It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation. Normally I shave my legs but decided to give this a shot. I wanted to see if this really worked. I tried it on one arm and one leg, while I shaved the other arm and leg. On my arm, it worked really well. It took all the hair off and didn't leave any patches behind. Now on my leg, it didn't work as well. I had it on for about 8 minutes when I wiped it off and at first it felt like it took everything off but after a quick shower, I could feel it left a lot behind. I had to go back with a razer to get the stuff that was missed. I waited a few days and tried again and had the same results. It mostly took off the hair but there was still parts left. My hair isn't thick or anything and the second time I waited the full 10 minutes. Maybe it's just my luck but for my arms it worked. I do want to point out, that this stuff does not smell. The lavender scent is not strong, which I like. Overall, this stuff isn't bad but isn't great. If you have had luck with this before, than yeah this is a something that you need to get.JAZS
I am going to review this product because I didn’t find a review that I was looking for and I’m going to be very honest and straightforward. I used it as shaving cream when I first bought it because I’m stupid and didn’t realize what it was. This morning while I was showering, I read it and realize that it didn’t have the word shave on it… Odd. So I read it and realized what it was and decided on a whim that I would try it out. Just for reference, I haven’t shaved in about a week because I was on my period, and I figured that it wouldn’t remove everything completely but I decided to use it anyway. I put it on and made the mistake of spreading it a little too low… Keep it on your bikini area, it reallyyyy stings if you don’t. To my surprise I actually removed probably about 90% of my hair and I was extremely surprised, I didn’t smell the bad smell anybody else was, it was fine to me before during and after, nice even. And for the hair it does miss, it’s not very hard to remove it all, it just takes some time. I used a washcloth to do this, I have really nice towels. Each washrag I own is about $30 alone (just to show you that they are nice), and even with that it was still very rough on my skin and I do not recommend a washcloth. If I continue to use this product I might go out of my way to buy a specific group of cloths that are softer on the skin and more gentle to use more frequently. I would recommend exfoliating in a hot shower with a body scrub before using the epilator so your pores are open. Think of it as TWEEZING your leg hairs one by one, because it's the same as tweezing your eyebrow hairs, one by one, just much faster. And still painful. And of course there was a bit of pain as this was my first time using an epilator and you have to learn how tight to pull your skin on your legs. I have never used a hair removal product and I needed to remove my chest hair (and I am a bit hairy). I tried this one after a minimal amount of research. I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982
Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It did a great job in that area too! Normally I end up having a rash because of the friction of my butt cheeks lol. After debating for a while I decided that I would try hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have used some in the past and have always been out off by the smell. This one didn’t have the usual smell, in fact it was quite pleasant. I did the patch test and with no adverse affects I decided that it was time to do it. Due to lockdown I had large amount of hair on my legs and knew that shaving this would be a long task but using the hair removal cream made it nice and easy. It’s simple to apply, I left it for the full length of time and was impressed with the results. Unlike with shaving I had no red bumps on my legs. I did find that my legs didn’t feel as smooth as they would be with shaving but I put this down to it being the first time in a couple of months where hair was removed. There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.Bethw97
I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. I only used cream before, maybe 15 years ago and it was horrible! First, the smell was horrendous, then was the itch and burn, the skin was irritated and all the experience wasn't a pleasure. Nowadays however, the ingredients changed, leaving you with the best possible experience! Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. Secondly, I don't think it actually worked that well. It didn't remove hair as effectively as the other types Veet sell. It was sensitive, but should sensitive mean less effective?Mrs JK

I’ve been using Nair off and on for yeeeaaars. What can I say- it works. It stinks to high heaven, but it removes hair in about 10minutes and is mostly hassle-free. It leaves some kind of a weird residue when you try to wash off in the shower; but I learned many years ago that you can wash it off your body with shampoo first, and then continue with your regular products and your skin will be left smooth and hairless. I had an ex try to use it on his junk once – bad idea ğŸ¤ğŸ˜… His skin was very sensitive and did not tolerate the formula. I don’t have issues with sensitive skin on my body, so I never experienced that- but felt it important to mention that even though it says “sensitive skinâ€� on the package, it’s not great to use on sensitive skin. I got this product specifically for hair removal on my arms. I have thin blonde-ish hair on my arms, but a lot of it. When its completely grown out, it is very noticeable. I had been waxing but the appointments were further apart than I would have preferred and also costly. I decided to try this on recommendation from a friend. It works fairly well on my arm hair, I can go about two to three weeks in between uses, but it doesnt get *every* single hair and maybe thats an unfair expectation to have of it. However I did decide to try it out on my legs and stomach. My leg hairs are much thicker and coarser, as well as darker. I left it on for about 10 minutes and there was hardly any difference, I still had to shave after. I would give a 2/5 rating for this product on my legs. As for my stomach hair, its similar to my arm hair (I wear a lot of crop tops and in the sun the light catches the hair and I'd just rather not have any) but the results weren't as good. 3/5 for my stomach. I do like that the hair doesn't grow back pokey and I feel the hair growth has been slowed. I had *some* skin irritation but nothing some lotion couldn't remedy. I also like that I can use this product much more often than I could if I was going to get the hair removed with wax. Overall, I give it 4/5. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. This is one of the biggest failures I purchased. After checking so many reviews, I decided to buy this epilator, not from Amazon, but from a different website. BUT I had to come here and share my thoughts. I’ve been epilating my body for 15 years, so I guess I’m “educated” enough to share my experience.
1. The 3 speeds are USELESS. It doesn’t pull out from the root, it SHAVES!! That defeats the purpose of an epilator.
2. The large head does nothing. I go over the same area again and again and my hair is still there!
3. Doesn’t catch the small hair – just the longer one (again, useless!)
4. The adjustable head hurts your skin – it “catches” your skin from time to time while using it. It HURTS and leaves MARKS on your skin.
5. The battery life is too short. If you’re really “hairy”, one charge won’t do it.
6. I’ve never had ingrown hair from my previous epilators, well I have them now from this one.

Tried this product because all the stores around where I live don't seem to carry the product that I normally use and prefer to use, so I was desperate. Let me start by saying that the price to product quantity was an immediate disappointment for me as my normal product is 13oz product for about the same cost. Skip forward to my experience using this product. As always I read the directions and followed them accordingly. I applied a thick even layer and waited the recommended 5mins then did a small check… nothing. Waited another 5mins as recommended than did another small check… eh some slight removal but needed more time. The product says to NOT exceed 10mins, but I waited a total of 17mins before using a damp warm cloth to fully remove product in the shower. After I got the product off in the shower I didn't have to check the results… I could feel the results and to my complete disappointment there was still hair and a lot of stubble (that felt like I hadn't shaved or tried to remove any hair for a solid 3 days!) left! I ended having to go over the entire area with a razor (which I hate doing!) just to get a semi-smooth to touch feel like I was wanting and expecting! I always use an after any shaving or hair removal to prevent razor burn or the dreaded ingrown hair issue (and it works!) Overall just ok. Awful smell, best described as "old". Took 2 10-minute (full length of time) sessions for the leg I tried out. See pics for my leg after the first 10-minute session. Pretty much all the hair was gone after the 2nd session. You definitely need to use a lot of product, really lay it on thick for it to work. I noticed that it seems to weaken the base of the hair so it breaks off easier, it doesn't get the root of the hairs, so the next day I was still just as prickly as if I shaved. But no burns, bumps, etc. so there is that benefit as opposed to shaving. Had a cool tingle for the first session I did, similar to Menthol, but didn't hurt by any means. I would use this for areas that I didn't want being bumpy or burned by a razor, such as sensitive areas or areas that get shaven back-to-back, but otherwise takes a bit of time to work and is more work for me that shaving normally.jenna.l
I took a chance on this product after reading the reviews and unfortunately, I have to side with the negative ones.
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell: very unpleasant. I purchased the green tea scented bikini cream and the closest thing I can think to compare the scent to would be unwashed feet.
I applied the product in a small test area and waited the recommended 6 minutes. Nothing happened. Every hair remained intact. I wasn't willing to leave it on any longer, as I have sensitive skin, so I hopped in the shower to wash it off.
I did expect some mild irritation when I used the product, and some light inflammation did occur. However, this was pretty disappointing to experience considering the product did not work.
Overall, I’m giving this product a solid one-star review, as it didn’t serve it’s intended purpose and had unpleasant qualities (ie. the smell and inflammation).Ariana Winchester

I am a big fan of hair removal creams and have used Nair to great effect for some time. Unfortunately I decided to try this product as it caught my eye and lured me with its fancy packaging and appealing price. I read the directions and proceeded to apply the product as instructed, waited the desired amount of time, which was halfway between the minimum and maximum limits, and used the cute little spatula to scrape off the cream. What came off was not my hair, but rather my beliefs that anything could be less effective than a dull razor, which I had to use because my legs were still covered in a layer of mangled hair and disappointment. Not only did this product fail to remove my hair, but it took almost the whole bottle to even cover my legs with one layer. This product was the biggest waste of my time, effort and money that I have ever encountered, but it all might just be worth it to write this review and warn the thousands, perhaps even millions of unsuspecting consumers that may be inclined to make the same mistake that I did when I decided to buy this terrible product.

I've been using this product for about a year. Before I would use Sally Hansen. It works. It does miss a few spots especially in the upper lip. I do find that the hair growths a little faster compared to Sally Hansen especially in the beginning, however, if you keep using it once a week for a year, the hair growth does slow down. It does not smell as strong as other hair removal creams. There is less time required for the hair removal. The tube is really easy to get the cream out of. I like the moisturizer it comes with. It does not burn my sensitive skin especially if you leave it on an extra 2 minutes compared to Sally Hansen where my face would be super red and inflammed. Make sure to moisturize often, Glee does dry you out a little more. Negatives: The plastic hair removal tool SUCKS! I used it twice could never get it to quite work. Just use a damp cloth, it is much faster and works so much better. You will see actual results with a damp cloth versus the plastic crap. For the price, the tubes are a bit small. You can probably get about 3-4 uses, so it's not the most budget friendly. Mentioned it above, it tends to miss certain areas especially areas you really want to get rid of (for me always the upper lip) and the hair does growth back faster than others so I'd suggest trying it out for a month and seeing how it works for you, but I still recommend.migonz1990
ok so I've only tried this once. Used it on legs and bikini area. Left on the minimum time, as instructed. Hopped in shower. And nothing. Nothing came off!. And the little scraper? Very rough edges-felt as though it was scratching my legs. So i wasnt actually able to use it, but i did use a wash cloth. I will try once more and leave on max time-will update if there are changes. *I really like the thickness of this product. Love that there isn't a harsh smell. So im really hoping 2nd try is a charm* But for now, I'll be using the nair shower since i know it works. Cant risk trying this again and it not working! Thy legs are hairyyyy.Mj

What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. Given these factors I don't think I will bother with it again and will stick to shaving until the salons are open. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation. I've always been a shaver but I had gotten tired of the razor bumps, prickly little hairs that hurt when they start to grow back, and the dark spots that are left from the razor bumps.
