickly and I still decided to put the product on my face Night & Day. I saw people say it isn't good for sun exposure so not to use it during the day, but I am staying home at the moment so I don't go outside as often, maybe 20 mins a day. So I took that caution with a grain of salt. If you go outside more, maybe you should listen to that warning lol. I am not a product expert of how to use it correctly, all I know is I used it night and day and the hyperpigmentation/dark spots on my forehead have really toned down and my skin looks a lot more smooth/brighter which I love. I always feel like I'm glowing and it feels spa like when I put it on, it's got a nice relaxing smell and a nice soothing texture to it that isn't too oily. This is my tried and true holy grail exfoliator. No matter what I try, I always come back to this one. I have emptied soooo many bottles of this. I have very sensitive, combination (super dry/normal in the winter & oily/normal in the summer but I can still use this product all year around despite my skin type) and acne prone skin. I have to say that I hated this product the very first time I tried it–it stung my skin. It was to the point where I ran into the bathroom to wash it off my face after just a few mins of applying it. I really tried to like the product but the sting was too painful and the SMELL of this is absolutely atrocious. The product smells like acetone to me and I probably gagged in about 20 different languages when I put it on my face for the first time (although I would rather it smell disgusting than have them add a ton fragrance to the product. My skin doesn't do will with heavy fragrances). I left this on my vanity for a few months before I picked it up again–I just didn't want to waste my money. Someone told me to dilute the product with water on a cotton pad–I tried it and it didn't sting my face nearly as bad but still some intense tingling going on. But the next morning, I noticed how soft and rejuvenated my skin looked and felt. I continued to use it once a week and I fell in love with the product and slowly stopped diluting it as much as my skin got used to it. After 4-5 years of using this religiously 2-3 times a week, I still feel tingling on my skin when I use it but I've gotten use to the feeling and the horrible smell because the results are worth it. Due to my sensitive skin, I absolutely can NOT use this product more than 2-3 times a week. This product is wonderful. It takes me about a little less than a year.Vic

Even though it's a little pricey, the product is terrific! It does exactly what's advertised: Clarifies skin (minimizing discolorations, removing small bumps/rough spots), makes pores smaller, makes skin softer. The exfoliant action results in a fresh, bright skin tone. Application is just patting it on with a cotton ball once or twice a day. It tingled a bit on the first application, but there was no sensation at all with subsequent applications. My skin was noticeably better in under a week and there is plenty of product left. I had previously received this product free in exchange for review from a product testing company. I've been buying it ever since! It's pricey, but it actually works as described so – yeah, worth it. I saw results the next day, that made me a believer. Everyday my skin is clearer and prettier. Moment of Truth: I had a boil on my inner thigh, it had been there for probably 3 days. I do my best to avoid those (who doesn't?!) since my first experience many years ago but I know when I ease up on my dietary restrictions I can expect skin issues among others. So I had a boil and no real solution. I tried this toner because of the percentage of salicylic acid I figured it wouldn't hurt. Kid you not, next day GONE. I now use this toner on every bump that occurs wherever lol. I've never used such an effective toner or any product for that matter. Another gross fact, I had been developing a skin tag on my neck for like 3 months. Of course if I'd left it alone it would probably have been a full on tag but I'm pretty superficial in regards to my skin so of course every morning I would pick at it, try to pop it etc. It was too tiny to try the string technique so there wasn't much I could do besides pray lol. Since I started using this toner daily on my face and neck it has disappeared. So I'd argue that it works for that too – maybe depending on the size of the tag? Anyway, if you desire clear puuurty skin use this. It will easily replace whatever you thought would work and it's better to spend more on something that does what it claims than to waste money hoping a product does what it claims. Applied in the morning after usually cleansing routine. Found this to be a thin moisturiser but absorbing, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and non greasy. Brilliant under foundation as it leaves a matt effect. I struggle with red blotches on the tops of my cheeks which this moisturiser has reduced. The red blotches are obviously more noticeable when I’m not wearing makeup, which is a regular occurrence these days as home or when out, using a mask. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and so far i am fairly impressed. It doesn’t smell strong, simple to apply and spread over skin and leaves skin feeling smooth. It works so well on my oilier areas such as t zone and chin but made a little dry patch on my nose/cheek look more obvious. I started using a little serum in my dry area just before applying this emulsion and it made a huge difference. Any little niggly spots that were trying to appear seemed to either gonaway faster or just not fully appear. All in all it’s a great product for anyone with normal to oily skin but for dry or combination you might prefer to assist your dry areas with another serum or moisturiser if you decide to use this in your skincare routine. I've suffered with oily skin for as long as I can remember, I would apply my makeup perfectly in the morning ready for the day ahead but always found myself reapplying or powdering within a few hours as my oily skin would make an unwelcomed appearance! I always like like I was sweating so not a good look I've tried many creams and foundations to try to control the problem but nothing worked well enough! That is until I tried Avène Mattifying Emulsion! Ive been using for a few weeks as I wanted to test it in different environments and during different daily activities. I apply it to my oily prone areas first and then just rubbed what was left on my hands all over my face to have a completely balanced coverage, may I say a little goes a long way and blends in beautifully and so light, I have sensitive skin so am always hesitant to try new products but I needn't be worried because it caused no irritation at all and blended in easily, having left for a few mins I carry on applying my usual foundation and daily make up. By mid day I checked and I was pleasently surprised I didn't need to do any touch ups as my skin was still looking just as it did when I applied it, not even a shine was visible! It actually stayed oil free all day with no touch ups, I'm so impressed! It's now day 16 and I've tried and tested it through excersise, brisk walking, cycling, chilling In the garden on warm days, shopping, working etc and it's passed with flying colours Im never going back! 100% recommended!

This is an effective cleanser that doesn't break me out, which I appreciate considering I have oily, acne-prone skin. However, this cleanser tends to dry my face after I use it if I don't immediately follow up with a hydrating product such as a toner. I initially bought this cleanser because it also has salicylic acid, but I have since learned these type of cleansers are not as effective (if at all) as leave-on products because the active ingredients are washed off before they likely have a chance to work. I have added a leave-on BHA to my routine, so I don't rely on the "medicated" aspect of this cleanser. This cleanser also doesn't remove eye makeup well if I haven't used a makeup remover beforehand. Given that this cleanser does not break me out, I will continue using it until I finish the bottle. However, I will probably not buy this particular cleanser again because it is drying for me and also because the salicylic acid is unnecessary.tomis

I like Good Molecules, but this was a NO for me for two reasons. 1. Although I like the pharmaceutical-esque packaging that this (and the eye gel) come in, the pressure causes it continuously ooze out. I have to store these products upside down until I use about 1/4 so that I'm not wasting product. 2. The smell! Oh my goodness. I see that another reviewer commented on the same thing. I'm not sensitive to smells and I understand that sometimes the we smell the packaging and not necessarily the product, itself. But this was so bad (sour/molded bread) that I had to return it. I use this cream in my nightly routine. Every time I have an irritated red pimple, after using this, I'll wake up with it completely risen to the surface as a whitehead, ready to pop lol. I did find that I had a purging stage a few days into starting this product. I've always been scared of skin purging, but tbh, I did not mind because everything healed so quickly that I couldn't be too upset about it. This product makes my pimples heal within a day. I use it with the Hero Cosmetics Post Blemish Recovery Cream ($12.99) which helps prevent scarring! Might have something to do with fast recovery. I love this stuff. I have suffered from acne and blackheads as long as I can remember and have spent boatloads of money on products. I started using this as part of my morning and night routine about a month ago (Cetaphil cleanser, GM brightening toner, GM hyaluronic acid). At first I was a little freaked out because after my first use I woke up the next morning with some bumps and irritated skin, but that is common when starting a new product. I did a little research and figured out my skin was purging (not breaking out and not having an allergic reaction). I hadn't used a leave on exfoliant in a while so my skin had a lot of gunk to get rid of. I continued using this morning and night for about a week and my skin cleared up really nicely. I now use this only at night on my T-zone where I am most prone to blackheads and enlarged pores. The key is to use it consistently. The texture also feels really great on your skin and is easy to layer with other products. Smell isn't the best but that isn't a big deal to me. My holy grail I found this product through youtube rave and Im usually not one to want to go with the trends because many products are often overhyped in my opinion. I saw that kathleenlights used this and we share several of the same problems with our skin dry, redness, etc. She said that it was not harsh on her sensitive skin and helped with the dryness. I ordered it online and was so excited for it to come in. So happy i made this purchase. One of the best purchases of 2015 for me. My skin is sooo sensitive and so many products make me break out, but not this one. I simply soak it onto a cotton round and use it to remove makeup or to just clean and refresh while gently moisturizing my face. I notice after i use this, my face feels really soft. It is not at all harsh because its been near my eyes and it does not burn. It has a very light, fresh clean smell. I use it to remove makeup, wash my face, apply toner, then moisturize. This has made my skin significantly healthier looking and doesnt strip my skin of its nutrients and helps balance out oiliness and keeps my face looking smooth. Love this product. I'm on the dryer side and generally don't use foaming cleanseres as they make my skin dry and tight. This product didn't do that at all. It left my skin feeling clean and not overly tight and stripped. Would recommend to anyone with oily or acne prone skin as well as dry skin types that want to Clean out the pores. Best cleanser I’ve used. I finally have control over my breakout/cystic acne-prone skin and I have confidence, which is all too important. This has kept my skin clearer and has helped with oiliness better than any other wash I’ve used (I use this combined with the Cera Ve face lotion) and I live in FL, so that’s saying something! It keeps my skin balanced despite the changing weather, from the dryness to the humidity. For those who tend to automatically say something makes their face break out… there’s a difference between your skin breaking out/flaring up/having a bad reaction versus having it purge from a new product. I will tell you that in the beginning I went through some skin purging for a couple weeks. Please Google/know the difference. (: Leave it alone, be kind to your skin. Afterwards my skin cleared up and has stayed clear and clean and nice for months. Even after I got pregnant and with all the hormonal changes, this has maintained my skin so, so well. I am a massive skincare enthusiast and I have tested probably 60 cleansers in my skincare journey. And I ALWAYS come back to this one. I have probably gone through 30 bottles of this. This is one of the least drying foaming cleansers I have ever tried. This is one of those foaming cleansers that does NOT leave your face even remotely squeaky clean once you rinse it from your face. No joke. When you rinse it away, your skin feels slippery and smooth still; not even the faintest amount of "squeakiness" at all. Now… if you pat your face dry and let your face get bone dry afterward- of course your face will get dry! Some people do this and judge the cleanser for being "drying"- ANY cleanser, even hydrating ones, will feel drying if you don't hydrate the skin immediately after cleansing with serums and moisturizers. You shouldn't be allowing your face to dry down anyways. As soon as you cleanse, walk to your counter and apply your first serum onto damp skin. I digress. This cleanser is absolutely incredible. I read the reviews for this after I bought it and was kinda scared it would break me out. Turns out my fears were unfounded. My skin is fairly sensitive and I'm prone to ingrown hairs. Of course, YMMV, but this stuff has been working wonders for my skin, and I use it right after shaving when my skin is most sensitive. I'm not sure if the other reviewers received a bad batch, left the product on too long, or had an allergic reaction to a component within, but I have had zero issues and have nothing but good things to say about this stuff. To be on the safe side, I moisturize heavily and apply an alcohol-free aftershave as soon as I finish washing my face. I have to use a mixture of Vaseline with cocoa and either Uncle Jon's Lime Up aftershave, Lime skin food, and/or Proraso Azure Lime aftershave balm. The results speak for themselves. Using just Vaseline leaves my skin greasy, and using just an aftershave leaves my skin dry. This is a nice serum. I only use it at night time, but have noticed a difference since I started adding it to my nighttime routine. When I wake up in the morning I notice that old spots have gone down and my overall skin texture has started to smooth out. My skin just looks bright in the morning compared to dull and just blah without this in my routine. I also use this on my neck at night. My neck had two discolored lines and they’ve gone down and overall smoothed out. The texture on my neck has dramatically smoothed out and I think a lot has to do with this serum. I use the brightening toner in the morning and this serum at night. I don’t put any other stuff on my neck other than my cleanser and moisturizer so I know my results are mainly from adding niacinamide. My neck looks like more of a match to my face, and when you’re aging like me matching my neck to my face is a good thing. Before I incorporated this to my routine my neck started showing pretty decent signs of aging. It was also discolored from left over tans in the past. So it helped make things more even. Overall I’m happy with this product, I personally haven’t had any negative reaction to it. I will probably repurchase when I’m out, but a little goes a long way so it’ll be awhile.Kyle A.
I wish I’d taken before photos to compare. Always cleansed and moisturised my skin with decent quality products but in January my skin was making me look old, it was dull and I was constantly battling texture, clogged pores on nose and build up of rough surface layer that looked dreadful under makeup. Now use a range of good molecules products and my skin looks smoother, brighter and more youthful. I’m not needing to rely on harsh physical exfoliants either. Started with niacinamide and once I knew my skin tolerates it I added the gentle retinol cream. These both improved my skin, recently added the pineapple exfoliating powder and vitamin C powder which further improved my skin. Squalane oil is nice to layer on afterwards to soothe skin. Does require research/reading info to check which products you can use together though but totally worth it.CC
I'm very weary about trying out new skincare products after having dealt with hormonal and cystic acne from the ages of 16-20. By 20, I received a medical diagnosis that explained why my skin got the way it got, and with treatment for said diagnosis, my skin has been doing really well ever since. I have been left with acne scars (ice pick scars) that have smoothed out naturally over time and lots of aloe vera, but was ready to try something new. THIS PRODUCT completely changed the game for me!! My skin was smooth the NEXT day, and using it twice a day as instructed made a very noticeable difference after four days of use. I used this for one month twice a week and haven’t really seen much results in regards to minimizing pores. However, I realized my skin became very dry. I like most of COSRX products, because the ingredient list is short. I have blackheads around my nose and chin. They are noticeable during the summer months. I like to tackle them by using daily toner like this Cosrx 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid. But I just don't like the menthol, since I have sensitive skin. Sometimes it irritates my skin after a single wipe or it doesn't. So I knocked off 1 star. Instead I prefer the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid to fight blackheads. It's my seasonal toner.MR
There is hardly no scent. It's more in the serum side, but a bit more liquidy. I think all the products of this company are worth while, with good pure ingredients. I use it at night after Cleaning my face with oil and soap. I feel it tightens the pores and gives a fresh feel to the skin. Short version: Y’OUR is the holy grail skincare set. But if you have doubts or feel at a loss for trying yet another product… here’s my story that might convince you this is worth a shot. My serious acne didn’t start until college, and since then, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to find the products that would combat consistent breakouts. I researched. I wept. I fretted that I’d never have clear skin since the only cause that made sense was my IUD, and I didn’t want to have to sacrifice birth control for my skin. My self-esteem was nonexistent by the time I found out about Y’OUR – and that changed after about three weeks of using the products. It’s a beautifully bottled miracle. My skin’s default setting is now clear, with the occasional zit here or there, and these now never last long. Here are a couple of things worth knowing before you try: The cleanser feels like a gel so you won’t necessarily notice its exfoliation properties, but it works like a ninja deep-scrubbing all the dirt from your pores. One of my primary concerns was dry skin, and in the first weeks of use, the skin around my nose felt redder and flakier. I panicked and emailed customer service, but she (promptly!) told me not to worry, that it was just the first phase of my skin being properly exfoliated, and that it should clear up within a couple of weeks. I was already at the point of crying dealing with an unruly breakout that was becoming more severe each week. I started using the regimen the same day I went to the dermatologist that told me my acne was actually THAT bad… I was set to start medication if my skin couldn’t get it together. It's been 12 days using Y’our skin, my acne isn’t out of sight but i am so happy with the progress so far! I wake up and say oh wow this is the best my skin has looked in weeks. I was a little wary to try these, but the reviews really sold me and I am so glad I decided to try them out!! This cleanser works SO well for my oily acne prone skin. My skin is looking and feeling better than is has in about a year. I was really surprised as I have trouble finding things that don't make me breakout. I've liked the results so much that I just sent a small bottle to my cousin to try out. After incorporating the cleanser for a few weeks to see how my skin would react I then started using the morning facial scrub and that's a hit too! Leaves my skin so soft and clear–just make sure you use some heavy duty moisturizer after that scrub.
I have tried a lot of Youth to the People's products and I can honestly say I have loved every purchase I have made. I have extremely sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I use. I do get occasional breakouts so alternating with the different lines they offer is perfect for me. I absolutely love the superfood cleanser and how cleansex your skin without feeling tight. There's a reason why Sunday Riley is in my top three favorite brands. Literally everything I have tried from this brand just works for my skin. I'm also impatient and such a fan of instant gratification and in my opinion that is what they deliver. Using their products my skin looks instantly hydrated, plump, glowing and even toned. This serum has a light lotion feel. If you have normal skin like myself it can be hydrating enough on its own. If not it layers well with other products. It absorbs into the skin like a dream and leaves it feeling smooth to the touch. It does have a light citrus scent that doesn't linger after application. Containing 15% stabilized vitamin c it helps protect against the elements and also helps to firm, brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also have fade dark spots. My skin has changed a lot throughout the past years. I personally as of now struggle with comedones. I was acne prone as a teenager and have gained clear skin through birth control as well as spironolactone. Still looking for something to get rid of these comedones. Using this was very good for comedones considering it dries out those follicles that way the excess oil and sebum will be prevented from clogging a pore. However, if you struggle with dry skin do not use this. Unless you are applying pure aloe vera and coconut oil on your face 3 times a day this is not the product for you. My nose started peeling and flaking after 2 days of using it. I only applied it once each 2 nights. So I started using the JUNO face oil each night and the U.F.O. some mornings, which definitely worked in my favor. I used to struggle with oily skin but with the spironolactone it has definitely taken away those oils. If you also use another acne treatment definitely do not do this because that can cause irritation and a reaction. If you struggle with pores, acne, and have oily skin then i definitely recommend this product. Definitely not good for normal or sensitive skin either.koszmar
This was my first product from Sunday Riley. It was recommended to me by the Real Skincare Discussion. I started to get more acne and breakouts as I got older, but I was put on prescription creams for them. I believe this is why my skin disliked this serum. I started very slowly with a small patch test, and when I worked up to my whole face, I broke out everywhere. Although I used the prescription cream and this serum at opposite times of the day, I think it was simply too much for my skin. Either that or my face cannot tolerate one or more of the ingredients. However, I have found that if I use it on body acne as a light spot treatment, it does help with size and redness. I have been using the serum on my boyfriend’s face instead (always putting it in my clean hands first) and any breakouts, clogged pores and blackheads have noticeably improved with this. He gets compliments on his skin all the time, but I don’t get any of the credit for introducing him to this or any type of skincare routine at all lol. Overall, definitely a great product to try if you have acne, blackheads, clogged pores and would like to clear up your skin without stripping it of moisture.veteranlover
