This creme is INCREDIBLE. If you have 2c-3a HIGH POROSITY & PROTEIN THIRSTY hair, this will be amazing for you. I have 2c-3a very low porosity, protein sensitive thick hair. Unfortunately this over-proteinized my hair type after just one use. By the second, my hair was strawlike in texture- though my curls were still beautifully enhanced with a lot less frizz & super bouncy. Both of which are hard to achieve as I'm just starting my curly hair care journey. I'm only taking a star off because it feels exactly how it describes- a lotion for your hair. You know how when you put hand lotion on? And you wash your hands later and the lotion reactivates? That's sort of what this feels like on the hair, except it never really dries down. It also felt like it created buildup because of that. By the second time of use, I felt like I had to wash it out with clarifying shampoo. I used a big amount the first time, and small the second- not really any difference in feel, just less curl definition. But that is virtually the only downside this product had. I use this on days I plan on using a flat iron. I use a dime size amount and work it through my hair before blow drying with my round brush. It really helps tame my frizz and keep my hair manageable. I bleached my hair twice in three days and the second day of bleaching my hair it was completely fragile to the point where I literally did not want to brush it because every time I did hair and hair would fall off and I'm talking chunks of hair. I have been approached by women complimenting me on my hair after using this. My hair looks healthy, just a minimal hint of shine, and great volume even though I have semi-thin hair. I've heard from more people that they love the smell. I see what they mean. It has a professional salon-like smell. I've been told that as well. In fact, several friends and family of mine all asked me what I was wearing that smells good, and I told them to smell my hair. They all said, "yep…that smells really clean." I don't want to compare this to other brands but I feel I would be holding back information that could help someone make a definitive decision, so here goes: I have tried Pacino's, Dove, and Clubman mostly including numerous drugstore brands. This seriously replaces all of them. I have purchased Reformer from legit retailers in the past and has been one of the only products that keeps my hair styled all day long. This product appears to be a cheap knockoff that does not hold you hair for more than 20 minutes. It also smells bad and leaves an oily feel after. The main issue with this product is that the wand that slicks your hair down so nice, can't be lifted off your hair without grabbing them and pulling them up. So the top baby hairs get slicked, then an inch or two down your head when you try to lift the brush away it's pulling your hairs up, creating frizz. I really wanted to like this product, but it's quite a hassle to try to use, and I have to end up using another product to lay down the hairs this pulled up. I would not buy this again. I do have somewhat curly hair, so maybe this would work better for someone with stick straight hair. I'm not sure.Mandy

i really wanted to love this but it just doesn't work that well for me. my baby hairs are loonggg and this doesn't slick them back all the way. it slicks back like the first part and then the longer end of the hair looks super weird and sticks out near my the base of the ponytail. but it does work to slick back the first part so maybe try it out if you think it could work for you. hairspray works better for menicole b.

The No Frizz Weightless Spray is my life saver! My hair is thick, long and very frizzy and although I love it, I don’t have the time and energy for styling it after every washing. This is a great product and one of my all time faves. It's super lightweight but the hold is strong and my waves last all day when I use this. I can't feel any product in my hair at all and it's never sticky or stiff. I've never found anything that works as well for my hard to hold hair. I use a curling iron to create loose waves that this spray defines the curls well but I can still get a brush through my hair easily. I spray it liberally on clean damp hair and then let my hair air dry overnight. In the morning I use the curling iron for beachy waves and this spray gives my hair that tousled, beachy look that's so on trend right now. Truly, this is a miracle product. The only thing it lacks is thermal protection. However, I do use another product for that purpose so my hair is protected well. This spray works well whether you blow dry or use a curling iron or flatiron. It's a very versatile product. I absolutely cannot live without it. It's the perfect spray for fine hair because it's truly weightless. My hair has body and bounce and yet the waves stay in place for several days. T3 is a brand I love already. I’ve purchased three blow dryers over the years because I love them that much. I don’t straighten my hair that often for no particular reason but I decided to try the Lucea 1'' Professional Straightening Styling Flat Iron. To be honest, I didn’t like it at first only because I was trying to use it as a curling iron to create waves which was an epic fail. I’m not sure if it’s just above my pay grade or I don’t have the dexterity but it didn’t work nonetheless 😂. I even watched videos on YouTube and it looked so easy 😠. I do like it however as a flat iron. This really has no bells or whistles. It’s a simple, straightforward flat iron. It has nine heat settings and it comes with a chart so you know the perfect temperature for your particular hair type. My hair glides through effortlessly without any snagging or pulling and my hair comes out shiny, smooth but still has body. I don’t like when flat irons make the hair pin straight. It lacks body, depth and fullness and I don’t think it’s a flattering look. This one luckily doesn’t do that. It tames flyaways, frizz and makes the hair look healthier. This uses ceramic, rounded, even-heat plates so it’s less abrasive on the hair and actually promotes hair health. This has an automatic shut off after an hour too. I have a new original CHI analog flat iron, but kind of missed having the option of adjusting the heat level (I got the one that is set at 392) when styling my hair so decided to splurge on a T3 as a back up. I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do, but I am really glad I invested in this because it is probably one of the best flat irons I've used in years. It has its particular cons – I would like a lock on the plates to keep them closed when not in use, and I think it does slightly dry out the hair a wee bit more than others, but, it does style better, so! The way the plates are shaped, you can do perfect waves and red carpet curls without needing to manipulate your hair a lot. I was testing this the day I got it, and was able to get beautiful, shiny, bouncy curls by simply rolling the flat iron and twisting right after while the hair was still hot. Oh, and it gets HOT! Like, super HOT! I turned it down a little because even at level 4, I felt a good amount of heat coming off the plates. Surprisingly, you can hold the iron without gloves or a cloth and not burn yourself. It is slightly more drying than my CHI as I previously mentioned, but I think it's a lot more versatile and more adept at creating a wider range of styles, so that is a big plus for me. Im struggling with frizzy hair for some time and on top of that my hairs are fine. I have try all different products (even from Colour Wow) and this is first product I notice doing anything to my frizz till I decided to try travel version of this. I use it after every wash, and my hair look better straight away. I have medium thickness, relatively straight, but pretty darn frizzy and wild hair. My hair gets oily pretty quickly, so I tend to avoid post-shower products because they tend to make the oils worse. I received this gifted by Color Wow and I am pretty happy with it! It's not totally transformative or anything, but it definitely does help control my frizz quite noticeably and makes my hair much more manipulatable and easier to manage, without any crunchy or strange residue (unless you put too much, but its pretty easy to brush out even if you do). I was really pleasantly surprised by this product! My hair is VERYYYYY frizzy. It’s naturally very wavy, but the days that I blow dry it straight even it gets frizzy pretty quick. I found myself reaching for this a lot, both with and without the blow dryer. At first it almost makes your hair look a little bit greasy, so you don’t want to add too much too soon. Start small and build it up. Either way I found it soaks into your scalp in no time, but if it still looks a little oily I used the blow dryer which helped! First, I purchased this with my own $$ after seeing an article from The Kit so I was not paid or sponsored for this review! I just want to help my people find hair products that work b/c it’s hard to find!!! I have shoulder length relaxed hair with 3inches of curly new growth and I’ve been struggling to find a solution that allows me to moisturize and smooth my new growth while not weighing down my relaxed hair and CHILE, I found her! This serum is magical- I used JVN pre-poo oil(GAME CHANGER), then a full Olaplex treatment(no 0 for 1hr, then no 3 for 1hr, followed by 4+5) then I used a bean sized amount of this serum, mixed with a bean sized amount of Olaplex no6 and a pea sized amount of Pattern by TER leave in conditioner on wet hair. I use the LCO method, which I find is better for relaxed hair than the LOC method, so I layered a little Pattern Jojoba oil, Olaplex 7 and a smidge of castor oil on my roots and ends. It’s been a week and usually by now, my hair is dry, limp and crazy, but this serum has my hair bouncing and behaving!! It’s light, my hair is snatched and blends with my weave like I’ve never had before! Usually I have to moisturize like crazy and my hair gets weighed down and greasy before my wash day, but this serum is all the product I’ve used on my leave out all well and it’s rich hunny! As a lover of vintage fashion, I'd heard many good things about this pomade, but having fine, wavy hair made sculpted styles nearly impossible. Combine that with hair that's starting to thin, and you realize that maybe long hair isn't your thing… However, it turns out Suavecita is a short-haired girl's best friend! I recently had my hair cut into an asymmetrical pixie, and needed a product that would allow for frizz control and texture enhancement, without weighing my hair down or making it sticky. Not only does it help fight frizz (mega important if you live somewhere with humid summers), it gives a ton of dimension and texture to wavy hair, and makes training your cowlicks a breeze! I think I may have a bad batch. It's basically a solid bar of soap. Nothing like the video. There's no way to remove a dab. I have to pull the whole puck out of the can and lather it up in my hands with a little water like I'm washing my hands, then drop the block back in the can. Although hard to apply, it's is a great pomade! Holds up to the Texas heat and humidity. It will get a little crunchy towards the end of the day, but it's not bad. There is also some Murray's-like buildup after a few days that takes a couple shampoos to get out.Long C.
Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. This product has been fantastic for my postpartum hair! For those who have gone through it you know your hair get wrecked for 6 months after baby is born. My hair looked limp and dull no matter what I did with it, following my old normal routine didn’t seem to work. This oil is super light weight and doesn’t cause oily buildup that other products I have used in the past to hydrate. After a few uses my dull hair started to shine again! The scent isn’t bad, but also not my favorite. The scent is stronger when applying than what lingers throughout the day. I have curly hair so I have only applied to wet hair. Kerastase Ultime Hydrating Hair Oil Serum is my new liquid gold. I have naturally curly hair that takes on a life of it’s own when exposed to humidity. I first tried this product on my dry hair because I couldn’t wait to see how it works. A big turn off for me is a hair product with a strong smell. I just can’t tolerate it. This serum has a light fragrance that didn’t offend me at all. I applied some to my hair and immediately noticed all the little fly away pieces of hair were blended in and my hair had a healthy looking shine. When I first received the product I read the instructions that it can be used on wet or dry hair. My hair was dry so I gave it a try. It's a no for me on dry hair. it was disappointing because I thought this oil would be just like the dozens of others I had tried. To test on wet hair, I first shampooed with a clarifying shampoo to ensure there was a clean slate. The directions state one to two pumps on wet or dry hair so I sectioned my hair in two and applied one pump to each section. My hair soaked it in but did not look or feel slick. The day I tested was very humid at over 70% so, while blow drying my hair, I expected Brillo sprouts of frizz to be popping up. None. My hair dried beautifully and frizz-free. There was a shine but still no slickness. It held up nicely throughout the day but did start to frizz up when it got damp. I'd recommend using a finishing spray to keep the look. Normally I can go up to four to five days between washes and this serum may have shortened the time by a day, but not significantly. If you, like me has never had any luck with oils in the past give this one a try. I'm stunned at how well it worked and will always keep a bottle on hand.NeeNeeJeanie

bought this product because i couldn’t decide between this or the mending infusion. i am a man with short hair and using this definitely styles my hair, but it almost feels like a hair gel rather than a cream. it leaves my hair just a little bit stiff and a tad oily. considering getting the mending infusion but if you don’t mind slightly oily hair this does the trick. side note it smells great. i feel like moroccanoil changed their formula and nothing smells the same anymore, but this has the moroccanoil signature scent.aydenb723
I have had some pretty serious issues over the past few years… after having lost about 60% of my hair due to some health issues… and I have to say that this Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is AMAZING!!! I went from having VERY healthy, thick and shiny hair to VERY dry and fragile hair, almost over night, a few years back. My hair used to take DAYS to fully dry, when I would clip it up in a twist to dry naturally. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, the bottom has literally been TOTALLY DRY, upon taking it out from my hair drying turban, only about 15 minutes after washing it… 🙁 The first time that I washed my hair again after having used a tiny bit of this product in my hair 3 days prior, when I took my hair out from my hair drying turban, it was actually STILL WET!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! My hair is soft and pretty shiny again! 🙂 If this could do this for my hair in this condition, I can't imagine how WONDERFUL it would be for those of you with healthy hair! I really really REALLY wanted to love this. Trust me, I even tried it on dry and wet at multiple times throughout the week and let me just say, disappointed in an understatement. To give you better perspective, I have wavy straight hair and I twirl my hair around my finger and usually creates these beautiful waves as my Hair dries. I was searching for the best hydrating styling cream snd decided to give this one s try because I love their hair oil but oh boy big mistake. It smelled NOTHING like their other products. It smells like chemicals and the moment I apply it to myself hair (wet or dry) it gets SO STICKY & STIFF. Once it dries it make your hair so puffy and it worsens when you brush it. Not sure if this is meant for curly hair folks? But it’s s big no for me. Disappointed but it is what it is. Thank god I bought the mini version. I was in the process of going from dark brown natural with box dye on top to blonde for a change. My hair was orange at the end and in the middle. I cant risk more bleach just yet as I dont want it to break. It was in an unbearable state. I tried a toner and didnt help so I gave this a go.It says apply to wet hair leave on for 5 mins and rinse but having seen it on you tube I put it on dry hair on the orange parts and left it for 10 I probably should have done 5 mins longer but got scaredMy hair is not perfect and I can still see tinges of orange but this has saved my life and its not noticeable unless you really look. I really wish Id have took a before and after picture because the results was unbelievable and I really didnt think anything would help my orange.As a natural dark brown with box dye on top to cover the grey I was traumatised bleaching my hair and seeing this orange until I found this. The condition of my hair is fantastic due to use of olaplex Im guessing and Im going to bleach again in a month. Great price as well Oz Hair and Beauty has not let me down once in regards to this PRODUCTFanola orange made a noticeable difference in the brightness of my highlights in a short amount of time it reduced the orangecoppery appearance, which tends to be an issue for me as my hair is naturally very dark. It work well with curly hair as it doesnt dry it out as much as your typical shampoos. With that in mind, you will still need to style your hair using other products specific to your hair type not an issue as Fanola Orange still does what it sets out to do. My only issue with it is that I am not a fan of the smell it has a hint of musk to it, which I personally do not enjoy. It is not overwhelmingly strong but something to keep in mind if aromas are important to you. Other than that it is a good product that does what it sets out to do very effectively.You only need to use a small amount roughly twice3 times a week so I imagine a bottle will last for a good while. The directions advise you to use gloves I havent done this whoops but thankfully there hasnt been any signs of staining on my hands nor on my bathroom floors. If you need a shampoo to keep your brassy hair silver, this is a super solid option. I found my hair was becoming more resistant to my usual favorite purple shampoo , as well as the and decided to try out the no orange line. One wash and I was convinced I needed this for maintenance from there on out my strands were noticeably less brassy especially when used in conjunction with the No Orange Mask in comparison to the tone my purple shampoos produced. My color was still bright, and I loved the cooler tones. I even experimented to see if this difference was from the No Orange mask or the shampoo itself so I tried using the mask with 2 different purple shampoos that Ive had luck with in the past, and while the tone was improved, I still saw the best results with the No Orange shampoo. The mask definitely helps with the process, so now I use the whole set twice a week which is how often I wash my hair for the win The shampoo and mask itself smells slightly citrusy and refreshing love it. The shampoo lathers beautifully, but if youre heavy handed with the dry shampoo, you may want to use a different shampoo to quickly cleanse the scalp before using the No Orange youll end up using less product this way and producing a significant amount more lather. I have long, fine hair with below-average thickness (not thin, but definitely not thick). I have been getting American Waves (a chemical process similar to a perm) for six months, which gives me a 2A/2B very loose waves. (My natural texture is "bendy", a mix of type 1 and 2A.) This is one of many products I have tried for air-dry styling*. I have used medium-hold gels, salt sprays, mousses, and air-dry creams. This is my favorite product so far for Day 1 results, but doesn't perform as well on Day 2+. What I like: – Like other Moroccanoil products, the smell is amazing and not too strong. – Very rich thick foam (definitely feels like a luxe product) – Gives nice definition and volume on Day 1 – Lightly moisturizing and doesn't weigh my hair down – Not sticky at all What I don't like: – It's pricey – On Day 2+, my hair looked "mussed". I still had good definition, but my whole head had more of a frizzy/fuzzy "halo" that I get with my favorite products (or no products). That said, I am still inexperienced with wavy styling, so that might be due to my (lack of) refresh technique. I am going to experiment with that, and see if I get better results. * I have found that my wash technique has a bigger impact on my results than the styling product I use. I wash with Kenra volumizing shampoo and scrunch in their conditioner, wet plopping in a shower cap before rinsing. Then I dry-plop in a microfiber towel after scrunching in a styling product (or not). After air drying, I zhuzh the roots for volume. Different products can improve the definition and volume, but this routine seems to be what makes or breaks the shape, spring, and clumpiness of the waves.Jessica

I purchased this recently to soften and nourish my dry 4c hair and I was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way and it left my hair feeling rich, moisturised and manageable. It has a fluffy and buttery consistency. When I first got it was a bit disappointed at the size because of the price but it didnt matter.I have only been using it for 2 weeks but I can tell the difference in my hair length already. Great smell! Thick and moisturizing, without feeling heavy or greasy. However, as much as I would like to praise it further, it’s moisturizing effect lasts only about 24 hours. It doesn’t have a significant amount of alcohol, yet its moisturizing effect wears off. Therefore, it cannot be my “go to” for my winter scalp. I don’t like the idea of having to constantly reapply between washes. It’s great on natural 4C hair, but not moisturizing enough for dry winter scalp.
I bought this on the basis of all the positive reviews. I am so disappointed. I know things don't work for all hair types, but given what this is made from, and all the people with 4C hair who are raving about it, it should surely have worked on my 3A/B type hair, long with two curl types. It does absolutely nothing for my hair. Nothing. I washed my hair and used this and a sister product, and the following morning my hair was as dry as anything. Dryer than if I'd just washed and conditioned. Obviously it must relate to my hair type, as others have raved about it, but I just don't see why. Will stick to Cantu in future. I have fine-thin hair, for me, I have found this product to actually live up to it's name ! It not only thickens the hair, provides hold to your completed hairstyle, it also adds shine and works amazingly as a setting spray for both when blow drying or when using a curling iron !! With use, this product creates the hair to appear more healthy and it is believed with long term use, thereby improving the condition of your locks, that it does just this !!! Although, the product itself can be a bit pricey, I have experienced that if even used as an staple item for long-hair, it can in fact last a long time. Used in small amounts, as this is a quality line, it will prove itself to go a long way and will last longer than what might be expected initially for most, as an first time user, as it did for me. Amazing product. Can't understand the poor reviews so far. My hair is fine and wavy, often goes fluffy and flyaway, but then prone to becoming flat and greasy fairly quickly as the day progresses. This gives me a guaranteed good hair day – bouncy, soft, shiny and manageable all day long. Been using pretty much every day for a couple of years, and the days I don't use it I certainly wish I had! I find with this it is best to focus on the roots so the microfine powder in the cream base can do it's work there, then smooth any leftover residue through the length. Don't need to use much, particularly with fine hair. Genuinely can't recommend this enough, and gutted that they no longer do a travel sized version as I now have to decant it into a smaller bottle so I can have nice hair on holiday too!!Deelydoo
I use this product to extend my style between washes. It absorbs the oil really well and doesn't weigh down my fine hair. I will cry so hard if B and B stops making this. It's the only product out there like it that does such a good job. Believe me, I've wasted tons of money trying to find one.
