The has been my go to staple product for the over 17 years I have been doing hair professionally. I love that they have the regular for more coarse, damaged, thick hair and the Lite for fine, thin hair. I have found from clients expressing concerns when using this that the biggest issue is people use way too much incorrectly. Pro Tip This goes for all products that you are putting in your hair, always start with a dime size if not smaller amount and when it all over your hands as if you rubbing lotion on tops of hands, inbetween fingers, etc . Start running your fingers through the ends of your hair moving up the hair shaft towards the scalp. If you have extremely fine or thin hair you can either just quickly run your fingers with what ever minimal product is left at the roots or skip the routes all together. When you apply the product in this manner it ensures that you were not getting big globs of hair product in only one place of the hair and instead evenly distribute the product. Loved this serum, its very expensive but worth it to me. Not only is the product great, you get quite a bit and you only need like a dime sized amount at MOST, so a little goes a long way and it will last you at least a few months probably even more. It has a nice smell to it, and doesnt feel greasy on the hair at all. It adds so much softness to my hair, makes my hair smooth and shiney, and keeps any frizz from acting up. Im really interested in trying out other products they offer because I liked this so much. It definitely lives up to the hype. I also used it as a preshampoo treatment, basically drenched my hair in it, left it on my hair for about 20 minutes, heated it up with a blow dryer for about 5 minutes and then rinsed and cleaned my hair and my hair felt sooooo amazing. Also, it might be weird to some people, but it has actual silk in it, like from a silkworm, which I find to be really interesting. I dont know the benefits of silk on the hair, but this product definitely works Highly recommend for all hair types. My hair is fried from going blonde so often, but usually it bounces back quickly. Well after going the lightest Ive ever been in September 2019, I decided to take better care of my hair. I bought bio silk because the description made it seem like an awesome reconstructive solution that would help the damaged appearance while fixing it. I also swore off heat products, and only got baby lights to blend my roots a little in January. Aside from that Ive just been extremely gentle with my hair, used hydrating high end shampoo and conditioner….and biosilk. I noticed my ends continued to be like straw so I cut 6 inches off and spot cut all my split ends. So I was beyond surprised when not too long afterward my ends once again felt like fried straw because prior to my use of biosilk my hair always bounced back well After 7 months of deliberate care and use of biosilk, youd think my hair would be soft and shiny as they advertise. Instead my hair is dry, brittle and breaking. Wasnt till I read reviews on here that made me realize its the biosilk Ive been using religiously. Maybe it works well on uncolored, natural hair, but use caution before using this to repair your damaged hair.for me it made it much worse.Anonymous

New look… NOT the same great formula. What were Paul Mitchell thinking ruining this? I had just finished my old bottles of the shampoo and conditioner when I repurchased huge liters because I never wanted to be without it. What a let down. The conditioner is super thin and doesn't smell the same. It is a pale bright green color, whereas before it seemed to have no dyes at all. It used to be thick and gorgeous and made my hair softer than anything else. I'm not exaggerating, this new formula is the worst conditioner I've ever tried. It provides no moisture. When I run my fingers through my hair while the conditioner sits (I do this to evenly distribute it), my fingers get caught in my hair. A sign the conditioner isn't doing its job. After I rinse my hair feels moisture was lost. This stuff causes breakage on my long, thick hair. It's a joke that they're still calling this by the same name. The shampoo is slightly better, but it too is nothing like it was.Tasha12

I love this shampoo and the matching conditioner! I tried it out when I got my hair cut at the salon in November of 2019 and loved the tingly feeling it gave my scalp. Got a travel size of both when I went out of state to visit family, and fell in love with the products. Purchased the full sizes after returning home, then re-purchased when I ran out. My scalp tends to get itchy and this set helps to relieve it. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth with great volume. It was also nice to have this around when my daughter and I picked up a case of head lice! Tea Tree, mint, and lavender are used in some of the natural lice repellents and this product makes no claims against lice but I think it may have helped. In the past year (plus a little) that I've been using this set I have used some of my other shampoos and conditioners (empty bottle challenges, anyone?!) but my hair loves me when I come back to my Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo and conditioner! I absolutely love this tea tree special color conditioner I also have the shampoo and this is from the Paul Mitchell line it is literally the best. You do spend a lot more money and the reason why I bought it is because I have seriously bad dandruff as well as scalp issues and when I went to the hairdresser she definitely recommended it I got it put in my hair just to try it out and it instantly changed my hair and treated the scalp well and a turnaround to make my hair super soft and shiny I kid you not I’ve been having issues for years I now have the big size bottles of this and they work wonders. The best part about it is that it works on colored hair. It doesn’t dry out and it doesn’t change the color and only using a small amount works well. Lock It Up is the first I've bought that does last a bit longer than other brands I've tried. But I think I need something a little bit stronger. This is the best product for locks. I have tried bees wax and other product for locks but it does not hold as well and the product buildup with these product is visible. I love Kenra products. Recently I have started to use their mousse on wet hair distributed in equal amounts throughout before blow drying and styling and I LOVE it. I had ditched mousse for over a decade, but gave this a try and I’m using it every time I wash my hair now! I have very fine hair prone to frizz, but also thick, long, and curly. I bought thus product to use to style my lace wig. It helped style my wig perfectly upon install. By day 3 of using the foaming lotion to style my baby hair i had some irritation in my forehead but it wasn’t too bad. I took a break for a few days from using it or styling my wig & when I used it again it started to severely burn my forehead. I wiped the product off & did continued use. I took my wig off 2 days later and had a chemical burn across my entire forehead. It burned so bad & took a while to clear up. My skin is far from sensitive so I know that wasn’t the issue. I literally just finished blowdrying my hair w/ Straight Guard for the first time and was already composing my review halfway through. I don't think I've ever raved about a product before, but this is AMAZING. My hair is softer, smoother, and shinier than it's been in more than a year (after some coloring mishaps). I usually use a mishmash of styling products before blowdrying–FrizzEase serum, a leave-in conditioner/moisturizer spray, a split-end healer, a straightening cream/heat protector. But this time I decided to just use the Straight Guard to see if it worked standalone, and my god, it was fantastic. I'll start at the beginning: the bottle uses a pump, which I always prefer because you can dispense a more precise amount of product. Just a little bit goes a long way; my hair is shoulder length right now, but thick, and the product itself is incredibly lightweight (something between a cream and a lotion) so it spreads easily. You can actually see a pearlescent quality in the cream, which translates to shine on my hair like I've never seen. I'm not sure if it cut drying time at all, but I actually noticed an improved straightness to my hair. SO MANY "straightening" creams/serums promise that result, but I always have to go over my hair with a flat iron after I'm done blow drying. Supposedly that's good for locking the cuticle, but putting that much more heat on your hair just never seems like a healthy move. Straight Guard eliminated that step. And did I mention my hair is shiny, soft, and smooth as all get out? So for the time saving, the fact that it takes the place of all those other products, and the sheer quality, this one is more than worth the price. I’m a huge fan of pretty much every Chi product. I’ve been using Chi straighteners since I first started straightening my hair 17 years ago, even trying many other brands and quickly going right back to Chi. I have probably 15 different Chi hair products at any given time. They’re all THAT good! Chi has just mastered hair care and styling, in my opinion. This product is no different. As I mentioned, I’ve been straightening my hair for a long time, so I’ve learned that you need good products to protect your hair from all that heat and potential damage it causes. I tried this product because I’ve tried so many others by Chi and loved them. It is a good product to help protect from the heat and damage your straightener would cause, it makes your hair super soft, and it does seem to help extend your straightened style. I, personally, have naturally straight hair, so I don’t need a whole lot of help keeping it straight. I mainly do it to iron out a few spots that get wavy (in the back underneath, on the front sides near my ears). I can’t say how it will do with someone who has naturally curly hair, but my crazy spots didn’t wave again while using this product, and these areas normally would wave up a bit, especially if it’s really humid outside. It did make my hair a little greasy the following day, more than with the straight guard spray that Chi has, but I do have oily hair. This may not be an issue if you have dryer hair. I use this on days I plan on using a flat iron. I use a dime size amount and work it through my hair before blow drying with my round brush. It really helps tame my frizz and keep my hair manageable. My scalp tends to get oily quickly and sometimes products like this make it worse. However, I haven't noticed that when using this. Love this! Bought a 2nd tube to have on hand if they ever discontinue it. I have fine textured, semi-curly bleached hair, but a lot of it. Amla oil is great for keeping my extremely dry hair nourished, soft, and shiny. It also leaves the hair smelling very pleasant. Although the oil is light, you should be careful not to use to much because it has a tendency to run down the neck if you do. Other than that, I have nothing but praise. My friend let me try hers when we were getting ready to go out. I immediately noticed how good it smelled. Clean but very distinguished and fun. The packaging and name is also great. I've got medium-length colored thin hair. I spray it on towel-dried hair and then blow-dry in section, and it does what it promised – "Great for volume at the roots, control at the ends and an overall smooth look". At the first time when I used it I didn't like the sticky feeling, but I got used to it and just go on with drying and then I have my volume at roots, which I wanted! Check out their "badlands paste" for the volume as well, by the way The manufacturer says, this spray works good with roller sets, hot rollers and curling irons – I don't use it daily, so can't tell. The fragrance is not childish, some might say it smells like men's perfume, it might be because of Blonde Woods in hte heart of composition. I received this as a free trial in an order from Beautylish. I have light blonde, very fine hair. Even though I do have fine hair, I have a lot of it. I consistently use volumizing shampoo and root lifters/products that add extra body to hair. This particular product worked for my hair very well, though nothing about it stood out. My hair never looked flat when I used it, but it was the average amount of body I get with any other product I've used. This thickening spray was also easy to use, and had a pleasant smell. I looked into the price of this product, and for what it costs I however would not recommend it because you can find cheaper products that do the same thing. I am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my haircare, but every now and again if a product is amazing enough from another line , I will cheat on my usual and dip into the other line for that product. This is one of them The Moroccan Oil Treatment oil, which I feel is their most popular product that lead the way for this brand I think lol yes it is expensive, yes I get it cheaper because I am a liscenced professional lol but, when it comes to these higher end hair products , usually,you get what you pay for. I use the regular Moroccan oil treatment but there is also a light for those with finer hair , more oily , sleek type ,thinner hair that this regular one might be a little heavy for. I also apply this to dry hairz over my midshaft and ends when I feel they could use a little TLC . If theyre looking a little dry maybe just a little bit of this run through it and it will make your hair feel all soft and loveable again. I like the smell, it isnt anything strong or overpowering. This is the only hair product I do use from Moroccan oil, I am sure they do have other good products but at that price point and already being happy with my current hair care routine, Ive never felt the need to try them and I feel that this product here is their Holy Grail so to speak, like the 1 amazing stand out product where they are at the top of their game. I really love using this stuff. I have for years. My original favorite was Chi Silk Infusions and I still like that stuff but I feel this does the job better. So basically youd use something like this for heat and uv protection as well as moisture and shine. Mostly I use it for getting some moisture back in my really parched, heat abused hair for a nice, healthy and naturally shiny look. Using products like that can go wrong really fast. You can cross the line into greasy mess from shiny tresses quick. You can do that with this too if you use too much but a lot of products do that no matter how little you use. This lasts forever because even with the thickest and driest hair needs only a dime size or less warmed between the palms and lightly rubbed through every layer from root to ends with finger tips open to get every strand focusing on the ends. Ive noticed that it gives me life back to my hair. It gives me that naturally healthy movement you just dont get with fried hair. With this and changing my hair habits I have come almost all the way back from totally broken hair to healthy hair thats a little dry and has split ends. And with my current issues it makes it look like I have none. Especially when I flat iron my hair with this as a heat protectant it almost seals the cuticle completely and keeps my hair looking super healthy until my next wash. I also use it randomly to add a touch of moisture back into my hair if its really dry. Or if my ends are getting bad between trims I use this and flat iron them to seal them and make them look healthy temporarily. It also smells amazing. I love the comforting and unique almost but not quite tropical scent. Its very unique and very feminine without being like a perfume. It makes my hair smell fresh and pretty and that scent lasts for a couple days. Overall it is a little expensive but it lasts a long time so it ends up costing almost the same as the drugstore over time because if does last so long. Its just more of an initial investment. A sephora employee told me this stuff actually is bad for your hair and dries it out but I dont think it would have gotten so famous if it wasnt so great for so many people. Maybe she just had a bad experience. It wouldnt have been the first time I had been given bad information by a Sephora employee but I just thought Id mention it. I totally recommend. Lets just say, I love Morrocanoil and have for years the product has always been consistently the same until I tried the bottle from this seller.This does not smell or feel like MoroccanoilI love my normal Morrocanoil because its Lux, silky smooth and has a specific color and wonderful smell. This product was not any of those things it was tacky it stuck to my hands and didnt glide through my hair and made my hair feel rough. It had a nice smell but not the Moroccanoil scent.I still have some Moroccanoil from my last bottle and even the color is different.This new product is not good. Not sure if I just got an off bottle or what has happened.I read over the label and it said nothing about a new formula. All I can say is this is not the signature Morrocanoil and its not a good product. It feels like castoroil.I liked the price and thats why I ordered from this seller but next time I will just pay full price at the salon because I know what Im getting.It even wasnt in its signature box or had the same colored label so that makes me more curious.I couldnt find a way to contact the seller I went to the reorder page and the sellers name was different then this one. I was buying pricey product thinking that it would define my curls but eventually I found out I could save money!! I love mixing this gel with leave in conditioner as another reviewer mentioned. Don’t Shrink is a CGM approved protein gel with olive oil, shea butters, and glycerin. Flax seed really helps my hair retain its curl shape, the large jar helped me explore different styling techniques to see what works best with my hair and the price helped me feel better about re-styling failed experiment days vs conserving pricy product; which let’s face it, there’s a lot of fails in the beginning for curlies lol. I tried it out with super long hair and also with a long bob reset chop and both had consistent results. I achieved really great definition with a hard hold, I still had frizz but I also know this is most likely user error since I’m always improving my routines. I clarify every wash so I’m not one to comment on build up. I really wanted to love it, but I found out mid tub that I prefer shrinkage while I train my curl type. Like many wash and go naturalistas who rock the teeny weeny fro, I have gone through a lot of products trying to find that ONE which does what I need. I have finally found Aunt Jackies and I'm thrilled. It is the holy grail! I have moisturized curls that pop, no dryness or flakiness, and the curls last for DAYS with minimal fuss. For daily maintenance, I just fill a spray bottle with water, jojoba oil and Aunt Jackies leave-in and spritz that mixture to refresh my curls. This is a very basic product and can ve gotten very cheap at many Asian/Indian shop. Gooseberry oil is great for your hair and scalp, and for the 3-4 dollars you pay it is well worth a go. I have noticed it helps against hair fall and because it's meant to be massaged into the scalp and worked into the ends, it going to be good regardless. Scalp stimulation promotes not only hairgrowth, but it also helps against dandruff. Again: for the cost it's definitely worth a try. I like the scent, but they have different scents, like jasmine if the original scent isn't your thingkatja.j

Since using Dabur toothpaste one year ago, It has removed all stains and discoloration. Leaves breath fresher way longer than commercial toothpaste with all it chemicals and additives. I am a user of all of Dabur tooth care products. Highly Recommend! I also have used Dabur, Alma Hail Oil for quite sometime now. It has caused hair to grow, where there was no hair before, Stop all split ends in my beard and what little hair I have left on my head Some people says it has help their hair turn black again! I've been trying a more holistic approach on growing my hair. I used to use almond oil in my hair when I was in high school. And that was when my curls were the thickest and strongest. I tried it again and I use it on my oil days. Because my hair gets super dry. I like taking it and rubbing it into my scalp and leaving it in while my hair is still wet so if it feels like my scalp is absorbing this oil. I haven't used it continuously but I've been using it for about 3 months now. And my scalp feels great.natasha.s

If you're looking for a hair gel that has a super-duper, concrete-like firm hold…this is it. It's also got a pleasant, non-offensive, masculine scent. It's easy to spread throughout the hair (unlike some of the other "ultra firm" hold hair gels) and you can easily thin out the gel with some water. However, it does take about an hour for this gel to dry at ambient room temperature, once applied. Just note that if you're looking to transfer the gel into another bottle (like a travel bottle), the scent disappears quickly and it starts to take on a weird consistency. Keep it in the original bottle or buy a smaller bottle size. And if you're keeping it on your bathroom counter, look into buying a pump. American crew is a really great product and works exactly as advertised. Its smooth and rich in texture and leaves your hair a little crunchy while firmly holding hair in place.. but it's just to expensive. I can get the same quality hair care If not less from a local grocery store for 75% less. I would use this product all the time, I just wish it was more affordable. It's like most high end hair styling products. It does what it says it should. I use a pea size blob, a bit of water to emulsify and run through my hair prior to going in with a hair-dryer. Great volume for a high pony tail or any up-do. My son uses it to slick back his hair. Pure gel, no water. There's the usual tacky residue on your hands, brushes and combs. Wash brushes and combs using a little shampoo and you're ready for the next day.melissa.h

I went to CVS because I ran out of leave in conditioner. I picked up my usual SheaMoisture Leave In Conditioner 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil and the Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream right next to it. It caught my eye because the container was small and I had never heard of the brand. Plus you couldn't beat the price so I said let me just try this and worst case it's not expensive. WOOOOO let me tell you that I came on this website just to LEAVE A REVIEW because my curls are like never before!!! I almost want to return the expensive SheaMoisture Leave In. Please do yourself a favor and buy this! At first it feels stiff in your hair but rinse some water over it and MAGIC happens.Dalila

Works really well on short naturally curly or wavy hair when dry. Not greasy or oily. Washes out really clean without leaving residue. Compared several products in the store for about 1/2 before deciding to get this item. Will probably be buying this item regularly. Also, I do not use this product every day as I have found that using it maybe a few times a week ( 3 times at most or every other day) and just moving the natural texture of my hair around provides adequate grooming keeping my hair looking natural and not stiff or saturated with hair grease and gook. I have short, slightly soft, and loose curly wavy hair that is probably less coarse and kinky where the texture of this cream is stiff enough to provide definition but not so stiff that it flakes up or feels greasy to the touch. I did not expect much from this product having purchased it to fix up my hair after being unable to afford a haircut for a pending job interview. I didn't get the job but my hair still looks great from the product and save me $35 at the barber.Michael

I started using this cream because a friend of mine said that it would tame my hair LOL. I have a ton of very wavy hair that could have been very pretty curls with the right stuff well… This is definitely the right stuff. I usually use matrix wonder boost but I get a lot of my stuff from Sephora. I figured this is the same price as matrix but I didn’t have to pay for s/h for two separate items on different sites. Glad I tried this. This stuff smells good and is a little tackier than matrix and I don’t need a whole lot to get the volume I want. It leaves my hair soft and not sticky and works just as great on day 2 hair or just reviving what’s in my hair with some water and floofing up. Will order this stuff again. Haven’t had any issues with spraying. I like this better than matrix wonder boost.EpicLint

Go this from my local salon . And love how it styles my hair. The scent is also nice but not my favorite. I feel like a lot of volume boosting produce leave your hair super difficult and sticky. This one doesn’t do that if you don’t overuse it. I use it for my crown and bangsmaria.r

Love this! It smells so good and it is the perfect weight and consistency for a leave in. Leaves my hair feeling moisturized and not dry. BUT it’s impossible to get out the bottle. The bottle does not give- it has very little squeeze to it. It’s made out of a very thick plastic and when I squeeze it, it feels like I am going to break it. There’s no turning it upside down and shaking- the leave in is thick and will not budge. So this needs to come either in a completely different bottle. Preferably one of those squeeze, upside down type bottles. Or in a jar. Or just make the plastic thinner so it’s easier to squeeze. I take off the top and squeeze it out onto my bathroom counter and use it that way.Baby Girl

I love this whole line of Camille rose products! They smell absolutely incredible and works so well for my level 11 platinum baby fine blonde hair that gets tangled so easily, I had so much postpartum hair loss after having my babies! I mean literally I was half bald it was really bad! I tried so many different products with no luck for regrowth. I was at the breaking point of wanting to just shave my head because I felt like I didn’t have a choice it just looked so bad, it was so patchy and so many different lengths. This product is just okay, it’s definitely nothing special, I have been impressed with every other Camille Rose product so far besides this one. I have dry curly/wavy hair that gets dry and tangled very easily and I found this gave me no slip and not enough moisture for my hair. The reason I said this product that is okay it’s because once my hair is dry it does feel soft with this product in but for me I definitely need the detangling properties in a moisture milk/leave in conditioner as I found this product hard to work through my hair. I was disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this product more because it does contain some really nice ingredients such as avocado Leaf juice, castor seed oil , macadamia seed oil and rice seed protein so I reckon it would definitely work for someone else probably just wasn’t right for my hair type!sophie.b
