I think this is one of the best products in PCA's skin care line. I have tried several moisturizers that claim to be suited for normal to oily skin. This product actually fulfills that claim and is better than I expected! It is soothing, not drying, and leaves my skin nourished and supple. A real treat for oily skin types! Got this on popsugardabble. This caused intensely dry gross crusty peeling on my face on my eyelids and under my eyes. My skin is still burning a week later. I deeply regret putting this on my face. I look like an exema patient, I don't have exema. My skin was perfect before I used this. I don't have oily skin so it was a very bad idea to put this on my skin because my skin is dry and coming off in huge chunks and it looks extremely embarrassing and if I put moisturizer on my face it does nothing. It dried out and peeled my skin on my fingers too. I'll never use it again and I can't wait for the effects to be over.N

This serum helped saved my skin. I used to get a lot of hormonal acne on my jawline and sometimes around the hairline(always cleanse the hairline area really well). I’m talking 10-20 pimples ranging from cystic to pesky little bumps 24/7. The pore warrior serum along with daily use of benzoyl peroxide completely changed my skin! It's been touch and go with these booster serums for me, but I love Pacifica as a whole so I wanted to try this one since I have combo skin. I've been mixing 4-6 drops in with my moisturizer in the evening and I definitely think it's helping balance out my skin! I get a really oily t zone and forehead normally and since using this, I don't look like an oil slick a few hours after washing my face. It hasn't negatively impacted my dry areas either, though I don't know that they're anymore moisturized either. Overall, I'll most likely repurchase.Kendra

I have tried everything under the sun and came across this at Ulta and decided I had nothing to lose for the price point. I’m 49 and have HUGE pores! You could see them across the room and makeup and blackheads love to hang out in those babies! HELLO? Gross right? So I used this for a week with Pacifica cleansers and tonics and I broke out like crazy!! I thought WTF did I do? I gave it another week and not only did my skin clear up beautifully, but it was brighter, firmer and I’ve got the “glow” ladies and gents! I forgot to get the moisturizer which is annoying. But I love the wash and the night and day serums. The Face wash has a weird texture like there's little pieces of gel in the product but it's a good feeling when applied and scrubbed in. The serums are easy to use and you don't need alot. The price is great and I love that I can do everything I need in 3 steps. My face is smoothing out and now I only deal with hormonal acne. I love what these products messages and charities are too! I will be adding The Ordinary peels and retinol with my routine to make sure I'm set but definitely will continue with Hyrams line. Also PLEASE come out with an eye cream/stick/serum!!Lexi R.

The skin on my face was flaky and oily and blackheads everywhere! I tried so many products and nothing worked and then you popped up on my phone and I figured I had nothing to lose so I listened to you talking about what products worked and which ones didn't and how each product works and different types of skin problems, I was especially interested in combination skin and what to use and what we could expect from it so I decided to try your products and so far so good, the dryness and flaking are better and the blackheads seem to be smaller and fewer. This product claims gentle exfoliation, but it was too harsh for my skin. It stung each time I put it on, and caused my skin to turn red and blotchy. I gave 3 stars because the product had a great ingredient list and may work for those with less sensitive skin. It also had a good consistency that absorbed into skin well.Brittani

I rarely leave reviews online but I need to share this with you all. I've just received this new product and I absolutely love it. I have been using for the last 6 days and I see my skin looks brighter, more radiant and the acne scars (that I still have) are getting smaller and less visible. This product absolutely works for me. I have tried so many different products in the past with not much difference to my skin. I put this on my face at night and my skin is smoother, more even and clear. I use other products during the day, but this has been the game changer for my skin and I would not be without it now. I use it for the glycolic acid and this one has 15 % before that I used the 10% one in this same range for 2years with great results. I thought it was time to start using the stronger one which I have been for 6months now. I'm 49 years old and my skin is looking better than it did even 5 years ago, all due to the glycolic acid in this product. I use it consistently and will always use it now. I stopped using it for 2 weeks once and I could really notice my skin not looking as good as it did. Wish I had known about the benefits of glycolic acid years ago. I bought this product a few months ago after my dermatologist recommended it. Wow! What a difference it made in one week. The bumpy bits I had accepted as a part of ageing are gone. I now use this 1-2 times a week only now for maintenance and I’m very happy with my new smoother skin. Apply a VERY light film of this lotion otherwise it can feel sticky.Wilma

A little goes a VERY long way with this product. If you think you can just squeeze a quarter sized amount into your hands and not feel like a butter ball for the next 30 minutes, you're dead wrong. The smell is not pleasant either. Feels like they went for use over fragrance, which is fantastic, but it would help if it didn't sit under my nose. The burning sensation I received from the other Neostrata products is present in this one as well. Go figure, an acid product burning. Not nearly as burning as the cleanser, but harsher than the serum. I still feel the need to use a regular moisturizer at the end of my routine because this lotion feels very sticky and heavy and I just don't feel like it's going to provide the moisture my super dry winter skin needs. This was my first purchase from PCA and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I've been dealing with a new wave of hormonal acne for a few months and was been looking for a gel texture moisturizer to hydrate my skin during the day. The acne treatments I've been using have dried out my skin pretty severely so when I saw that this was designed to sooth irritated skin and the very high reviews I was excited to try it out. If I use this on its own or preferably with a face oil (I've been using Sunday Riley UFO) my skin is fine, not the most hydrated it could be but pretty good for daily wear. BUT if I try to use this with a prescription benzoyl peroxide or dapsone my face tightens and dries out in a matter of minutes and I experience a burning sensation. I also find that if I try to put a thicker moisturizer on top to try and counteract it's drying/irritating effects it immediately pills and I'm left with thick globs of product around my face that don't absorb, rendering my entire routine pretty useless. I'd give this product 3 stars but it's ridiculously pricey for not very much product and very underwhelming results. I think this would work well for people with oily skin, but otherwise I think there are much better gel moisturizers out there.Anonymous

I like this moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way. It feels kind of like a mix between serum and cream. It tingles when you first apply it. You do have to let it dry before applying makeup because your skin is a little sticky until it’s completely absorbed. This is a good day time moisturizer. But as for myself, I need a little more hydration at bedtime. Sometimes my skin looks dry after using this the night before.dina.h

I got this moisturizer in my last Allure Beauty box subscription and I finished it two nights ago. Its a good moisturizer with no scent and white in color. Its also not thick. This combined with PC benzoyl peroxide has kept my skin clear for months, with the exception of 2-3 pimples around that time of the month but I'm not complaining. I used to have horrible cystic acne that covered my entire chin and jawline so a few small pimples is a godsend to me. Also, I find that it has significantly reduce the PIH around my chin and jawline where I had hormonal cystic acne which is a plus. Because this is very moisturizing I find that it helps with the dryness from using benzoyl peroxide/AHAs/BHAs. I usually use this at night in conjunction with my benzoyl peroxide and or the ordinary niacinamide + zinc serum and DE daily essential moisturizer. Please never discontinue this product nor change its formulation. It's freaking amazing!quinn

Love this creamy ointment. I use it for everything, even my eyebrows when they get dry. I LIKE the tea tree smell, and this cream has an odor for the first few minutes after you use it. If you like tea tree odor, this is a great choice as a healing ointment or moisturizer.iHerb Customer

Loving this ointment! My first order arrived about 6 weeks ago, and I knew I needed to order more after using for a couple of weeks. I was looking for something to help with my rosacea and the constant breakouts that come with it. This has certainly done the trick! I think I've gotten 2 or 3 pimples in all the time of use, where I was getting multiple each week before. As it is winter, I've been using once after I shower each night and then as needed in the morning with the dry conditions. Note this can be very oily if used in large amounts, but that makes it great too… doesn't need to be lathered on thick. One container will easily last me two months, maybe longer. I live in a dry climate, already have dry skin, and have fairly sensitive skin. This facewash is the only one I've ever used that I will not stop buying. It's cruelty-free and leaves my skin feeling moisturized after. Even before I put on serums or moisturizers, my skin doesn't feel parched like facewashes I've used before. It is very gentle, so I recommend using a makeup remover or oil cleanser (I just use coconut oil) prior to making sure all of your makeup is off and you can get the most from this luscious product. I am soooooooo in love with this line of Eminence. I have purchased the stone crop- Gel Wash, Toner, Moisturizer, Body Lotion, Serum, Sugar Scrub, Masque and. Fizzolant. I am a big fan of the smell and there was a point where I wondered if I would ever get the skin I had in my 20/30's back. I also use a few other products by this brand. I am fair skinned so every little blemish and dark spot shows. I bruised my arm horribly and I used the stone crop lotion and I was baffled how quickly the bruise started to fade. When I bruise it takes a month to disappear. Not this time. For some reason I also started breaking out daily for the past 3 years. I went through 2 day periods where my face was perfect and then boom breakout city. The cycle was upsetting. These products have left me speechless; I am barely wearing make-up during the day and my skin is flawless not to mention the dark spots and freckles on my face are actually fading. All I can say is this product is worth it's weight in gold. I am sold and need to look no further. I really like this cleanser. I switched out a dermatologist BHA cleanser for this one and I believe it’s made a difference for my inflamed breakouts. My skin is smoother and less inflamed after only a week. I am using in conjunction with the Eminence Calm Skin Chamomile Moisturizer, and I feel like if you are suffering from painful breakouts in addition to irritated or dry skin this cleanser is the best way to go. Especially if you already exfoliate with something like retinol or an AHA, stick with the good stuff that’s gentler on your skin and try out this cleanser. I prefer it to the acne cleansers that are drying and feel like they strip your skin. This one will not do that and it lathers well when you add water, while leaving your skin feeling clean and fresh. Cant really go wrong with Eminence from what I’ve tried but this cleanser is now a favorite.Natalie

I'm 40 years old and have suffered from acne since I was in high school. I've been on every acne medication known to man, including Accutane. I stopped using Retin-A and my prescription cleanser because I didn't want the chemicals on my face anymore after 25 years of using them. My aesthetician used a mixture of Eminence products on me in her salon. They felt good so I figured I would give them a shot. My skin was breaking out really bad when I went to see her (even with using the prescription meds/cleansers). After about three weeks of using a combination of the Eminence products, my face was totally different. I haven't broken out in months now and my acne scaring is diminishing. I was getting a lot of hormonal acne that has totally subsided. I'm convinced it's from the combination of these products. Here is my regimen in case anyone is interested: Morning – wash with Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Cleanser (only if I have worked out). I have somewhat dry skin so I don't wash my face if I haven't worked out in the morning. Post Workout – wash with Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Cleanser – my aesthetician told me that it's important to wash my face immediately post-workout since the pH of the skin changes with sweat….even if the wash is with just water. Night – Probiotic Cleanser, Probiotic moisturizer, dab Willow Bark Extract on blemish prone areas and dark spots.Anonymous

Overall really love the Eminence lines but it's taken a bit to find the lines my skin really loves. The Probiotic Cleanser did not end up being a good fit for my skin (dry skin, hormonal, cystic acne, gut imbalance that probably didn't respond well to the yogurt/probiotic/lactic acid). I have been using the Stone Crop Cleanser (+Red Current exfoliator and Stone Crop Whip) instead over the last few months and have found a really good fit there. Not a bad product (always clean smelling & gentle), just not a good fit for me despite sounding perfect based on the description. I am personally finding that all the lines that describe targeting acne either don't help or make my skin worse. So far the more nourishing Eminence lines (and targeting my systematic imbalances w/ a functional medicine doctor), instead have been great!Anna

I don’t know why this stuff is so good, but the results are astounding. This is not greasy whatsoever, and soaks in quickly. I have extremely dry skin. I have chosen to use this nightly only because of the price point. I use something different for mornings, but I would use the transformation cream more often if I could afford to! This face cream really does transform your face. I received a sample of the Bioglycolic cleanser and the Transformation cream at my local Massage Envy. After one use I noticed a difference. My skin needed some TLC after being diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) and undergoing 6 months of IV Chemo and 1 year of Chemo pills. My skin has never looked better in my entire life. I have only been using the Bioglycolic Cleaner, C-Esta, the Transformation Cream, and the tinted sunscreen for 3 weeks!! I am no longer wearing foundation. I really love this product. I use it most mornings following Maelove Glowmaker Serum. Using after a fluid serum makes the application of the Obagi go a little further. 1-2 pumps for my face/neck/chest. I love that it has both peptides and Vit C which is pretty difficult to find. Follow with CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 with ceramides/hyaluronic acid. This combo has prevented development of new acne scarring and keeps my skin looking fresh. I bought this for myself and convinced my husband to start using a serum. He refused at first because he has sensitive skin and always broke out as a teenager. He's 41 now and I told him he should be using SOMETHING on his face to reduce fine lines. He relented and now loves this serum. This is my favorite overnight exfoliating serum. I actually prefer this over both the Drunk Elephant Framboos and the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. The main reason why is that this serum is both gentle and effective, whereas the others — while reasonably effective as well — are pretty harsh, and can be a bit of an attack on your skin. Herbivore’s Prism serum is different primarily because it uses botanical sources of AHAs/BHA rather than just straight acids. From looking at the ingredients label, it looks like Prism uses something called ACB Fruit Mix, which is a combination of botanical extracts (e.g. orange, sugar cane, etc.) that contain natural AHAs. It also has Willow Bark, for a botanical source of BHA. I prefer these ingredients over straight acids — especially in an overnight, leave-on treatment — because I find them less harsh and more soothing, while still effectively exfoliating. My skin seems to respond better to this, and I wake up in the morning with calm, clear skin. Prism is a clear liquidy serum that feels nice, spreads well, and layers well with other serums and/or oils. One of my main night routines is all Herbivore: after cleansing, I use the Jasmine Green Tea toner, followed by the Prism serum, topped off with the Lapis oil. I have combination oily skin and pores that tend to clog, and this routine really works for me. I think this serum could also work for really any skin type looking to add in an acid serum — perhaps especially for sensitive skin that has been reactive to other harsher acids. I don’t want to like this stuff because I feel like I can get another exfoliator for cheaper….but man I really like this stuff. My skin is very sensitive to AHA, it makes my skin look so clear but then it also makes my skin look terrible because I break out and get so dry. This is the first AHA product that I’ve actually been able to use. It’s very gentle but still effective enough to notice results. The formula is very watery which I love because I layer a lot in my routine. When it dries it can be a tad sticky but really not that bad at all compared to some. For people saying it “does nothing”—put on more then. You will get more results the more product you use. 3 drops will cover your face plenty because it’s so easy to spread-but you can make it more concentrated by adding more drops. When I do that I can sometimes feel a slight “tingle” on my skin that doesn’t burn and goes away quickly. A little goes a long way due to the ease of spreadability but don’t be afraid to use extra product if you want stronger results. This will smooth and refine your skin. I really didn’t realize how much I depended on this until I stopped using it for a couple of days due to time constraint. Suddenly my skin was dry and peeling out of the blue. I had recently started using a stronger retinol but hadn’t had any peeling for over a week. This product is what was keeping my skin from peeling after the retinol due to the consistent exfoliation. Colorless, no smell, layers well, and effective-price-could be worse but could be better. This isn’t going to give you crazy overnight results like some products but that’s not what it’s meant to do. It’s a gentle exfoliator but EFFECTIVE. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this product has completely transformed my skin. Since I was a teenager, I would suffer from acne and redness, mostly lots of small bumps (closed comedones) all over my forehead and around my nose. I've tried all sorts of products – lots of strong, drying cleansers, topical treatments, various exfoliators, but honestly just accepted that my skin wouldn't budge. After a few weeks of using this serum, my acne was significantly better. I've used this product twice a day for over a year, and I rarely get acne now, only small red splotches that often vanish overnight. My typical routine now is super simple and basically the same 2x a day; just the Cerave renewing SA cleanser, this TO Niacinamide, then a moisturizer & spf in the AM. I try to exfoliate twice a week, but even in weeks where I fall off this habit, my skin stays clear thanks to this serum. I almost never write reviews for products, but am writing this now so anyone with similar skin issues to me can give this serum a try! I had never tried other niacinamide products before this, so I imagine other niacinamide solutions would also work well for me – but this TO serum is so affordable, I don't plan on trying anything else any time soon.Jess

This serum has been an almost-miracle product for my sensitive, redness-prone, blemish-prone skin. My only qualm with it is that it SERIOUSLY STINGS if you apply it to any active breakouts or broken skin. My skin was in seriously terrible condition due to a Lupus flare and hormonal acne, but after everything healed, I have been able to use this without irritation, following it with the Hyaluronic Acid/B5 serum, Pycnogenol, and Marula Oil (or moisturizing factor lotion). It really has transformed the texture of my skin, to a more noticeable degree than most of The Ordinary's other products (besides the Alpha Lipoic Acid serum, which I miss so much). My pores are refined, especially on my forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks on either side of my nose. Once prone to being easily-inflamed, sensitive areas of my face are no longer red, and now look more smooth. Oily patches, especially my nose, are less-oily. I have fewer clogged pores and blackheads, and less blemishes from irritation. I purchased the 2oz bottle from The Ordinary's website, since I apply this to my chest, upper arms, and back as well, as I sometimes have breakouts from malassezia. It also quickly fades the purple/red post-blemish marks on my very fair skin. It does make my skin feel drier and tight if I don't moisturize thoroughly afterwards, especially during this part of the winter, so keep that in mind. The price also makes it easier to use it liberally where ever I need it. Other than the stinging, it's a fantastic serum for my very high-maintenance, 30-year-old skin.arh

I heard amazing things about this product and did some digging into all the great benefits niacinamide and zinc have for the skin, and it seemed like it would help target my main skin concerns! I was aware of the possibility that I may experience purging and that some people can have allergic reactions but it's incredibly rare to the point where many dermatologists will assume its not an allergy to niacinamide, rather another ingredient present in the product that the person reacted to. I knew niacinamide was meant to help with the skin barrier as well as brightening and texture improvement, all things I struggle with. I did a bit more digging and noticed that the tested amounts shown to be effective and safe for the skin range between 2-5%. To be clear, I'm not saying 10% is bad or dangerous, it's just not as tried and true as that 2-5% range that's been studied many times. Like all new products, I did a 48 hour patch test on my arm as directed by The Ordinary's guidelines, and had no issues. Before starting my routine I used their (very helpful!) resource for when and how often to use specific products and to only introduce one new product at a time to prevent irritation/negative effects. What I'm a little upset about, is the lack of easily accessible information about how this product can cause irritation (among other negative effects) for people with non-oily skin. After about a week of use (3 drops for face and neck), my cheeks became hard like rough leather… I also felt a burning sensation after each use, but really wanted to give it a chance and went back to the basics (cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen) and I still had issues and my skin continued to harden and dry up. I was frustrated and confused because I couldn't find answers as to why I was having such a strange reaction anytime I used this product. Eventually, after much digging, I discovered that this should not be used by those with dry skin, especially at such a high concentration of 10%. I still stand by niacinamide and zinc as skincare ingredients, they are excellent for your skins health and have really helped many people in their skincare journey. This can be a great option for those struggling with acne prone skin and textural irregularities (if you have an oilier skin type). I'm here because I don't want other people with similar skin types to mine to buy this and feel lost or confused if they have a bad reaction. It's not that your skin is being ridiculous or difficult, it just may be that the concentration is too high, or that niacinamide may not be something you use as an active/solo-ingredient in your daily/weekly skincare routine. I challenge The Ordinary to include a section under this product outlining that if you have dry skin, that this product may cause issues, or better yet, offer a niacinamide product formulated for people with dry and/or sensitive skin to increase inclusivity. All in all, I hope whoever chooses to read this lengthy review, that you feel more informed and empowered to make a confident decision for yourself. By no means do I dislike The Ordinary, I LOVE all the other products I have from them! I just wish I had been advised about the potential issues if you don't have more of an oily/combo skin type.MMB

I had been buying the UFO oil for a few years and while I liked how it felt on my skin, I didn't notice a huge difference. My mom let me try her Good Genes one time and I loved the instant plumping effect and dewy finish. I ended up splurging on my own bottle and so far it's definitely been worth it. I have ridiculously finicky skin that breaks out if the wind blows the wrong way but I haven't had any issues with this product (or any Sunday Riley products for that matter). I've been using Good Genes for a few months now and it seems to have helped even my skin tone. I'm 22 so I bought it to just generally improve the appearance of my skin, but my mom really likes using it in combination with a retinol for wrinkles. The main thing I love is that immediate improvement you can see– the day after using it, my skin is always bouncy and glowing. I use it a few times a week, and I don't need too much to cover my face and neck, so I think the bottle will probably last me a while. Either way, I think it's worth it. It's definitely the best Sunday Riley product I've tried so far (as compared to UFO oil, Lunar oil, and CEO serum).hrbeach

The reviews are true. This is amazing stuff. It helps to keep my complexion nice, free and clear of zits. But you definitely need to do a double cleanse before applying oils and serums, and layering this on top. It has a bit of a strong smell with thick consistency, and definitely stings until you get used to it. I was unsure but it took about 10 days for me to start seeing results. This is definitely something that sensitive skin folks will have to build up to, I used to use it every other day as part of my nighttime skin care routine. Now I use it every day, morning and night. It sloughs dead skin cells off very gently, and works really well under moisturizer. My skin looks fresher, younger, and my acne seems to be more under control. I have several different sizes of it, including the super jumbo size that I bought during a holiday sale at Macy’s.rosie.k

When I discovered this line and this product years ago I was hooked. Good genes was exactly what the doctor ordered when it came to my skin. It was lovely and worked so well. Skin was dewy, brighter, hydrated and my skin looked better and better. Makeup set perfectly on top of it. I could tolerate it from the first smear. I showed it daily and stocked up during sales. NOT THE NEW FORMULA. I don't know what changed exactly. But first wear with this new formula and I broke out with cystic acne. Yes I know that hormones etc can cause cyclic cystic acne. But this was from the product. I even continued to use it with the same results. Then I even tried it as a mask with the clay cleanser thinking my skin somehow became too sensitive for good genes. Well the same acne came around again!. so disappointed… That's around the time when I realized they changed the product formula. It feels the same going on and my skin looks good and bright and hydrated like the old formula, But it has caused the worst cysts and acne on my face:(Killpretty

i have dry to normal and slightly dehydrated skin type. i didn't get any bad reaction from using this. honestly I don't know how well it works when included in my skincare routine. I wonder if ny skin would still look the same with or without this? but it seems to work well? I like to use this 2 or 3 times a week mainly at night. remember to shake before using to mix the oil together. its very liquidy too. my skin looks shinier after using this because of the oil. I'm only surpised to see the packing break so randomly after 1-2 months I opened it. the dropper broke off from the black round bit as seen in the pictures. I still have a lot in there and now I'm not sure how I should store it or if I should keep it as is in the original container.Candy

As for the product, I have been using the miracle serum alongside a toner, essence, hyaluronic acid, and double cleansing routine. I had routine breakouts depending on my diet and hormones but I have noticed a considerable difference with the serum. My skin is a lot more vibrant and hydrated and I am experiencing fewer breakouts. Its got a good consistency and I do not notice a smell (but I am not sensitive to scents). I do not find it takes too long absorb into the skin like other serums I have tried. Incorporation of the serum is something I plan to do consistently. This 30 day miracle serum has a very watery consistency absorbs super quickly into my skin. This serum does have a fragrance of orange peels at first but the scent isn't super overpowering tends to fade some after applying. It didn't cause my skin any irritation but it did help with keeping my skin calmed soothed. I've always dealt with big pores/blackheads, after using this serum for 3 weeks I've noticed a big difference in the size of my pores my blackheads aren't gone but it definitely seems to be helping with them. This serum doesn't dry my skin out doesn't leave my skin looking oily. I'm definitely going to continue to use. The best part is this serum is said to works for all skin types. I love the whole resist line! It is perfect for my drier skin, and this is no exception. My skin texture appears much smoother, and has a nice glow to it, with no signs of any dry/dead skin left behind. I was previously using the 10% AHA exfoliant, but actually prefer this and have seen better results from it. I like the feel of it on my skin, it does not ball up and has not personally caused any sensitivity like it has in others. Hi Belle, thank you for your nice review. I gave this 3 stars because it makes my skin super itchy. It does go away after about an hour. But the itch and burn is horrible. I spoke with a CS person at PC and they suggested I mix with the moisture boost. I did try that it and it did nothing… The issue I have is that i LOVE this product and it works. My skin looks so nice in the pm after using it within my nightly regime. Unfortunately, I cant buy it again because of the discomfort it causes me. I do use the 2% BHA gel in the am and LOVE it. Maybe PC can make a gel AHA that is less than 5%. Just a suggestion.Stacey

I've been happily using the BHA 2% for years and ran out so I tried this sample I've had for a while and WOW. The BHA is good, but this is much better on my skin. I could see a noticeable difference after one use. I used it at night, and it did burn a little for a few seconds as others have mentioned but went away quickly. The next morning, I looked in the mirror and thought wow my skin looks good and remembered I had used this product. My skin was noticeably brighter and smoother looking. I have rosecea so I was a little concerned that the burning would cause a flare up, but it's been a couple of weeks and so far so good. I've been using it 2x a week for about a month now and really love the results.Joyce

So I really liked this product in the beginning and was reliant on it. I then did more research and figured out that alcohol based products can be very dehydrating and lead to slower healing and accelerated breakouts for certain skin types. Once I stopped using this, my skin got so much better! (Note I did this in combination with other changes in my skincare routine). However, even if I use now, it definitely dehydrates my skin. I started getting a lot of under the skin bumps. A problem I have had for years now but in the last two weeks it was getting really bad. Small bumps all along my jawline, chin and cheeks. I researched several products and decided to try this one out. It has been less than a week of me using this and my skin has greatly improved! The small bumps on my jawline and chin have disappeared and the ones on my cheeks are almost all completely gone! My face looks so much smoother now. This works very well. This is one of the only products I could find specifically mentioning cystic acne treatment. It is extremely gentle and will not irritate at all. It’s super effective at penetrating the surface and getting down into those cystic acne pimples. Use it with the drying lotion and drying creams depending on your pimple (if it’s under the skin use the drying cream if it’s surfaced or come to a head use the drying lotion), glycolic acid toner and you will get all that bacteria out and prevent it from coming back. I discovered this line of products because my ex boyfriend suffered from severe cystic acne so bad his entire back was constantly scarring with giant sores and cyst-like painful pimples. With daily use of this, the other products I mentioned and then moisturizing with food grade coconut oil his back cleared for the first time in his entire life. I highly recommend. They’re very inexpensive for a skincare line too.kelley.m
