20 Best Products For Redness And Uneven Skin Tone (Feb 2023 Update)

I was very reluctant to purchase this produce given the high price, but I’m so glad I did! I’ve never called a product a “holy grail” before, but I think this warrants it. I have very dry, sensitive skin with eczema. I also suspect I have rosacea because I have redness of my cheeks with acne over it and it gets worse when I touch it, drink alcohol, etc. (although not yet diagnosed). I used this product the first evening I bought it over The Ordinary’s hyaluronic acid serum (which is a staple product for me) and when I woke up the next morning, my skin was DRASTICALLY less red and the acne on my cheeks was mostly cleared up. I’ve never used a product with such immediate results before. I’ve been using the product for a couple of weeks now twice per day and my redness, although not completely gone, is sooo much better than before and my skin is acne free and very moisturized. I LOVE this product. The only downsides are that it sometimes pills on my skin, and although I haven’t yet tried wearing it under makeup, I suspect that it would not look good under foundation. It also leaves my skin looking a bit oily/shinny on my forehead and nose (where I am a little oily naturally), but I’ll take that over red, dry, and acne filled any day. That being said, my skin looks so great, that I don’t feel like I need to wear makeup, other than Smashbox’s color correcting primer (the green one) that takes care of any residual redness on my cheeks and eczema break outs (or whatever is left of them after using this cream). I’ve used other redness reducing products from Leneige (Cica sleeping mask) and La Roshe-Posey (rosalaic serum) that did nothing for my redness. I’m very happy with this product and surprised because I’m not really a big fan of Clinique, but I may need to try some of their other redness reducing products after trying this one. It doesn't absorb, it just sits like paste. It doesn't dab, you must wipe your fingers across the area you're covering. But it leaves these little crumbs of green clay-like particles. I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.

I layer a lot of products, although I mist between layers to help it soak in. Im my case I need all that moisture, and for my dry middle aged skin this has been great. Reading the reviews though I wont be trying it on my boyfriend who has rosacea… Eek!Tara Klang

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. The serum feels hydrating, non-sticky, and has very light creamy/gel texture. The serum absorbs into the skin nicely and helps reduce some of my dark spots and provides a nice glow. I thought I was going to love this product based on its reviews, but I have multiple issues with it. First of all (and this could possibly be my application, which would have been better if this product had a pump and wasn’t just in a jar!) but it was very thick and unnatural looking and didn’t even cover up all of my redness. I’ve had better results covering up my redness with regular foundations and even the glossier skin tint. Second, it made my imperfections even more pronounced. Hello, ginormous pores! Third, the container itself is very small and it’s literally just a jar. It should at the very least have a pump for easier and cleaner application, because the way it is right now makes it messy and annoying. Lastly, I bought this product because it was uniquely advertised as a natural not-foundation that’s even somewhat of a skincare product with its benefits for redness. However, this product turned out to be a cakey unnatural foundation that does not really cover up redness. Many people still seem to like it which boggles my mind. Years ago when I was working for Ulta, a very nice IT Cosmetics rep came in for the afternoon to share brand and product education. This was one of the products she shared her knowledge about. She also left me with a very nice variety of products to try first hand, and this little magic pot was part of the gratis. Now, I don't have rosacea or particularly red skin, but what I do have is sun damage and discoloration from a life-long love affair with the sun (start wearing spf early guys and gals!) This stuff REALLY helps cover and color correct and plays well with other products. I'll never be with out it. I don't work for Ulta anymore (there's none close by), but I sold a ton of IT Cosmetics when I did, because they really are great products that work well for many. My only complaint is shade inclusivity. Expand your shade ranges, IT Cosmetics, so that everyone may experience your products!Jculli

So disappointed with this product. I suffer with perioral dermatitis, and was excited when I found this product as it claims to correct redness on the skin. First, this is a very expensive product, and the jar is minuscule. They claim that you only need a tiny amount to cover redness, however I found myself having to apply multiple layers to cover redness and even still, it wasn’t completely gone. I also found it was pretty drying, and due to having applied multiple layers to try and conceal the redness, my skin appeared cakey. Lastly, the colour is way off. I purchased “transforming porcelain beige” however there’s nothing porcelain about it. Super orange.gabbyduu

Bought this for my acne hyperpigmentation after seeing all the great reviews. I have hormonal acne which usually means that I break out on a monthly based around that time of the month. However, I got prescribed medication for this earlier this year and I barely every break out anymore. So I introduced this serum into my skincare now that it's clearer to start working on those marks. I first tried this for about 3 weeks and was breaking out constantly so I gave it a break and thought maybe it's another serum I started around the same time. So I waited a month to try this again and I put some twice in a row at night only and woke up with crazy acne. I literally take medication that internally controls my acne so I knew what I had used externally was the problem. Not sure what it is with the serum but it was the culprit of my random breakouts. I wish it had worked for me but I couldn't try it long enough, I don't have the time to deal with bumps right now and don't really want new scarring either.Nicolep

This is an update to my review in August. My first bottle was purchased in June of 2021. I had EXTREMELY bad hyperpigmentation. When I used the combo of the Niacinamide toner and this serum, in 6-8 weeks, my skin was completely cleared up. After the serum was gone, I used the toner a few times a week, because it was all I needed with my clear skin. I’m a picker when I’m under stress, so I purchased another set last month and I knew after a few weeks, something was definitely different. The results weren’t the same. I know this formula has changed. I’m sure you don’t care, but this was the first serum that I found that worked for African American dark skin. Reading some of the reviews, I’m quite sure that you don’t listen to your customers, as I see plenty have stated that they’ve experienced minimal results and you haven’t changed it back to the original formula. Although the claim by the company is that you’ve improved the formula, you didn’t. Sometimes, stronger isn’t better, especially when there’s a breakdown in the quality of this new formulation. This has been one of the best serums I have ever used on my skin!! I have a history of horrific acne, and as it’s been clearing up, this has been a game changer for my routine. With consistent use, I see results within weeks, and this is coming from someone who has tried EVERYTHING. I dermarolled, got frequency facials, changed my diet, took tons of supplements, natural facials, all kinds of chemical facials, and have used countless products for treating my acne and the hyperpigmentation scars left behind, and nothing has worked as well as this has for me. If you’re hesitant, just give it a try (and give it time to work)! Acne is so frustrating already, and even worse what it leaves behind, so be patient, show your skin some TLC, cut down on the number of products you use and just focus on the basics. I saw the biggest changes in my skin when I did this. My best routine is using a cleansing face wash like Vanicream (with no actives like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide), a simple hydrating serum like Hyaluronic acid or moisturizer (no actives) and adding the serum on top or a product with actives to target the problems. I'm a POC who gets hyperpigmentation almost anytime I have a significant breakout. I haven't seen results from niacinamide in the past, but I'd tried and liked a few FAB products, so I gave this a try when it popped up as an option for my Ipsy bag. Some spots that would normally take months to fade have noticeably diminished in just a few weeks of use twice daily (and I'm not someone who does a great job of remembering every time, either). I did break out a little when I first started using it (common with niacinamide from what I've heard). The pigmentation from that outbreak is much less than I usually get. I purchased this because I had some dark acne scars and I was hoping that it would help to heal my post breakout skin. It has worked wonders! It has been almost a month and I’ve seen a significant improvement. I love that it is really healing and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Been using this for about 1 month now, and I can say it has improved my hyper pigmentation and some sun spots, but just barely. I've seen some improvement, but nothing major. Niacinamide and Licorice Root are the two star ingredients here, and I think with continued use, you might see some results. My beef with this product is mostly with the packaging and the amount of product. The dropper just isn't great. When you first start using it, there's enough product in there for the dropper, but once you use more of it, it becomes harder to suction the product. The next thing is the lid. Everytime you place the dropper back, product is caught in the small opening and gets oozzed on the side. It goes to waste when there's already little of this product to being with. I've been scooping the dropper before I place it back, but sometimes I wonder if I'm contaminating the dropper. Overall, decent formulation, horrible packaging. Before using this I read dozens of reviews of this product, mostly positive, and many of them with tips on how to use this treatment properly to get the most out of it. I felt I was ready to use it, and was excited by the positive reviews. Before using this product, my skin was balanced, breakout free, but of course, red at times throughout the day (mostly in the morning). After a couple uses, I noticed my skin was looking dull- and I could feel a difference when I washed my face. Prior to use, my skin was relatively unclogged (except occasionally during my period). But now I could feel bumps and noticed that there were large clogged pores around my chin, neck, forehead, and cheeks. They were huge- it was something I'd never experienced before. The product felt heavy and sticky. My skin became very oily and the only way to describe how it looked to me, was that it looked sick. It also felt overly difficult to remove. The color looked artificial and mannequin-like, Many of the reviews recommended various tricks for makeup application over it, but I honestly never even got that far, so I can't say what it would have been like with makeup. From strictly a skincare perspective, after using this for several days without any makeup, my skin went into flux, became unbalanced, and I developed large clogged pores. After I stopped using this product, it took almost 2 weeks to reverse the damage my skin sustained from using it. My skin is rather sensitive and oily. I also have mild rosacea, which is officially diagnosed. A couple of years ago I managed to get it under control with the help of azelaic acid products and being very careful with what I apply on my face. Now I can afford some active components such as acids and retinol, but I prefer them as the night routine. For the day I would like to have something very simple but soothing, so that I don’t get scared when I accidentally see myself in the mirror. I work from home and don’t wear makeup usually. I also know, that centella asiatica is good for rosacea prone skin and products with this component have been recommended to me by a dermatologist. So, with all this in mind, I just had to try this cream. And I both love and hate it. I have been using this cream for about a month and I came to the conclusion that it is a purely treatment product. As treatment for my sensitive skin, it didn’t disappoint me. It really helps to tame the redness, and with time the condition of the skin becomes better, the redness gradually disappears and the skin becomes more soothed. I also like the coverage effect, which stays on my skin for about 4-5 hours. After that the color starts to migrate all over my face and I can sometimes see stripes of pigment on my forehead. But it is tolerable. I don’t think that it does anything good apart from that. I absolutely hate what it does to my pores, they are all visible and clogged. The description says that it is a good make up base. No, it’s not. Its structure is too thick and it is impossible to blend any foundation on top of it. And after a few hours the foundation starts migrating all over the face together with the cream pigment. The cream is not easy to apply, it spreads in a very difficult way, I wish it was a bit more watery. Apart from all this, I recently bought a full sized product after finishing off my sample. And I think I will keep using it for a long time until I accidentally find something better. It is extremely difficult for people with such skin condition as mine to find something that really treats the skin without being totally unbearable to use or costing a godzillion pounds. This cream for me is treatment and it helps me cover my faults for the time while I still care, and it’s not that expensive. Maybe I will eventually get used to all its faults. For reference, I am in my mid 40s, have normal to combo skin on summer and normal to dry in winter and have wrinkles, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation and texture of all sorts. I don’t have redness but my husband does and this products works wonders to tone it down. And it works for me as well. I really like it! PROS – Color correcting properties: I don’t have redness but my husband does and this product really tones it down. – It has a green undertone but turns beige upon application, for a better match with the skin (I don’t think that it will work on all skin tones though…) – Good ingredients: it offers skincare ingredients that help with sensitivity. – Good SPF properties: it has good protection level if applied liberally. – It leaves a beautiful glow on the skin not feeling greasy. – It works perfectly on top of my skincare and under my foundations. – Mineral sunscreen: I prefer it over the chemical options because I can apply it over my lids without irritating my eyes. CONS – It is a little pricey but you also get quite a good amount of product. – It takes some time for the product to get absorbed and set, so you have to be patient massaging it. – It will probably look quite ghostly on darker skin tones. The below combination has massively helped my redness, sensitivity and dehydration. I started noticing a difference after a couple of days. Morning and night: 1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser (remove with cool water) 2. Bioderma Sensibio AR Cream (spread between palms and press gently on to skin) 3. Eucerin Anti-Redness Soothing Care Cream (spread between palms and press gently on to skin, after the Bioderma AR cream) 4. Suncream in morning only The Eucerin cream has quite a thick texture, but is not heavy. Probably ok on its own straight after cleansing if your skin is not very dehydrated. For me, layering over the Bioderma Sensibio AR added the perfect amount of extra hydration.mmsoup

I bought this last week online here. Box arrived sealed, "please see instructions inside" but no leaflet. Nozzle under cap seemed sealed and on the brand site it seems to indicate you have to remove some seal. Eventually got a response from brand site to say you just pump a few times and product appears. Well been pumping for 5 mins at a time and still no product. Tried Superdrug chat help, took 6 hours to get a response of "sorry can we have your email" and nothing since then. £15 later no product, no help.sazzybeans

I had to write a review of this because it is so good. Just over a year ago I used a mask (checked the ingredients, but must have missed something) that caused a nasty reaction, and ever since I have had redness/ rosacea. It has been quite frustrating. None of my usual gentle products have helped, and my skin has been very sensitive. I bought this cream by chance, thinking that it might be worth a go. I have been using it for less than a week, and my redness and irritation have almost completely gone. It made a difference at first use, but it has taken about five days to be completely effective. It's very nice to use. Light, easily absorbed, un-fragranced, effective as a moisturiser. I'm so pleased that I found it. I don't usually write gushing skincare reviews, but this stuff is just amazing, and if you have any redness or irritation I highly recommend it. I ABSOLUTELY loved this cooling, calming cream! I keep it in my cosmetics fridge to cool , so that it works doubly to soothe and calm skin. I have Combo skin that is very sensitive and fair and tends toward ruddiness. I use this at night with The Ordinary's Niacinamide and Hylauronic Acid for an overnight cocktail to sooth skin and wake up to even, soothed skin. I also avoid overly hot or very warm water on my face. You can also use it as a makeup primer to even out your skintone, although not sure if it helps makeup stay on all day. Unless you have dry skin, probably not. Anyway, I would give this five out of five stars for doing what it says it does and not breaking out or upsetting my skin. A winner!Georgine

Overall, I really like this product and do think it helps my redness. I had been using azelaic acid for about a year and then added phytocorrective gel in the AM and redness neutralizer in the PM. It has helped tone down the rest of the redness and sensitivity I had remaining. I did find that the redness neutralizer does not layer well with other products. So I did have some trial and error to find things it plays well with. I also found it difficult to pump the product out of the container. It is quite thick and when the bottle had only 1/2-1/4 left it was nearly impossible to get out. I did repurchase the product but do hope that the packaging changes in the future. Bought this on a whim. Have used for several weeks, and I've noticed a difference in the redness of my décolleté and face. I use this with SkinCeuticals vitamin ce & ferulic. I have sensitive skin that turns red if I even think about going in the sun, or scratching an itch on my neck. I've been applying after my serum and before my moisturizer and sunscreen. I use this on way more than my face. Any healing cut or burn I have gets this. Any aggravated skin gets this. It's a wonderful healer! If my face gets winter burned (I'm in the upper midwest), this goes over my vitamin c serum. I add it to my body lotion when I have a particularly dry patch I want to treat. It really is effective. One of my favourites!! Super calming and soothing gel. Amazing after post treatments like microneedling, peels, fraxel etc. Safe to use for sensitive and all skin types as well as pregnant woman. I use this every morning and night and it really helps calm and hydrate my skin. I also noticed my hyperpigmentation had reduced with being consistent with this product as the mulberry helps minimize the appearance of discolouration. I started developing some redness on my face post menopause. I went to this product. The plus, a little goes a long way. Literally two drops covers the whole face. The minus. It really doesn't get rid of the red. I left some drops sitting in my hand yesterday for about a minute while I was doing something else. When I looked at my hand, it was stained green. I realized what works with this product is that green cancels out red. So it works to a certain extent but I don't believe it is corrective on a permanent basis.lss

Wearing a face mask, stress and also having to stay indoors a lot more over the last year had caused a rosacea flare up. I have sensitive / dry skin so I have to be really careful which products I use. Someone recommended I try Ren ~ I bought the Evercam balm to start which immediately calmed and hydrated my skin so I then moved onto the Evercalm serum! Wow I’m so impressed with both products and will continue to use them even though they have already calmed the rosacea. So I have a tendency to use all kinds of different things and not let my skin get used to anything. I have a beauty box subscription and I just like trying new stuff. I got sick of my face getting red at the drop of a hat (I have a touch of rosacea and then things like temperature, alcohol consumption, and stress would make me go beet red) so the lovely associate at Sephora recommended I use either this or Dr. Jart daily. I liked the texture and smell of this serum better than Dr. Jart so I committed to using it every day, twice a day. One pump is sufficient for covering my whole face perfectly, and the smell is lovely. (While it's a 'natural' fragrance, it's still an added fragrance, so my bff can't use it, which makes me sad.) I now use it twice a day religiously and it took 4-6 weeks but now I really don't get red at all any more, in any circumstance. I have the sniffles right now and my nose isn't even red from blowing it so much. I need less redness coverage with makeup and I don't notice a ton of temperature changes either. Disclosure, I do have pretty sensitive skin! I have been a fan of REN for 3 years now and I love their products. They are actually the only brand that has worked for my sister and I. I can use most of their products without irritation. Sadly that wasn't the case with this serum. I haven't had an issue with anything in the Evercalm Line until this product. When I first started using this product, it was fine. Then after about a week of use I would wake up in the morning with my face red. I thought maybe my rosacea was flaring up but once I stopped using this product, the redness went away completely. I gave it to my sister to try but the exact same thing happened to her, after a week her face would get red, except she got red instantly upon application. I think we do have pretty sensitive skin but with that said I can use many different REN products outside of the Evercalm line and I am totally fine. The anti-redness didn't live up to the name for my sister and I unfortunately. That being said REN products are still amazing, we love REN and have bought more products to try and restock!!Kirra M.

I have been using the product for about three weeks and have noticed visibly brighter and more radiant skin. I loved using this treatment as a mini at-home facial, two or three times per week. Immediately after the treatment, my skin had a more even appearance. I also loved how easy the mask was to apply, as well as rinse off, without leaving any goopy residue. Immediately after application, I experienced a slight tingling sensation that lasted about 15 seconds. It was not bothersome, and to me felt like the treatment was really working. I am giving the product 4 stars as I personally did not love the smell of the product — it reminded me of the scent of the kids toothpaste they use at the dentist office. Taking care of your skin and using quality ingredients is really important to me. Finding products that are not cheap or overcented can be quite a task, especially in regards to facial masks. I've tried a ton of masks and there are a lot of things I don't like. I hate a sticky mess that gets all over the place when I'm trying to use these treatments. That is not the case with bareMinerals AGELESS Phyto-AHA Radiance Facial. First off I love the packaging, this looks like a another great product from bareMinerals. It's really easy to dispense the product from the tube and I love the texture. There is no fragrance added to this product which is monumental. This masked can be easily applied, I love that there isn't a sticky goopy mess in my bathroom! I love this stuff so much I've worked it into my weekly skincare routine. I really have noticed my skin does look more hydrated and the texture and elasticity has improved. Loving my luscious new skin texture! Bare Minerals Ageless Phyto-AHA Radiance Facial I received this for free in exchange for my honest review. First of all, I use and enjoy bareMinerals. I never thought to try their Facial products. This is a vegan anti-aging Facial peel, exfoliator and mask in one tube. It is jelly like, non-sticky feeling and clean smelling. I apply it using my silicone spatula. I enjoying the cooling effect on my face, it does get a tad sticky while waiting the 15-20 minutes after applying. I felt no stinging or burning and had no skin irritations. It easily rinses off with warm water. So far, I've only used it three times. I have noticed that my face feels softer and smoother. I'm not really seeing the reduction of discoloration or dark spots on my face.. but I'm going to continue using this product. It is easy to use, it is for all ages and skin types. I am 56 with uneven skin tone and some wrinkles.. Last year was tough, my skin was rey showing signs of it. This Facial just makes me and my face feel and look good. I'd definitely recommend this. Amazing product, I have been looking for a palette like this. A multi purpose colour corrector for all my skin concerns, I use the peach and pink toned correctors to cover my dark under eye circles and the other colours to correct dark pigmentation and neutralise redness around my nose and on my cheeks. The palette comes with a guide and explains what colours on the palette to use for different skin concerns. A little product goes a long way. All of the colours are creamy and highly pigmented yet look very light and natural on the skin. Highly recommended!Kate1221

It's worth the hype and worth the $50. I was unsure about this product because it seems a lot of money for some concealer. I've used color concealers by other prestigious brands before but I wasn't impressed with it. Well, this is worth it. It takes a little practice and a little playing around. It doesn't matter what your issue is: dark circle, sun spots, redness, they cover it all. The formula is very creamy so a little goes a long way. You can and should mix the colors for a more custom look. I wish I bought it earlier.Josleen

I have always had dark circles under my eyes (thank you, anemia). This is the first product I've tried that has actually helped their appearance! I use the peach cream under my eyes before my foundation and concealer, and it really brightens up the area. It's worth it for just that shade! I also use the green cream and lavender powder on a regular basis and have found them to also be very effective. I hate to give this a 1 star because it actually works. It doesn’t break my skin out or burn, and it actually evened out my skin tone and made it smoother. Why the negative review then? I can not in all good conscience recommended this to anyone I know or a stranger because the price per portion is absolutely insane. $24 for 0.5oz?!! That’s ridiculous, and the larger one is even a higher mark up. The Ordinary makes an equally great one for 1.0oz and it’s like $16. Change the price or make it bigger. I read reviews before purchasing this product and read that it smelled awful, but I thought it couldn’t possibly be that bad. No, it’s terrible. So bad that the first time applying it I nearly threw up about 3 times with it sitting on my face. HOWEVER, the applications after the first weren’t bad at all and I was used to it. I promise after the first run it’s not bad and it’s completely worth your time. This product makes my skin glow for real. I’ve only experienced a very small purge that was literally nothing compared to how my face reacts to other skincare products typically. I could see a difference after a few days of application twice a day and my skin is already looking so smooth and more even toned. First the packaging is very cathy because of the light blue boxing and labels. This is a different type of drops bottle that I've seen before. Very wide enough for more product. And made of glass. Directions were well easy to understand as well as the ingredients etc. The dropper is made of glass as well and holds a lot of product when using. I apply this serum twice a week in my morning and night skincare routine after cleaningand toner. The scent is very very much citrus and just like squeezed oranges. The texture is runny so be careful! But thickens up a bit when rubbed in. Glides on pretty well and not too oily. I would recommend using sparsely you don't want to be super moisturized. You can definitely notice right away the moisture from this serum. My skin feels very hydrated, soft and breathable. No hars scents, over drying, oiliness nor breakouts. I have hopes to notice my dark spots disappearing soon but we shall see in due time. Overall, I believe this serum can be a game changer for me. It works for my sensitive, oily, dark spots and aging skin. And it isn't irritating.ashiah.w

Avene products are wonderful. I am nearly 70 and have very damaged skin from decades in the sun and from smoking. The Retrinal cream has made a difference! The only thing a really dislike about Avene products is their containers. There is no way to see how much is in the pump jar and when it finally quits pumping product there is no way to get in there and get every last drop. Additionally, these containers are NOT recyclable. For this reason along, I am considering finding another Retinal product on the market.Mary Z.

I started using Retrinal 0.05% two months ago. I was cautious in the beginning and started really slowly- 5 days between applications, then 4, 3 , every other day fora couple of weeks and finally for a week now I've been applying it every night (buffering with a snail essence). I'm not sure if it was about time now or if every night was what it took, but I am starting to see true results. I am 42 and my main concerns are fine lines , enlarged pores and fermity. My pores practicaly dissapeared, it's unbelievable – this is the most obvious result thus far.Fine lines seem to be doing better, too, and my jaw line seems firmer – I am optimistic and will keep using this (although I plan to upgrade to the 0.1% as I seem to tolerate it well). This is very easy to use as it is a pump and distributes the right amount. I just started using it and when my much younger sister-in-law came to visit when I opened the door she exclaimed oh my! what are you doing to your face? You just keep getting younger looking! I’m 72 and really haven’t tried anything like this before. I’ve been using primarily Estée Lauder and Lancôme for years and they have served me well. I have extremely sensitive skin prone to redness. And on top of that it’s nearly impossible to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. This product cancels out the redness and eliminates the need for foundation. I just use some Hourglass Ambient powder over it for a bit of shimmer. This photo is in natural light and to me is undetectable! Just looks like healthy skin which is my goal. I bought this direct from Colorscience initially but I’m happy to see Nordstrom has it for future. Best advice is less is more with this. I use on moisturized skin, after Tula Brighten Up Primer. Pump a tiny amount on the back of one hand and then dab onto face with finger and buff in with damp Beauty Blender sponge. Hope you love as much as I do!aj_mpls

My dermatologist recommended this as she is a rosacea sufferer as well. What an incredible product for calming the redness associated with rosacea. Easy to apply and it does not wear off. The high SPF is an added bonus. I have been using it for a few weeks and I will never be without it. I would prefer a different delivery for the product. I’ve had rosacea since my 30’s~not many products I haven’t tried but this one does hide the redness. Doesn’t calm the rosacea if that’s what you’re looking for and it does not wear well with foundation. I’ve tried several different foundations and it separates after a couple of hours of wearing~strange actually. I have mature skin and it dries my skin out. I don’t like any product with 50 sunscreen for whatever reason they absorb the moisture~doesn’t exactly dry your skin. Hope this was helpful. I use a lot of colorscience products. I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FREE FROM TOWER 28 BEAUTY. I will say, I was super excited to have received a full-size bottle to sample because I was hemming and hawing about whether to purchase or not. It came in time for the Sephora-sponsored Tower 28 Beauty digital event on May 24, so I was able to learn more. I used an entire bottle now (used it up in a month), and I really tried to give this a fair chance as I am a fan of Tower 28 Beauty and will never go without the S.O.S Daily Facial Spray. This serum, however similar it is to the S.O.S Daily Facial Spray, actually brought out the flaws in my skin that the daily S.O.S worked hard in calming down! I had more breakouts and more texture issues than I ever had since I started my routine incorporating the S.O.S Daily Facial Spray (took over a year to find the right morning and evening routine that helps my skin). I changed nothing in my routine nor changed any of the products I've used and yet with this serum, not only did my face breakout more, but also, my Tower 28 Sunny Days pilled. I rated this 2/5 stars for effort — I do like the texture of the serum and, of course, hypochlorous acid. I do recommend this product even though it didn't work for me, just because of the brand and it being having the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.chingona

I love Tower 28 so I really wanted to love this product but this just didn’t work for my skin. I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin. When I first applied the product, I was surprised that it was so watery. It felt nice on my skin but as I used it throughout the 7 days, I found that each day, it made skin more and more irritated. My skin felt tight and very itchy. The chlorine smell was also off putting, but I appreciate that this product did not contain strong added scents to it. I continued to use the product despite the irritation but found no major improvement in my skin after the 7 days. I was gifted by Tower 28 Beauty for my honest opinions. This serum is definitely not like any others… for all the iffy reasons. I was so excited to try out this serum that would heal and protect my skin and I couldn’t get past the scent of this serum. I was able to use this up for a week until I said “no more”. This scent is so unique for the wrong reason. Once poured into hand a heavy scent of rain jungle water just goes right up your nose and the second you apply this serum it smells like a pool that’s been left out in the winter and spring. It’s not the best scent. With very little ingredients I can tell most ingredients are water based and I don’t know if I got a bad one or what but I cannot stand the smell. Second, the spritz on this bottle has got to be one of the worst things in the world. It sprays out like a water gun and it gets everywhere so I suggest not applying it straight to the face. This application bottle is not the best of something like and would have liked to see a pump as the consistency is a watery-gel. It applies just like water and absorbs like water AND SMELLS like rain water. I will have to check out of this product and give it to someone who will enjoy it more than I did.Pahua

I love a similar product from the anti-redness range of a famous French brand, also 'cliniqually' tested, but always feel rather guilty spending so much as replacement time, so stumbled on this brand when seeking an alternative. I bought it on offer, which worked out at less than a third of the price of the equivalent amount of my beloved brand and so I was prepared to be disappointed. I decided to do my own trial, to be fair to both. For 2 months now, I have strictly applied the same amount of the 'C' cream to the entire left side of my face, and the 'E' cream to the right side, after my usual cleansing routine each morning. I am amazed by the quality of this cream which feels exactly the same when applied, although a little thicker than my usual brand from the tube. It wears exactly the same, covers redness to the same (minimal) degree, and moisturises just as long. I have had not a single breakout, the condition of both sides of my face is identical after 2 months, and show the same strengthened effect with redness controlled. Although the packaging of this cream looks a little less luxurious on the dressing table, and using it feels less indulgent, I now actually prefer the increased hygiene of the pump dispenser compared to a jar. However, I have not noticed any right-left difference in effects after being in the sun, and I wonder about the value of SPF15 in this product which is not in my usual cream. Indeed, being reluctant to apply SPF unnecessarily at night, I have had to continue to use my usual cream as a night cream and would very much like Eucerin to bring out an equivalent night cream, or leave out the SPF altogether so I can use only this one day and night with my own SPF if I am going out.JayTee1

So after years of trying various moisturizers, I have finally found one that actually reduces the appearance of redness on my cheeks! Not only that, it also gives an all over even tone (i guess because of the concealer), what's more, my skin maintains this even complexion throughout the day! (if a bit shiny/greasy). It does not sting or irritate my skin, it doesn't have an unpleasant smell. The consistency is lighter than an overnight cream and not as light as a gel moisturizer. The green colour reminds me of a face mask but that quickly disappears with application to the skin (obviously). Like I said, I do find it makes my skin quite shiny BUT given that everything else about this product is PERFECT, i can deal with a little shine. Besides my skin looks so well, even and almost glowing probably because of this shine. Additionally, if I want to rock the 'natural' look than this product alone, achieves this! Before I would apply make up in such a way that it might look like I was't wearing any but with this product, I feel totally happy and confident using the moisturiser alone for an actual 'natural' look. Finally, I feel like even if I didn't use this product for one day, my skin would retain the even tone and reduced redness because the benefits are really skin deep, that and the high SPF! Eucerin have totally "Got it right!" This little bottle containing the Anti Redness Concealing Day Cream is a miracle in itself!! To all you people who have suffered with hypersensitive skin , this is the answer! It does exactly what it says it will do. It's worth every penny and it lasts long! I've been suffering with hypersensitive skin from my teenage years and during early menopause two years ago it got uncomfortably worse. I came across this little Gem and I haven't looked back. The confidence I get knowing although I may feel hot I do not look like a red tomato. My face and neck remain their normal color so I'm relieved and relaxed! Love this product! I've used it daily for years. It gives my skin the moisture level it needs along with spf that works well for me for the daily incidental sun exposures and even the unexpected longer exposures. I got this day time lotion as recommended by Clinique while I used their even better radical dark spot corrector, to ensure effectiveness and protect my skin from further darkening. I've been using it consistently for about a month now, hoping things would get better the longer I used it. I love the dark spot corrector, I really don't like this SPF lotion. I find it makes my skin very greasy within an hour of wearing it during the day. If I wear any makeup on top of this lotion, the greasy t zone is reeeaaal you guys. This forehead could blind a man if caught at the right angle in the sun. The lotion was fairly expensive so I'm pretty disappointed. Anyways, would love to find a daytime lotion with SPF that doesn't make me look like a timmies honey cruller.Tressa

I love using this product on the dark spots around my body. It is the perfect consistency moisturizer and just glides on my skin woth out feeling thick or heavy. This cream works great for dark spots. I had a lot on my chest due to age and sun damage. Previously, I had 2 IPL treatments without much results. But after using this cream, the spots are getting much smaller, breaking up and going away. It is not greasy and does not smell at all. I'm super sensitive to makeup and lotion smells, but this stuff is great. It does not hurt or burn at all unlike other lotions and creams that I have used. Spots that were larger than a quarter, raised and waxy are now about the size of pencil eraser, so I can see they are smaller. I'm still on my first tube but quickly bought 2 more because I'm working on my back next with the help of a lotion applicator. Friends have noticed a difference in my appearance.
