20 Best Products For Sleek Hair (Feb 2023 Update)

I read several of the reviews after I tried this and this appears to have worked for some thick hair people, but I saw other fine hair people stating that it turned their hair brittle and dry, which is the experience I had. I thought it was a different product I got on the same day that damaged my hair, so I used this a second time and my hair felt as if half of it had disappeared, it felt thin and lost all volume. The mids and ends were uncomfortably dry, split and brittle afterward. I’m trying desperately to repair the severe damage this product caused with oils and Olaplex, but it will take time. My hair is pink and it’s having a hard time holding color now. This product needs to have a warning that it’s unsuitable and dangerous for some hair types. If your hair is fine please save yourself the hair trauma and don’t risk trying this product!megan.w

When a product doesn't work, I wait til the last minute to review because I give it multiple chances. The only thing this product said that was true is that you would feel heat. My hair didn't get shiner or glass like, in fact it got a little frizzy. Directions are simple as is application. However for the amount you have to use makes the size of the product laughable especially if you have to repeat. You'd have to purchase the product weekly. That would be expensive. And what exactly is in this that makes your scalp heat up? While it's not going to burn you, it's an ugly reminder that it's just chemicals. Chemicals that don't do the job. They claim its biodegradable and 98% natural. i'm not a chemist. But the heat reminds me of bleach or processing and that is chemical. 11/10!! I love this product!! I have dark hair so it makes it look extra shiny after I wash it! Plus, it makes it smell super good too. I was nervous that this product was going to end up drying out my hair, but it doesn’t at all!! After I use it, I just condition as normal, and my hair feels sleek and smooth for days after I wash. I always just let my hair air dry, but I’m sure with a little product or oil and a blow dry, it would make your hair look even more shiny!! Another thing I like about this product is that a little goes a long way. My hair is down to my waste, so typically when using hair products, I need a lot to reach the desired effect. The bottle for this product has “doses” on it so you know how much to use, and really I only need to use like 1 1/2 doses per wash. Though I do only wash my hair like twice a week, I have had this bottle for about a month now, and I still have about half the bottle left. I have already recommended this to all my friends, and I think everyone should check it out. I will definitely be buying another bottle once I run out. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. For 3 years I have been using this product I always pick it up when it's near empty, I love it so much smells so great and it's shiny yet not greasy I usually apply it to my hair when it is wet but even when it is dry the product sets in when I sleep the next day I wake up and it's shiny and perfect! I use this on my hair when it’s damp/wet to help keep it smooth. I have a LOT of very long, very straight hair of medium thickness. I use two pumps and apply from my ears down and work it through my hair. I air dry my hair but when I occasionally blow dry it, this works just as well. I don’t apply it to my roots. It smells amazing, high praise coming from me as I’m sensitive to scents! It’s fruity and a bit sweet, but not overpowering once my hair dries. My husband also uses it on his crazy thick, curly hair and it helps tame some of his frizz, but not all (I don’t think anything can tame his hair!). I bought this cuz I saw all the good reviews about it. I’ve had several different serums at home but when I tried this for the first time, I’m in love. Not only is it lightweight, but the scent smells awesome too! The quality is good, it made my hair soft and tangle-free. Hair is so much smoother, silkier and no frizz at all. Doesn’t make my hair oily too. I attached a pic of my hair after using this serum however, I would like to point out that in order to achieve what I’ve shown in the pic, you can’t just rely on one product. I did use garnier anti-humidity leave-in conditioner on damp hair before using my heat protectant to blow dry. Right after that I applied this serum and then DAvines OI Oil as a finishing (another great product). The serum itself is good, I only used it from mid lengths to ends. The packaging size tho, it’s quite small. BUT! Only 2 small pumps is enough for my hair (I’m southeast asian and my hair length is below my chest, it’s medium thick) so a little goes a long way! If you have thicker hair, you need to section your hair to a few parts, I only sectioned to 2 because it’s not that thick. this works somewhat, but so foes a six dollor mousse. it leaves my hair sticky and filmy like that hairspray feeling. i used it while vacationing in high humid climates @nd still frizzed. the smell is a chemically kinda smell. i just think its to expensive to work the way it does on my hair. totally disappionted. it also makes my hair itch and to much dries my scalp. cannot wear alone either. takes away shine.Cupcake

I love using the sleek iron by matrix when I straightened my hair. I like that it does not weigh my hair down. Also, it helps keep my flyaways in place. I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. I have mixed white/black, curly hair (texture closer to the white side), so moisturizing is a daily must for my long, curly hair. I love the formula of the product. The product sprays out in a mist, which dispenses a bit more fine than previous leave in conditioners I have used. Due to that, I have found myself over spraying. I found out once brushing that the spray conditioner actually let out a good amount. However, I have since adjusted – takes a minute to get used to. The bottle itself is not my favorite. Although very pretty, the push top to spray the product is rather tough to push down with one finger. The top also spins so while attempting to spray the product it twists in a direction that does not spray on the hair. My hair feels moisturized and soft when using this product. I bought this product for $30, really excited to try and revive my frizzy, dry, straight hair. I feel like this product may work for people with fine hair, but it personally didn’t work for my thick and wirey strands. In addition to this, I live in a pretty humid place so that could also be why it’s not helping. The smell is also strange and reminds me of a public bathroom? I purchased this to deal with my frizzy coarse hair that has been misbehaving badly with all the wet weather in Sydney. The product claims that the styling effect will last up to 3 days or until the next wash. The instructions say to use on damp or wet hair so I use it while drying my hair after a wash. It is heat-activated, so you need a hair dryer, and preferably finish with a flat iron. On my thick long hair I need about 15-20 sprays and comb through. The product does assist with heat protection and styling, and my hair does look smooth and straight as it usually does after using a flat iron. To my surprise, it works even better than the original formula! Having used the older formula, Nutritive Oleo Relax product, for over a decade, I was very skeptical to try this product. The scent is the same, which I love, as its a light rose water like scent. I have naturally curly hair, more frizzy than curly, and like to wear my hair straight. Here’s my routine: I use a nickel size of the Keratine Thermique smoothing taming milk, in my towel dryed hair, blow it out straight and use the Oleo Relax Oil in my hair right before I run a flat iron through it. I’ve found that with the new formula, I only have to use a small amount and it leaves my hair much more tamed and moisturized. I have less fly aways and my hair looks shinier than it did with the older formula. I’ve also found that I don’t need to constantly reapply the oil, as the first time around does the trick. Another bonus is the newer formula is heat-protectant, which makes it perfect for my routine or anyone that uses flat irons on a regular basis. Not only has Keratase updated the product, they have also updated the older plastic bottle to a glass bottle, which prolongs the life of the oil and allows for it to stay fresher. This product makes you look like you have naturally beautiful hair. Overall, I give the new Oleo Relax Oil, 5 Stars, as I was very impressed with the improved formula and packaging. The Kerastase site indicates that this is replacement for the DISCONTINUED OLEO RELAX SERUM. DEFINITELY NOT TRUE! This product is so OILY. Literally "sits" on surface of my hair, making it necessary to keep rubbing it into strands. Does NOT make hair smooth, as the serum used to do for my hair. This product actually makes my long curly hair feel a bit "rough" as opposed to how the serum made my hair feel soft and smooth with resulting straightening effect, making it easier to manage, comb, style. This oil also has an unappealing odor (notice I did not say "scent" b/c it is a bit off-putting). Also stays on hands, having to use (liquid) soap and very warm/hot water to remove, with two applications of soap. Definitely will NOT purchase this again. I have half bottle of the original, using it judiciously. I have tried in vain to locate the original serum but like other reviewers have written, the product is being sold by scalpers at outlandish prices from $85 to $150 PER bottle. Way out of my budget. I've written to Kepastase and have answered their survey questions, indicating that I'd appreciate knowing which product would BEST approximate the discontinued serum, and not one response. I literally just finished blowdrying my hair w/ Straight Guard for the first time and was already composing my review halfway through. I don't think I've ever raved about a product before, but this is AMAZING. My hair is softer, smoother, and shinier than it's been in more than a year (after some coloring mishaps). I usually use a mishmash of styling products before blowdrying–FrizzEase serum, a leave-in conditioner/moisturizer spray, a split-end healer, a straightening cream/heat protector. But this time I decided to just use the Straight Guard to see if it worked standalone, and my god, it was fantastic. I'll start at the beginning: the bottle uses a pump, which I always prefer because you can dispense a more precise amount of product. Just a little bit goes a long way; my hair is shoulder length right now, but thick, and the product itself is incredibly lightweight (something between a cream and a lotion) so it spreads easily. You can actually see a pearlescent quality in the cream, which translates to shine on my hair like I've never seen. I'm not sure if it cut drying time at all, but I actually noticed an improved straightness to my hair. SO MANY "straightening" creams/serums promise that result, but I always have to go over my hair with a flat iron after I'm done blow drying. Supposedly that's good for locking the cuticle, but putting that much more heat on your hair just never seems like a healthy move. Straight Guard eliminated that step. And did I mention my hair is shiny, soft, and smooth as all get out? So for the time saving, the fact that it takes the place of all those other products, and the sheer quality, this one is more than worth the price. I’m a huge fan of pretty much every Chi product. I’ve been using Chi straighteners since I first started straightening my hair 17 years ago, even trying many other brands and quickly going right back to Chi. I have probably 15 different Chi hair products at any given time. They’re all THAT good! Chi has just mastered hair care and styling, in my opinion. This product is no different. As I mentioned, I’ve been straightening my hair for a long time, so I’ve learned that you need good products to protect your hair from all that heat and potential damage it causes. I tried this product because I’ve tried so many others by Chi and loved them. It is a good product to help protect from the heat and damage your straightener would cause, it makes your hair super soft, and it does seem to help extend your straightened style. I, personally, have naturally straight hair, so I don’t need a whole lot of help keeping it straight. I mainly do it to iron out a few spots that get wavy (in the back underneath, on the front sides near my ears). I can’t say how it will do with someone who has naturally curly hair, but my crazy spots didn’t wave again while using this product, and these areas normally would wave up a bit, especially if it’s really humid outside. It did make my hair a little greasy the following day, more than with the straight guard spray that Chi has, but I do have oily hair. This may not be an issue if you have dryer hair. I love this stuff. It gently holds my hair the way a best friend would after a long night out. It smells great and my hair still looks nice the next day. I cannot even begin to tell you how fresh your hair feels after you spray it, and the volume is just amazing. My flatmate even asked me if I’ve changed my hairstyle, because “there’s DEFINITELY more volume”. Moreover, it stays big and bouncy ALL day long! No frizz, no stickyness, lots of volume, shine and luxurious smell. This is now going to be a permanent product in my hair routine. I know it’s on the pricey side but worth every pennyvictoria.š

Ive been using this product for several years after being recommended by my hairdresser. It is an excellent product which gently gives shape to the hair when blow dried, leaving it conditioned and shiny without any stickiness. bought this product because i couldn’t decide between this or the mending infusion. i am a man with short hair and using this definitely styles my hair, but it almost feels like a hair gel rather than a cream. it leaves my hair just a little bit stiff and a tad oily. considering getting the mending infusion but if you don’t mind slightly oily hair this does the trick. side note it smells great. i feel like moroccanoil changed their formula and nothing smells the same anymore, but this has the moroccanoil signature scent.aydenb723

I have had some pretty serious issues over the past few years… after having lost about 60% of my hair due to some health issues… and I have to say that this Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is AMAZING!!! I went from having VERY healthy, thick and shiny hair to VERY dry and fragile hair, almost over night, a few years back. My hair used to take DAYS to fully dry, when I would clip it up in a twist to dry naturally. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, the bottom has literally been TOTALLY DRY, upon taking it out from my hair drying turban, only about 15 minutes after washing it… 🙁 The first time that I washed my hair again after having used a tiny bit of this product in my hair 3 days prior, when I took my hair out from my hair drying turban, it was actually STILL WET!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! My hair is soft and pretty shiny again! 🙂 If this could do this for my hair in this condition, I can't imagine how WONDERFUL it would be for those of you with healthy hair! And, it didn't weigh it down, either! It truly is an AMAZING product!!! THANK GOD my health and hair are on the mend and I am LOOKING VERY FORWARD to continuing to use this product when my hair will finally be restored to the way it used to be. I really really REALLY wanted to love this. Trust me, I even tried it on dry and wet at multiple times throughout the week and let me just say, disappointed in an understatement. To give you better perspective, I have wavy straight hair and I twirl my hair around my finger and usually creates these beautiful waves as my Hair dries. I was searching for the best hydrating styling cream snd decided to give this one s try because I love their hair oil but oh boy big mistake. It smelled NOTHING like their other products. It smells like chemicals and the moment I apply it to myself hair (wet or dry) it gets SO STICKY & STIFF. Once it dries it make your hair so puffy and it worsens when you brush it. Not sure if this is meant for curly hair folks? But it’s s big no for me. Disappointed but it is what it is. Thank god I bought the mini version. I will still be returning though, no point in keeping this or giving it away. I couldn’t do that to someone /: trust me when I say, It’s not worth the hype! Hope this helps anyone.Ori4peace

In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69

This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. Some hair oils I love for example are the Olaplex and Gisou hair oils!hailey.p

i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

I received a complimentary product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I am always happy to try a new serum for my curly 3B/C hair. This stuff is liquid gold. It smells good, has a nice weight to it, but isn’t greasy or sticky. The texture is smooth and silky, spreads easily, absorbs quickly into my hair. I suspect most people probably don’t need a lot, a pump or two would suffice. Today I used it with the shampoo and conditioner from the set. The shampoo and conditioner make my hair super silky and soft and this serum provided moisture and heat protection. I have zero frizz! Today I used my hair dryer with a diffuser attachment and wow, my curls got super springy. It’s been about eight hours since I washed my hair and applied the product. My curls are intact, silky soft, smooth and defined. I used about 3 pumps worth which is probably a lot but I have a lot of hair and need a large quantity of product. I’ll be trying this with a round brush and hairdryer and flat iron in a couple days. But for now? I love this serum, it’s great!rosie.k

So it’s a very convenient size bottle only 3 ounces very bright yellow color and absolutely marvelous scent of flowers that is not overwhelming and very clean and pleasant. There’s a little cover over the pump that’s transparent, the bottle is transparent as well and the pump is very convenient and only gives you the amount that you need per each pump action. It’s very liquidy and oily but the serum is nice and smooth and silky and it works pretty well especially on damp hair but I would actually suggest using it on dry hair so you don’t overuse it because it is oil or oily and you don’t want to have that much oil in your hair because it’s going to get dirty/greasy pretty quickly then. it did also help with the flyaways and keep it from becoming frizzy. I think it’s a very good product and I will continue to use it because it works and I really like the scent and I really like that it’s not such a big bottle that I could bring it with me in my purse and I love the little cover for the pump so even if it spills it won’t actually leak. I will recommend this product and the line because it’s high quality, luxurious appealing and almost substitutes for a slight body mist or perfume that smells like beautiful smelling flowers which reminds me of wisteria. This line is great for very dry hair. I especially like it for use after I have been on a heat styling binge. It’s definitely a heavier, thicker shampoo and conditioner. I have coarse, dry hair, but it gets weighed down easily, as well. I prefer to use this line when I am providing a “deep conditioning” treatment to myself. The serum is excellent in small amounts, and takes frizz. I would not recommend using the serum and the cream together. Serum is good for days I want to flat iron and smooth. The cream is better for days I’m allowing hair to air dry. The cream is a bit heavy for my liking. Not that it affects the product’s performance, but I am a huge scent person – the wish this line (and all of the Biolage lines) had a more appealing fragrance (they don’t smell badly, just reminds me of regular bar soap I guess). Overall, great product for occasional usage, or more frequently if you had a ton of hair to manage.marissa.j

I absolutely love this cream, it WORKS! I have thick coarse wavy hair that tends to frizz especially in humid weather. Suave Anti Frizz cream works better than some other products for a fraction of the price. Just a little does absolute wonders. I even comb some into my hair when it’s damp after washing and need to add very little to after styling. I hope they never stop making it.Lisa

Though, I realize this is no miracle cure for the frizzy’s. This makes my hair feel nice and soft. My hair is thin, naturally curly, and can feel straw like at times. This doesn’t weight my hair down like some products. It does help with the humidity, but I’ve come to the conclusion that whatever I use won’t be 100% because that’s just the way my hair is. Upon purchasing SUAVE Anti-Frizz at my local Walmart, I noticed the packaging of the product was beautiful. A nice sleek look as if it was one of the high end products. The product itself has a very nice smell, and texture. This particular Sleek anti-frizz cream, goes a long way so you really don't have to use a whole lot. At first, I believe I put too much in because it left a sticky/wet feeling, texture to my hair. Upon realizing my mistake, I quickly fixed the issue and it has been an amazing "go to" product since. I use no more than a dime size for my length of hair and it lasts all day. I can walk around all day without having any flyaways or worries about whether or not the humidity or weather, will make me look like a fluffy pillow. I use this product after my shower everyday. I must say, I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase. I gave it four stars because when I went back to purchase more at my local Walmart they didn't have any more in stock. I am currently out. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don't know if I'd try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don't know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.)monzav

I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal

Previously, I was using the original Moroccaoil Treatment Hair Oil and was loving that, but decided to give the light version a go since it is labeled specificlsly for thin / fine hair. And wow, I am so glad I did! The first day I used it, I noticed my hair looking visibly nicer! It softens, smooths, hydrates, and helps to smooth frizz. My hair was so soft and looked so shiny. It did not weigh my hair down at all, like a lot of oils can for thin hair. I’ve noticed less breakage at my ends and my hair looks the healthiest it’s ever been. Also, the smell is so good! I apply the smallest amount (smaller than a dime) and rub it between my hands before massaging it into my hair starting at the middle of my strands and working my way down to my ends. If you have thin hair and wish to incorporate a hair treatment but struggle because most products are too heavy – this is it. Will continue to repurchase again and again.julianna.t

Just try to use it on lengths if you want a natural look rather than it getting too oily if you apply on roots! 🙂 do recommend though! I really like this product! I have long thick hair that's wavy/curly, and this product makes my hair SO soft and shiny. I think that this product works best on dry hair or at most very slightly damp hair. I like to use a very small amount of this product on the tops of my hair and it tames all of the frizz without making my roots look oily at all! Before I braid my hair, I like to put this product in the sections and then after I take out the braid I get these beautiful soft shiny waves. Using a little of this product goes a long way, even for very thick hair like mine.lydia

This is my staple heat protectant spray. Love the bottle, easy to spray and it sprays in a fine mist, not making my hair overly wet with product. This product also helps with frizz and smoothens my hair , also reduces knots in my hair. I have found that this spray is effective as it has not been damaging my hair. I have been routinely blowdrying my hair currently and my hair has been healthy. Love that it is not strongly fragrance . Also love the fact that it does not weigh down my thin hair. I've been using this heat protectant for as long as it's been out now, and it's amazing! My hair has been at various lengths over the years, from all the way down to my bottom, to almost to my collar, and now I'm older so it's shoulder length. It has always worked great and I'm assuming always will! I have always had very thin oily hair, so its hard to find products that dont make it worse or weigh it down. I dont understand why people give bad reviews for a broken bottle or spilled bottle etc… it's ridiculous to give something a bad review, when it brings the points down and they haven't even used the product. Walmart is always wonderful about returning/exchanging anything that you get, even if you don't have the receipt! So people don't pay attention to the bad reviews on this!MamaD79

is an amazing spray. Light but enough to give a bit of hold. Flexible and not dehydrating. Gives a bit of texture without crispiness. The nozzle gives a nice even spray without clogging. This hair spray finishes off any hair style! I use it when my hair is curled and it holds the curls without any scrunchie or hard feeling. It never causes flakes and makes your hair shinny. I use it when I blow dry straight as well. I spray it on my brush and comb through my hair after and it gives it such a nice smooth finished look and really helps with frizz.
