Cant say enough about this product!!!! IT IS AWESOME!!! Wish I would have found this stuff so much sooner. I have thick, coarse, unruly hair that is somewhat wavy, more like lumpy. It takes a lot of heat to style my hair. And then it's still frizzy and not so straight after using the highest heat setting on my hair dryer and straightener. Someone told me about this stuff. I ordered it thinking "great, another product to add to my collection." Well to my surprise, IT WORKED!!! I use it on my hair when wet, about 2 pumps. And then about 2 more pumps before I style when dry. Not greasy or oily at all. I use it every day. My hair loves it. It has transformed my hair , and it gets my hair straighter than it has ever been. Also works great when curling your hair. It works great with any hairstyle. No frizz, looks shiny and healthy, even helps on humid days. Why would you not want to try this stuff?? If it can help my hair, it's a winner!! I have naturally wavy hair and have used a number of products to help with the frizz. I am pleasantly surprised with this serum. It has a nice subtle scent to it and it's not too thick and oily. Best hair oil I’ve come across! So lightweight but effective. I don’t even remember how I was introduced to this oil, but I am glad I was! Barely any scent. A slight baby powder can be hinted from the bottle but barely there. Your hair will be shiny and soft using this oil. No matter how much is applied, your hair won’t be weighed down. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. The has been my go to staple product for the over 17 years I have been doing hair professionally. I love that they have the regular for more coarse, damaged, thick hair and the Lite for fine, thin hair. I have found from clients expressing concerns when using this that the biggest issue is people use way too much incorrectly. Pro Tip This goes for all products that you are putting in your hair, always start with a dime size if not smaller amount and when it all over your hands as if you rubbing lotion on tops of hands, inbetween fingers, etc . Start running your fingers through the ends of your hair moving up the hair shaft towards the scalp. If you have extremely fine or thin hair you can either just quickly run your fingers with what ever minimal product is left at the roots or skip the routes all together. When you apply the product in this manner it ensures that you were not getting big globs of hair product in only one place of the hair and instead evenly distribute the product. If you feel you need more at another dime size or smaller amount and again starting at the ends or mid shaft and apply.Anonymous

Loved this serum, its very expensive but worth it to me. Not only is the product great, you get quite a bit and you only need like a dime sized amount at MOST, so a little goes a long way and it will last you at least a few months probably even more. It has a nice smell to it, and doesnt feel greasy on the hair at all. It adds so much softness to my hair, makes my hair smooth and shiney, and keeps any frizz from acting up. Im really interested in trying out other products they offer because I liked this so much. It definitely lives up to the hype. I also used it as a preshampoo treatment, basically drenched my hair in it, left it on my hair for about 20 minutes, heated it up with a blow dryer for about 5 minutes and then rinsed and cleaned my hair and my hair felt sooooo amazing. Also, it might be weird to some people, but it has actual silk in it, like from a silkworm, which I find to be really interesting. I dont know the benefits of silk on the hair, but this product definitely works Highly recommend for all hair types. My hair is fried from going blonde so often, but usually it bounces back quickly. Well after going the lightest Ive ever been in September 2019, I decided to take better care of my hair. I bought bio silk because the description made it seem like an awesome reconstructive solution that would help the damaged appearance while fixing it. I also swore off heat products, and only got baby lights to blend my roots a little in January. Aside from that Ive just been extremely gentle with my hair, used hydrating high end shampoo and conditioner….and biosilk. I noticed my ends continued to be like straw so I cut 6 inches off and spot cut all my split ends. So I was beyond surprised when not too long afterward my ends once again felt like fried straw because prior to my use of biosilk my hair always bounced back well After 7 months of deliberate care and use of biosilk, youd think my hair would be soft and shiny as they advertise. Instead my hair is dry, brittle and breaking. Wasnt till I read reviews on here that made me realize its the biosilk Ive been using religiously. Maybe it works well on uncolored, natural hair, but use caution before using this to repair your damaged hair.for me it made it much worse.Anonymous

In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69

This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. Some hair oils I love for example are the Olaplex and Gisou hair oils!hailey.p

i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

I've never had a product that does what this product does. I have long brittle balayaged hair and after using conditioner my hair used to feel weoged down and limp. Ever since I included this in my routine, that has changed. I section my hair into two and apply a pea sized amount in each section avoiding the scalp and comb/brush each section to make sure the product spreads evenly. This product also helps with detangling. Degangle with fingers before your comb if you have long hair like me. Whoever is confused about this product isn't using it right..you're either using too much or it's not spreading well in your hair. After application, my hair no longer feels limp. They just feel healthy. If you feel the need to add more shine after this you can use the number 7 olaplex oil, just a drop after this. This routine is everything. Use the amount of product as asked by professionals and you will not find it as pricey either.addie

I have been wearing extensions for some time and decided to up the game and treat my hair to Olaplex. Big big mistake! The product is way too rich for hair extensions and it has completely dried them out! I had a lovely 20 inch, double drawn balayage hair extensions fitted in April 2022 and bought this kit in May.l (then repurchased when I was out). By September I have left 18 inch and dry as the Sahara. If you have hair extension please stay away! I’m not even close to the 12 month mark with my extensions and I’ll need to get new ones because my hair looks terrible. All that money down the drain, no pun intended. In the past I used just a normal cheap ish shampoo recommended by my extensions girl and I still have the old extensions, that I took out just after the 12 month mark & they’re in perfect condition. I am comparing this product to the discontinued Matrix Shaping Oil Cream – my all time favourite product. I have short, thick, coarse hair and let’s start by the smell – it is absolutely divine. The product is smooth and easy to apply with the pump and leaves my hair feeling soft all day with a lovely shine to it. Downside, I am finding I am using more than what I actually need to control the fine stray hair strands that make it seem I have a halo!!! Would make travelling difficult as you will need to decant product into a leak proof container. Does compare well to the discontinued Matrix product and overall it is a good substitute for me and my needs.Lunda

As all other Moroccanoil products, this has a great and lasting scent. I'm not entirely sure the point of this product, but I apply it to my hair after showering and it definitely makes my hair a little more manageable. I air dry my hair and it seems a little less damaged and a bit smoother. Not perfect, but definitely better. I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. After shampooing my hair I towel dry my long color treated hair very gently with a water absorbing towel and put a few pumps of the 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rub them together and apply to my hair from midway down to the ends. I can then let it air dry while I sleep and wake up to a gentle wave in my hair. If my hair looks slightly frizzy during the week, i will pull into a ponytail, wet my hands with water and slightly dampen my hanging ponytail hair before putting a few pumps of 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rubbing together and disperse onto my long haired ponytail. I bought this because I recently had to have brain surgery due to a brain bleed, and my scar was itching like crazy. This sooths my scalp and stops the itch as soon as I spray it on, wet or dry hair. It also helps with the frizz, enhances my waves. I like that it prevents breakage and strengthens. It's moisturizing. It helps detangle. It's super affordable. Today, I used Posh for the 1st time. I didn't use it with damp hair in my prepping before using the Le Volume. I used this product afterwards, to cut down on my frizz and fly-aways especially around my ends. I was nervous about this because when I typically do a "blow-out" using the Le Volume my ends looks a little ratty bc I have thin hair. Using the POSH helped give it a more cohesive look at the ends. I have thick curly hair that is prone to frizz; especially on humid days. A friend recommended I try l'ange products, specifically POSH. I was reluctant to buy something online as I've "fallen" for too many online products that don't deliver their promises. I first was introduced to this product when it came in an awards so swag bag. i'd heard of this brand before but have never tried anything from them. let me tell you, from the first time i put this in my hair i was hooked!! i bleach my hair to be able to dye with fun colors. the toll it takes on my hair – mega damage! i use this on wet hair. when my hair dries it is silky soft like bleach has never touched my hair. you only need one pump and the bottle will last you a VERY long time. it plays well with blow dryers and flat irons as well. i also believe its extends styling by a few extra days! the *only* downside is that it is on the pricey side. but consider this – you'll stop buying random products looking for "the one" that will give you these results. very happy Sephora is carrying this – wish more of their stores carried it in stock tho! – as i've ben looking for this product the second i ran out of that first bottle of it. like my headline says, its worth every penny bcuz this product WORKS so well!loldhams

So I’ve been using this for a while (6+months) and really haven’t noticed a difference. It’s a bit heavy for my fine hair but I could see it working for someone with really thick or damaged hair. It smells nice (that herbal Aveda smell) and for me, I put it on before blow drying. It just weighs my hair down. I’m also in a humid climate, but I bet this would be great for people in drier places. Anyway, it didn’t damage or do anything bad, just a bit much for mine. I've had luck with Aveda products I've tried for some time now after I have searched for a solution for dryness. My hair is prematurely turning white and it has made my hair very dry and damaged, not to mention that I do have the dryness from having curly/wavy hair. Needless to say, I have very high maintenance hair. I tried nutriplenish deep moisture with the leave-in (which I LOVE btw), and it worked wonders! I decided to give this a try to help repair my damaged hair, and it actually dried my hair and made the damage worse. I used to work in an Aveda salon for many years and this was the best, most important, product I recommended for my guests. Because it's light weight, there wasn't a guest it wouldn't be good for. Once I stopped working at my salon (due to a move across country) I had a hard time paying full price. This Oil is so Lux and it's definitely worth it. I've been looking for an oil I can use while straightening my hair that will moisturize yet not weigh it down and this product helps go above and beyond. My hair is shiny bouncy and full and leaves me with that salon look, which i could never achieve before. I have pretty fine curly 3B hair and you wouldn't even know with this oil. It definitely left me with a salon silk out when i was done. I love that it is additionally a thermal and UV heat protectant as well. love this product.kimmie

So my stylist recommended this to me because she sells it at her salon. I saw that ulta had a sale on these and I bought it with the mask. The mask was not good. This oil however was good at first when you put it on, the next day it will dry out and your hair feels dry afterward. Then when you get it wet and shower your hair is back to silky soft again. It's almost as if there's some sort of chemical that made it that way. I have to look into it. But it smells good. It just dry my hair out on the 2nd or 3rd day so I can't go far after using this without rinsing my hair off. It's not like putting coconut oil on your hair where the oil doesn't evaporate and dry your hair out. This thing does. Maybe it's the alcohol or silicone? This is def not suitable for someone like me with dry damaged over bleached hair. Maybe for someone with already pretty healthy hair to begin with that don't need too much moisture the second day.BaileyG

I have oils at home, that to be honest I have forgotten to use recently! Having visited my hairdresser recently this was used on my hair for the first time. I have thick, curly, coarse and frizzy hair. To blow dry it it can be a workout for the arms..and there is no way I can get it as smooth as they can! When this was used (just a couple of drops) on damp hair, the texture of my hair was so smooth and shiny it was amazing. It has certainly not made it greasy or feeling 'weighed down'….just loving the shine and the way it has made my hair look so healthy. This has spurred me on to use up my old oils and then I will be buying this for sure….I also noted that other reviews have suggested other products of the same brand to use at the same time. My hair is naturally ringlet-curly, but the ringlets were always noticeably frizzy. Over the decades I’ve tried oils, creams, mousse, gels, lotions, & potions to try and tame them. I gave up & would blowout my ringlets then straighten my hair, then slather with product. It worked for a while. Enter Covid Hair Loss!! I knew I needed to be gentle with my hair because it was now extremely fragile, which meant cutting way back on heat tools. After an exhaustive search for something new to tame the ringlet-frizz I now had back by letting my hair air dry, I landed on Olaplex No. 7. I honestly did not put a lot of faith in it, but I do now! I use about 7 drops in my hands and apply it to damp hair, then let air dry almost completely. I have zero frizz and perfect curls… ALL DAY! I do use a diffuser just to hit my roots for volume, but that’s it. I went from unruly frizzy curls, to blownout & straightened, to naturally curly shiny non-frizzy hair. It's been YEARS since my hair was this soft. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. It helps reduce frizz all over and leaves hair looking so healthy and shiny. Again, a little goes a long way, rub between hands well before applying. Definitely test out how much your hair needs because it won't be much. I digress. I let it set a bit before messing with my hair and my curls are so soft and so bouncy after. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

I was quite looking forward to using this most from all my purchases. However, I was quite disappointed. It is more of a foam not mousse. The hold is not there and my hair is low porosity type 2b hair and i did not find it reducing frizz either. I pair this mousse with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie from the same product line and they work really well together! I section my hair and evenly distribute the Smoothie, then I use this Mousse to focus on my ends. Finally blowdry with a diffuser attachment. When I use both products together my curls clump together nicely and my ends stay frizz-free. I can also use the Mousse on its own for a more natural/less defined curl. Wow! Amazing ingredients and quality. I am so lucky to have found this amazing products. I use it after washing my hair on a damper hair, my hair feels very soft and settled down. I am happy to be able to help with the projects of reinvest back to women in Africa. The scent is very good and the bottle is very easy to use. I shake it a little to get all ingredients to mingle. The package was received in a perfect condition nicely wrapped with paper in a thick cardboard box. No item was moving freely in this box which is great. I originally purchased this to help with detangling my 5 yr old daughters hair. It works a treat. I put a couple of pumps in my daughter's hair and with the use of a detangler brush, it works a treat. Very few tears now! Now I use it for my hair, just pump in my hand and spread throughout my hair. My hair is now nice and soft again.Bryanna

I absolutely LOVE Miracle Hair Treatment. The name says it all. I have very fine and damaged hair. My hair was breaking, had a lot of split ends, was very brittle with absolutely no volume, and was very dull and dingy. After a few uses, my hair has never felt more healthier and vibrant. I have been using this for two years now. I also use the frizz shampoo and conditioner. This smells amazing and it really helps with heat protection and keeps frizz at bay! I never do my hair without it!!! I even keep a small tube (it was a sample) with me and use it if U get caught in rain. I just put a dab on my fingers and run it over what's sticking out and boom it's fixed! I love it! If you've read my other reviews, then you know I have massive frizzy hair! Maaaate! This stuff is a complete game changer. It's easy to apply, I apply to wet hair straight out the shower and it is instantly brushable! No more knots. I find it tends to be around £12 in the UK, but a little really does go a long way and the bottle will last me easily 6 months…. that's just £2 a month for perfect hair! My hair is amazingly soft and smooth. I now use it on my daughter too, no tears when brushing her hair! It stops frizz and also protects against heat so you don't need to worry about frying your hair with straightners or curling irons! Fabulous product and I will continue using this for life now! At first I wasn’t too found of the smell! For some reason it reminds me of the “older woman’s” perfume white something it’s just really strong. Is still used it though 😊 I ended up having to dilute it a bit. I have fine hair and I think how it was originally was just too thick and too creamy. I added distilled water to the bottle and it’s still creamy but not as thick if that makes sense. Also instead of spraying it directly onto my hair I spray about 4 or 5 pumps into my palm and then I rub it on my ends just as I would conditioner. This lets me spread it as I like vs the bottles sprayer which seems to spit it out in a more concentrated way, like it’s not a mist that covers a lot of areas it’s more like a forest spritz and when I do that I notice certain areas are weighed down when I blow dry so I spray into my hand instead to fight that. Also adding the water sort of calmed the smell a bit which now I prefer! Don’t get me wrong I love having yummy smelling hair I’m all about fragrance in my products but for some reason it just smelled like an old lady to me no offense to anyone!! It was too strong or heavy of a smell (for me) not really crisp again for me. Some days I let my curls air dry with just this in it also! It’s so multi functional 🤩 it stops frizz, it’s light weight when spread evenly, and does seem to mend split ends I notice the difference more when I blow dry my curly hair straightvanessa.s

I heard other reviews and videos rave about this mousse and had to try it. I have to say, they are right. I have fine texture, low porosity natural hair. My hair is short, but when stretched the back comes to my collar bone and the front comes to the end of my nose (to give you a reference). I get good definition using a gel, but this product really defined my hair, and I had more body. Body is a problem for those of us with fine hair. My curls lasted 4 days, especially in the top which is longer. My hair is shorter on the sides and since I sleep on my side the definition fades sooner. I still had a little definition on my sides day 4, but the top still had curls. The first time I used it I only used a moisturizing deep conditioner and the mousse. It did great defining my curls, but left my hair very dry. The next time I used a moisturizing deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, a moisturizing gel, and a sealing oil with the mousse. Sounds like a lot, but this is the process I have to use every wash day to keep my hair moisturized for 3 days. I did not have any problems with dry hair at all this time. This mousse has become part of my weekly regimen.Breezinby

I have thick heavy waves/curls. The product worked well when I used it with a leave in conditioner. The day I was in a rush and didn't put a leave in my hair was course and felt dehydrated. It doesn't help to clump your curls on it's own, but was easy to style and mold my curls with my brush. Dried quickly and smelled good. I didn't get a chance to use it for a long period of time to see the overall quality. The bottle untwisted just enough while under my sink and spilled. Luckily I had it in a container. The bottle easily untwist. You should keep the product right side up and make sure it doesn't knock over. Unfortunately it's the bottle quality that keeps me from buying this again. I did hope to see how the long term use would go for my hair. Hope my review helps you make your decision.Daniella

I would suggest checking The Doux’s channel on YouTube to see how she uses the styler depending on the length of the hair. I have a short natural tapered cut and the mousse works best went I finger twirl the top and front. I love the slip and the shine. Even though the hold is soft – it survives my sweaty workouts. As long as I don’t touch my hair and let it air dry – it will last 5-6 days with minor touch-ups. This has become my sole and primary styler!GeeMilli

My hair is smoother and fuller when I use it. When I put it on after shampooing it always feels so heavy and oily but I rinse it lightly to help distribute it through my hair and scalp then put on conditional as usual. I dont normally blow dry but instead comb my hair into desired directions then put in a ponytail which I twirl astound my finger to creat a curl and let dry. It keeps its shape after it dries and then I brush it! Really helps to control frizz. My hair seems healthier.cattlebung

I was really looking for a good oil treatment, my hair is dry and I need to nourish it like crazy. When I put some on my palm I noticed how it felt. I have been loving all hask hair oils recently. I cant choose one favourite. They are so good to nourish and smoothing for my hair. Love the shine they give. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav

I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal

Previously, I was using the original Moroccaoil Treatment Hair Oil and was loving that, but decided to give the light version a go since it is labeled specificlsly for thin / fine hair. And wow, I am so glad I did! The first day I used it, I noticed my hair looking visibly nicer! It softens, smooths, hydrates, and helps to smooth frizz. My hair was so soft and looked so shiny. It did not weigh my hair down at all, like a lot of oils can for thin hair. I’ve noticed less breakage at my ends and my hair looks the healthiest it’s ever been. Also, the smell is so good! I apply the smallest amount (smaller than a dime) and rub it between my hands before massaging it into my hair starting at the middle of my strands and working my way down to my ends. If you have thin hair and wish to incorporate a hair treatment but struggle because most products are too heavy – this is it. Will continue to repurchase again and again.julianna.t
