It is seen that it is an interesting product and that according to my research through reviews and recommendations, it seems to promise good results. so my assessment of this product is a 2.6 because it is a product that I have not used, but I would like to try it since I am a person who loves it!! try hair products and always look for a way to care for and repair it.so as such I have not tried it, but reviewing and informing myself I have seen that its recommendations are good as well as the results after its use. I haven't used this product in a long time. I do remember it very clearly. I bought this at one of the discounted or liquidated stores. If I remember right it was either t.j. Maxx or Burlington. It is very Vivid in my imagination that I was trying to do everything to get rid of it. I know it stayed in my downstairs bathroom with a little bit left in the bottle. I hated the residue that it left on my hair and the lack of my hair feeling clean after using this. My ex-husband was very bad about using the last of a product once it got down to the bottom of it. It sat in his shower downstairs until one day I used the last of it. I always thought it was a product for men and that was a reason that I never bought it again. I thought maybe it was fine just for men and that's why I didn't work for me. For many years I know people bragged about the Crew brand.lisa .c

Anyone who dyes their hair copper knows that copper pigmented hair dye will not stay onto the hair particle for long. A brand new copper color hair do will last about a week or two before it fades into a honey brown color, and eventually a yellow-brown color. With this in mind, there are products that will help to prolong the dye coloration and slow down the fade process, and I turn to Redken shampoo every time​ to get the job done whenever I need to prolong my copper dye. I use this along with the Redken conditioner Color Extend and shampoo three x a week, conditioner once a week, and my copper pigmented color will last about 2 months before it fades onto a honey brown and eventually to a yellowish brown by the 4 months mark. Which is a major improvement from other regular Shampoo options in the market. This also has a great scent and will leave your hair super soft and manageable.keyline.d

I've tried a number of American Crew products and this one just doesn't work for me. It has less hold than the pomade, in my opinion, and leaves my hair looking greasy to the point that it looks like I've worked out and didn't shower afterwards. Honestly, it works so poorly that I wonder if I somehow got a fake product instead of the real thing… The smell is nice though! It's got a pleasant minty scent that I find enjoyable.A

I just tried this out to style my old school crew cut. I find that it leaves my hair looking and feeling much more natural, smooth and shiny than the water based pomades. It's also really nice that it's reworkable throughout the day. Also, like everything suavecito makes…it smells amazing! Like everything in life, there are trade offs. As many have mentioned, this stuff does take a while to wash out even for me with a relatively short crew cut (about 1 to 1.5inches on top). I'd imagine the longer your hair, the more challenging it'd be to wash out.Tom

Amazing pomade my son has thick hair and I was first using the cremo pomade however after some months it was no longer holding his hair up and I searched for a new one and landed on this one. All I can say is that it’s AMAZING it hold his hair up in the style that he loves and leaves a shiny wet look on him if that’s what he wants if not he just combs it and the shine diminishes for a more natural look. I have been using this product for years (4-5 years). I have thick hair, and the strong hold was really the best. There is nothing "strong" about this product any longer, it has changed…why? It used to be thick and actually strong, not too shiny just perfect. Now it doesn't hold my thick hair in place, and just running your finger through the tub, you can tell it has changed, it's more like the original hold now. I tried to contact customer service to ask if it in fact has changed, and why. No response! No problem, on the lookout for a new brand that ACTUALLY offers a strong hold.Emil B.

Fantastic product. I have a full head of hair but the strands are very thin and this keeps my hair in place without the gel look other products do. Has a great aroma and is easy to use. I have used the American Crew Fiber and Pomade. This product, the "Forming Cream" I would describe as the middle, the perfect balance. My hair is thick, somewhat coarse, yet soft. I wear my hair short, almost like a buzz and usually let it grow longer so that I can comb it over (by longer I'm talking 4-5 inches on the top, sometimes more). What I didn't like about Fiber is that it can be too clay like and usually made my hair too stiff. I found fiber to work best the shorter my hair was, but even then it was a super strong and stiff hold. It was actually working as intended, but not to my liking. What I didn't like about Pomade was the high shine and depending on how much used, greasy feel to my hair. And once again, you buy Pomade for the shine, so working as intended but not to my liking.dipen.p

This stuff works amazing. I used it on my son before and he is hard on his hair at school. This stuff kept his hair in good condition, and kept it in place as I styled it. It smells amazing. I normally use the Clay but there wasn’t any available, so tried this instead. It has medium level hold and leaves your hair feeling nice. You have to rub quite hard in your hands first, to make sure the white doesn’t show up in your hair.Neil

The American Crew Defining Paste is a an absolute must have if you are like me and want natural looking hair with some pliable hold. I use this product everyday and the smell is absolutely amazing, something of a light cologne. I suggest this product above any similar in any brand, this one is the best by far.ssrs434

Apply to damptowel dried hair for best results and finish using a little more. Scoops out perfectly fine. Breaks downEmulsifies great, however it does leave a sticky residue on your hands. The smell is a bit funky, but definitely not the worst. I would use this in combination with a matte productas a finishing product because the shine can look a bit greasy at times. Do keep in mind it is a low hold product, so I wouldnt recommend if you have medium lengthlong hair or if youre expecting your hair to maintain all day. It's tough looking for hair product that's natural and good on the body. While I enjoy a majority of the Badger products, this one needs a little more work on it. A lot of the reviews here are pretty much the same; a little more hold is desperately needed. A little beeswax is needed for a firmer hold. Also, water solubility is a problem as well. It's a bit oily at times when washing it from your hair; sometimes two washes are needed to clean up. Overall, the product does it job; smells great, holds but could hold a bit tighter. I use this pomade everyday. My hair is short and I love the look of an "overgrown" pixie. This stuff gives me just the right texture, piecy hold, and shine. It's flexible, so if I play with my hair throughout the day, it moves but isn't sticky. Because it's water-based, it rinses off hands easily and shampoos out quickly. I think I may have a bad batch. It's basically a solid bar of soap. Nothing like the video. There's no way to remove a dab. I have to pull the whole puck out of the can and lather it up in my hands with a little water like I'm washing my hands, then drop the block back in the can. Although hard to apply, it's is a great pomade! Holds up to the Texas heat and humidity. It will get a little crunchy towards the end of the day, but it's not bad. Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. For best results-this should be applied specifically to showered dried hair. This should not be applied to damp or wet hair. Enjoy!michael .b

I was really unsure how this would work for me and concerned that it would feel sticky or greasy on my hair, but I am very pleased with the results so far! I started with a very small amount and warmed it on my fingertips and gingerly began playing with my style. Immediately I had a bit of piecing and the appearance of movement but it didn't darken my hair or make it look greasy or as though it was full of product. Then I used the spray and voila! I purchased the Gentlemen's Pomade after watching Marcy Dixon's tutorial. It was very similar to other products that I've tried in the past; too much like putting "glue" in my hair. I didn't like the waxy stickiness after applying the product. I only used a tiny bit (size of a dime); I can't imagine if I had used more. Was looking for an alternative to Claymation and this did the job. Easy scoop and applies nicely with a good scent. Washes out easily which is a plus (maybe not so in the rain). The hold was decent but definitely not as strong as Claymation and wasn't as matte as I would like. Overall, I would consider purchasing again if my usual products were unavailable. I don't usually leave reviews but this is such an awesome product that I think will help out a lot of people. The clay pomade has a nice, strong hold but doesn't feel crunchy. It's really easy to apply and style, and the matte finish is perfect for people who have wavy hair (the more shine you have on wavy hair, the more your hair just looks wet). I like a more natural look that keeps my hair in place but allows for me to piece it out.This product is excellent, best stuff I've ever used. I like this product. I've been using it for a while. It definitely has a good hold on your hair without making it look like there's anything in your hair. I would recommend maybe adding some natural ingredients to make it smell a little better, if possible. Also, I don't know who did the wrapping, but filling up the entire box with confetti paper for a small container of this cream pomade was not the move. If it's like an environmentally friendly thing, I get it, but find a new option. Its aroma is quite similar to Fiber and its performance is what I would imagine a light gold version of that product to be. This would be great for medium to coarse hair in short styles that seek natural control without the need for major sculpting or manipulating. As a girl, I know that you get what you pay for when it comes to hair care and hair services. This is a review for other Asians who have difficult hair, not the hair models that could make anything work. The product doesn't work well for the average thick Asian hair if you plan to style it against the natural direction your hair grows (e.g. styling your hair back for typical disconnected undercuts, etc.). The hold just isn't strong enough by itself. I want to start this review by stating that unless a product significantly impresses me, I do not give out a perfect score or rating. With that being said, this is by far the best hair styling product I have ever used. I have been styling my hair with a short, spiked (messy) look for about 5 years. I have relatively thin black hair with not much volume. My hair is long up top with short sides. If I don't put anything in my hair my hair is flat and boring. I've used many hair products to help compensate for my lack of volume. From gel to pomade and even just conditioner, nothing really helped. If I do use product, it seems to wear out easily and won't keep my hairdo I've spent so much time on. I thought I found the right product in the American Crew line, but when I tried this Clay pomade by Baxter, I've never touched anything else. The product itself smells great and can easily be washed out of your hands and hair. It also is kept in a great quality glass container. I like the matte look from this clay pomade and helped keep my hair up throughout the day. I've gotten many compliments on how my hair looks and smells. I take a shower every morning and do my hair, even if I don't go out, because otherwise my hair would annoy the F*** out me and just hang over my face. I usually style after I've changed and towel dried my hair. I find it easier to style when my hair is a little wet, but not damp. If my hair has dried up already, I can just run my hands through the water and shake it around my hair to moisten it up. I like my hair more natural looking and I usually just use my fingers to run my hair back to a more casual and natural comb back style. A little goes a long way. I can run my fingers through my hair throughout the day and still keep the shape I want. I can't do that with anything else. My hair keeps the volume I want and actually keeps it up the whole day. My brother's hair is constantly puffy and he never wanted to use hair products. He has the typical guy style haircut. A friend of mine always has perfectly styled hair that looks natural and this is the product he uses. Got it for my brother and HE USES IT ALL THE TIME. I must have received a defective unit. When taking a fingertip of the product and emulsifying it, there are quite a few solid grains (see picture) that I cannot "melt" away. When running it through my dry hair, it is sticky and hardens fast. Unfortunately, those grains are randomly placed in my black hair and look like big dandruff flakes. I do get more hold and texture from another product. For the price I paid in store, I am not satisfied. Side note, the smell is good but very much a petroleum scent.Zayne

Solid drugstore matte paste that holds hair well and doesn’t have too dull of a matte finish. It can be rough on fine hair depending on your application style. Since it is a paste, it has the tendency to pull out baby hairs when applying – which can be a little annoying. Y’know, these hair products are varied and it takes time and trials to find just the right product for you. This product works great for me. My hair is very fine but very dense. By that I mean each hair is silky and fine but there are tons of them. The liquid version of this is good too but gives a firmer result. I often combine them a bit. A little, like dime-sized dollop works great on my relatively short haircut. Not very expensive and it works well for me. I hope it works the same for you!DC

I used to love this product and I've used it for years. Like another customer review on here, I also think the product has changed and for the worse, unfortunately. The other review was from the UK, but I'm in the USA and I'm seeing a change as well. I've tried two different retailers and both purchases had the same quality issues. It used to be more solid to the touch and now it is much more gooey. It doesn't hold my hairstyle nearly as well as it used to. I was debating between one or two stars but decided on 1 as I would not recommend this anymore and there are better fibers out there.Sean

I have used this product for years. However, this particular pot has a different consistency from previous ones I've purchased. Not as creamy, so not as easy to rub between your fingers, and apply to hair. I am a little disappointed, as not a cheap product. It is usually good value for money, as only need a small amount. I will have to see how it goes, but may need to return to selmarlykins
